La Baguette Vietnamese Sandwiches in Palm Desert

Ordered the banh mi with pork belly and ham and it was definitely one of the better banh mi sandwiches I’ve had. I wasn’t expecting to find something that ended up being better than most banh mi sandwich shops located in OC. If I didn’t live 100 miles away from this place, I’d definitely be a regular here.Very friendly and chill staff working here, they know what they’re doing, exchange your bread for their fresh French bread, you won’t be disappointed.

Everything was delicious! My wife especially liked the sirloin banh mi, and I liked the pork shoulder banh mi because I was in the moody for a slightly fattier cut. The peanut sauce they put on the sandwiches are great.We also had an order of Spring Rolls, which comes with 3 large sized rolls. The sauce for those was fresh and gingery. We added chicken to the spring rolls but the chicken was a bit dry for my preference.The vermicelli they used was thicker and closer to a noodle than the stringy stuff other places use. Loved it!Oh! And we also tried the Hibiscus smoothie, which is just a tea because nothing is blended. Tasted great! No caffeine, of course, since its an herbal tea.They steeped the hibiscus with diced strawberry pieces and fresh lemon slices on top.It was quite a bit of food for $50 and the sandwiches were way bigger than expected. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Clean cute little place, greeted by the friendly server with excellent suggestions. My thought was if i can spend 12 bucks at a fast food place, I can certainly spend the same for fresh ingredients I can turn into both a lunch and dinner! Got the pork shoulder banh mi, drenched it in their mouth watering ginger and ginger fish sauces and all of a sudden I had nothing left for dinner! The chef in back was pleasant and welcoming also. True gem, give them a shot!

The vegan bánh mìs are tasty but if u want something more flavorful & less dehydrating get the Rice bowl with tofu fries & mushroom sauce. They sometimes sell out of a lot of the items a couple of hours before closing times, so try to go early.

High-end food in a simple shop.I enjoy the fresh ingredients and tastes.Their sandwiches are very good. Their spring rolls are excellent!Ask for their different dipping sauces

We had the banh mi with pork shoulder and spring rolls with shrimp and prime sirloin. We also tried the pandan waffle. The food is really good. Will come back. Highly recommend.We returned today and had combo banh mi and sirloin banh mi. The food is great as always.

If you love Vietnamese food or if youre looking to try it for the first time THIS is the place to go. The customer service was outstanding! They have a very clean restrooms as well. Thats always a plus for me. I will definitely be visiting again soon!***If youve never had Thai tea lemonade, I highly recommend it!***
