Kumar Market and Kitchen in Pleasanton

The owner and his wife are so nice and kind. I get fruit there, but love the take out there. My girls and I love the Chana bhatura, along with the curries they offer every week. All are vegetarian and tasty, the paneers are my favorite!

A small little Indian grocery with great prices, Their fresh produce is something that they still have to work on. Very friendly and helpful, greets you when entering unlike other stores, which is very nice.They also sell lottery and scratchers, and theres also water vending station outside the store.

It is a decent place to get groceries but I wouldn’t recommend getting any kind of fast food here. I got samosa from this place which was absolutely spoilt, tased like they used stale and leftover potato stuffing to make the samosas.

Small and good grocery shop. They have started snacks counter and kitchen vegetarian only, which is very good. Very good for quick shopping for grocery items

They have the best papaya, Yummy 🤪 a lot items you can find here to make a good meal.

I love shopping here for my vegetables and Indian groceries. I don’t cook a lot of Indian food but whenever I’m in the mood, I always find what I need here. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I’ve found the quality of the vegetables are fresh and food and very reasonably priced! I’m shocked at how much Safeway charges for the same produce and it’s not even as fresh at Safeway.This is a great little store where you will find what you need and if not, ask the owner. He is always helpful in getting to know what he can bring in.

Very nice Indian market. Owners are very helpful. Prices are quite fair. Produce is fresh.Update: I tried their newly opened kitchen dishes. Purchased an eggplant dish, noodle dish and some somosas. Served them as an appetizer with some parantha. What a hit! Now we are enjoying the leftovers.

Its a small store, but very clean and friendly. They offer Chai and samosas on the weekends. Really good and fresh. Just wish they have more organic options for spices and grains and stuff. Then I wont have to go to the big boys down the road and stand in long lines for 1 small item.

Kumar is a little grocery store with a big heart. Wide selection of goods, including fresh veggies and spices, and staff are happy to help you find what youre looking for.
