Best Korean BBQ ever.The foods are fresh. The services are great.However, sometimes it takes a long time for them to bring the dinner items that you order to the table and they limit only 3 small items every time you order.Also I feel like they do not have enough staffs to run the business. Only senior (elderly) staffs working whenever I come.

Came here after a trade show for lunch and wasnt disappointed. The selection of sides was more than I expected. They were very tasty and plentiful. The selection of meat were present, beef chicken, pork and squid, all were very tasty. The staff was excellent. They were very attentive to our needs, they offered to refill out drinks and swap out our grill without having us ask to do so. I would love to visit again when Im back in the area.

So yummy! Great experience. Delicious food, excellent staff & service, and a great variety. The marinated calamari & the plain pork belly were my fav! Great sides too! The radish kimchi, the fish cakes, seaweed salad, potato salad & more were so delicious. Price was great too! 10/10 I’d go again! A little crowded but honestly we see why!

This place was very nice, I dont mean the atmosphere, but the FOOD ! Wow ! It is all you can eat for 29.99 with different varieties. You must go here, at least once..Things I didnt like:-A little too crowded-too much smoke- not enough room at the table to put your dishes.Overall, it was quite the experience for me. My SIL, who is Korean, really enjoyed the food.

Expect to wait times for weekends. This restaurant is always lines up. There is check in book. Services is good. You should be smoke friendly. A lot table grilled at the same times, exhaust fans cant work enough. Anyway, me and my husband loved this place.

Even with Covid this place is able to accommodate its customers. Been coming here for over 10 years. Theres certain meat you now have to order on the paper, but they still have the same usual food available out. Price is very reasonable and staff is always accommodating. Write your name upon check in with your phone number. No one is allowed to wait inside so wait outside or inside your car. They dont take reservations.Parking is sometimes not the best so park on the street. Dinner gets busy.One thing to note the floors are a little slippery I noticed certain shoes make it slippery. Women pls take caution if you wear heals with no grips.Its more of a family, friends, and also student vibe...not a fancy restaurant its a nice chill and comfy vibe. Its literally across the Tyler Mall and the AMC Theatre. Thats a plus so you can eat before or after the movies.

Christmas dinnerThere is a buffet, and some waiters can also deliver it. Beef short ribs are delicious, seafood is good, kimchi grilled meat wrapped with lettuce is delicious, and the price is reasonable.

Good value. Overall a good place. They were pretty busy when I visited Friday night @ 8pm. The servers did their best, courteous and attentive.Meats were fresh. Kimchi and fish cakes well pickled/spiced. Tasty and savory beef ribs and spicy shrimps.You need to wear disposal gloves and face mask when going up to the buffet bar. Dividers in place between tables.Clean table, floors and walls. Range hood over the grilling table clear smoke out.

We tried this restaurant for the buffet style choices. We liked that you can choose your own meats, veggies and sides. The food tasted and looked fresh. We paid about 30$ a person. The staff was friendly. I would visit again but I would like to see more food options since the price is high.

If youre looking for a wholesome family dinner experience, this is it. Its all you can eat.!This place has become my families new to go spot for dinner. The kids get to cook their own food and pick out what they want. You get up, get your meat and sides, and come back to cook. You dont need to wait to be brought anything. You get the portions your tummy desires, lolThere is a variety of side dishes that you can order. If you want something different other than the variety of meats they have out, you can also order special types of beef for a little extra, but its worth it.I recommend the spicy tofu soup as a side. The flavor is amazing!. The cucumber kimchi is delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. Its clean but can get a little crowded. You dont have to ask to get your grill changed they have great service and periodically come to change it when needed and provide refills on drinks.There is also an ice cream machine where you can get something sweet before you leave at no extra charge.

Wow, just wow ! If you love all you can eat Korean BBQ, this is the place to come. The Kimchi was amazing and many side dishes as well. The Bulgogi was fantastic and the Galbi was really good but the rib part was a bit chewy. But again most all the meats are amazing. The staff are great to answering any of your questions and very friendly. Definitely will come back here again (:

04/22/21: Just reopened for dine in after the covid shenanigans. Price still the same. But one thing change for sure. We cannot served ourselves anymore. We have to call the server to order. I miss the serve yourself deal. I still recommend this place for everyone who wants to eat Korean BBQ. Food still so good.First time here and i like the place and the food. Eat all you can place. You get to pick your own choices of food to cook yourself. Friendly staffs. Price is reasonable with all the food you can grab. The food were delicious and tasty. This place is hands down the best KBBQ I have been to. I prefer this than the bigger chains such as Gen in Corona. The wait times are not as long and the best part is that you can serve yourself. No need to wait in between rounds! They have very delicious choice of meats. My favorite being the Galbi (short rib) and spicy pork!

Wow! This place has it going on! The meats and various items to choose from are nothing short of plentiful! Seafood, beef, pork, chicken all covered. Fresh veggies, salads, even some desserts. The thing I really like here is that you go up buffet style, grab your plates or bowls, load up your items, then cook them at your table. The other larger and fancier Korean BBQ place here in the area rations things to you, you have to tell them what you want and they bring it... Just slows down the whole program, not to mention is a pain. Not here, oh no!The server kept checking on things, swapping the grille for a clean one, and never made us feel as if it was time to go.. Not that we went crazy, but they dont have the same mentality as say All You Can Eat Shrimp at Red L, or rationed the meats and such like the other place. Just get what you want, but dont be wasteful, and youll have an incredible meal.

This place is a great deal. You get great quality meats and the service is very attentive when it comes to replacing the grill. I think they would benefit from having a trash can outside their restaurant. A good number of patrons seem to throw their mint wrappers by the entrance, sidewalk, and grass on their way out.

Dont come here! You get direct retaliation if you say or complaint about anything. The squid was raw undercooked. Its extremely overpriced. The male owner came over our table, we told him what was wrong. Minutes later the cook was directly starring at me in a bad way. They have security cameras they can totally verify it. Once we went to pay we simply told the owner we didnt feel comfortable.Dont come here, we CAN NOT recommend this place. This place will retaliate against you if you complaint about anything. We told them the squid was not well cooked, a little raw, the owner came to our table and said it was fully cooked even tho it was clearly undercooked. After that the cook came out of the kitchen and was looking at us, our table super mad. In this case the owner broke the anonymity of customer. He shouldnt have not told the cook [her] who complained, but he did and she was starring at us which made us feel very uncomfortable and not welcomed at all. Unfortunately I would never be back here and will pass on the word to friends and family to avoid coming to this place. It was my brothers bday celebration and they definitely ruined it. Horrible service!We would like a formal apology/refund for how they made us feel, the female cook starring at us is totally unacceptable, thats very immature and unethical of them.They also subcharge a 8.5 % percentage in your total, plus the tip which is separate.They shouldnt be doing this, is not a clothing store is a food place.

Hi,We wanted to go dine there but when we got there we saw your notice in the door. I hope everything is well.Because i was very desperate for Korean bbq we ended up going to another place on Central, am sure i dont need to give you their name.Any how, it seem like a good chance to broaden my bbq experience but boy was i wrong.For starters if i wanted to eat delicious short ribs (because really why else you want to eat anything else) we had to pay the so called king price of $30 per person.I dont mind paying for food as long as its worth it.... so am not cheap, but as soon as saw the servings and the quality of the food i knew i was in for a rude awakening.I ordered my usual sides, lettuce (none available) pickled cucumbers (none available) for the kimchee i was brought the serving of what seem to be a single bite, so i asked for more. I also asked for onions and jalapeño pepers to grill, just to be served aged items that were more likely from the day before.I was trying to stay calm but when i saw the rice, it was literally the bottom of the pot, it even had that bottom film.I noticed that my burner was not really doing the job, and the meat was not cooking fast enough ( after eating at your place and living in Korean town most of my childhood you could say i know how to cook the meats) it turned out the gas tank was empty so they had to change it.The kid that brought the meats spilled raw meat juice all over my arm and hand, the kid that was fixing my grill flipped over myKimchee all over the menu, and another kid drop the meat so hard that almost spilled raw juice all over my food.The meat, well, spicy chicken and beef, not really spicy, short ribs were not seasoned enough and out of two of the portion one was not eatable because it was mostly fat with no meat.The so called cali meat was plain and so the spicy beef.Over all, i had a mediocre experience that cost me a lot more than what i pay at your place.The cherry on top was that there was no fruits or any desert as part of the buffet, and at the end, the tip was already charged.Why am i telling you all this? Because it reminded me of why i am super loyal to you guys, even more than LAs.I have been going to KG for the last ten years, my daughter has grown up in your tables, with James (i think) carrying her around the restaurant and making her special chopsticks when she was three yrs old.So thank you, thank you for your quality of food, your quality of service, and your quality of everything.Knowing the sad state of service at these commercial overpriced cold bbq places i want to ask you to keep providing us with such good food and culture.I hope everything is ok and hope to see you guys very very soon.Thanks a million,Jonas Chavez

I was there yesterday 7/ 29/23 with my family the food is great. but it was 86’f plus inside we were all sweating while eating it felt muggy and humid inside we were on table 20 we told the waitress if he can please turn on the fan/ swamp cooler that was next to our table and he said sorry it doesn’t work.

Mad good food! If you want a place to get bbq food and eat right away this is the place to go. There is many options of food, appetizers and vegetables to choose from. I grew up going here when I was a kid in a highchair with my parents and I will never forget about the owner. I remember when I was very young, he came to our table, showed me how to make noodle soup, lettuce wraps, and orange ice cream. Me and my parents would go at least once a month. Years later I found out my boyfriend also grew up going there. So we go here quite often now days. We love the food, the people and the owner. My boyfriend wanted to impress his uncle by taking him there with us and sure enough he owner came to our table, showed his uncle a few of his ideas like lettuce wrap, soju ice cream and a few others. Not only did his uncle have the best dinner, he will always remember the owner and it took me back to my childhood. This restaurant will always be my favorite. And the hardest working owner will always have an impact on my life. Thank you for being such a great restaurant allowing friends and family to unite. And thank you for being a wonderful owner.

Whatever you do, do not mix any raw meats with veggies on your plate, even if its all going to be cooked together at the same time once you get to your table...theyll scold you like a child and make you dump your plate! No recommendations were made for guests new to Korean food or unfamiliar with this way of cooking. Honestly, the simple soft serve vanilla ice cream was my favorite part anyway. Had to find someone to refill a drink at our table... And then they only refilled that one persons glass.

I went here for several years now. The food is still great!! Its all you can eat! So pick your meats carefully as I tell you your eyes may be bigger than your stomach. I am into the Beef and spicy squids. Also grill onions are great as well with the meats. Get a sauce tray to dip your food in. Tempura fried vegetables are also very good. The staff is fast and friendly. Ask if you need help. This restaurant can get very full at times so come early or be ready to wait.$$$ The food is worth the price $$$

This place is hands down five stars! The service and food is outstanding. Servers are always on alert for all of your needs. Great quality be cuts of meat. I recommend the beef spare ribs they are phenomenal! Very tender, moist and flavorful. I love bringing friends to the Korean Grill BBQ. Of you have a chance for the 15.99 lunch special I recommend you make time on your lunch you wont regret it. The only real complaint that I have is that they try to replace your grill frequently. Then I have to re-season my grill and I lose all my heat, it effects my cooking process. Other then that 👍👍 hope you have enjoyed my review and found it helpful.

My family and I have dined here since moving to Riverside in 1989. My kids now adults, have started their own traditions by sharing the KBBQ experience with many of their friends.While they have a variety of beef,pork and chicken ready to grill,bulgogi beef is an alltime favorite selection. Check the wait time before you go and reservations are highly recommended for large groups.

Best Korean. BBq Ive had. Its a bit expensive costing about $26 with a drink. You pick your own meet hometown buffet style. Lots of other buffet choices available. Make sure you cook your food all the way and take it out with your chopsticks once its cooked. You dont want the raw juices sending you to the restroom.

Great as always. Its a it pricey on the weekend, at about 22 bucks per person, but they have kalbi and brisket coming out as fast as you can eat it.The real kicker for me is the all you can eat green muscles, which I think are only dinner and weekend menu. Hey have always been a favorite of mine and they usually cook them perfect, I usually put down at least 20 myself. You sometimes have to wait a bit for the next batch, but they dont mind if you ask them about the next batch.

Please never change. I never write reviews about any restaurant, so this is my first time, but it’s for a good reason. This restaurant exceeded my expectations! The food was amazing, the fact that we can serve ourselves was the best thing ever. We can choose to get as much or as little as we wanted, but we had to write a checkmark on a piece of paper to get the premium meats; that was not a problem though because of how fast the servers were. Another thing I found great about the servers was how kind everybody was. They helped so much and they made sure we were all happy. This was the best Korean bbq I’ve ever been to and I will certainly come back. Please never change the concept of this restaurant because there aren’t many like it, and it almost sounded too good to be true!

Me and my sister always comes here. The staff is so friendly and they charge the children price by the age which is awesome. It is self serve, so you get up and grab your meats and the waitress sets up your table with all the condiments. The food is delicious and lots of flavor. This is my 2nd place I go to if I cant make it to my first place. Overall I would highly recommend this place because the food and the staff.

This is our second time visiting. Love the buffet style so we can pick out what we want. Highly recommend the teriyaki pork and Korean beef. Service is good too. They were very prompt with the replacement of the table grilling pan.

Absolutely love this place, never misses. To have some authentic Korean tea, ask for borricha or oksusucha. It is barely tea or corn tea which is actually really good. Their kimchi is also very delicious. You also cannot forget the rice paper. It is a must!

Me and my wife Just moved to the area and found this place when craving Korean bbq. We use to get our Korean bbq fix in Korea town so we know good Korean bbq. Food is delicious and we love that it is self serve. No long waits for a waiter to come by and you can get the exact portions you want. Bathrooms are very clean too. Definitely will be our new spot for korean bbq.

Been coming here for about 4 years and i absolutely love it. Biggest draw for me is youre able to serve yourself for most regular items compared to other places where you have to wait to be served. Especially since staffing issues has been a major problem in most places recently.The meat is also very good. Ive certainly had my share of unappetizing meat at other K BBQ places. But this place is pretty simple and decent.The staff are pretty nice and stop by constantly to check up on you.The only thing to my annoyance is pricing is a bit high and had rapidly increased even before covid. But as stated, getting my own food instead of waiting for someone to serve me is definitely my biggest reason for returning.

In my opinion this is one of the best places around its the closest thing to koreatown in L.A. Ive been to other Korean barbecues like Gen but I dont like the fact that you have to order the meat and then have it brought out to you at this place you pick the meat yourself and they have a side menu that you can order from as well thats part of the meal. Overall this is a great place to bring family and friends. I highly recommend this place.

Been coming here for years. Wait times can be very short or very long depending what time you come. Due to Corona their menu is limited but you are still able to eat the main meats you find at a Korean BBQ. Service is great, might have to wave them down since it does get chaotic if they have a full house. My only complaint is that sometimes they dont keep track of side dishes that are out and may not be refilled the entire time you are there, but other than that had a great time eating till my guts pop out.

They changed our grill plate without us asking about once every 10 minutes and refilled our drinks before they were empty. So many options from the raw meat to tempura to assorted vegetables and soups/rice/noodles. My only complaint is the fact that there are only booths (no tables with chairs) so if you are sitting next to someone they have to get up to let you out to get more food. The hostess was so rude, she had 2 blond streak bangs, but the older male server is always a pleasant to have. I had a party of 16, I put my name and number down, 1st call, she showed me tables and wanted to split my party way apart and I told her no, she told me is was,impossible to sit us together. She then called again and I told her that my whole party has not arrived, she said ok, come in and sit and wait for them, I go sit; in person, she asked where my party was, I told her 10mins away, she then tells me she can not hold the table for us *with attitude*, embarrassing, everyone was staring, I informed her that I already told her on the phone and she assumed they were 5mins away, I told her 10mins and she just ignored me and walked away.

The service was not great. They charge you for refills you dont ask for. They dont tell you the price of food or drinks. They are unorganized and the labels are fallen off. Its not meant for big parties. The space is limited and they charge for the food you dont eat and they dont tell you how much it is until you get the bill. Food is delicious but Im not sure if its worth it. The chairs fit 4 people comfortably but not a party of 6 with 3 large guys. They had no bigger tables. After an hour of sitting there, it was also getting suffocating. There was no adequate ventilation and only heat and grill fumes. At other KBBQs, you have air circulating and A/C or at least some fan. Here, the air is still, you dont feel wind or vent suction. It gets hot and suffocating. If you can bear it all, then the food is good enough to come. Its a small KBBQ buffet with limited food but good service.

A tip for new comers, get started at once with grilling your meats & sea food that way theyre cooking while while you mill through your choices of sides. They are VERY expensive! My bf, daughter and I went there for lunch and arrived about 2:00. They said their lunch special was already over so we had to pay the dinner price. We ended up paying about $80 for just the 3 of us! They did have a good selection of chicken and pork. They had very little beef and seafood. They were out of A LOT of items like fried rice that took an hour to make and the “fried food” buffet was very skimpy with hardly any food in the trays(like tempura and won tons etc and it was all COLD! It was like we came 30 min before closing and all the food was gone! All the meat and veggies that WETE left was old and had been sitting there since the morning! Their “sushi” buffet literally only had 8 pieces of California rolls left, which in Asian culture does not count at sushi. No spicy tuna rolls, no raw fish sushi of any kind. We actually had to ask the owner to bring out more food to fill up the buffet and because none of the staff was paying attention to the buffers to make sure they were full or needed something and I had to pay $80 for the s%*&@?!!! The owner even came by to our table and “joked” with us saying that we were talking to each other too much and we needed to get more food?! Mind you, we hadn’t seen our daughter for 6 months and just found out she was pregnant. But get MORE food? What food?! The trays were all basically empty and we barely ate anything and we had to pay and put up with THAT S&@%?!!! If I could leave negative stars I would. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

Im actually gonna be here for my birthday with about 20+ friends and none had complaints once they knew I wanted to have dinner here.The food is great, and pretty fresh. It is a buffet so not much customer service is needed aside from checking up on your drinks and what not. But when it comes to customer service I personally think its great. They are very in top of changing out your grill if needed and maintaining your heat level or even going as far as cutting and/or cooking.your food.for you if they see you may be burning it or could use a little help.The owner is awesome, it seems like every time Im there he remembers me and he tries to show ne some new or traditional way to eat or flavor my meal. I appreciate the attention and him.going the extra mile for any of my needs when Im there.

I have been cooking here over 20 years. One of the original self grilling Korean Barbecue. I am assuming its under new management but the service is still good. Btw, Ive been to BTW, KB and for some reason you do not taste that awkward propane taste on your meat. Here at Koreana Grill, you taste the meat that youre cooking. If you dont believe me, go to your usual KB and when you get a chance, try Koreanas grill. You will see a big difference. Its possible that you or we have been eat some resins from the propane that got stuck on the meat or other food.Other than that, this is my go to places after hiking the trails in Mt. Robidoux.

Great service, great selection, and just all around better than most kbbq places I’ve been. I feel like the staff is just more attentive and personable, they keep the grills and buffet clean, it’s the only KBBQ place I’ll go to dine in.

They are open during Covid-19. It is still AYCE but instead of you get your own food like before, they now bring it out to you.Before you sit, they clean and sanitize the table. All utensils are placed in a bag on the table, sanitized and ready for you to use. There is seating outdoors. It is a first come, first serve no matter how large or small your party is. If there is a line, be expected to step and wait in line. Our wait was 40 mins for party of 2 this evening, and it was totally worth the wait. There is dinner and lunch pricing and you can pick and choose if you only want dinner selection (there are more options) or lunch selection. The selection they have is smaller but it doesnt the away that AYCE Korean BBQ experience. This is still my favorite place to come even during covid-19 especially compared to other ayce BBQ.EDIT TO ADD: we returned 2 weeks later and the service is still wonderful and the food is AMAZING! Yes, they are covid compliant and ensure that all dining experience is as safe as possible. I have noticed some who are coming for the first time or first time since covid. So if you haven’t tried Koreana before OR it’s your first since Covid, know that there is a line to stand in regardless of how many people are in your party. You are seated by your place in line and not by how many people you have in your party. Just an FYI before you go.

I love this place! Been eating here for a decade. It was the best little secret and has blown up in popularity over the last couple years. There’s never a wait though! They seat you fast and it’s the best service of any korean bbq place I have ever had the good fortune of eating at. This beats every korean spot in California. From Los Angeles to the Bay Area, nothing compares to Koreana Grill. I can’t recommend this place enough.

It was different. I expected a regular buffet where you just serve your self. Over all the food was great and fresh. They carry sea food, chicken, pork and beef. The problem was that i did not know what the heck I was eating or how to mix it. A lot of veggies I never seen and raw-prepared food that have no idea how to cooked them.If you are familiar with different types of veggies and meat than this is your place. Great place and environment but not for me. If I pay for food I want them to cook it for me and served me :)

Food was pretty good for the price, but the smoke from the table was blowing right into my face the whole time. Since I have allergies, my eyes were pretty swollen and had poured quite a lot by the end of the meal. I dont know if this is normal for a K BBQ restaurant, as it was my first time, but sadly it was enough to deter me from wanting it in future. Brisket was especially tasty.

This is the best Korean bbq i have ever been to, with absolutely delicious food and reasonable prices. Staff is super nice and brings you as many items as you want. Be prepared to wait because the line can get long to enter, but that just tells you that what is to come is greatness.

They serve you at your tables now with safe distancing in place. You still pick your choices of meat and sides. Everything is brought to your table. People were sat at tables, and spread out in between empty booths. Still loved it and enjoyed sitting in amd dining. Theres a line though to wait as ppl leave, they bring you in.

Lunch special 13.99. pretty good deal for the money. Okay selection of meats. The brisket and baby octopus were fantastic! They also have sushi, but when I went they were only serving California rolls. (If you can call that sushi)This is one of those Korean BBQ places where you get the meat yourself and bring it to your table. This was my first experience with a self serve Kbbq restaurant.All in all, no real complaints and I came out of the restaurant fat and happy. 🙃

Great spot to go to if you are craving Korean BBQ. I do like the fact that it is buffet style so you get up on 3rd of yourself the quantity of ingredients you want at a time. Downside to this place its not that big, parking kind of sucks if you dont get there and a good amount of time. Their lunch special is pretty great, dinner time is your standard Korean BBQ pricing. By far one of the freshest kimchi out there .
