This place was good! Kinda a hole in the wall place that you would like the food but not so much the building. Food WAS great and came out quick. Huge selection of food. Service was great too. One of my new go to places now. Try it out! Pot stickers were the best!

Kowloon is as authentic as its namesake.Highly recommend the honey walnut shrimp and pork fried rice! My friends ordered the beef and broccoli and cashew chicken and they loved it.The service was also exceptional and everyone was so friendly even though we were a large party :)

This is one of our familys favorite stops. The service is outstanding. Friendly, Quick. Courteous. The food is reasonably priced and tasty. Fresh vegetables (including the mushrooms!)Cant go wrong.If you are looking for a ritzy atmosphere - this is not the place. If you are looking for phenomenal food - then you have arrived.Of note: my in-laws live in the Palm Springs area and are the penultimate foodies - and they love the food at Kow Loons.

Definitely recommended! Two of us went to this restaurant, ordered two dinner sets, but the food would be enough for 3/4 people. We took the full lunches we still had home, to take away. The food was served very quickly, it was fresh, hot and carefully served. The service was very helpful and polite. Ask for the recommended beef! We ordered two varieties, both were delicious! For such a set, in addition to your favorite meat, you will receive apettizer, rice or pasta, a large portion of saturated soup and a fortune cookie for dessert. The restaurant looks inconspicuous, but is definitely worth a recommendation. I’m very pleased.

The meal had fantastic flavors, fresh vegetables, tender cuts of meat. Only negative is we ordered a spicy dish and told them we want it extra spicy It wasnt spicy at all, spice would have made the dish amazing.

Me & my daughter have been coming here for years since 1993 & now my granddaughter is coming with us too! We really enjoy the #2 with crunchy noodles & she really enjoy the #3 & the whole staff is like family always a pleasure to seat us & to service us & always at 100+ percent! Really great selection of good Chinese food! I grew up in Hawaii and so many places blood red vinegary sweet and sour and overly thickened sauces. These guys got it right. Everything was tender and tasty and seasoned just right.

This is my go to Chinese restaurant whenever I want lunch or dinner. I love their specialty lunch combos and their group dinners. The building is a little old, but dont let that intimidate you as the food is amazing.

I’ve been here a few times and usually get the soft chow mein special with 14 shrimps or the honey walnut shrimp, both are amazingly delicious. I’ve always had good service here that can recall. Yes, the place might look old, but don’t let that distract you, the food here is Good, so stop on by and get yourself some delicious food. 👍🏽

There food is to die for! Ive eaten there so many times over the years and have never once been disappointed! It is so good its a reason for my family and I to get together and have a celebration and catch-up on good times! Whenever Im missing my mom real bad i call up Kowloons order a bunch of food and head over to my dads pretty soon my dads house is filled with laughter and the delicious smells of Kowloons it makes it feel like my mom is there with us!

In from out of town. I travel for work. I eat out alot.Biyan answered the phone and took the order. I have to say she is the best on the phones including anywhere across the country. So friendly, polite and patientWe got our order to go. The food was hot and fresh. A MUST GET is the bbq pork strips. They were cooked to perfection. So most, tender and flavorful. The pot sticker, chicken fingers and fried shrimp were great !!!The appetizers had generous portions. Great tastingOh, also, the hot mustard is not the cheap imitation hot mustard packets. You get the real, clean out your sinus’ hot mustard .( also a sign of a quality Chinese restaurant)When back in town I will definitely be back !!!!!

We recently moved to the area and neighbors recommended this place. We had a horrible experience. We don’t consider ourselves picky eaters but the whole dine in and eating experience here was less than ideal. Restaurant not very clean, dusty, cobwebs on light fixtures. Waitress had difficult time managing the amount of tables given to her- forgot our drinks, one plate came out fast, the other we waited about 10 minutes for. The sweet and sour sauce here has a metallic taste. Not at all what we are use to. Low quality beef in the beef and broccoli dish, very rubbery. Sesame chicken was not at all what it is suppose to be, it was breaded chicken pieces smothered in the sweet and sour sauce then sprinkled with sesame seeds. During dinner hours rice must be ordered separately, it does not come with the entrees. We did not know this so our rice came much later after we asked.Cook was cleaning/fixing? Bathroom in his apron. Just off-putting when we were sitting so close to the bathroom and trying to eat our food. Overall, very expensive for low quality food and dining experience. I’m not really sure why there are so many positive reviews. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Even though I just ordered take out and didnt even spend very much, the service was excellent. I mean the hostess/cashier kept thanking me over and over, Nowadays, I wait at grocery, retail, warehouse stores and restaurants,,, for a decent Thank You and almost never hear it anymore. This has got to be the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. Everything was bland, the deep fried shrimp had like a 1/2 pound of dough on them the shrimp was dry. I do not recommend eating here. Great service! The young lady who waited on us reminded us of our niece. Hard working and humble! Very attentive.The food instantly took me back to the old ma and pop places that I loved Soo much and find it very hard to find again!The rice was very flavorful and the fried food was fresh! I personally love Chinese food and this is the best place to go in Visalia. I have tried several in town, but this restaurant has the flavor and multiple options to choose from. I have no complaints about the restaurant and food. If she is available, request Angela as your waitress because she makes the dining experience very pleasant. She welcomes you and makes you feel like a family friend. I would say be spontaneous and ask Angela to pick your dinner for the night because she makes very good suggestions! Overall, positively I will be coming back!

The atmosphere here is very cozy. The ladies that work here are very kind and friendly. The food is some of the best in town! They have reasonably priced meals and huge portions. I have always been able to walk in and be seated within maybe 5 minutes. Its great food, great service and just an overall great experience.

The customer service is okay and the food is subpar at best. On more than one occasion Ive found a black hair in either the pork fried rice or soft noodles. I know it isnt my hair since mine is brown. Ive never complained about it because Ive only ever taken my food to go so by the time I find it Im long gone. I dont eat in there since the atmosphere of the place is pretty dingy and depressing. Maybe when this place first opened it was amazing but now, in my opinion, not so much. Needless to say Im done ordering from here since Im not a fan of finding hair in my food and my money can go towards better tasting food.

Excellence in every way... Food was spot on, like always.the salt and pepper chicken is always a favorite, and the Hot and sour soup is to die for. If you have not been give them a try they will not dissapoint you in any way. Super fast and friendly service. A hole in the wall you could eat there or take out the food is fabulous. Ill go there once a year or twice all depends on the mode my favorite dishes broccoli with chicken with fried rice or broccoli beef steamed rice mushroom beef over white steamed rice ask and you shall receive. Me and my daughter went to eat we sat down and ordered everything seemed normal we were extra hungry as we knew we were going there early in the day so we skipped a lunch. Anyways we get our food and it was cold not warm cold so we asked her if we could get hot food so she took our plates and microwaved the food making certain stuff more chewy yuk. But we were giving them a chance maybe was an off night. So we didnt eat much as it wasnt that good after being microwaved she brought to go boxes to our table we and this is a first didnt want to take home the left overs. So we were sitting there finishing our drinks when my daughter said mom look out there is a roach by your head that was it I was done we told them as I was paying to leave and no discount or free dinner after cold food and bugs I wont be going back

I believe its one of the better resturants in visalia for chinese food but everyones taste buds are different. I like it a lot and believe or hope that you will to. Sherina owner of this restaurant does a fantastic job providing great service and great food.Sherina is easy to work with if you have a large party. She is flexible and tries to accommodate you with the dishes that you want.At times she will have special Chinese vegetables and she will cook up something special if you are interested in ordering it.The food comes out hot and no matter what you order it is delicious. You can also tell her if you have dietary needs and she will accommodate your need.You are always served in a timely manner and if you go often enough she remembers what you like.I feel like I am treated like family when I go there.

Place is very run down. My son was brought a cup that had lipstick on it. We had a large group that was sat in a back room. The rooms walls had cracks in it. You could see outside. Ill never go back again.

Ive been missing Kowloons for more than last year. I lived in Visalia for 22 years, and moved away a few years back.
