If you don’t know about this place, then you’re really missing out and obviously you’re not from the area but you don’t have to be from the area to know about this place so again you’re missing out! Lol please believe me when I tell you this will be the best fried rice with anything you choose to put in it you’ve ever had! This is a staple in the city of Pomona, and I highly recommend you to bring everyone you know to try this. I got shrimp fried rice my buddy had beef fried rice and I treated him to lunch and he was just amazed Quan this place never fails us! Come on down and try it on Holt Avenue in Pomona.

Best place for fried rice. This is probably my most favorite fried rice restaurant. The portion is big and the price is great. The size of the restaurant is pretty small, so I usually get the food to-go. If you want some good fried rice, this place is a must!

This is one of those restaurants that you want to tell all your friends about because its that good. The combination fried rice was only $11 and could easily serve four. Youll agree that it actually tastes better than it looks because it is. Kwons is only 2.6 miles from my work so Ill probably go back to try everything on their vast menu.

I have to drive for 40 minutes to get here just to get the chicken fried rice, not because of cheap and huge but the taste is super awesome. Every spoon that I eat, make me cant stop it. I knew this place from my dentist. Prefer to go. Chow mein is good but cant combine with the fried rice. I just dont like the area.

Used to come here all the time. Just visited today and the food had a bad taste to it and wasn’t cooked correctly some was burned and the rest was soggy. Really weird. And they don’t even have their sauce anymore 😡

My family and I always order to go. The food is amazing. The rice is so worth it. Im not a fan of the chow mien but my siblings love it so I believe it is also worth it. I also love how they put a lot of chow mein and rice. Honestly this place deserves to open another place in Ontario. I dont like the area its in but oh well. This place is worth the wait and money. I highly recommend this place. I will be shouting out this place more on my Youtube channel.

UPDATE: This place is a hole in the wall, but well worth the money. Food is great, large portions. Food this time was not burned. So Kwons is back to normal got green onionsI have purchased their chicken fried rice for ever. Its very delicious but lately the meal has been burned. I get they are busy but someone needs to make sure that rice doesnt get burned, also it seems their getting a little stingy on there green onions too. New cook perhaps?

This place is good, family has been coming here for quite sometime.. just I highly recommend the chili paste that they used to serve gets return back.. the new version Im sorry to say sucks. This restaurant 20 years ago was owned by two oriental ladys, everything on their menu was excellent. Now these new owners rulened everything those two ladys work so hard to have this restaurant. Sad to say your food their is not same at all, low quality rice, noodles are terrible and you cant even make the chili sauce right. The two oriental ladys if they knew what kid of food you guys are seving they would be very upset. I know I am, no more delicious Kwons 😥

After 36 years eating there, it is is very disappointing that theyve now changed their Hot Sauces recipe. IT IS NOT LONGER MADE WITH THE ORIGINAL RECIPE.Their hot sauce is what made their food so good!!!I guess my 90 mile drive round trip to go eat there is not worth anymore.

Fried rice is dry and bland as hell, ordered chow mein and got soggy broken lo mein, and the orange chicken must have been fried until the meat gets hard. Will not be going back… don’t understand the good reviews… save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

Not the same . Had been going there for years. Disapointed. Ever since original owner ladies left. Huge portions? Where. Dishes are about half the size,. Price has gone up. Doesnt always taste like the original recipes. Havent been back. When asked about the smaller portions, they said I probably ordered it wrong. Went back next time same dish Ive been ordering for years,. Still a small half plate of what it used to be,. For more money. Not worth my time and money.

The five stars is PURELY because of the food and how great it is. homeless and panhandlers are plentiful in this area and tend to stand right next to the door asking for money. The area and location itself looks pretty ghetto and ratty looking to say the least but despite this I can still whole heartidly recommend this restaurant as you will have THE BEST fried rice you will ever have. 5 stars and one of my utmost recommended places. Seriously though dont let its looks turn you away from its greatness.

The food is great here but the lady running the front needs to work on her people skills. Her attitude was rude and inconsiderate. I ordered a certain item and they gave me something different when I called to tell them she got very defensive and rude telling me thats what I ordered instead of saying Im sorry I misunderstood you. This is a highlight restaurant here in Pomona. Some of the best food around, and they always keep you coming back, the chili is the best, spicy and flavorful. Customer Service isnt the greatest, but the girls work hard and try their best. My favorite thing here is the chow mein, nothing like it anywhere else and they dont skimp on food either they give you the best for your buck. Been coming here since high school so about 10 years now.

This place is the BOMB. Ive been coming here for over 25 years. I remember when they use to sell American food....patty melt was delicious. Anyways the food is excellent and very well served for the price. Not your ordinary fried rice or chow mein. Make sure you put an egg on top. Enjoy!

Very BAD Customer Service they dont take orders correct and the cashier has a bad attitude towards customers and to the other employees (cooks) service takes a very long time. I called in advance and placed my order they said they would have it ready in 20 mins. So i was there in 30 min and food still wasnt ready. Very disappointed!

I use to live in Pomona back in the 90s, and Kwons has remodeled and give the same large portions of food. The dont cook it until you order it. They sometimes put a few couple too many bean sprouts. But they have fried rice with meat of your choice cooked in the rice and you dont need a side other then egg rolls unless you are greedy. The best rice, good prices.....I recommends this place. I stop by when Im in the area and every once in a good while. I drive from Koreatown or Santa Fe Springs or Norwalk. They close early at 7pm. They open around 10am. They are good cooks:

Got side dishes of orange chicken and of teriyaki beef/chicken. Both were very good portion sizes for the price. Teriyaki dish was nice...a bit too saucy though. I would not recommend the orange chicken though! There wasnt much meat inside the deep fried outer layer, and the meat wasnt even very good in it.

Took 30 mins to make. Its rated a B. I walked in and two other men walked in 10 mins after me and was served before meand jad the same amount of food. The food tasted nothing like Chinese food. Nice flavorful pieces with almost every scoop.Veggie Fried Rice - my go to dish cause its enough to feed four people. Nice mix of seasoned veggies, every scoop provided broccolli or bean sprouts that tingle the back of your brain. No soy sauce needed but the chili paste is highly recommended.Veggie Chow Mein. Similar to the rice with fat noodles. Would recommend eating it asap when its nice and hot on these cold, winter days.Orange chicken - i only ate a couple pieces to try. The robust flavor and lighter breading is a different pace from panda ex.Beef n broccoli - if u like beef then its the dish. There is always a line and their home made chili sauce is the bomb 💣! Not sure what they put in their food but its addictive. This was my first time trying kwons restaurant.I can tell you my first experience was not great and i will not be returning. I walked in ordered the #28 on fried rice after waiting i got my order went home and opened up my container to find out that I had received a plain regular chicken fried rice on top of that my rice was hard dry and the chicken was dry as well.

I came in for Friday lunch with the family. Ordered three plates: #30 fried rice, orange chicken, and chicken/shrimp chow mein. The order was done soon enough, but what came with the meal was what made this a horrible experience. About a quarter way through, I noticed a dead cockroach sitting in the middle of my plate of fried rice. Obviously we were disgusted and promptly asked for our money back. This was not without a little pushback from one of the staff members who didnt seem to appreciate the situation. We were reimbursed and got out. Unless you enjoy your meals crawling with insects, I suggest you avoid Kwons.

I beleive my whole family have been coming here since 1997, even my sister who doesnt really like Chinese food will get #5 chicken fried rice a family favorite just ask for extra chicken since the rice portion is huge! We also order chow mein snd lo mein but this is not an ordinary Chinese fast food where yku get a two or three item combo, here you normally order or rice or noodle with veggies or meat item and its cooked when you order, one thing to look out to is there grade on the window is normally a B.

They have lots of options here. You can have Lo Mein, Chow Mein, or Fried Rice with many combinations of meat. Be prepared, they have large portions.
