2023-11-25 06:49:05It looks to be a historical park with scenic views. This can be a place you can spend the day with family and friends. It is so peaceful and has a vast beautiful ocean view. I recommend this place if you’re looking to just hang out for the day, a nice walk in park, sit and take photos, and enjoy a beautiful view. Make sure to get a close up look of the friendship bell and read the story of the friendship bell and how it came to be here. There is plenty of parking space and there is no fee. The local people are nice and friendly.

2023-11-04 16:42:10A must see. Beauty and calmness. Plenty of grass to set up, picnic or chill. The wind on top of the mountain is perfect for flying a kite. Dogs are allowed, just clean up after them please. Theres a pretty cool outdoor basketball court. The grounds are kept up pretty well. Very impressed.

2023-10-05 06:13:07One of my favorite spots we visited while in LA. The views from here are amazing and I bet a sunset here would be epic.It was overcast when we stopped by but that made it easier to enjoy our picnic and walk around without overheating.Perfect place for kite flying (see video) as it is super windy and very open.

It’s really well maintained and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The story behind this bell is also really interesting but I will leave that for you to experience on your own 😎I’m truly glad I visited here, will definitely be back to bring family when visiting the U.S

2023-10-31 00:48:36Great area for picture taking. Enough space to wander around and explore the area. Korean friendship bell has some interesting history around it. Parking can be quite tricky so come early to avoid waiting for parking.

2023-09-07 23:08:01Its a beautiful Korean style monument! In addition to it, the park has a basketball court, walking paths, and at that height, the view is incredible🌅I was there in the evening at sunset, in such moments you realize how beautiful nature is 🙌🏼If you decide to go there in the morning or in the evening, dress warmly because there is a very strong cold wind and its easy to catch a cold🤧

2023-11-03 20:23:45Definitely worth going! One of the best historical monuments in town and the view is amazing even with the fog. Was very easy to get in and out of and you can spend as much or as little time as you want there. Plenty of grass space and there is even a playground for kids.

2023-05-15 14:27:46Absolutely gorgeous park with a beautiful commemorative bell. Completely unplanned, but the best find in South Bay the day we visited. The detail on the building itself is gorgeous and well maintained. The bell is enormous!Families were flying kites in the wind, enjoying sitting on the grass in the sun, and taking in the ocean view. Family friendly place to head - we even got lucky with an ice cream truck on the corner.Parking can be tight and was very full when we arrived. Recommend going earlier in the day before it gets packed.

2023-06-26 15:32:22Beautiful bell and pavilion “made in the traditional Korean style” according to the informational plaque. The surrounding park is nice with good views of the ocean and Catalina Island. It’s quite breezy with the cold pacific air so consider bringing a jacket even when it’s warm.
