Ezdihar the Seamstress she does the alterations on my trousers, jeans, and Chinos ! Love her work and skills she does the very best hemming and tapering just to perfection! I have went to tailoring shops in the vicinity from Upland to Cucamonga but Ezdihar beats them all no doubt! The staff at Kona Cleaners are all friendly and helpful they know me and my particulars and they come through for me 100%! If you need your pants tailored Ezdihar is the Woman for the job! I found a treasure here and luckily for me it is close to my home. Look for yourself in these photos. The chain sewing is off the chain (pun intended).

First impression was very positive. I love the professional atmosphere and attitude from the staff. The seamstress did an excellent job hemming my pants. The digital aspect (text and email) was also a pleasant surprise. You dont normally get this level of service from a dry cleaning establishment. Good job!

I just recently moved into the Rancho area and looked for a local cleaners. I found this location and decided to bring in a couple of my dresses based on the reviews. Wow am I disappointed!! My black dress is ruined in the neck area the stitching is completely off. When I first picked up my dresses I noticed it was off and it looked different so I called and spoke to Rosa and explained what happened and I asked if it can be fixed and at first she said, they werent reliable for the damage, but I told her why wouldnt you fix this when it was damaged under Konas care?Fast forward.... She told me to bring it in so she can take a look at it, so I did. I arrived, she had a attitude and told me it was the materiel (The material is great quality in my opinion) that some times things like that happen and its a dress only made to be worn a couple of times. Than she proceeded with telling me What is this like a $40 dress from Zara? Excuse maam are you insulting me in front of other customers? I mean, even if it was a $5 dress (Its my dress!) it was ruined in Konas care and should be fixed. Ive worn this dress many times and have token it to other cleaners and I have never had any issues. She also told me to take it back to Zara that they should fix it. Now why would I do that when it was ruined here?!After the overwhelmingly excuses and her trying to justify how it happened and basically saying my dress is cheap... she ends up sending it to the Claremont location because her seamstress was going on vacation. I just got my dress back today and Im still not happy with it. Its still considered ruined when its not returned in the original shape it was when first brought in. Even though they tried to fix it, it was a poor job and I had to voice my experience.Taking your clothes to the cleaners should be stress free and the least of my worries. This was very stressful! And now I can never wear this dress again.

Kona Cleaners is TOP KNOTCH! I have been using the same Kona Cleaners for probably 15 years now…Never had a problem with any of the services. Everything is always been on time, But that’s not what makes KONA cleaners the best. What makes Kona Cleaners top-notch is Rosa! From day, one Rosa remembered my name, and has enthusiastically greeted me every time I walked through the door.It’s so nice to have such good customer service in this day & age… She is so friendly, bubbly, and always has a smile on her face!Recently, I took in my daughters prom dress to be altered, Rosa made sure her dress was done in time and even ahead of schedule!! The seamstress, who also is amazing, such a sweet lady, has done many alterations for us before and always does a perfect job!We are thankful and grateful to have such wonderful people at our local KONA dry cleaner!!Great job! Great service from Kona Cleaners in Fontana. I had a broken zipper on my purse that I was close to getting rid of. Ezdihar did a great job of repairing the zipper and sewing my purse. Do not come here!!! I went into this location to pick up my daughters first communion dress since I received a text that the 2 items (dress and vail) were ready for pick up. I was immediately charged then handed a dress that was NOT mine. I tried getting a refund which was not possible because a manager wasn’t there. They were finally able to get ahold of someone who said they’d process the refund “tomorrow”. I wasn’t comfortable leaving the store until I knew where my items were. They had no answers... It was impossible to get ahold of their manager Rosa to give me an answer. I’ll be there first thing in the morning to talk to this Rosa person to get to the bottom of this. My daughter was brought into tears thinking her dress is lost. They have most definitely lost a customer as I will NOT be returning after this and you shouldn’t either! I’ll be back with an update.Update: I went in first thing this morning and was able to talk to Rosa. She was so kind and knew exactly where my items were. However, I will not be returning as this caused stress as if I’m not already stressed with a major event happening this weekend. This should have been the last thing I was worried about.

Been coming here for years, even though i come super sporadically. They always know who i am, name, face, phone number, and even my kid (who rarely comes in with me). They always do a great job, and if you’re not satisfied, they fix it immediately. The staff are ALL super friendly and have all been there a really long time. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Don’t come here for alterations. They messed up my bridesmaids dress and cut the inside lining shorter than the sheer front of the dress. they told me they were going to call me before doing anything to fix it and they didn’t. They never contacted me and had to go in to check what’s going on. I went to the store and They added a piece to make the lining inside longer again and match the front which will look stupid for the wedding. I had no time to buy another bridesmaids dress and also the dress is sold out. I showed them pictures of the original dress that both the front and inside lining is the same length and that they messed up but no I have to wear this dress that looks stupid for the wedding. Paid $76 to alter my dress incorrectly and corrected incorrectly, the dress is $160!!!!

I’ve completely switched over to Kona Cleaners. The speed at with things get done is impressive. The quality is good as well, not the best dry cleaner I’ve had but just what I need. I started out going to your Fontana, CA branch who service was by far the best of all the Kona’s I’ve been to! The Eastvale/Ontario Ranch location I currently go to is good as well. Everyone is polite and I’m never in there for more than 60 seconds. Also, my clothes are alway done early! Finally, I went to the Orange, CA location. Not very personable but even when they were busy, they got me in and out. Clothes done early! Overall, good business model. Need to expand into other States

KONA’S MONTRA IS “WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE”I’ve taken my clothes to Kona Cleaners for a little less than a year and was happy with their service.I decided to bring a brand-new designer shirt in for specialty cleaning. Considering how delicate my Burberry garment is, I expressed my concern and was told that Kona offers couture cleaning which is extremely gentle and meant for high end brands.After picking up my item, I noticed the buttons on the left sleeve were shattered (the material they are made from is Mother of Pearl). Upset with this, I went back to complain. I was informed by the store manager Rosa that they would fix the issue. However, it would take up to 6 weeks. This was unacceptable, as I planned to wear this to an event which was imminent.I investigated Burberry’s repair service and went out of my way to take my item in to get it repaired ASAP. Kona’s General Manager (GM) informed me she would send it in herself, but I did not feel comfortable as it was damaged under their care previously.At Burberry, I told the representative that I would like the replacements to be match the current set of buttons (quality, design, and material). They informed me that they would do their best. Upon picking it up 1 week later, I saw they were unable to fulfill my request (not Burberry’s fault), and instead replaced the damaged buttons with what they had that was most similar. Anyone within apparel industry knows that it is the nuanced things like this that really make or break a piece.I reached out to the store manager in hopes of settling this civilly. She then forwarded me back to the GM. During our phone conversation, the GM again offered to take my shirt to Burberry to replace all the buttons so it would match. I told her that was unacceptable because it is not OK to try and settle this by replacing the set with buttons of cheaper material such as plastic. She then asked what can be done to rectify the situation. I informed her I would like a replacement (I am happy to let them keep the damaged shirt).She informed me that Kona Cleaners does not take responsibility for damaged hardware (buttons, zippers, etc) and are only responsible for tears as it is not financially feasible. Everything they’ve offered beyond the service is just a courtesy. She also assumed the buttons were made from plastic, which I corrected her by referring the website which indicates the material of the shirt (Item Name: Burberry Check Silk Georgette Oversized Tie Neck Shirt).My assumption thus far is that the proper precautions were not taken to ensure the protection of my clothing before putting it into the dry-cleaning machine. I discovered it is common knowledge within this business that dry cleaners should evaluate the type, rarity, and fragility of the buttons (particularly ones made from MOP, Corozo Nut, or etc) and then take the necessary steps to protect them like wrapping them in heavy aluminum foil or specialty designed Velcro covers. The best cleaners will even go as far as removing the buttons before the process and re-stitching them in after cleaning and press. Again, due to the level of negligence at Kona’s, I firmly believe Kona did not take these steps.With all things said, we did not come to an agreement. I am unfortunately now having to pursue resolution by working with 3rd party labs like the DLI to assess damage as well as consumer protection agencies to file complaints. I am also speaking with a specialist in reviewing the CA Laws on Drycleaner Obligations regarding hardware responsibility.

I am brand new to the Kona cleaning traditions. Having come from an old school cleaners, I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around all the options Kona’s got. They offer free delivery and pick up, which will be my go-to just for the ease of it, but I hadn’t set up my account on the app (they have an app!) to get that service, so, for the first time around, I was notified on my phone that my shirts were clean, and then, basically all I had to do was pay through the app before arriving at the shop, and they had the shirts ready for me to just grab and go without waiting in line. Simple pleasures, but so relieving after a long day. If you’re new, look for Cecilia. She was super helpful, friendly, and thorough while running me through their operation. Her enthusiasm made me excited. And, of course, you’ll want to know that my shirts came back looking exactly as I wanted them to. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

Big thanks to Ezdanart for doing an alteration to my motorcycle jacket. Being full leather, I called multiple places to see if they handle mild alterations. Fortunately Kona Cleaners helped me out. I had a super nice sleeping beauty costume I needed altered since I had gained a little weight. Ezdihar assisted me in altering the dress by hemming up the bottom to be the right length and adding that material to the back. You would never know it was altered, she did a fantastic job of making sure it looked like the dress was just made for me. I’m super happy with how it came out! And I’m so excited to wear it for Halloween. The staff is super friendly and definitely hype you up when you try on clothing! I will definitely use them again for any future alterations!

I called over the weekend to ask if they could do alterations on a bridesmaids dress they told me to bring it right in and they would do their best to have it done when I needed it, which was July 29th. I usually have no complaints with their service, unfortunately today I have to state my dissatisfaction. I took in a wool and silk blend hand beaded oversized scarf/wrap to be dry cleaned and to have one of the loose beads secured. I picked it up yesterday and when I took it out of the plastic immediately noticed the texture and overall appearance was not the same. The item had been washed not “ dry cleaned”! The fabric had an uneven gauze like texture, the fringes were twisted and crinkled and the item had shrunk considerably! This was a beautiful soft and smooth ( silky) texture oversized scarf that was an anniversary gift from my husband and now it was ruined! I noticed that the claim ticket stated “dry clean polyester” this was neither dry cleaned nor polyester. I am very upset that the proper care and manner of cleaning was not taken and now a sentimental garment has been ruined. My husband informed me that he originally paid 300.00 at Neiman Marcus and he’s quite upset as well.

Rosa was very quick to respond/answer phone calls and any questions I had. I had never been to a dry cleaner before and was embarrassed of bringing in a potentially ruined custom suit, after a weekend of too much fun. She was very professional, kind, and personable. Her service just as equally highlighted how well Kona dry cleaned the suit and a couple dresses I brought in. I did sign a form because the suit was 100% wool which made me a little nervous, but I wouldnt hesitate to come back. The suit looks brand new! (: Their turn around time was ahead of schedule too. Dropped by for the first time to get my sisters dress dry-cleaned for an event and they were awesome! They created an account for me when I dropped it off and I got text alerts when it was ready. Super nice staff, average prices, and quick service. They are located in a plaza with other stores, restaurants, and a gym so parking can be somewhat limited during peak times (especially due to the new gym next door), but its not a huge issue at all in my opinion! Plus, they deliver so if you dont want to deal with parking you can always opt for that. We will definitely use them again in the future.

I was looking for a dry cleaner open on Sunday, and there was none in my community. I went out of my way because Kona was open. I was greeted with courtesy, respect, and appreciation…more than I was ever greeted at a cleaners before. I checked my garments in, and asked about the turn around time…TWO days! I was expecting four or five. I go to pick up, and I’m expecting a heavy tab for the services provided…less than half what I expected. Kona exceeded my expectations in all aspects, and I will definitely return here. Thank you so much Kona!

I took some pants in to get hemmed up and a couple zippers fixed. Rosa was very friendly and helpful. I got an email and text informing me my items were ready (1 day earlier than promised) and I was able to click a link in the text wen I was on my way to pick up to have them ready and waiting. I was very happy with the service convenience and quality of work and the pants fit great. Thanks!
