Absolutely amazing experience. Comfortable. Clean. Friendly. Great service. Cant say enough good things about this place. The food was so good. Felt like a hug on the inside when I had the ramen. Table for 3, we each tried something different and shared a taste with one another. 10/10 would recommend. Im definitely trying this place again when Im in the area (Im 4 hours away from this establishment).

Surprisingly decent considering this is not a high traffic area. Was worried the broth would taste like soup packets at first but was pleasantly surprised to find out that everything tasted fine.Soup was much lighter/thinner than traditional tonkotsu base but still flavorful enough. Noodles were al dente. Meat looked dry but soak it in the broth and everything will be fine.No complaints with food, service, or atmosphere, but also not much to brag about.

Seems like they just opened, tables not really set up but does the job. Friendly staff, did not wait long for food, my miso was okay, nothing Id crave. Their popcorn chicken was really delicious. Crunchy roll had too much rice. Wouldnt mind coming back to try their curry plates.UpdateTaste is consistent since last visit. Tried popcorn ramen. The popcorn chicken served on the side which was a generous amount. Fast and friendly service.

Really good ramen. The medium and hot spice broth was very flavorful. Noodles were snappy with good flavor. I had popcorn chicken and my wife had the spicy pork. Both proteins had great flavor and well cooked.

I was today years old when I had ramen for the first time.@kosukeramen didnt disappoint. To start I had a light, refreshing tofu salad, and spicy edamame. The edamame was so good, and packed with flavor. I also tried their popcorn chicken. It was hot, fresh, and seasoned well. Very yummy.As for the ramen, I had the tonkotsu cashu. The ramen itself was cooked nicely and to me it seemed like a very generous portion of ramen. The broth was okay, nothing special. I actually had them bring a side of the mild broth which I poured into my bowl and it made it infinitely better. The meat was bland and added nothing to the dish. I actually think it would have been better without the meat.For the most part, the food was good and Id come back again. Service could use some work. We had to ask for water refills numerous times (mind you its over 100° outside) and for our plates from appetizers to be cleared away.

This is a very relaxed and peaceful environment. The food was amazing; it was not over seasoned or overwhelming, and when full I did not have that nasty feeling in my gut. The server was calm and easy to work with, the food came fast and looked amazing upon presentation. The only thing I saw/heard was the main entrance door needs WD40 Badly!

We were in town having a family ice skating outing. My son was craving sushi and ramen. The food here was delicious, my son was very satisfied and happy. The staff here was very welcoming and friendly. The spicy popcorn chicken ramen was unique, highly recommended.

Its not a particularly amazing restaurant but it gets the job done if you want ramen. I came with my friends and it might detract from the experience that it was 90° eating hot ramen in a very lightly air conditioned restaurant. The service was friendly though a bit awkward. The restaurant was most clean though my friends said there were some particles in the water. The ramen was a good portion with a decent amount of toppings. The tonkotsu ramen was not bad but the black garlic oil became overpowering. I liked the potato croquettes that i ordered as a side addon. The popcorn chicken was okay. The takoyaki was on the smaller side. Overall not bad but nothing super notable.

Cool new spot. Good flavor. Its a soft open, so the selection isnt big. But the food is tasty. Not a lot of tables to sit in. Service is good and its prompt. The food comes out pretty quick as well. I will update my review when I go back soon.

First time eating here tonight and definitely will not be the last!! We had the house special udon, spicy tonkotsu ramen, popcorn chicken, chicken cutlet plate with a side croquet. Broth was super flavorful noodles were cooked perfectly. Chicken dishes were great also you can eat it plain with no sauce. Kids loved it. Service was great very friendly staff.

Best Popcorn Chicken Ramen Ever!!! I get Mild and sometimes Medium but Medium spice has a pretty good kick to it so if you are spice sensitive go with no spice or mild. Popcorn chicken comes on the side so it doesnt get soggy, GENIUS! The restaurant dining decor is pretty basic but who cares! Its all about the flavor anyway and they hit the bullseye.The original restaurant is in Alhambra and I am beyond happy to have one in Ontario. You have to try it!

Out of towner. Tasty medium heat popcorn chicken ramen and ramen set with gyoza. Very large portion, and best of all... taste like very little sodium is in it compared to others I have had across the country. Chicken was super crispy. Hope they do well as the sign still shows it being the soft opening. Minimum credit card requirements of bill having to be at least $20, only reason for the 4 star instead of 5. Glad I had cash with me

Summary: this rating is predominantly based on the kuro ramen with chashu. I would only recommend ramen at this time but am curious to see them improve on other items.Long version: This is a new place and I came during the soft opening with my sister. We ordered a ramen bowl each, as well as croquettes and popcorn chicken as an appetizer. Starting with the appetizer, it tasted fresh and came hot but after the ramen came in. Moreover, while it tasted fresh, I felt it lacked a bit of flavor... Perhaps some spices. Otherwise I think the amount you receive and the freshness would make this an excellent appetizer. It simply needs a bit more flavor. Having said that, when dipped in broth it is pretty flavorful. Moving onto the croquettes, they tasted fine although seemed a bit generic. Not bad if you like potatoes but they also tasted much better when dipped in broth.Now for the main courses: the ramen! I got the kuro ramen and my sister got the miso ramen. I tried the broth from her ramen and it was a bit too strong for my palette... Perhaps it was red miso? I personally prefer white miso and this did not taste like white miso... But she seemed to enjoy it, so thats just an unverified observation on my end.HOWEVER! As far as the kuro ramen goes... It was DELICIOUS. The noodles were soft, as was the chashu. The vegetables were bountiful and tasted good. And most importantly, the broth was just amazing. Im not sure what kind of magic they do with black sesame oil but the rating on this review is purely based on how much I loved this ramen. I would come here again just for the ramen (and indeed, until they manage to work on a few of their other items, I would only get the ramen...). Im actually very interested in trying their other ramen options, like the tonkotsu and spicy ramen.As a small addition, I also did have a milk tea to try it out and thought it tasted quite good. But the ramen is the star here for sure. Come here if you want good ramen in a location close to a mall and theater in the Inland Empire.

The ramen are good. I tried the spicy miso and also the kontatsu ramen. The Ontario location needs help in customer service though. We waited over 30 minutes for our food and the place wasnt even that busy. It also seems that they love rationing their napkins. We asked for some additional napkins and the lady bought back two pieces... For three people! The staff needs to pay more attention and step up their game.

Place was really big alot of open space to walk around..they have a drape literally covering the front door so you have to walk in and out through that which is weird..your greeted by a host and their sodas are not fountain drinks just cans so they charge for every can of soda you drink. The portion size is a small bowl and the noodles arent that great but it tastes okay. Restroom reminded me of going over someones house that didnt clean up.

One of those hidden places. I ordered a to go plate(popcorn chicken.) Theyre not shy on portions like other places. Their gyzoa is really good, you have that nice crunch but also juicy inside. I will be going again for a Saturday lunch to try some other things. Staff is incredibly friendly.

Fast, friendly, and attentive service. I would definitely recommend the pork cutlet curry, the pork had a great crisp crust while still being juicy. Gyoza was pretty good, hard to go wrong with those. Careful when you order the spicy Ramen, just the medium spice level got my nose runny, has a good kick. The milk tea was great and there are a variety of Japanese sodas. Would definitely visit again

This is the second time this week the food is great the only reason i only give it two stars was because both times our tables were dirty and no one came to clean them you have to request to get your table cleaned up before eating which shouldnt be the case specially with this pandemic also both times we noticed alot of homeless people were hanging around the area which is out of their control but at least sweep up the outside of the restaurant people dont want to eat around a dirty area.

We decided to come here after our reservation time at Benihana was busted. We started off with fried gyoza and croquettes. The gyoza was perfectly fried, not too crispy and the filling was good. The croquettes were ok but dip them into the sauce and theyre amazing. For ramen we got tonkatsu, vegetables, chicken, and popcorn chicken ramen. The broth was flavorful and delicious. Im glad we found this place on short notice. Only reason for not getting 5 stars is because of the limited seating. No pictures of the food because we were hungry but trust me you wont be disappointed.

Small size restaurantWe came here after watching Shang-chi and got to say we really liked their ramen, I got the Popcorn chicken and he got the Spicy ramen (medium spice is still pretty spicy) a nice kick though. I like that they gave you the popcorn chicken on the side so it doesnt get soggy with your noodles.Honestly I recommend you try it out.

Terrible and rude service, cheap ingredients. It’s basically ramen packet noodles with some thinly sliced cheap meat and a hard boiled egg on top. Throw some spicy powder and some salty broth and package it as a “spicy ramen”For 16 dollars for ramen I expect the same quality you get at real ramen places. This is basically Chinese take out food quality but changed to a ramen business model to overcharge. Either most of these reviews are fake or people here never ate at a regular ramen spot. Beware

Real good. Im a trucker i parked down street drove my electric scooter. When i got there it started to rain so they let me bring inside while i had dinner. Thanks for that. Staff very nice. The chicken katsu sushi seemed just a little expensive for the portion, but...maybe I was just hungry. If I compare to some other sushi place - including grocery stores - it is much cheaper, tho also a smaller portion. But it was also fresh and tasty. Eh. I think it was probably fair. I would definitely go again.During the pandemic they have a few outdoor tables and takeout.

Tried the one with the pork soup its super tasty. Only thing I didnt understand is why they put mayo on the California hand roll. Ive never seen that elsewhere and I didnt like it. Im not taking a star off because I guess thats how they do it and the ingredients where good. Next time I go Ill be sure to tell them no mayo on my sushi 😁

I was excited to see Kosuke Ramen opening up in Ontario, right by the 10 Freeway close to Ontario Mills, but then I read my review for the Alhambra location and remembered feeling a little disappointed after my second visit. Its been several years since that last visit, and seeing all the positive feedback from the Inland Empire area (and the never ending lines at the Alhambra location), I decided to give them another try.Theyre still in their soft opening - although the banner states grand opening soft opening. I suppose theyre working out the kinks. This locations menu is a lot smaller and they dont serve curry or cold noodles; its primarily ramen with some appetizers.Service was not the best. Possibly the workers are fairly new, but it took awhile before we were seated after several workers saw that we were waiting in the doorway. We also had to flag someone to help us take our order after sitting at the table for quite some time. Im also not a fan of their credit card check-out system. They use a portable credit card machine where the worker stands next to you to process the card - you have to complete the tip option with someone looking over your shoulder, which obviously provides a little bit of pressure. Tip option starts at 15% and if you want to input your own amount, its a bit of a hassle. I wanted to calculate the amount myself, but wasnt given the option.Popcorn chicken appetizer - it wasnt bad, and the price is very affordable for $4.95. They offer popcorn chicken as a meat option to ramen, which is different but if youre going to go with the chicken, Id suggest getting it on the side so it doesnt get soggy. We went with a mild spiciness to the chicken, which was pretty spicy. Chicken pieces actually are whole bits of chicken with not too much batter, but the chicken was a little dry in my opinion. My friend enjoyed this though, so I think its a matter of preference.I went with their Kuro Ramen for $9.95. Didnt want to order the same ramen as my friend and wasnt sure if my stomach could handle the fish flavor soup of the tonkotsu shoyu, so this was the best choice. Ive had black sesame oil ramen broth before, and this one was on the lighter side. Came with half an egg, black mushrooms, green onion, ginger, and chashu. Noodles were the yellow ramen, which I dont usually prefer but they were chewy tasted alright. Broth was a miss though. After mixing in the black sesame, felt like the flavor was just so salty. There wasnt any sweetness from the tonkotsu that I craved. Chashu was alright - sliced thinly and didnt taste as great as other more authentic ramen shops. I do think that the bamboo came from a can though.My friend ordered the Tonkotsu ramen for $9.25 - pretty much the same ingredients as the Kuro except theres no black sesame oil. We both really liked the broth - it was really sweet and flavorful, definitely one of the better parts of the meal that night; however, my friend was not impressed with the chashu - he said there wasnt a clean flavoring to the meat and needed to be cooked a little more. The meat wasnt as rich and tender as other ramen places we enjoy, and seemed to taste more like the Chinese BBQ pork meats - dry and without flavor. Unfortunately he had a hard time downing the bowl of ramen.tl;dr - I hope they expand to offer curry dishes. The ramen was just okay for me (and a miss for my friend). Pricewise though, the dishes are very affordable and you can also add specific items to your ramen for a cheaper price, which I think is pretty great. Dont think Ill be returning anytime soon.

It was good ramen. The broth was solid, but not too rich. Noodles, themselves, were not the straight variety (which I prefer) and were cooked more than I like (again, my personal preference). I had mine with popcorn chicken on the side. You can ask them for what you like, but it felt like that shouldnt be something I have to do at a ramen spot.The gyoza is VERY inexpensive when you add it onto a ramen bowl. Like, 3 for $1. I felt right at home, which is good.For traditional style ramen in the area, I think this is the best place to go. If you want someone more elevated, try Noods Bar, up the street.
