It was really good. Wife and I had the Katsu Curry. I had pork and she had chicken, and they were both really good. The flavors have depth and boldness. It was delicious. The portions are perfect. I took home half of my curry because I was so full and I usually eat a lot so thats saying something. The service was great, they answered all of our questions and were super respectful. They even came to the table to make sure we were good. Thats service. They even let you play games for free. I played the old super Nintendo 64 until my food was done. I didnt even get to play for too long because the food was done so fast. The best part was the food was super fresh and super hot. Thats how you know it was made to order. Really appreciate the presentation of the food too. Five stars well earned. Will come again.

The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. Im not a fan of fish, but their sushi rolls are for landlubbers like me. I tried Kais Loaded fries, which is a fusion sort of dish and was a bit of a gamble. It paid off! A hint of sweet from the sauce on the meat and the right balance of salty and savory. The atmosphere is neat with free video games including some vintage Nintendo games and the place clearly has some love for Nintendo with authentic games and magazine articles and adds all over the walls. My family really enjoyed our visit.

I love everything about this place!!!! It is my favorite food place in the av. The service is phenomenal. The owners Abby and Aaron make me feel like part of the family. I love the kiddos and the video game ambiance. I love the nerdy stuff all over and the music. My favorite dishes are the katsu curry and vegetable tempura. I 100% recommend giving this place a try.

Retro arcade game systems are available for use while the food is being made. I liked the tempura vegetables but would prefer to have more variety with them. I also got the combo teriyaki, and it was simply amazing! I love the variety of food choices here, and I will be back for more. The owners also let us have some lemon blueberry scones

This place had some awesome food! The curry and katsu are perfect. I didnt want to stop eating the curry honestly and was sad when the katsu was gone.My bf got their chicken and waffles. The smell of the waffles was heavenly as they made them. Hes a super picky eater and said they were some of the best waffles hes had.We are looking forward to going back and trying out the arcade they have with friends!

My wife and I have been frequenting this restaurant for nearly a year now (coincidentally, at the time of writing, Kyokos is almost at the 1 year mark) and have absolutely fallen in love with it. Weve tried about 95% of the menu in one shape or form, and Ive yet to find anything that is short of delicious.They aim to create a sense of nostalgia - food from a childhood long gone surrounded by family and in a living room filled with games and items of the 80s-90s. Personally, I feel like the mark has been hit firmly. The interior is lined with things youll fondly remember if you were a kid in the Super Nintendo/N64 era.The curry is one of their more popular dishes and its as comforting as grandmas soup. Varying in spice by your request, its hearty, flavorful, has a small kick of spices (not spicy unless you order it that way) that create a meal that feeds the heart as well.The owners (Ill withhold names out of respect) are such delightful people. Ive always been weak for supporting local businesses, but they truly deserve to create a permanent niche in Lancaster. Theyre as sweet as youd hope, as kind as anyone should be to one another, and as hardworking as the best. Theyre adding new things every day, so check it out! I promise youll like anything you order. (And every single sauce they have is absolutely game-changing FYI.)If you want my personal recommendations, I always get Spamago to split with the missus, and juggle between some sort of curry, the Sharpshooter (a very luxurious choice), and one of their burgers. Even with Japanese-Hawaiian roots, they make a damn good burger.

Very fresh and tasty dishes here. The service is awesome and the owners are very passionate about their work. We ordered the chicken katsu, kappa maki, Polynesian wings, and the loco moco. Excited to go back and try the Hawaiian BBQ plate and more! Free dessert for the review (pineapple cheesecake). Parking available in the shopping center parking lot.

This place is so great. Video games while you wait. Awesome memorabilia and decorations s all over. Rotation of specialty desserts and baked goods. The Kyokos curry special with katsu is my favorite. The Spam musubi is great and flavorful even without the sauce. Loved the lightness of the sauce with the Polynesian wings. The couple that run this place are AWESOME, as well. One of my absolute favorite places to eat!

Amazing food and great service brought me back to my days in Hawaii eating at the local food shacks so good. Had to add more to my review. I love this place so much that I go there at least 2 to 3 times a week. Their food is amazing and awesome you can feel the love and the home cook and the fresh ingredients everything is amazing about this place definitely a diamond in the rough. One of my favorite things that I get when Im ever in there is there Polynesian wings some of the best wings Ive had especially with that sweet glazed Polynesian sauce that they put over it homemade its amazing. Definitely a stop if youre in town or if youre just around the neighborhood.

I love this place! Great food and atmosphere! Aaron and Abby are some of the nicest people I have ever met. The food is delicious! I have lived overseas in Japan for years and he nails those dishes! The menu isn’t set in stone. If I ask for a menu item a certain way, they will accommodate my request. Which is awesome service. You can’t go wrong with anything there, but if I had to choose, I love the Pork Kastu Curry! Spicy level 6 for a bit of kick! Delicious!

I found this hidden gem 💎 by chance. First off, the owners are superb and very attentive. Everything is made to order and well worth the wait. I was happily surprised when the food came out. It hot, fresh and ready to be eaten. Everything is made with great care and tastes amazing. We had the spam masubi, the veggie tempura, the ramen and the chicken curry. All where wonderfully cooked and so delicious that we order some items to go. Ill definitely be back to this wonderful place that serves amazing food with a positive attitude. This combination of great service and amazing food, gives me a reason to always want to come back for more.

💝💝💝Kyokos Kitchen is my go to restaurant. I would give 10 stars if I could. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Cute location with comfy booths and parking lot next door.Delicious and inventive menu with fun fusion choices. Today we dined in and had the best time.We ordered Katsu burgers,Kapi Maki,Onigiri,Polynesian wings(best wings in the Antelope Valley),Hawaiian Bbq with steak,and Kyoko Rolls.Lots of cold drinks to choose from.Everything is prepared fresh and made to order. The vibe here is incredible. The owners are very kind and welcoming and Im very thankful for Kyokos. Everytime my family eats here has been a great experience and we look forward to coming back and eating here again.🥰

I am so happy my friend introduced me to this place.ive bene looking for a place such as this. Between great owners, food that cannot be beaten, and a vibe that makes you feel immediately at home.I was able to just sit down, have great conversations, and listen to retro game music while indulging in great food.If you are looking for a new restaraunt, I recommend this place I over any.

I love everything I have tried, especially the Katsu Curry, the Spamago, and the Sharpshooter. Literally any sauce they add is magical, but especially their pineapple sauces. Family owned, small place, cool retro video game decor and consoles to play. Not a lot of seats, I dont mind I will call in sometimes for pick up. Owners are sincere and nice, they care a ton and obvs put their hearts into their food. Good pricing and good portions. Always cool to try something new, I am really like the Japanese/Hawaiian fusion they offer. The banana split was stupid good; not too sweet, just right. The crepes are really tasty also!

We had the loco moco, chicken katsu curry, and onion rings: everything was amazing!The curry and loco moco gravy were both standouts, lots of other ingredients in there contributing to the flavors. Kyokos offers fantastic Japanese-Hawaiian fusion dishes. The couple who runs it are sweet and friendly. I love their chicken katsu curry. Request the deluxe version for a Hawaiian take on katsu curry (from their own family recipe)! I have been here three different times now, so so good each time. The owners are the ones cooking, they are so kind and make great recommendations, even took the time and gave my husband and I instructions on how to properly layer together the Japanese Curry the first time we ordered it. I saw Masubi on the internet and always wanted to try it, they have it on the menu and it tastes just as good as it looks- especially if youre a seaweed fan. We also tried the lemon blueberry scones, so yummy! Really reasonable pricing, great portions. Nice people doing an awesome job, and a very cool retro video game interior theme.

A nice hidden gem, that only recently opened. I came in from a foodie friends recommendation. The owners Aaron and Abbey are a wonderful couple who really put their hearts into the restaurant. The menu is full of his grandmothers recipes! And he really puts his heart into every dish! Everything is made fresh to order, but theyre quick so the only wait time is for the food to cook. Theres a large menu, I order what they suggest and I love every bite! The chicken katau is a favorite of mine. Recently, theyre selling prepared meals. Your choice of chicken or steak and spiciness level, its hard to beat for only $7! They put a lot of effort into keeping the place clean and it really shows. Theres an arcade station with over 1000 games you can challenge a friend on for free. I will continue to come back and its my favorite place in the AV to eat. Nothing compares to the cleanliness, freshness, and flavor!

Great new local business with a cute, retro video game decor. The dining room is very limited so expect to take away. The menu offers something different than your standard Hawaiian place. To begin the service is second to non, as soon as you walk through the doors you can feel the love and dedication that Aaron and his wife put Into their craft. My wife and I ate the house curry with a chicken katsu . Upon the first bite we tasted the delight of a curry sauce that has a perfect consistency and balance of flavors. This curry sauce was complimented by the tender pork and the crispy katsu. The combination of the various textures and richness of the curry make for the perfect bite throughout the whole meal. This is a place where perfection of a recipe that’s been passed down through generations is served with the upmost love. Forget going to LA for curry served to the masses, if you want the authentic taste of Japanese curry, Kyoko’s is the place to go

My mother was Japanese. She would make curry rice and I loved it. I havent had any since she passed many years ago. So the bar was set pretty high. I opened the box and smelled it. It smelled exactly like I remembered moms. The taste exactly like I remembered.I was a kid again. The pork melts in your mouth. Moms didnt, sorry mom. The gyoza: excellent. Chef and Mrs Chef are the nicest people. Truly a wonderful experience.

This place is one of the cutest whole in the wall places in Lancaster. They have everything from Japanese gumbo to Katsu to Ramen. Very Niiiiiice . So first visit was greeted with two beautiful smiles Erick and Abby. I asked the foundation of the the novel atmosphere of the restaurant. Erick spared a few moments to explain that the retro Nintendo theme was from his childhood as he was a Nintendo fan/gamer at youth. While playing games, Grandma drilled out these awesome dishes keeping the family fun and tummy-satisfied!I love these family owned restaurants, cuz its been my experience that a lot more goes into the food that they provide to you as evident in their tasty Japanese Curry and Ramen! Excellent food, rich seasoning, quality-price I think is fair, although the high ones were very small for the price, however, very tasty.The chicken Katsu is also very tasty, recommended at 100👌🏻.Its delicious dessert and the kindness of the two people who served us, is second to none.A small observation, in the curry we bought a hair came out, it can happen to all of us, just be more careful when serving.
