Kura Revolving Sushi Bar in Garden Grove

Fun experience for the family. We took our nieces and nephew here for dinner. 3 kids (9,10,11) and 2 adults ended up being a $200 bill so it does get pricey.Sushi was fresh and tasted good but some of the spicy ones didn’t have a good flavor and were a bit sour.Certain special order dishes come with too much rice.Ramen is surprisingly good.If you get more than 15ish plates - the gacha machine automatically spits out a toy. We ended up getting a few magnets in each one. Kids love that.Service was very friendly and accommodating of the children. They spilled their soda and the staff were very kind about it and helped us dry the area. (So sorry!!)Overall a positive experience and fun!

Update:9/10/23 I came for all their limited time dishes like the wagu beef and the lobster rolls! They have the bluefin Toro in currently alone with all the DC collectable items. I got the magnets and the multicolored lanyard 😎I also got to use 10 dollars in coupons for my visit which was a win, out the door was like 36$ for 11 plates with using my coupons.Original review:Another great kuras experience!They had the wagyu beef back also so that was awesome!

Huge location compared to the ones I have visited so far which is great! Live the sushi here. Love the concept that the servers don’t bother as much and leave you to enjoy your food. The ability to call servers and just not worry about much but to enjoy your meal is great. The best location I have been to so far!

Delicious sushi rolls. Prices are good. The sushi and other food items going around on a belt. You can pick them up or order from a tablet above your head. I recommend this place especially with your friends and family. There are robots bringing drinks to you. They have different Japanese drinks too. It was really fun 🤩 and delicious 😋

Sushi was average quality, nothing was delicious or extraordinary, but nothing was bad either. The fact that you could grab just a couple pieces of a roll and pick n choose as they come past your chair made it worth while! Also having the ability to order from the menu and it zips over to your location made it fun. Will definitely be back, maybe try other locations closer to our home to see how they compare.

One of the better sushi places in town just for the variety of sushi being offered alone! A fun atmosphere where you can relax and sample any amount of sushi you want as well as other Japanese dishes. One of my favorite spots.

This is our favorite Kura to go to, its a large restaurant so the wait is never actually that long. They have adorable drink-serving cat robots too. :) They currently have a collaboration with My Hero Academia for their prizes! Tasty sushi. 🍣 ❤️

Ive been here twice and will be back several times moving forward.The staff is so nice and the restaurant itself is very clean.The food is top-notch.In addition to the belt, you can order from the kitchen, and everything comes out super fast.They have an option to pay by app or with staff, which is great for those with social anxieties.Ended our meal with several desserts. Highly recommend!

Food was quality/fresh. Atmosphere is nothing special, but nothing bad at all. You pretty much serve yourself, but if you do need to call a waiter/waitress, they are very quick to get to you.My first experience was during a weekday, and was a great experience. We had may options of food to pull from the conveyor belt.The 2nd time was on a weekend for lunch. The only dislike I had was an extreme lack of food/plate options from the conveyor belt, as there were far more customers eating at this time.All in all, theyre a great establishment.

Decided to visit this location because it showed literally no wait time compared to my usual location in Irvine. The food was decent and the wait time was only a few minutes but I would definitely rather sit through the wait time at the other location for better service. This location definitely lacks service. There was one instance where we ordered drinks and they never came. We realized that they gave our drinks to the wrong table next to us when they received exactly what we ordered and then received their drinks on top of ours with the server saying “sorry, those aren’t your drinks but they’re on the house” lol and nobody said anything. When we brought it up to the attention of one of the waitresses when she finally brought our drinks after we had to call someone over and her response was “it’s fine” and quickly walked away. If you prefer to dine without ever needing service this is your spot.
