Kura Revolving Sushi Bar in Sherman Oaks

I enjoy going there after work to eat at the counter by myself, eat, watch people. Ive eaten here since this locations opening day. Point system is fun to get prizes or food discounts.

Have gone here many times recently while working in the area.The wagu beef sushi was my favorite but was only around for a limited time sadly :/Remember to ALWAYS USE THE APP AND RESERVE A SPOT AHEAD, otherwise you could be in for a unplesant surprise. Sometimes wait times were over 150 minutes for us 😱Theres tons of good things here though, large menu and the revolving sushi you just grab is always some fun, its best to go with a group so you can win some of the prizes which is always fun 😎Its great they also serve hot saki and some beers also,Not the cheapest place with my average cost being 30$ or so per person for a full meal. But its a treat for sure,Currently the cost is 3.55$ per sushi plate, I remember when they were like 2.80$ some years back elsewhere.

Sushi can be expensive if you dont keep track of how many plates you ate. But overall staff are helpful and friendly. Also, the atmosphere is very welcoming for tourists

Really enjoyed the dining experience! Great concept with the plates. Wait times can be up to one hour or longer. Ordering is very easy with the touch screen! I didn’t grab any sushi from the revolving belt because the service was fast! Food was tasty and fresh. Servings are a bit small but for the price it’s good! My favorite was the hand roll. Looking forward to coming back.

Kura sushi bar was such a great time to dine in.We tried alot of different dishes being offer on the conveyor belt. There was a wait time but we sat at the bar and got us a drink while we waited.The staff is super friendly and helpful.Once you get ur table if its ur first time one of these hostess gives you a Lil schooling on how things work there and then you get ur delivered drinks to your table by their Lil super cool robot.Besides just grabing what ever plates roll on by on the conveyor belt You can also order items from the menu from a tablet above your table and those get to ur table on a second conveyor belt.Overall a very fun and pleasant experience. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend this place. We had a blast.

Ive been here a few times and its definitely a fun experience to have once in awhile. The sushi is fresh - you can see the chefs making them through the windows. The little robot that brings drinks is adorable. One time I brought my uncle here who cant have any type of seeds due to medical conditions and they were very accommodating. He wasnt able to order through the screen, but the server was able to put in what he wanted with the substitutions. I recommend making a reservation because wait times can be over an hour, especially on weekends.

This place is awesome. We came for the first time and my kids love it. The little robot that brings the drinks, the sushi and the staff is super friendly. We are definitely coming back. The only thing is the table hold 4 people and we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday so we sit separately 😞 but still was a wonderful experience!

Great revolving sushi, just like in Japan, including anime cross-promotions! They had a cross promo with Demon Slayer when I was there. Super fun and entertaining!

Get on the waitlist on the app ahead of time, it gets super busy! The belt of sushi is fun, and while the plates can add up and be pricy it is worth the experience. The salmon, tuna, and albacore are all great. Their hot food is good too, but drinks aren’t strong.

Overall the experience was good, the only thing that bothered me was the staff didnt clean down the tablet at the table used to order items. The previous party had grimy and dirty fingers so when I touched the tablet it was all sticky. Otherwise the food was good and service was as well. The wait was about 20 mins even though the wait-list estimated about 70. I think lots of people sign up but dont end up showing.Edit: The second time I came here, the ordering table was clean and I didnt have any issues
