2023-09-16 04:34:47We really liked the abalone shui mai, so good!! Shanghai steamed dumplings were also good.Coffee ribs, great price, little dry.Mango pudding, smooth and delicious, nice dessert to finish the meal.Citrus pu-erh tea is very interesting!🍊

2023-08-06 19:55:23Fantastic dim sum place where they still use carts!Service: Typical service of a dim sum place, although can be a little slow getting food out. Had to wait 30 min to be seated because it was so popular, but we just went to a bakery in the plaza to grab some iced coffee while we waited. Server brought jasmine tea for us right away, and it was consistently filled. Ordering was a little bit confusing because you can order off the menu or from carts, but you’ll get the food eventually. If you are in a hurry, make sure you tell the servers and they will get your food to you quickly so you don’t have to wait for the carts.Food: All of their typical dim sum items are well made (e.g., shrimp dumplings, bbq pork buns, shao mai), but if you get their Shen jian bao (fried pork buns), they are not up to par. The soup dumplings are decent, but nothing to write home about. I’d stick to the regular dim sum items.A lot of reviews complained about an 18% gratuity automatically added to the bill. 18% is typical gratuity, and the additional tip line says “Extra tip”, indicating that it’s in addition to tip that’s already included. If you read the bill, it’s not confusing.

2023-08-23 23:20:51The dimsum was delicious. You can order from the pushcarts or paper menu. The food came out very fast.The squabs (pictured) were moist with crispy skin. The steamed BBQ pork buns were fluffy, with the filing not having red dye. The pan-fried chive dumplings have a very thin, crispy wrapper with lots of chives. The fish porridge was very good, with the right consistency. However, I would not recommend it for young kids because the chunks of fish have bones. The har gow has crunchy chunks of shrimp with wrapper that does not fall apart. The Portuguese egg tarts have a very flaky shell and right level of sweetness and not great at all.The restaurants interior was spacious with a nice atmosphere. We got there around 11:30 on a Sunday and waited for only 20 minutes or so for a table for 10. They have plenty of large tables to accommodate big parties. Theres ample parking spaces in the parking lot.

2023-04-14 09:34:47The whole experience here is very welcoming and the staff are all super attentive to our needs, especially the manager! They are fast and efficient and always ensured our tea pot is filled.The food is amazing, with special mention to the coffee ribs that was so crunchy on the outside yet tender to bite into. And having geoduck sashimi here is also such a great find! The ingredients used were all so fresh and the dishes well seasoned! Every dish was an experience in itself.The toilet here was also very clean so the entire experience is just super amazing! Would definitely be back again for delicious dimsum and hearty gatherings!

2023-11-13 20:19:04When I am up in the Bay area this is one of the spots I try and hit. There are a number of Dim Sum places up there, but this place is consistently good with a good selection of options. The line can get long so go early or plan to wait. Prices are reasonable, restaurant is acceptable and the service is good. They do have the ability to accommodate larger groups. We typically go with 8-10 people and its not a problem. A really solid spot for good Dim Sum.

2023-10-02 09:16:28The veggie, prawns, squids, fried noodles all lack Wok Hey which is key for dining in Cantonese Cuisine Restaurants as it is difficult for one to get Wok Hey at home. The shrimps and squids are flavorless (same as many Asian restaurants, they must have tenderize these sea food with something —- perhaps baking soda and make them flavorless, tasteless). The fish and duck are so so —- nothing special.Plus, they mandatory added 18% service charge on top of what we ordered. that is fine. However, since service charge is mandatory, then tax amount is calculated as 10.25% x (Total order + service charge) instead of 10.25% x Total order.In the attached receipt, tax 24.55 was calculated from 239.54 instead of 203.I would not recommend this restaurant for dinner if you really want good Cantonese cuisine with Wok Hey.

2022-06-20 17:03:10Best dim sum and service. Pricey and worth the cost. The mango puddings are the best. The shrimp rice noodles (ha cheng) here are the best I have ever tasted. The noodle is thin (a good thing) and filled with large, plump, fresh shrimp. The variety of dim sum is amazing. There are carts that go around the restaurant and you can order the items off the menu as well. Expect a long wait especially on the weekends.My family and I have eaten at Koi Palace for dinner several times and each experience was unbelievably great.

2022-08-16 05:30:14One of the Koi Palace in Dublin.Over here, you could have some up scale authentic Cantonese food.The place is a bit small. The distance between tables is not that spacious.The service is decent, as long as you wave you hand, you will get response, better than the Milpitas branch.For the food, it is a bit on the salty side in my opinion.The presentation is pretty good.The portion is medium, running to the edge of small.We had the eel clay pot rice. The rice is a bit wet, usually, and it does not have the eel flavor, it is more of the sauce.The abalone is decent in side, if the sauce a touch thinner, that would be wonderful.Please remember to check the itemize receipt before you sign your name, as they have charge 18% gratitude and did not mentioned that to you. So don’t double pay on tips.The 4 of us cost about 700 for a total of 8 dishes.

2023-12-07 14:50:39Service could a bit better although understandable that theyre usually packed. However, I really enjoy the food here - its Cantonese so the taste was mild and good. When I think about it, I even enjoy the food at Koi Palace more than when in HK at times.
