This place was great for Korean food, i highly recommend the chicken wings they were so delicious. I miss Korean food and this really fulfilled my cravings. Lovely service family owned.

Excellent excellent excellent. My mom is Korean and it has been a long time since I have had really good Korean food. The food was so much like my mom’s it made me want to cry. The spicy pork was excellent and so flavorful. My daughter had the hot pot and also just excellent. The spicy chicken wings were crispy and excellent. All the little Banchan were also very good. We went for lunch and it was $100 for four of us. For the amount of food and quality, I find that excellent. I can’t even go to Red Robin and get out the door for under $100, so I would pick this place over and over again.We are only visitors to Travis AFB, if not, I would be at this restaurant constantly. Absolutely recommend you go.

Update July 2022: New owners but still delicious and authentic. I definitely still recommend. One of my favorite Korean restaurants.Delicious, authentic Korean! My favorite is the spicy chicken, but I also love all the side dishes that come along with the meal. Wonderful flavors and fresh foods, I highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for Korean.

우와 진짜 맛있어요! My husband and I (both Korean) came in slight hesitation - but optimistic. Most Korean restaurants have westernized their dishes due to availability of ingredients and palates. That makes it difficult to find real Korean food especially in Fairfield/Vacaville. We were very pleasantly surprised with the food here. The 반찬 (banchan/side dishes) were fresh and have great flavor. The main dishes we ordered (오징어 볶음) stir fried squid and (양념치킨) spicy chicken were so good! We really felt like we were back in Korea. We are very thankful and happy to have found such good comfort food! 잘 먹었습니다!!

We drove a ways to try this place and it didnt disappoint. Its in a strange plaza but as soon as we pulled up, we knew this was the real deal. We finished and ate everything on our plates because it was so good. I ordered the tofu soup spicy. I probably should have gotten mild because it was so spicy, my eyes watered every time I took a sip. But it was so good I couldnt stop. It had a depth of flavor unlike any other Ive had. My husband ate all his calbi. The banchan were all delicious. Service was friendly, fast, and I cant wait to go back.

I havent been this impressed with a Korean restaurant in a long time, let alone one in Fairfield!!! Whodve thought we would find such a gem. We ordered kimchi jjigae, pork belly, rice and had some rice wine. Everything was impeccable- presentation, freshness of ingredients, vibrant flavors, top to bottom a wonderful experience. Staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Compliments 🖤 definitely plan to return. 잘 먹었습니다!

Area looks sketchy but thats how every area next to a military base is like.I read the reviews and decided to check it out and I am glad we did.The food was tasty, authentic and fresh.We all liked everything we ordered (even my picky eater child).We ordered Kimchi Fried Rice, Ramen, and beef bulgogi and they gave us the typical side dishes which was more than enough. If you want your Korean food fix and are in the TAFB try this place. You wont be disappointed

Dude where the heck are we? Theres a Korean restaurant out here?--The things my friend and I said when we got out of the car. Honestly, I didnt think too much of Koreana when we first drove into the parking lot. Its legit in the cuts, in a very worn down, sketchy shopping center. But looks can be deceiving, my friend and I actually had one of the tastiest, authentic korean lunches here.While they do offer table top kbbq, which btw is not AYCE, we opted to just order the ready made dishes on their menu. We ordered the soy sauce fried chicken, the spicy marinated raw crab and the galbi jjim (braised beef rib). Let me tell you, each bite we took, my friend and I would look at each other and say, wow this is pretty good!. All the banchan had amazing flavor. The soy sauce fried chicken was crispy AF and while it was sauced, it did not get soggy. When it came to the table, I was worried it was going to be too sweet, but thank goodness it was just right. The soy sauce flavor came through. The spicy raw crab was excellent as well. Great flavor, spicy enough to have a kick but not too spicy where youre chugging water, and again--not too sweet. By the time we got to the galbi jjim, we were already getting full, but it was too good not to eat.The service we got was great! The place gives a mom & pop vibe and you can tell the workers really care about the experience you get here. The chef even came out to ask us how the food was and even warned me that galbi jjim is supposed to be sweet after I told her I dont really like sweet dishes. Side note: the galbi jjim was not as sweet as she made it out to be, it was actually perfect, the flavors were balanced and the meat was fall off the bone.Overall, this place is great. My friend and I met up for lunch to catch up. But I can tell you that we barely talked because we were too busy trying to stuff our face with Koreanas amazing dishes.

Absolutely love Korean BBQ and this place was pretty good! They give you a ton of food...so much that we took home enough for 2 more meals. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that there is a slight meat market type odor to the place when you walk in. I think that just comes with the territory when you store a lot of raw meat, tho.

Decent enough Korean food in a tiny mom and pop style restaurant right outside the military base gate. They have indoor seating and allow for takeaway also. Okay flavor to bulgogi meat but nothing to write home about. It came with more kimchi than the rest of the meal, which I can’t eat much of because most were too spicy. If you love kimchi, then it’d be your style! I found myself wishing I’d asked what it came with and would’ve altered my order if the menu had specified. Also white onions were raw which was too strong for me. I prefer when they are cooked/sautéed to take some of the sting away. The Korean BBQ steaks looked really good that I saw someone receive on my way out.

This restaurant is amazing and very authentic! Everything Ive tried on the menu has been delicious, especially the seafood pancake and hot stone bibimbap. The restaurant is clean and quaint-looking. The staff is very nice and helpful. It can be very busy so it might take time to get seated and get your food but I promise it will be worth the wait. This is a must if youre looking for authentic, delicious food and youre in the area.

If I could give this place a zero star I would. On mulitple occassions I have called ahead just to get to the store and my food has not been started. Normally I just take it one the chin but my experince today has been horrible. Once again I ordered ahead and they did not start my food. they asked me to sit and wait and I did. 30 minutes later they havent even strted my food. Then I asked for a refund and they wouldnt give me my money back and asked me to wait. I declined and told them that this has happened multiple times and I just want my money back. The woman in front tried to talk over me and put her hands in my face. after not backing down they decided to give me my money back. while this is going on in the back the staff is just eating . theres a lot I cna forgive, the being late and the questionable sanitation (ive seen working cough into their hands and coughing in the back ) but disrespect is something I cannot.

Best Korean food since Korea! I really missed original korean food and this place really has it. The side dishes are perfect and the kimchi is delicious. I recommend everything on the menu 😊 tho my favorite is algo (soup) galbitang. The lady that works here is very sweet as well. I wish the soju price was a bit lower. There is parking. Cheaper than other korean restaurants and there isnt any other around the immediate area not that they would be better.

I found my comfort food! Had the GalbiTang and it was the best over ever had. My wife had the vegetarian ramen plate. The staff was very fun, and helped me when I tried to thank her in Korean. The side dishes come out quickly while the main dish is being prepared. They are refillable. My soup was hot (temp) initially but quickly became just right. Quite a few pics of the ribs, some still on the bones. Didnt get a picture of mine or hers, I dove right in like a starving dog.

Nice little restaurant near Travis AFB. Each time we eat there the food is always good, service is excellent. The kids found things that they each liked, there was some experimentation too, but for their age they left happy. It could be a little rough if your kids are picky and not into Korean style foods... This wasnt our first time as we occasionally eat lunch here and it is just as enjoyable.

We had a family dinner here today. Small, cozy and clean restaurant. If youre a group with more than 5 people it would be better to call beforehand to shorten the waiting time (they dont have a lot of staff). The staff was super nice and helpful. There were plenty of freshly made side dishes. The variety was awesome. The food portions were big and delicious. I can not understand how people can say that theyre small. We all order different dishes and no one could finish his meal. We loved it and will definitely come back.

Wowza, so much banchan and very delicious, my favorite is the gamja bokkeum I think (honey braised potatoes). So, so tasty... aside from that have had the galbi, kim chi pancake, samgyeopsal, tofu stew, tteokbokki... nothing missed, it was all incredibly good and made me crave more not so long after I left! Great Korean food in this area for a great value is hard to come by. Rule of thumb about ethnic foods; if its near a military base its probably good! A couple of days ago, I had ordered 12 variety of luncheon special for today to go. I had picked them at around 11:30. They packed the foods in three catagory of to go containers; rice, meat, and the condiments, in total 36 containers. Therefore, none of foods were mixed with each other. I dislike very much when I picked up a to go container of food, ready to eat, finds all foods on top of each other. What I am saying is that THANK YOU and the food were delicious and services are Excellent!

I ordered bi bim bap and grilled fish. Got two large sole with six different side dishes. Bibimbap had good fresh vegetables with bulgogi and a fried egg. Good portion size of well prepared foods. It was way better than expected, and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. Recommend this place highly, and will definitely return again soon.

Was interesting experience. First Korean bbq for me. They bring out a bunch of small appetizers I believe included. My co worker gobbled them up but they werent for me. They were cold and mostly vegetables and such. We ordered the shrimp fried rice and spicey chicken which we split. The rice was excellent but by itself wasnt enough for the average man. The chicken was also excellent. The dishes were in the 12-13$ range.

I really like this place with the new owners. They have all you can eat Korean BBQ. The fried fish is so perfect, crispy on the outside tender fish inside. The food is authentic Korean Sol food.
