2023-08-29 03:36:10Great restaurant with a ton of delicious food. Be sure to see what the monthly special is. Usually slightly better priced than normal. Great cocktails and sauces for food. Only slightly annoying thing is when it’s someone’s birthday, they bang on the overhead vent and have the whole restaurant sing. There was about 6 birthdays the other night when I was there. Other than that, I’ll be back again and again.

2023-11-15 18:36:52My kids took me out to dinner for my birthday! Walked in to Kyoto palace with a reservation (recommended) to a full house! There was lots of noise and tables full of people enjoying themselves. Lots of steam from the Teppanyaki style dining. If you’re here for a quiet dinner then forget it! They make lots of noise cooking and helping patrons celebrate birthdays! Just about every table had a birthday that evening. So, down to the food. I ordered the princess which was chicken and steak. Everything presented in front of our table looked very fresh. We had our choice of steamed or fried rice. Everything tasted very good down to the fresh veggies and onions. I give 5 stars for the food taste and quality. I give 5 stars to the chef for his hard work. I give 4 stars to our waiter. Although he was nice and knowledgeable he seemed to be rushing. It was a nice experience overall.

2022-11-30 06:02:08Set on the second floor in the Pruneyard, we stumbled upon this place. It looks small and quaint externally but I was surprised to see it was quite a large place inside and was pretty busy given it was a Tuesday evening.Had a great time for a family birthday dinner in the bar area. It was our first time here and the bar man was excellent and went beyond expectations. He really made our trip out worthwhile. We had sushi, the specialty rolls were pretty good.Draft beer was quite reasonable at $7 and they had a few good selections on tap including Mango cart.Family friendly place, will definitely be back.

2021-12-12 02:21:41First time visiting a teppanyaki establishment, so I had high expectations... Those expectations were certainly met and surpassed with the great service from our waitress and star of the show- the chef.My family and I enjoyed this place as our post-Thanksgiving feast. Our chef was so entertaining with the single egg, bouncing it on his spatula and cracking it with finesse. He was full of banter and very engaging with each the other family around us, so fun to watch everyone try but yet fail to catch pieces of scrambled egg in our mouth. Somewhat disappointed that there was no fiery onion volcano, but its understanding with safety concerns. The experience was amazing- truly dinner and a show all in one.The meat- shrimp, calamari, steak, and chicken were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The meat certainly absorbed the flavors from the hibachi grill. The chicken fried rice is a must have upgrade. Always a great way to end the night with free scoops of ice cream.Would come again!

2023-08-29 07:14:33The flavor of the food was satisfying, and the servers performance was exceptional. No complaints in that regard. However, the chefs showmanship fell short of our expectations, unlike other Teppanyaki establishments Ive visited. Additionally, he seemed somewhat inattentive when placing food on our plates, even layering items over the hot sauce.Regarding the closing time of the restaurant, we felt a sense of haste, as if we were encouraged to finish our meal swiftly and depart. We didnt manage to complete our food, and before we knew it, we were served ice cream and presented with the check for payment and gratuity. Unfortunately, by the time we finished our meal, the ice cream had completely melted.

2023-09-14 01:46:36My parents loved to eat here and to bring us kids here when we come in from out of town. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting. The service is always exceptional and the food is always fresh and delicious. This evening we came in for an early dinner. Instead of going with both my parents it was just my mom and I as my father passed away recently. The Owner of this fine establishment, Dale came personally to our table to give my mother his condolences. He remembered my mothers name and addressed her by it and said he read of my father Myrons passing in the paper. (Remembering my fathers name). My mother and I were touched. I cant give enough stars for the personal care that they give.

2022-01-24 00:53:16We went there for the New Year’s Eve lunch. The sparkling champagne was included in the meal package. The performance was entertaining and fun. We felt pretty filling after the meal. It’s worth going for people who had never been to a Teppanyaki place.
