I’ll give 5 stars because while the service was not good enough the food was really good. Good taste, good fish, good portion and still having AYCE. I know is hard for business earn the 5 stars, the place are not too big but still making their best. 😇🫰🏻

I value the great fresh food, but especially love the amazing customer service we always get with Josue! My husband are always be coming back for more!! Food was really good and the service was good as well. Kinda busy for a weekday at 6pm buy you definitely know why once you eat here. Its not the absolute best sushi spot Ive been too but its good. Will definitely be going back. Good items on the AYCE menue. Riceless options, meat, so many rolls, sushi is really good and they dont over do it on the rice. Good portions.

The food was great, but the service was terrible. The server waiting on us gave little to no attention and when he was talking to us, he didn’t listen. For instance, we asked for two trays with wasabi and ginger, he came back with one tray and a side of spicy mayo. Then they took forever to come back around to give us the check, I finally had to flag them down and ask for it. And when we left, there was no customer service whatsoever, just stared as we walked out the door.

Unfortunately gonna be the last time I come here. Ive been coming to this place for over a year now and I order the same thing mostly, golden tiger and golden California roll. This time around I could barely even eat it. The sushi literally kept falling apart when I tried grabbing it. Ill have the pictures posted but this was very disappointing guys. I dunno what happened but between this visit and taking my lady there for our date night after work. I feel like you guys have gone down hill a bit. (Date night the waiter gave me the wrong roll and kept trying to say it was a golden tiger. I sat there like bro Ive been coming here for ever, this is no golden tiger)

So upon the covid and riot. My mother sister and I decided to hit up this hole in the wall here in fontana. The service was great, but we we bummed we didnt get our edame salad we were promised. The bento boxes were a good deal compared to other places. Very flavorful, and for the price you defiently can get full. The staff is very quick and efficient. Defiently recommended this place to anyone who is in the mood to eat some Japanese food. We will be returning soon. Thanks

Koya Sushi has downgraded the quality of the fish they use. Also they use so much rice compared to months ago. So much rice hard to find or taste the fish in some of their rolls. I wont be returning, Miyagi still the best.

Went yesterday 01/07/23 with a friend and we were seated right away fortunately but unfortunately our service was underpar to say the least. We went for all you can eat and placed our order and waited much longer than needed for it, it was fairly busy but our table seemed to be ignored in comparison to others as we noticed staff being more attentive to the tables near us but not us, we were even given a roll none of us ordered and waited an additional 20 min for what we actually ordered. Left a really small tip in reflection to this service and we went because this place had good ratings and given this was my first time trying, I was left with a very underwhelming first impression. Maybe Ill try it again sometime just to give them the benefit of the doubt but this first impression will still remain.

Shrimp was soggy. The ingredients in the shrimp tempura roll didnt taste fresh.Usually authentic sushi places serve green tea but this place didnt have green tea or matcha. The calamari was rubbery af. Couldnt take a bite without pulling a whole tentacle out of the tempura. .Ive tried authentic Japanese places, but this place aint it.

This is my go to sushi spot. Their lunch and dinner specials can’t be beat! Two sushi rolls with miso soup for under $20. I love the lunch special #6 which has the caterpillar roll and the Las Vegas roll paired with miso soup. The staff is friendly and attentive and overall just a great lunch and dinner spot. If I want sushi there really isn’t any other place I think of to go to.

I always go to the super grocery store next door and never knew this place existed until I searched sushi in Fontana. I usually go to riverside but wow this place was really good and I love it’s so close to home. I got one of the rolls with salmon and I loved it. Definitely going back. It’s cute in there too.

Wanted something different so I thought Japanese food. I ordered a Salmon bento box, the salmon was cooked Amazingly well. Ive been to fish restaurants all over the inland empire and most dont know how to cook fish. The skin was crispy and the meat tender. Only thing I would change is having the teriyaki sauce on the side, it masked the flavor of the fish. The rest of the bento box was good, the service very good. Im thinking of heading there now, Im thinking of the Salmon writing this review.

Highlights: Great susshi, nice and fresh rice, sushi quality is excellent.Detailed review: never been to this sushi place before ive always had doughts about it but they did not disappoint the sushi was great in great portions with even amount of fish to rice. Initially, I was not expecting much as I overheard other diners commenting very typical Japanese restaurant. I was wrong! The udon was so delicious. It was fresh and chewy. The tempura is also a must. Loved how the batter was thin and crunchy (except for the shrimp). But my husband loved the texture of the shrimp tempura. Excellent customer service. I will definitely recommend this restaurant for those who are looking for authentic Japanese food in London and to noodle lovers.

The best udon and a huge serving for the price. Also the fried rice is delicious and flavorful. The tempura shrimp could use more seasoning but cooked to perfection otherwise. Also the dips make up for the lack of seasoning. This place has great portion sizes for your money. I definitely recommend coming here for great traditional Japanese food.

This is a nice little hidden gem. Great sushi with good presentation for the price. All you can eat sushi is decently priced and dolled out in 3 rounds, pacing is everything with, but if thats not your style you can overload yourself on round 1 like I did. Quiet calm and although the staff is a little reserved its not disrespectful or uninviting. Good place to enjoy good sushi.

Theres a lot of strangely mixed reviews of this place, so Ill say it was tasty for what it was and the wait staff was very nice and helpful when I was there with my family. I came here on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch and the rolls came out quickly and tasted good. Their all you can eat menu is substantial and a great value. Not high end sushi, but great for a quick, low-key bite. Their all you can eat menu also includes appetizers/soup/salad, which I thought was nice. Before 3:30 their lunch prices are very reasonable.The miso soup was good, but not mind-bending. They had a good selection of rolls without shellfish, which I appreciated as someone with allergies. They answered all my questions and inquired about ingredients for me no problem. Id eat here again, even though parking in the strip mall can be a little bit hectic.

This place is okay, right now they have their special rolls half price till 6pm. I like to get all you can eat because they have the coolest concoction rolls. The Pink Lady has strawberry in it and is really good. The Goodys roll has Mango in it, and the lemon love roll has lemon. My favorite it the Shogun roll because they torch the top of it . The salmon skin roll here is pretty tasty with all the Benito flakes on top. You will leave here full and satisfied.

First time here. The food taste great and fresh. Only down side was every bad service. It was pretty bad we walked in the door no one greeted us, or told us to have a seat or to wait to be seated. I had to ask for pretty much every thing twice. If the food wasnt so good I wouldnt go back. Also seems to be a hole in the wall type of place. It had alot of people for the night.

This is my 1st negative review as I am one of those who always try’s to find the light in the darkness. I just walked in to Kota Sushi and asked for a menu after a sudden immediate sushi craving. Immediately I felt that the vibe was all wrong. No customer service! One gentleman smiled but two others who seemed to be in charge could care less if standing in the room. Their service is great and they even preempted my allergies on the miso soup without me remembering to mention it. It was the best salmon teriyaki Ive ever had, a wonderful smoky bbq flavor from being grilled over an over flame. Their prices are really good, especially considering the portion sizes. We had no problems and will be going back hopefully soon.

I left a positive review before but I deleted it so I could leave this one.My husband and I used to order take-out from here at least once a month. However, since they reopened their dining room, it seems theyve been neglecting takeout orders... a lot.In May, we ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box for dinner. The menu says its served with Shrimp & Veggie Tempura, Rice, Miso Soup, Salad, California Roll (4pcs) ...However, I was completely missing my tempura, the salad had very little dressing, and the teriyaki chicken had virtually no teriyaki.I had never had this issue before, so I thought maybe they were having an off day. We ordered again last night thinking it would be better.I was wrong.We ordered the A: Chicken Teriyaki, California, Green Salad from their Dinner Special Bento Box section.Its served with Miso Soup, Rice & Gyoza...I was missing my Miso Soup. My Teriyaki Chicken had incredibly watery Teriyaki sauce. The sauce wasnt even on the chicken either. It seems it was poured into the container and then the chicken was placed on top? — My salad had no dressing again too.My husbands birthday is in a few days and I was planning on ordering dinner for him from here. I can excitedly say that our search is over and we finally found that great quality and tasty sushi weve been searching for. The all you can eat is the way to go. I would give this small spot an A for effort but B- for execution.Ive had the lemon love roll. There are other restaurants that have pulled this concept off well; tangy lemon pairs well with subtle salmon and sweet sushi rice. But here it is essentially a California roll with a bit of salmon and a thin mango shred. If they managed to make the flavors of the mango and lemon pop, this could have been a truly unique roll. As is, it feels as if they are tacked on.The sashimi salad is more sashimi on top of a bed of iceberg lettuce rather than a true salad. Thankfully, the sashimi is really good. It is soft and flavorful, and all 4 fish are equally delicious. Usually with an assortment, there are 1 or 2 that are good, and the rest are filler, but all were good. Hopefully theyll do something better with the salad part though. Maybe select better quality lettuce or add more veggies that bring out the sashimis flavor. The dressing was okay, but it just ran off the lettuce, instead of sticking around to lend some flavor.Even with the flaws, I would still recommend it. You can see how popular it is right away with a line out the door, and every seat inside filled up. I havent tried the AYCE since the opened back up, but I was pleased with it before.

The food is good, but won’t be spending my money anymore just for rude service. I ordered a meal for carry out via their website, and when my husband gets there, they don’t even have the order ready. They apparently didn’t have record of the order at all. My husband had to wait a long time for them to cook the meal from scratch. Not a big deal and I would have totally overlooked it, but when my husband brings the order home it’s missing the Gyoza. I call to let them know, and all they can tell me is that my meal doesn’t come with gyoza, when it’s clearly on the menu that is posted on their website. They tell me sorry that their website is wrong, and after a little bit of arguing they finally agree to provide the gyoza. Then the woman hangs up in my face. Is it my fault your website is wrong? Horrible customer service. Will never eat here again, and will advise everyone I know to do the same.

Food is not great. Steak was very tuff and over cooked. Chicken was unlike any other chicken Ive eaten before, stringy, taste was unrecognizable. I thought about have it lab tested to find out what it really was. One time they gave me tiny pieces of shrimp and vegs. I complained about the portion size and they replaced them. You have to ask for Wasabi and Ginger. It should come with your meal. One thing that always gets me. They play rock music. I told the owner that the atmosphere would be better if they would play oriental music so they put in TVs.

Couldnt be Happier.My best friend and I usually love going for Japanese food everywhere, but this place is special. It may look like a more casual place to eat, but these people actually give you amazing food and service. The fish is fresh (especially if you come early), plus they offer everything from American rolls, to nigiri, to harder to find delicacies. For the high quality and nice people the all you can eat lunch special is incredibly cheap (about the same if you went to a lower end all you can eat buffet), and with their selection you are guaranteed to leave full! If I were to point out favorites, definitely the lemon lovers roll, sushi burrito (texture is to die for), and the quail egg shooters (loved em so much I ordered 4). Please do not judge this book by its cover; the pictures dont do it justice. Eat Here!

Koya sushi is one of the best all you can eat sushi in the area, and when I mean area, I’m talking about all of Southern California! There are some places in San Diego that offer similar quality AYCE, but as far as as taste, Koya sushi beats them. The place is small and cozy, never too crowded, though the service can slow down a bit when packed, yet the wait is worth it.

Think this is my new favorite local sushi place that offers all you can eat. Sushi/ sashimi is of good quality, and staff seems friendly enough. Only down side is that the place is a bit small, so capacity mirrors exactly that; when the place is full, you either have to wait a while or change your lunch/ dinner plans.

Not very good roll. Very plain. Had syrup on it. Sweet. Kinda like rolls you would get from market like stater bros. Premade and drab. The salmon skin salad was pretty mediocre and kinda gross. Made with a bag of premade tossed salad instead of the good lettuce. It isnt any wonder why it was 6.00. Very cheap. Warm salmon pieces added on top. Made the lettuce warm. A weird spy sauce dressing was given. It wasnt good. And it was oily? Ever had warm oily lettuce. Usually with salmon skin salad they just use skin and its not warmed. Miso soup was good though. Dont know why so many good reviews. Maybe these people havent had better.

I was skeptical about going to this place because of the surrounding areas but once you go inside, you can already sense the authenticity.They have a large menu of sushi and other foods like udon or tempura (which are very delicious) and its around a reasonable price. Everything was nice and fresh; the soup was warm and went down easy, the chicken or steak they give you in the bento box is more light than the meat they serve you at other places, the waiters tend to you frequently.I have yet to try the all-you-can-eat since I cant eat that much fish but this place is the ideal for get togethers with friends if you dont want to be too formal (like at Kabukis). Its a good after-school hang out. This place is what sushi lovers have been needing...~

Great sushi spot in Fontana . Not too expensive . Love the crunch roll and the popcorn lobster roll. The seared tuna was good . It’s a small spot with very few tables but they do have a bar as well you can sit and order at as well. I usually sit down at a table but it was packed this time that I went . Would recommend if you are in Fontana . Cheaper than Omokase which is in the Sierra lakes area also cheaper than Summa sushi which is in the Summit Fontana area.

A good place to get your sushi fix! The prices are cheap. I usually get the Bento Box. The Spicy Chicken and it comes with 4pcs of California Roll and 4pcs of a Crunch Roll. It’s good portions and great deal for $10.50. Obviously if I want to get the best sushi I’ll go to Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo. But this place will do the job!
