Kunjip in Santa Clara

Best cold noodles we had !We were impressed,Although there is a waiting line, it is pretty quick ;Since we know it would wait line we went for early dinner, around 5:10 reached there and 5:25 we were in.Food were served without delay.The side dishes were really good and they refill them too. Kimchi was really good.The food portions is quite big. We had to take box.The to go box were good container with extra bag so I won’t complain.Would definitely return.

Hot soup options are healing and deep in flavor. Cold noodles are so refreshing during the summer and pairs well with mustard/vinegar. I enjoy the meat quality here, and sides taste consistently delicious and fresh as well. Parking can be tough so come early!

Have to wait for about 40mins. There are not many dishes to choose from in the menu. Cold noodles are okay. Braised short ribs are worth trying. A little overpriced and you can not expect a good service here (too crowded).

What happened to this place? It used to be the go to spot for naengmyun on a hot day.The last time we went, we waited close to two hours and their prices have surged over 50%. Quality of food has remained consistent which is the only good thing. All other aspects of this place have gone downhill significantly.Naengmyun: $20Galbijjim: $75+Wait time: 90min+Over $130 and 2.5hours for dinner, insane.

I usually go to Kunjip for their cold noodles, but decided to try their kalbijim.Ate an early dinner around 4PM.We ordered:-maeun galbi jjim mild $82-large terra $8The sides were good. Just FYI, cucumber might be marinated in some pretty fishy sauce, since burps are gnarly.The kalbijim was good. Leftovers for two. The meat was cooked very well. The rice cake was a thick piece (normally they are smaller) so that isnt preferred for us.In the end, I still think Daeho might be better for kalbijim, but definitely a good spot for their cold noodles!Parking in the plaza is super difficult during peak hours.

Food was delicious!You just need to have patience because the wait time will take you roughly around 30-45 minutes especially if you are a big group.Service was Great as well! Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻

Get the #3 Galbi tang after a long night and you’ll feel like a new person. Every dishes so big can fill two people easily. Either Galbi Jjim is delicious with a lot of veggies on it. I love the little probiotic drinks afterward to help with digestion

Every time I visit, there are a lot of people. Its newly remodeled, so its clean and has a nice atmosphere. The food is delicious and the service is good.

Great portions and value! The wait is a bit long depending on the time you go, so I recommend going early. The service is always rushed but worth it because the food is amazing.The side dishes are great, especially their kimchi and radish kimchi.I recommend their Dogani-Tang and any of their soups. If you decide to come here I would say focus on the soups.Their kalbijim is also good as well, the taste is better but if you plan to share this dish i would suggest going to Daeho instead as they give you bigger portions with more meat instead of other ingredients so it is more shareable. However, I do think that the taste of Kunjip’s Kalbijim is better.Their takeout and to-go containers could use some work because they do not have firm seals.

I highly recommend the cold noodles (both Mul Neng and Bibim) and galbi tang (갈비탕).Mo Deum soo Yook was impressive and high quality meat.Best korean food I had so far in the US and better than most of the best restaurants in korea!
