The food was good but the service was terrible. One of our children sat for 10 minutes without food because they didn’t turn in her order, I had to flag our waiter down so he could get her sushi ordered. We all had empty drinks also, waited forever to get refills. There’s 6 tables in this place so it’s not super busy. Another one of our kids order was wrong. She ordered a chicken teriyaki plate and got a chicken salad.Like I said, the food was okay but our sushi in Missouri is much better!!Also, there’s no public restroom. Spend $160 and couldn’t pee?! I wouldn’t recommend this place!!

A nice sushi place that will be just enough quality to satisfy your sushi cravings. The food is good, nothing I would rave about, but also nothing really to complain about either. Service was great. Nice ambiance. Fresh food. Lots of variety. Price is a little pricey for the quality. In the Anaheim/garden grove, I would suggest checking out red sake or ohshima

My taste buds were like BAM! This is very good sushi, the chef means business! I highly recommend this spot. We were only going to get one roll but kept ordering and each one delivered. Definitely check this place out. I had driven past it so many times since it’s easy to miss but this may have just become my new spot.Here me out… Tuna Tataki Roll 🎤 drop.

My friend and I came to eat lunch before our movie showing next door. I enjoyed my poke salad and oishi roll very much! Prompt service & elegant display. We sat at the bar area. My friend ordered uni roll and burrito roll. We dont live in the area, but we would come back if we were going to see a movie at Regals. My only thing is that I dont like watching the news, especially while Im eating, but the TV was directly in front so it was hard to ignore. Maybe no TV or a different channel would be my only suggestion.

I am a frequent eater here. There are new staff and they took our order wrong. I asked for a monster roll. But they gave me a fried tempura salmon roll, and it gave me the worst food poisoning. First, I told them I didnt order it, but they kept arguing with me that it is correct. The tummy ache was so bad I took all my rolls to go and asked for the check. Im not coming back.

I got introduced to sushi with this place and honestly this sushi restaurant did a very good job at making me a sushi lover. I’ve gone to other sushi places but by far this one takes the cake it is now my favorite place to eat sushi. I highly recommend you try this place you won’t regret it. 10/10 ✅

The food was great! The staff were really nice. My order was under $30 bucks. I got a110. Chicken Cali blow: $5.95Salmon roll: $5.95106. Chicken Teriyaki: $8.95And 2 Raspberry Ice Tea drinks: $3.50Total of $26.24 including the $1.89 taxWould recommend!

This place is a rip off. Prices way to high for quality of food. Ordered the bbq short ribs 30$ small portion and beef was grainy, chewy and mostly fat. Softshell crab didnt taste right and a basic salmon/avocado roll not very good either. For those 3 things and a beer 80$, will not be back ever, get better food elsewhere for less.

My family has been going here for years since its located near my parent’s house. The food is excellent. The rolls are bigger around than at most other sushi restaurants. They arent dinky little rolls. The portions of all of the meals are great. Food comes out fast.

Their lunch special bento boxes are really good for the money, but their sushi is only so so. Their service is very prompt which I love and my water was never empty. 5 star service 4 star food. It is more pricey to eat here as opposed to fast food but you get a quality meal that is mostly good for you.

I love coming here for lunch. I work around the area and this is definitely my favorite spot to go to during lunch hour. The food Is good and the service is quick and attentive. You must try their baked spicy salmon roll. I never get tired of it.

Been coming here a couple times a month since 2014, when I used to work in the same shopping center. In my 6+ years of coming here, they have never messed up an order and I have never gotten sick. The quality is amazing compared to most sushi places in OC that Ive been to. Ive tried a majority of the items on the menu over the years; the volcano roll and super philly roll remain my favorites. Before COVID (when you could dine-in) they gave you complimentary miso soup and edamame. Definitely try this place out - you cant beat the quality for the price! No matter how busy they are - they always greet you, confirm your order with you, and the sushi chefs thank you as you leave. Thank you Kyotori for always being a reliable and satisfactory place for my sushi cravings! Keep up the great work! :)

This is the best sushi and highest quality fish for miles and miles! I have been eating here for 4 years now. While on vacation at other sushi restaurants I talk about and dream about Kyotori. Alex has become my friend and is absolutely great. I dont have a single complaint about this place and Ive probably been here 200+ times

Good service, the chefs at the front sushi counter are very polite and make bomb fresh sushi and they will accommodate your special requests. The sushi here is very good quality and fresh. I recommended the Baked Spicy Salmon Roll and the Crunch Roll!! So good! Come early cause it can get crowded and they sometimes run low on rice by the end of the night, lol!

On the hunt for new Japanese places in my area I came across this little place. I ordered a roll, a miso soup and some nigiri. Sadly the soup was the best part of the meal. The roll had very little flavor and the nigiri was so tough it was almost inedible and entirely unpleasant. My roommate seemed happy with his bento so idk, it might just be the fish. Guess Im sticking to my usual sushi haunts.🤷‍♀️

I have been going to Kyotori for about 4 years. Always have loved their sushi. Nice, comfortable, small, quite, and delicious sushi spot. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good quality sushi. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.

One of their soup noodle (forgot what it was called) was too salty which I think is due to the meat being in the soup. If I had it on the side it probably would have been ok but then the meat itself was too salty. I didnt really like the thickness of the soup also but that is probably just my preference as I see that they are packed bright early in the morning with a long wait line. The octopus balls were delicious. Place was was small inside.

I stopped eating here even though the food is good because the restaurant always reeks of body odor, no matter what time of day I visit. I assumed at first it was a member of the staff, but Ive come to learn that this particular smell is actually not body odor but poor cleaning practices. Its dirty towels used over and over with cleaning agents. If the health department were to get their hands on this place theyd have a field day Im sure.

I got an albacore salad and it comes with six pieces of fish. The salad they used appears to be the spring mix from Costco. Anyway, I paid $12 for it and i felt was overpriced. I probably will avoid all places like this in the future (dime a dozen sushi restaurants run by Koreans). My stomach felt funny afterwards too.

Favorite sushi place for consistently fresh fish, always tastes great, never dissapointed. Personal favorites are the baby lobster and scallop role as well as the garlic albacore. Girlfriend likes the oishi role and tuna Pataki. Also shoutout to the jalapeno bombs. Staff and cheffs are also very friendly, good music and good vibes. Prices arent too expensive

The first time, I came to this restaurant, I think that I will never come back for dinner or lunch, even for take out because food is not good and very expensive with roll over 12 dollars but only 6 pieces with size like a thumb .I am very unhappy, I think that you want your business develop in the future, you should change your way, If you still follow this way, I think your restaurant will be closed because people come only a time and never come back, like me
