Kyosho in Menlo Park

A small little high class Sushi place. You feel like Im Tokyo in a Sushi bar. The quality is great and the lady in the service is very friendly and gave us the right direction to order the best things for us. We will be back for sure. Even the price is really good. We paid $95 for 2 rolls, 1 salmon dish, 2 miso soups, edamame and tea for both of us.

This is probably the best Japanese restaurant in Menlo Park. Everything is authentic, classy and delicious. They have fresh specials everyday. The hotate is great! The service was good despite that they had one lady doing everything. She was bussing tables, taking orders, the cashier and the food runner; yet, she was patient and never showed any stress.We also recommend the omakase sushi. Highly recommend!

Excellent Japanese restaurant. We had a quick dinner on Saturday evening and we were not disappointed. Food is indeed very tasty and there is a nice, quiet atmosphere. Service is good and efficient, it didnt take too much to get our food (even hot dishes). Theres not much space inside to get big groups seated, but if you find a spot I definitely recommend a visit.

I made a reservation here for a team dinner and the service was very good. The food itself was pretty good (not mind blowing), the vibes were good, and the servers were very nice and accommodating. Always proactive in refilling tea and water. Very nicely offered an extra scallop in our appetizer since we had 7 people and there would it be 6 pieces in 2 orders. Omakase was not super expensive but was good. She explained each of the fish to us and it was placed in a recommended eating order from light to rich. Also ordered a few rolls and my favorites were the dragon and crazy rolls. Toro sashimi was good too. Overall definitely a good place for team dinners since the company is paying anyway.

WOWZER! Our new favorite local sushi restaurant.Super fresh sushi.Imaginative rolls.Beautiful presentation.We have only enjoyed takeout. We haven’t dined-in. Cute ambiance though. Friendly service too.

We ordered tasting menu - omakase with 6 courses. Overall it tastes good with decent amount.You dont need to reserve in advance for group < 6 people. We arrived on 5:30pm on a weekend evening and there are still seats available. But the spots are quickly filled up in a couple of minutes

I’ve been here a few times. This place is a bit small but I’ve been fortunate to get seating relatively quickly. The staff is friendly and quick. The food is pretty solid. The sashimi has always been good. I haven’t tried any specials. It’s on the higher end (price wise) for sushi in the area but it’s good quality. My favorite spot and best bang for the buck is Omee J Fusion in Santa Clara but this is a good spot. I would recommend checking this spot out if you’re in downtown Menlo Park.

The Sushi rolls were fine in taste but little smaller in size compared to the price and other locations in that area. We ordered five rolls and two of us could finish all of it in one go. The ingredients were fresh and the they were made beautifully. 5 rolls came in four environment friendly boxes, that is minimal use of plastic. Overall we liked the presentation, preparation and taste. Food was ready on time as well.

Upscale feeling Japanese restaurant by downtown Menlo Park. The space inside feels modern and intimate, a very nice ambiance for a date night. We ordered a roll and the yuzu chicken teriyaki -- both were delicious. Overall, Id come back to try more of their dishes.

Food quality is amazing, fish super fresh. I sat at the bar and ordered two rolls, sushi man with great skills and making beautiful plates. Highly recommend it!
