I have been a huge fan of Korean cuisine and this restaurant offers authentic Korean meals. I went here twice already within two weeks, ordering spicy pork belly and black bean rice cake with veggies and chicken. Both of them were delicious! The pork belly had depth spicy flavor with easy-to-chew texture. It came with boiled crunchy broccolis and crispy-outside and soft-inside gyoza. The black bean rice cake was my fav! The rice cakes were chewy soft and fun to munch with thicc flavorful sauces. AND the side dishes came in quite some variety and they were done well! Crunchy bean sprouts, my fav was mushroom in red sauce, seaweed, and garlicy kimchi. It also has iconic Korean snacks and all the Buldak spicy noodles. Definitely worth it to dine in and shop!!

We have been meaning to eat here for a while. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a really relaxing atmosphere and patio.I will say upon entering the restaurant, the floor of the kitchen area was very dirty. The entire restaurant also smelled strongly of Fabuloso, which was not very pleasant.The food itself tasted better than it looked. The plate was a little messy, with sauce on the rim. The chicken cutlet was tender and flavorful, the rice was slightly over cooked to me, but the veggies were a nice fresh touch. The garnish dishes were on the stingy side. Prices were more expensive than I would have wished for a single dish.Service was a little slow but there were only two people waiting on several tables, so it is understandable.

Honestly, this isnt a place Id recommend, especially if youre after authentic Korean food. Its a fusion spot, and there are definitely better options out there. We tried the short rib, and it was both pricey and not that great. The presentation seemed fancy, but the taste didnt match up.Im usually pretty generous with my reviews, but I cant say this is a good choice if youre looking for delicious food. On the upside, the atmosphere is pretty nice overall, making it a decent option for a date if youre not too particular about the food. The outdoor seating, in particular, is quite charming, with a little garden under the tree shades. Thats one thing theyve got going for them.

We enjoyed another great lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. We had the bulgogi bento and the pork cutlet curry. The bulgogi was tender and had an excellent smoky flavor. I enjoyed the miso soup. The pork cutlet curry was very flavorful and was presented thoughtfully. The service was prompt, considerate and friendly. We always enjoy dining outside here.

Ate my food before I thought to leave a review so no photos of the meal but the spicy pork and spicy pork belly bento boxes are delicious! Super cute restaurant with a cozy ambiance and friendly staff. The outdoor patio has such a relaxing vibe. Can’t wait to come back!

This restaurant is simply one of the best Korean restaurant in the Bay Area. The food is very authentic and also the environment of the restaurant simply reminds you eating in a typical Korean market as it sells various a Imported Korean drinks, dessert, meat sauces and premade food. It encompasses on different styles of heat and meat with prices that are relatively fair. They have the best side dishes and for those that have and enjoy a typical spicy palate I recommend the Spicy Rice Cake and Chef seafood Tofu with rice on the side. For a hefty meal with loads of meat I recommend The Dupp Bop and Doshi-Roc with Bulgogi and Spicy Pork Belly. However the highlight of the dish was the Galbi-jjim (Braised beef short ribs)

Food overall is mediocre. Expensive bento box price! Ordered miso chicken and chicken was dry and average in taste. The atmosphere and service is good, but the food is not worth coming back.

Stopped in for a late lunch and ordered the simple udon soup, Bulgogi bento box, and seafood silken tofu soup. The flavors were great on everything and we were all so full.

Food here is just amazing. The ba-chan ingredients are all very fresh. Spicy ramen comes with a variety of vegetables, and you can add protein you like. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try Korean food (or good food in general).

This would be the second time weve come here and we really enjoyed our experience. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to bring in our corgi (pet friendly) as we sat in the back patio area. We ordered the cold buckwheat noodles (very refreshing after a hike), chefs seafood tofu stew, and the pork and cheese cutlet. All dishes were delicious as well as their rotating side dishes! We also got some drinks (Korean iced latte, aloe iced tea, and honey iced tea) all nicely flavored and not too sweet. Looking forward to our next visit.

Delicious, homemade Korean food that tasted fresh and extremely flavorful. We really loved our Silken Tofu Stew and Naengmyeon (Cold Noodle Soup.) The banchan was excellent as well; and they have a huge selection of homemade banchan and other products available for purchase. We sat outside on their nice little back patio. Friendly and attentive service. We’ll definitely be back!

Ideal spot for a private party! We just had a multi-family dinner celebration for 20+ in their back patio area and the staff made it a lovely evening for all generations. The garden setting was sheltered from the wind, lit up nicely with lights and our own graduation decorations hanging from the beautiful trees. The service was top-notch (thank you, Jordan!) and the food was delightful, stimulating the taste buds in new and different ways. They accommodated us efficiently with separate checks and, overall, the experience was very affordable, especially considering the memorable night they created for us. Dont order the miso ramen, its worse than what you can make at home, tastes sour. Dont order the tofu bowl, the vegetables were super salty. Were really surprised this place has 4.8 reviews. Tha food is not good and the portions are small they charge a lot for bad quality food!

Wow, did we miss something? We went with friends on a Tuesday night - one said the cook must be different from the last time I was here. It wasnt that Korean Superette moved into Rivolis old space (one of our favorites), we so wanted to like this place, and I dont like to bash a new restaurant - but - the food was mediocre, at best, too heavy too sweet, nothing special or sublime. The chairs and benches are not comfortable, table was sticky as was the floor. Best thing was the lovely waitperson. Hopefully some changes can and will be made - until we hear that, well take a pass.

Great new spot for Korean food on Solano! Curry Ramen, Palace Rice Cakes, and Kimbop were all fantastic! Only wish it wasnt rainy so we could sit in the lovely back garden. All the staff were so friendly and nice. My teenagers were able to stock up on their instant ramen noodles while we are visiting Grandmas house. Cant wait to visit again when were back in Berkeley!

I went on their opening day and was immediately impressed by the thoughtfully designed interior and artwork (made by one of the staff). Their rice cakes and tofu stew were perfect and the service was very friendly. The restaurant also had various prepared foods, snacks, and pantry items available for purchase. A bit pricey - I had a bento - for what you get, 1cup of rice some pickled veg and the main, spicy pork, was extremely fatty to the point i had to pull inedible sinue out of my mouth. Went here with my grandma tonight. Shes a local and eats at a lot of places around town. She gave her approval and even said shed be back! We both had the bento box, and it has so many amazing flavors. I know when I go back home (out of state), Ill be craving this place. Staff are very friendly, and theres a market to browse as you wait for food. I will definitely be recommending this place to others I know locally.Pro-tip: If you dine in and plan on shopping in the market afterwards, you can take your goods to the front and pay for the meal and the goods in one go.

Came here with my partner on a whim and had a delightful experience.The best way we were able to describe the experience was “like being in a family friend’s home.”The ambience (back patio especially!), the food, and the service (hospitality may be a better word here) are all understated in the best way possible. It feels less like you’re at a restaurant that’s trying to sell you high-dollar meals and more like you’ve been invited to share in a set of lovingly curated foods.The banchan is some of the best I’ve ever had. We got the bul go gi bento and the vegetable curry. Both were seasoned in a way that reminded me of home cooking and were as tasty as the were nourishing.We left feeling delighted with both food and experience. Coming here is like being briefly in a different world. You really need to try it to understand.

Wow! Delightful setting, both indoors and out. Their back patio is really charming, under the trees and with some planter boxes around. It feels really secluded from the bustle of Solano.Playful inside, with the shelves stocked with a bunch of Korean products like instant noodles /ramen bowls, BTS cold brew, homemade kimchi, Korean teas, etc. Their food is a perfect blend of using good ingredients, and flavoring those ingredients with a bunch of savory flavors to make it all super tasty, without being over salted or over flavored.And the service was very friendly and welcoming. You can tell it’s run by people who care, and who want to invite you into their space, whether to hang out and chat over an iced matcha latte, or share a meal of ramen and bento boxes and tasty rice bowls with people you love while surrounded by greenery.

Delicious! Tender, deeply flavored bulgogi. I visited for the first time yesterday and learned that they just opened up 2 days ago. Happy to be eating in this beautiful space again. It’s a casual spot in the old Rivoli location. The layout is the same - the dining room in the back still overlooks the garden with those huge windows, but they have added in refrigerators and shelves for their Korean food market: meat, kimchee, noodles, etc are all available for sale. Highly recommend!
