Dont judge the exterior facade by its appearance. 😊I thought it was just a typical Japanese restaurant, but when we went inside, I said, wow, this is a great and cozy place to eat. Food was great. But I must share, I still need to taste their ramen, just my mom. I ordered a bento (I dont have a picture, unfortunately).But, I loved everything. Will be going back.

The cutlet ramen was flavorful, the broth was what brought Al the flavor together, the chicken cutlet in the tame was crispy and juicy. All the roll was good and tasty. The atmosphere felt like in Japan. Couldn’t have had for a better experience.

I think we have finally found our favorite sushi spot (and they also serve delicious ramen).The quality of the fish is very fresh. The presentation of each plate is neat and done with great detail. The service of the staff is very attentive. Had a very lovely experience and I will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu. Enjoyed some rolls, salad, ramen & crispy rice w/spicy tuna. Loved every morsel.Clean bathrooms. Quick service. All and all, very pleased.

All of the food were great, well maybe for the ramen. Were going to biased because weve been to ramen specialty places. The ramen were cooked differently within the 3 bowls that we ordered. Loved the Kumamoto oysters. The highlights are the sushi. Toro just melts in your mouth.

Their teriyaki chicken had creative presentation and the sushi was fresh and beautiful! Service was attentive and sweet would definitely come back~ not a lot of korean influence on the menu, however the same cant be said for the music and ambience! We got the baja cali roll add lemon, gyoza, rice, spicy edamame, and the teriyaki chicken. Everything tasted excellent.

I recently found this location in garden grove. Fullerton location is always a big wait. This location opened last summer. Will definitely be going here from now on. Ordered the black ramen signature. It only comes in large size for $12. Great appetizers here.

I’m from the Central Valley, on a trip south to Disney for my birthday. Stopped by here because I’m always in the mood to try put different ramen and sushi spots. Went in for ramen and ended going with sushi. Holy heck! Best sushi I’ve ever had by far!!!!! Fresh food! Melts in your mouth. I tried the ex girlfriend roll for giggles of the name and it’s soo pretty! Definitely worth taking a trip down south for Kopan again! Will be our to go place every time we visit!

The pricing is great for the amount. I ordered a bento box with sesame chicken, baked salmon sushi and salmon teriyaki. Both of the salmon dishes were wonderful but the sesame chicken was extremely dry. I also ordered the Tonkotsu ramen soup. The broth was delicious however I was disappointed by the noodles being hard. I told the waitress and she asked the chef to make another bowl but it wasnt much better. Overall I recommend coming here to get the sushi.

First time at Kopan and I really enjoy their food. The lunch option is the best deal because you get a nice bowl of ramen, your choice of gyoza or sesame chicken. On this day, there were 4 of us and we got their lunch special Tonkotsu Ramen (12$), and their Kara Miso Ramen (12.95$). The Ramen was pretty good but didn’t blow me away. The noodles were cooked nicely and the broth had nice flavor. I felt it still was missing something that could have taken it to the next level. It was however very satisfying and we all left full and happy. The service was great and I thought the prices were very reasonable. Will for sure come back when that urge for Ramen returns.

We run into this place by chance. We entered an other restaurant, saw the interior and left. This Japanese place is culture-rich and one of the waitress is really cute! Enough said, I recommend box(combo), you get three entrees, rice and miso soup, see attached picture for reference.

I was invited by my daughter to this place. Ive never tried ramen before. We ordered quite a few things and I have to say I was impressed with their sushi and I did like the ramen, I will probably try other ramen options, but there will definitely be a next time. The decoration of the place was pretty and minimalistic.

We tried coming here for a second time after our first time experience not being so good. We arrived at 9:32pm an apparently last call is at 9:30pm so we were turned away which was unfortunate. Our first time the food was good, but the experience wasn’t the greatest due to really slow service even when the restaurant wasn’t busy. The server made a couple mistakes and took a really long time to correct. If you come here, just make sure to show up before 9:30pm

I went yesterday, was nursing a hangover and i wanted ramen. I got the crispy calamari rings, and a spicy miso with a hot green tea. It was during the day, maybe 1p, only 5 other people in there so the place was calm. The food was great, hot and yummy. Hit the spot. Theres a boba spot next to it and free parking lot.

They close at 9-30 not 10I love kopan ramen but particularly this store ruin my experience many times. Today I ordered beef appetizer. They bring salad with a couple pieces of meet. I requested to redone it as its pictured on the menu and also amount that they usually deliver .. got rejected said its 6 oz and we dont care ... Secondly my ramen had 2 pieces of thin sliced pork ... Instead of regular 3 thick ones.. come on, its cheap pork just put more meat .. the kitchen killing me eveeytime. I would recommend to avoid this store

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have 5 stars. I’m having this for dinner as I review and let me tell you, the Ramen with chicken is out of this world. The best ramen soup I’ve had. This is now my favorite ramen soup place. My whole family loved the food. The environment is so soothing. The customer service was great even when it was busy. Our food came out on time. I loved it. Please try this for yourselves. Our server Peter was great with his service to our table.

Kopan did not rise above. It was an ok place to eat. Big mistake was the tempuras were pre cooked in advance then served so you get chewy texture in rolls. Sushi quality was ok also. They also had this tomato ketchup sauce with one of the sushi, that is not a good combo. The ramen was warm and ok, nothing great.

I’ve been to Kopan Ramen before, but I ordered through Uber eats. Don’t do that. Everything was raw upon arrival. Tofu wasn’t cooked. I don’t know if it’s a ghost kitchen that made the food but very disappointed in the quality. Gyozas weren’t cooked either.

Food is good but the service sucks. We were sat at a dirty table that had the last partys trash on it and Wasabi stuck on it. Getting a staff member to pay attention to us once they finally brought the food felt like we were causing an enormous imposition. We had to beg for utensils, ginger and soy sauce plates, one of which still had wet Wasabi on it. We never saw a server again while we were eating. Once we finally managed to get someones attention and ask for the check, she literally threw it on the table and walked away. They were not busy and I think I know why.

Im a nervous wreck with social anxiety, I had ordered from this place before via Postmates but the service fees (from Postmates) were insane, today I decided Id make the drive over the restaurant myself. I had hoped theyd have a self service kiosk like some ramen places in LA do, unfortunately they didnt but it was ok I think the server realized I was anxious and was very accommodating. I asked to do a to go order and she handed me the menu, went off and did her job, left me to take my time and go through the menu. She waited until I looked up and just as I was about to call for her she was already ready to take my order. She told me I could sit down while my order was prepared, said it would take 10 mins but felt like less. While I waited I took in the environment, it was very calm and peaceful and welcoming, not brightly lit and very spacious. I think its a restaurant that I could eat at on my own and not feel too anxious about it. Food was delicious, I ordered a build your own ramen with fatty pork, large, mild, and added egg and chasu, as well as a ribeye rice dish, and a side of rice. Got home, food was still warm, had fun opening all the containers and digging in! Still have some leftovers and Im looking forward to eating them later! Will definitely be back! Maybe next time Ill dine in!

First time here. This place has got to be one of the worst ramen places out there. I came here with family, ordering a bowl of ramen each, along with 1 to-go for a roommate at home, with all 3 being the customizable type. Following our order where the server even wrote the order down properly, one ramen was brought out 30 minutes later and my own ramen was brought out after an additional 15 minutes. To make matters worse my ramen was not even correct to what I ordered. There was no hot spice seasoning on the side which was recommended in the menu if you werent sure what level you could handle. However I never got that. There was also no ramen seasonings you traditionally see at other ramen places either. I told myself everything would be okay as long as the ramen tasted good. I was horribly wrong. The ramen noodles itself tasted like they had been prepared quickly to save time. Not only were they still stuck together in a big lump after attempting to separate them.. But some parts were not even soft! After finishing both our ramens we then proceeded to call someone over so we could pay. Again this took an additional 16 minutes JUST to get the bill! However, we got the wrong bill for someone elses table for some reason. After getting the correct bill, I checked it over and it was charged correctly gladly, all 3 ramens accounted for! And after we waited for a good 5 minutes with the bill ready, someone came by and took our form of payment and then I proceeded to ask for my to-go order which I ordered in the beginning. The reply I got was Yea, its coming out right now. So then we waited another 20 minutes for it! But it never arrived. Finally I had to raise my hand and ask about where it was. And then someone came by and was questioning whether we even ordered the to-go ramen! I cannot believe this type of service here... The receipt clearly showed everything and I was even charged for it as well. Finally, after waiting another 7 minutes the order of to-go ramen was finally brought out. No apology was ever issued to us for these terrible experiences at all. I will never be back at this place, a place which clearly cares more about speed and profits rather than quality and customer satisfactions.

My partner and I are vegetarian so we tried everything veggie friendly on the menu.The veggie croquettes were just fried mashed potatoes served with ketchup. Maybe one piece of corn in each oneThe veggie gyozas were very blandThe shashito peppers were good but has some kind of mayo type sauce on them??My partner ordered the brothless noodles without the pork - they wouldn’t let him sub pork for veggies or mushrooms so we had to pay extra. They were terrrrrribleeee! If you’re into really peanut buttery noodles, like even more than Pad Thai, then sureI ordered the vegan ramen (level spicy) and it was bland - basically spicy water. The veggies in it also had no flavorI don’t like writing bad reviews but I owe it to all my fellow vegetarians/ vegans - I have had good vegetarian ramen and this ain’t it chief
