Pad See Ew (My go-to Thai favorite) was excellent! I had my tiny with me, so I requested way less than usual spice only at #1, but we both loved it. Theres also Sriracha at the tables to supplement. Our server was so nice talking with us and speaking so kindly to my daughter. I requested the taro milk tea, but they were out of Boba, so I will have to try next time. I was charged for it anyway, but she gave me one without Boba when I noted it. Parking may be limited, and the strip its in was a tad rough, but Id definitely eat here again! There are only 3 tables, so you might end up taking yours to go.

Really good food. Flavors were on point here. The papaya was a little fishy tasting. The red curry was good too. We came here on Super Bowl Sunday weekend. There was a long line. They do not provided sit down dining so to go orders only. My order took about 30 minutes so it took a while to make.

Ive ordered panang curry here twice and both times it was delicious! Big serving comes with chicken bell pepper and carrots and is just spicy enough. It also comes with a side of rice that is warm and made just right. Friendly, quick service, for pick up orders. The outside of the restaurant doesnt look very nice but Ive peeked inside and it looked very clean.

Please note that there is no dining-in at this location.The food is delicious!! I love their Panang Curry, Drunken Noodles, and Pad Thai. The only bad thing is that they dont always bring the same amount of vegetables and meat.. sometimes the amount is too small, no matter the time that we order.Other than that, this place is great. We come here very often and always recommend it!!

Uber driver delivered to wrong address for my 1st order, had to physically picked up in store on the 2nd order. When the owner heard that, she is very considerate and offered complimentary. She is extremely nice and their food is super yummy. This will be my only to go Thai food start tonight!! Highly recommended.

This is a small, cozy restaurant that does dine in and takeout. There is a parking lot out front.We came here for lunch and everything was great. The lunch includes a salad, soup, egg roll and wonton that are all vegetarian friendly. The Pad Thai, Pad See Ewe, Panang curry, and drunken noodles were all delicious. Be wary of the spice, level seven was super hot for a spicy food fan.

I think this is the best spot to have Thai food in Chula Vista. Love the customer service and the food is super delicious 😋❤️ been coming back for Thai food on this place for years now, I totally recommend trying the chicken pad Thai and one of their currys all of them are delicious. Just be sure to let them know how spicy you want them, we usually order between 5-6 were Mexican 😂 and we love our spicy, flavory food 😋❤️❤️❤️

One of the best Thai restaurants in the U.S. Ordered some of the usual Thai dishes but was definitely surprised with the taste and quality. The Tom Kha also came in a hot pot similar to how they serve it in Thailand. Will definitely come back again whenever Im in town.

This was my first time ordering here and it turned out to be a huge disappointment. I was so excited because they offer so many vegetarian options and I dont eat meat. I ordered online so I didnt have to wait for my order, I could just pick it up. That worked out horribly. I highly recommend DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. I could say they food is great, but the service was not great. I ordered my order online at 7:14pm and did not receive my food until 8:14pm. I watched many different people walk up and order and they all got their food before me. I had informed them I ordered online and told her my name and she told my 5 minutes and I was fine with waiting 5 minutes. I had arrived about 23 minutes after I placed the order. I waited well over 5 minutes and watched a bunch of people get their food before and I asked again and they just had found my order at this point and realized it was never put in and they had to start it then. I was furious, I asked if I could get a discount or something for wasting my time. The lady gave me a small discount, she gave me $11 back on a $50 bill. They offered me drinks, but I dont drink caffeine. They offered a milk tea and never gave it to me. I dont know if my meal was supposed to come with rice, but I didnt get it. This was a pretty terrible first experience because of service only. The food was okay, not great.

We ordered Cheesy Crab (Rangoon), Pad See ew with pork, Fried Rice with chicken and Tom Kha Soup. To be very honest, we did not like the taste of the food. The Pad See ew was thrown away. The chicken in the fried rice was extremely dry and we had to add our own fish sauce and sriracha before we could eat it. The soup was extremely sour and over powering any coconut milk that may have been in it. The ONLY thing we actually enjoyed, was the Cheesy Crab wonton. They had a lot of flavorful filling and cooked perfectly.

Ordered food through Uber. Ordered the Thai fried rice, Hot basil, and beef and broccoli. Fried rice was a mush with no flavor. Hot basil was ok, but not spicy enough. Beef and broccoli was too soupy I think they forgot to add starch. Beef was very tough. Would not recommend.

Drunken noodles are usually brown in color and savory. Kruas recipe more closely akin to Pad Thai. Its red in color, sweet/chili/vinegar flavor. Its nothing like I thought it would be.I was disappointed and didnt finish my meal.

Having lived in Thailand, I know good Thai when I find it. Krua is a no-grill spot with tons of flavor. Not to mention, the service is incredible. I’m always greeted with a smile which is the tiny details I look for in a restaurant. Their param stir fry, parang curry, drunken noodles are soooo good. My office used to be a few blocks away and I’d look forward to ordering a few times a week. The restaurant is tiny so recommend ordering out.

The mock duck is amazing. Every dish Ive had there is awesome. Its best to order there & wait 10-15 minutes for your food. I ordered online once & it delayed it. Thai coffee & tea is great. Service is wonderful. Desserts are fabulous. Shop at the smoke shop next door while waiting for food!

The drunken noodles were delicious! Level 5 is very spicy. I kept having to fan my mouth. Great stuff. The spicy crab noodles were great also, but there were a lot of bits of crab shell I had to keep spitting out.

Very nice hole in the wall eatery. Great food, simple pricing, fair servings.I would eat here again, ordered the Seafood with Thai Fried Rice, and it was delicious.Parking definitely sucks as theyre in between a barbershop and a smoke shop, and the lot is tiny. The location is easy to miss, and youll need to park across the street or down the street from it.

Very friendly and kind waitress. We took our food home. Tastes great...except a little too spicy. I got Pad Thai with a spice level of 4 out of 10 and its tolerable. My wifes green curry comes standard as a 3, and its too hot for her... If you are kind of a wimp or novice when it comes to spice, Id go with a 1 so you can taste and enjoy the wonderful flavor of the food. We also had the curry puffs and they were great! I chose to rate them a 3 instead of a 4 for the uncleanliness of the kitchen. It could be cleaned up a lot with a little effort. Other than that and the spice level, this place is great for a satisfying, and relatively inexpensive Thai dinner.Edit: Since posting this review, the restaurant has put up a frosted glass divider on the counter - apparently to block your view of the kitchen. I can only assume this was done in lieu of a deep cleaning...

As others have said, the portions are generous. BUT. This place still thinks its 2020 and refuses to let you sit at its tables. Your paying the prices of a sit-down restraunt that does not allow ypu to sit down. Good luck getting to this tiny storefront, it has 1 parking space and shares megre parking with 5 other businesses.

My favorite Thai place. Ive tried a few others but Krua is the go-to for me, really glad its nearby where I work and well priced. Usually isnt crowded at all when I dine-in (very limited seating though). They do pick up orders so I typically do that.

Huge, huge portions! I got the pad thai and drunken noodles to go but I was disappointed with the taste of both and I really wanted to like them too because like I mentioned the portions were enormous. The pad thai had an overwhelmimg taste of tamarind I had never experienced in pad thai before. Also, the parking lot is extremely small and when you back up youre literally driving into the sidewalk.

TERRIBLE! Placed a $60+ order and was told an hour delivery... Spent over an hour and a half waiting and called, was told it would be there any moment. NEVER RECEIVED OUR FOOD! If I could give this establishment a a zero I would this is completely unacceptable; I was hosting a family get together. Never will I ever recommend or solicit this place for food again. There was a major issue with Grubhub. Basically Grubhub cancelled my order because the driver arrived at 4:30pm, right when Krua Thai opens. They say they called the restaurant, but I’m skeptical. Also why would you send a driver right at opening. You know food won’t be available! Moral of story is Grubhub sucks. Not the first time, but it is the last, they screw me over. I called the restaurant direct and a gentleman who might be named Tha helped me out and delivered the food to my family. I was out of town and wanted to make dinner easy for one night. Not only is the food always good, but they came through. Thank you.

The crab fried rice was acceptable, but the wings were swimming in grease, and the pad thai was sub par. I went there on a Sunday because the best Thai resturant (Tuktan) in Chula Vista was closed.
