Clean! The rooms and the giant tub are clean. The lobby staff were very friendly and coffee and hot chocolate are complementary. Only thing was not being able to control the temperature in the room. It was there, it just didnt seem to work, so it was a little chilly, but was a minor detail. Two daily water bottles in the room as well. There is a restaurant and it is a little pricey, but very good!! Its also walkable to a few restaurants and a Target.
The staff upfront was extremely sweet and charismatic. They made us feel welcome and joked with us the whole time. The entire hotel smells wonderful as well. My husband and I stayed one night in a king suite with a jacuzzi tub. Upon arrival, we were very pleased with the room. The shower and tub were beautiful and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. However, the shower drain was clogged and did not drain. It’s very disconcerting to be stepping in a puddle while showering, not knowing what you may be stepping in. Thankfully we were only there one night so that didn’t become and issue. We used the bath, but I did notice several short, shiny, curly black hairs that were most definitely not ours. Also, the scale provided in the bathroom was dead. These are things that the cleaning crew should handle or, at the very least, report (such as the shower drain). The fact they haven’t been fixed makes me believe they don’t clean properly to have even detected these issues, or they just don’t care about customers. Unfortunately it seems the cleaning and upkeep is not up to par with the standards of a 4-star hotel. We did expect more from the room. And finally, though the front desk was a pleasure, when we were seated at the bar, we felt we were more of a nuisance than paying customers. We were seated immediately after another couple who seemed older, giddy and maybe on an early date. My husband and I are in our early/mid 20s and look very young. The other couple was greeted, we were not. They and the other bar guests were given chilled ice water. We were given regular, non-iced water. Their order was taken enthusiastically and quickly. We were finally acknowledged when we were asked for our orders. We ordered our cocktails (delicious) and were only treated enthusiastically and kindly when we asked for the check and said goodnight. We remained quiet and behaved for the 30minutes we were in the restaurant. We were quieter than the couple beside us, though they weren’t obnoxious either. We were dressed well and arrived hours before closing. I am not sure if we were treated differently because we appear younger, but a simple ID check could’ve rectified the situation in that case.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for his bday and I couldnt be any more pleased with the service we received the front desk where always smiles and greeting us at all times! The food in the restaurant downstairs was amazing and my boyfriend is a bit picky when it comes to steaks but he was definitely please with everything i definitely recommend staying here and Ill definitely be going back if I get the chance! Great service. The room was large and nice. I enjoyed the in room spa tub. I liked how you had sliding doors to close the bed from the rest of the suite. The privacy and make up room lights are something Ive never seen.
Everything about this hotel made our stay effortless. The front desk staff was very efficient and professional, the rooms had everything we needed and the on-site restaurant came highly recommended by a few locals and it did not disappoint. Definitely coming back next time we are in town.
Loved staying here! The Executive Deluxe King with the Jacuzzi was so nice.They had great suggestions one vineyards to visit and the restaurant was pretty good.

We took advantage of the wonderful room service and enjoyed our breakfast and dinner in the room. We also really loved the hot tub. Thank you for a great stay. Look forward to next time.
I had been planning this trip for months for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I wanted something more than just a Holiday Inn or Comfort Suites. La Bellasera is very elegant and the entire staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little older, and could use some upgrades:No Smart TVs, water takes FOREVER to get hot, carpet had a few stains, no pen or paper at the desk, the shower door lets a lot of water out, and the room seemed stuffy unless we turned the A/C down below 70.On the plus side:Bed was comfy, room was quiet, shower is big enough for 2 people 😏, blackout curtains are a huge plus for sleeping in, room was HUGE, 2 TVs, and there is mini bar area.Having a nice restaurant in the hotel was a plus, and free wine tasting in the lobby was nice also.Like I said, I had been planning for months and did my research. I think the only real disappointment I had was they didnt do a little more considering the occasion. They gave us a bottle of champagne, but only after I did give a heads up when we checked in. When I made the reservation, I noted the reason for our stay.All in all, our stay was good.
Place is ok. Staying here right now for two nights and it’s $750. Don’t get me wrong, the place is clean and cute but far from a $400 a night place.I asked for a nice view-well, as you can see on the attached picture, I’m staring at a torn down junk infested motel. The room is beyond basic and you actually have to ask for turnover for the room if you want it, they don’t just come and reset it in the morning. What really blew my mind is that there is no Bellman service and my friend and his wife actually had to wheel all their bags by themselves to the room on the bellman cart.I travel the world and stay at hotels regularly and this one has one of the worst price to value ratio.Self-serve coffee at front was cold and one person checking in people while 8 people in line. Sadly, would not be staying here again. This feels more like a glorified airport hotel.
....and so it begins. Great central location with the friendliest and professional staff. Most winery tasting rooms are within 15 minutes. Our room was at least 650 square feet, clean and top quality appliances and fixtures. Hate to use the cliche but hidden gem seems appropriate. I hope we can still reserve a room once this place gets discovered.

The manager June helped us and was so friendly and welcoming. We got a pool facing room with balcony and it was great. The room was nice and clean and included a microwave and small refrigerator. Very conveniently located for wine tasting.
Maybe if I had wanted to stay here, it could have been better.... I just went to use the bath tub..... which was the best part of this hotel experience.... the room was huge!!!, but with the layout of this room, the bathtub was in the living room?.... why??.....
Beautiful lobby, great room with a jacuzzi and a wall painting of an Italian scenery. The enoteca restaurant has amazing food. The phone in the room didnt work and the room cleaning service button must have been broken because they didnt come to clean our room although we requested it. Overall a good experience.
Stayed 2 nights. Could not get our room cleaned even though we requested it. There was a big mess near our room on the third floor. Tried to report it but there was never any answer at the front desk or anywhere else. Luckily we brought our Towels to the pool because once you get out there there’s a sign that says you need to get towels from the front desk. Not convenient. Our suite overlooked the freeway.. And lastly the scale in room was dead. Either keep it working or take it out.
Positive: Staff was accommodating best they could with one staff member and after hours. Negative: Sink problems from plumbing line clog on second floor room. Maintenance disassembled plumbing to bathroom sink and left it overnight. Grey water leaked from sink as other rooms used thier water. Smelled terrible and kept us up all night. Cancelled vac
I called Enoteca to see if they were participating in the 3 for $30 January restaurant month. The waitstaff said yes. Adter talking with a friend, I called back to make a reservation. At that time I asked if the restaurant was participating in the 3 for $30 month. Again, the waitstaff said yes. When we were seated and perused the menu, the restaurant was charging 3 for $43, not $30. Why didnt the waitstaff explain that to me? Totally misinformed me!!! We ended up ordering off the menu instead of the January special and the food was good, but...I feel cheated.
I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this one was quite a shock. The staff at the desk was amazing and the restaurant staff was lovely . The room we booked was through Expedia and had a fireplace and about 400 dollars plus tax . So here is my review on the room. Toilet didn’t flush and had to be fixed. Sink was clogged and would not drains. Fireplace was old and glass wasn’t even cleaned . Room was old and could of used a lot of updates! I can say a lot more but I was truly dissatisfied with my stay given the poor quality of room given the outrageous price!
Great location!! This hotel is a little older but is awesome. The room was clean and the staff was phenomenal. Overall its a beautiful hotel. My only issue was that the hot water took too long to get hot.
We have had a very poor experience at La Bellasera. Our family had booked two rooms. We arrived at 4:15 pm and were told that one of the room was not ready and it would take at least an hour. After a lot of discussion, the staff gave us another room. The rooms were not close but we were at least able to get ready in time for our evening event. One of the rooms had low water pressure and no hot water in the bathroom sink and the other had a phone that didn’t work. While the staff fixed the phone, the hotel staff said that nothing could be done about the water pressure and hot water until maintenance could look at it the next day. We had 3 family members in one of the rooms and found out at bedtime that there was no sheet, pillow, or blanket for the sofa bed. When we called guest services they asked us to come down and pick it up. This certainly wasn’t the service I expected at an esteemed hotel like La Bellasera.
Stay away from this Hotel.We showed up and from the outside the place looked nice. Thats where it ended. We were greates with oh good. The last ones of the night to arrive. We checked in and went to our room. Heres what was bad: 1. Room temperature: the room did not get above 67 degrees the entire stay. We would set the thermostat to 80 but it never got there. 2. Water temperature: cold and luke warm showers the entire stay. Hey we had a hot tub in our room...but no hot water. 3. Broken coffe maker: The room came with complementary K cups but the machine was missing parts preventing me from making any coffee. 4. Broken toilet: The flapper was stuck and the toilet would not flush (I fixed it myself) 5. Plush Robes: Every room has plush robes...except ours. 6. Bed comfort: The bed was so hard it was like sleeping on a brick. We attempted to have all these addressed but were told Were totally booked, what do you want us to do? Never staying here again.
We came here for my cousins wedding and I am so happy with our choice!! The hotel was beautiful!! There was a grand piano at the entrance and a restaurant Enoteca in the back. They were too busy to take us even though we arrived over an hour before they closed, so I can’t speak on their dinner but I was really hoping to try it. Some of the guests were a little loud. So you could hear them in the hallways. But the rooms themselves seemed well insulated. Our room was amazing! We had a jacuzzi tub, huge bathroom with an equally large walk in shower. The living room was so comfortable and had a large flat screen TVs as well as the bedroom, which also came with double sliding doors for privacy. We just loved our room! The design was very smart! I couldn’t have picked a better place to sleep! The bed was so cozy and the blankets and pillows were heavenly. We were only about 20 minutes from our destination at Halter Ranch. Target, fast food and restaurants were all around the corner too making it super convenient! I highly recommend!!
Just left our stay here. Enjoyed the whirlpool and separate bedroom, which allowed us to put our infant to sleep and still enjoy ourselves! Front desk staff were helpful and brought up a packnplay. Great management and would definitely come back. Didn’t have time to check out their restaurant but it did look great.
Good was great! The roasted Brussel sprouts where by far the best Ive ever had!The rooms were confy and clean. Loved the 2 tvs in our room!Staff was super friendly ans accommodating.The only thing they lacked was the little gift shop it was super limited and understocked.

We stayed here at the beginning of February and found it a nice place. We had a jetted run for two in the room along with a fireplace.The bed and linens were very comfy and the room was large and spacious. We liked how close it was to both the wineries, the beach in Cambria and to restaurants and shopping.We had breakfast a couple of times in the on-site restaurant and also dinner once. The service was great and the food fine for a typical hotel restaurant.Front desk staff was amazing especially since they were in the middle of changing their reservation and property management system, which if you are in the industry like we are, is by no means east and is extremely stressful but you sure wouldn’t know it by the front desk team who were helpful, warm, friendly and engaging.We would definitely stay here again.PS: we are hospitality consultants usually brought in by owners to turn their property around we work with massive resorts to small BnBs so we might be less forgiving than other travelers
Me and the wife decided to stay here for our first trip to Paso Robles. The hotel is situated away from the nightlife of Paso Robles, which is 11 st and a little beyond. The drive is about 5 minutes which isn’t too bad, so maybe an Uber wouldn’t be a bad idea as it gets difficult to find a parking spot there.The staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. They were able to answer any question I had and were willing to help. The hotel looks pretty nice itself as does the room that we stayed in. The room was a king deluxe whirlpool and it was pretty spacious for the both of us. We tried out the whirlpool and we were both able to fit in it, mind you we are both pretty big people, so it was nice to enjoy that together.The bed is okay and the fridge keeps stuff cold so that’s a plus. Only small issue I had with the room was that the toilet handle to flush the toilet was a little hard to press down. It felt like I was going to break it every time I pushed on it.I don’t think room service is offered here, and housekeeping is only offered after your third night I believe.The hotel has a pool, a fitness center, and a restaurant (Enoteca).Overall it was a good experience at this hotel.
Arrived at the Hotel and went to room 119. This is not a cheap hotel and we read a lot of good reviews on it. When we entered the room it felt like it was only half cleaned. On a 3-day weekend, they do not have extra rooms. We figured we would have house cleaning clean the room the next day and give the benefit of the doubt. Went to the restaurant (ENOTECA). Maybe this should have been the 2nd sign this was not going to be great. Food was just ok and way overpriced for what you get.The next morning we woke up early to go golf and laying dead in the kitchen area was a cockroach. Glad it was dead but if there is one there is more. Took pictures and alerted the front desk who said they would have someone take care of this and also clean the entire room. I also let them know about the crumbs on the couch, crumbs on the floor, and the dirty floor in the kitchen. They took notes and we went off for the day.Returned 5 hours later just to find that not a single thing was done and had to go back to the front desk where there was no note from the last person I spoke with. Talked with the manager who said he would have it cleaned. Off we went to lunch and dinner downtown. Came back that night and it seemed cleaner than when we left but not that great.The next morning I went to reheat some food and the microwave was never cleaned and was covered in food particles. We alerted the manager again and just left. I will never stay at this place again and the lack of attention from the staff & manager was horrible.
Stayed for 1 night in a king suite. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Cold water in the sink didn’t work. Didn’t want to spend our evening with a plumber.Reported the problem when we checked out, no apology. Asked for a discount, they gave us a $25 credit off a $550.00 room. Front desk clerk had an attitude when we checked in and when I reported the problem. They didn’t seem to care.We have stayed there several times in the past with no problem. Won’t be back again.

Bar, fine dining, meeting and event rooms, its all here.Accommodations are superb, rooms are fastidiously clean and beautiful! La Bellasera staff are so friendly and helpful. Their general manager June is a gem! The coast is 30 minutes from their door, with a winery filled hiway in between! When in Paso or a coastal adventure, this is definitely the place to be!

Lighting in the room is beyond horrible. Yellow Lighting throughout to include bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Toilet water ran constantly, causing it to not flush. I fixed it. Why? The phone buttons (quick dial) to house keeping, front desk, etc. DID NOT WORK.
Our luxury suite had an added window air conditioner that was noisy, the safe and the bathroom scale didnt work. Not what I expected for the price.
Most the staff was great which is why there is any rating at all, but the room it’s self not good . 3 lights were out in my room, the light to clean the room button did not work so my room did not get cleaned at all, there was a hair on my hand soap in the bathroom, on my second day I had issues with my room key, I just would not recommend this place or would ever come back, I even paid double on Expedia, and the food or drinks were not good either, they over poor and food do not recommend either, the city it self I do definitely better places around,
We actually had trouble booking through Capital One, they are a third party, so when we arrived there was no confirmation number for us. Pretty upsetting. So we had to call capital one to call hotel. Everything was settled at the end and the supervisor on shift bumped us up to a suite and a bottle of champagne for our troubles.We loved our stay and will return next year. ♥️
I had a suite that I shared with my 2 daughters. It was missing some furniture and was well overpriced for the value.
Rooms are always quiet and clean. Staff go out of their way to insure a memorable stay. My husband mentioned my birthday when he made reservations and they greeted with a happy birthday greeting and a complimentary bottle of wine. They also upgraded us to a whirlpool suite.Very nice.

Brought my family here and its a nice hotel with all the amenities expected of an upscale place. The staff is friendly and Zache was very helpful with a swearing my questions and handling checkout in. Avery professional fashion. The kitchen suite didnt have any pots so you might have to ask the desk where theyre at if you plan to cook anything. Overall its a nice small hotel and very clean as well. I will stay here again whenever I am in the area.
Short weekend trip to Paso Robles was fantastic. We were in town for Sensorio and decided to book a night at La Bellasera... this hotel and its staff were amazing. Our room was so comfortable and spacious (as well as quiet and clean), and the hot tub in the room just took it to a whole other level! Will definitely stay here again soon. Also, a big thank you to Zack who was just so friendly during our check out.
We didnt even get to check into a room because the moment we walked in we werent welcomed or greeted, we were spoken to rudely. It was a awful feeling for a beautiful hotel, please treat people with respect. Me & my husband left because I was so upset. Not cool. Hopefully well get better staff in the future. The woman was very beautiful but her attitude made her very ugly. 😩
Great overall. Some details as they are minor. I found gum from a previous guest stuck to a lampshade that housekeeping missed. A good reminder in these times of Covid that people can be gross. The tv didnt work and took not only the tech but his manager to fix. Our door cards were constantly having problems. Which for a 1 night stay resulted in 4 separate visits to the front desk because the key cards wouldnt work. Highlights were excellent service by Sarah our waitress in the dining room. The food was good and ambiance was lovely. We decided to have our dessert on the outside patio as a guest with a dog in and out of a stroller was seated inside. This didnt cause us to leave..just relocate which was accomodated smoothly by Sarah. The pool was well maintained and thoroughly enjoyed and if you remembered to bring a towel from your room there was no trouble as none were available poolside.
Nice hotel! Clean & comfy rooms. They have a great bar with a wonderful Paso Robles wine selection. Restaurant has a good and well prepared selection of food. Pool & spa are a must! And came in very handy on a 90 degree day. I would give them five stars except several staff members said we should not drink the coffee! What? I said, this is much needed in the morning for me! Boy were they right! Yuck! Went to Starbucks.
I had a really bad stay at this hotel. The only reason I’m not giving it one star is that the staff are very nice. However, our room had a LOT of problems. The door to the room doesn’t open properly when you try to leave, which is dangerous. In our room, the doors separating the living room from the bedroom had glass panels in them, so light comes straight through. This is terrible when one person is trying to sleep and someone else is awake. The bathtub is in the middle of the room, not in the bathroom, which is weird. At one point we heard loud scraping noises seemingly coming from the walls behind the shower. The toilet also makes a strange sound for a few minutes after you flush it. Overall, it was a negative experience.
The service at La Bellasera, especially Zack and Sheila was beyond compare. We were having trouble booking wine tours and they spent hours helping us. My friend and I had a fabulous trip because of their generosity, professionalism and connections.The rooms were clean and elegant
This place was perfect for a little wine tasting and cider enjoyment getaway. The bedclothes they use are unbelievably soft and fluffy, I was floating on a cloud the whole time. Visiting my fave winery Fableist and Tin City Cider Co nearby, it was the best. I had a great time here, and absolutely loved the view from my room. California is gorgeous, and I love seeing the hills from a top floor room.Everything about it was luxurious, although for such a high star rating, I would have expected way fancier products in the room, such as organic, natural bath products and premium snacks. Commercial big brand soda and alcohol is a disappointment, as well as finding soap with artificial colouring and flavourings that smell like fake cleaning products. If everything was completely organic and natural, it would have been the icing on the cake.Also the restaurant inside had incredible food, so great, I swear it was a gourmet chef behind the scenes. That chicken wrap was amazing!Im sure Im not the usual clientele, but from me, this place was fabulous! Id stay here again, for sure. It looked better than the nearby hotel with a more fair rate for better room. Definitely dont regret booking here.
We stayed at this Hotel for 3 night, our suit with kitchen was very good. The Hotel was under staffed. No cleaning service,and No room service. The lobby smells of grilled meet, noisy out side right by the freeway. Under train staff.
Awesome stay. Dont let negative reviews push you away from staying a night or even several. The rooms, with fireplace, were elegant and well maintained. Beds and carpet floors felt incredibly soft. I would stay again. Only negative, customer service is lacking, no smiles or welcoming, but that is petty to be honest.
A fantastic experience! We spent a few days in the Paso Robles wine country, staying at the La Bellasera Hotel. The entire front desk staff was warm and welcoming, Neeley was a joy to meet and had our room ready even earlier than promised. We opted for a lunch in their restaurant where Brenda and Marguerite served us with one of the most genuine smiles weve seen! The room was spotless, had a great decor and a wonderful mattress! We slept like babies! We had dinner there twice, I believe the bartender was Dennis on the first night and again, top notch service. We only wished we could have stayed longer. Sure, its a bit more expensive than others but here you really get what you pay for! We will definitely be back!
Nothing on the outside of this hotel makes you think it would be anything more than a regular stopover close to the freeway. But inside, the staff and welcoming and helpful, the rooms with soaking tubs are comfortable and relaxing and the dinning downstairs is delicious. Our room had a few faults more than typical that showed some aging, but most everything worked well enough.I liked that there was a separate fridge for guests separate from the mini-bar. Wine tastings nightly in the foyer were a nice touch and got us signed up for a local winery we never would have visited.
Clean and comfortable. Nice looking hotel inside and out. I appreciated the front desk hostess opening the giant front door everytime. We had an Amazing couples massage by tag team, Ale & Julie. Great experience except, they need an additional elevator. Or at least we had to wait for that one for what seem an eternity to get in.
This hotel was impeccably clean and beautiful. Everything about the hotel from the rooms, to the lobby, to the pool just exudes excellence and class. I loved the whirlpool in the room and the breakfast boxes in the morning were a nice touch as well. I cant wait to come back to Paso so I can stay here again.
I truly cannot say enough about this hotel. The room we stayed in was exquisite and clean, not to mention spacious. The in-room jacuzzi was a marvelous way to unwind after a long day and the pool was so refreshing. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in an executive room on the fourth floor and loved it. The room was well maintained and clean. The bathroom was roomy and the showerhead was high enough I didnt have to bend over to wash my hair. Water pressure was on the low side but understandable after years of drought. We had dinner at Enoteca and were very happy with the food. I had the short rib and she had the pork chops and there were zero complaints on food or service. Definitely recommend this place.

The front desk was awesome and gave us 2 extra hours on the house. Seriously we were impressed!!!Definitely where we are staying next time we go to the Vino robles winery to see another concert!
Very disappointing stay. The room was dirty. Even my 5 year old noticed how dirty the tub was. Fireplace didn’t work. One of the tv’s didn’t work. No one at the front desk cared at all.
Disappointing - we have stayed at this hotel a number of times, and always enjoyed it - great bar and restaurant, big comfortable rooms. Well, we booked online and were looking forward after a long drive, to unwinding at the bar and having a nice dinner. When we checked in, we found out the bar and restaurant were closed for renovation. It would have been nice if it had been obvious on the Web site - there was a notice buried in a link. The room we were given had a broken clock and torn curtains - it tooks some effort to get a replacement clock. They offered a light breakfast in the morning, which consisted of awful juice and tasteless pastries. Blah. At least there was coffee. Overall, a really disappointing experience.
First of all, we got a great deal on this hotel, but would pay even more to go back. We had a beautiful suite, bathroom was so gorgeous even my husband commented on it. The pool area is likewise beautifully done.We had already read a lot of negative reviews about the hotel restaurant so avoided it all together by eating in the town of Paso Robles itself, really no more than five minutes away. For those on a budget there is also a chain restaurant, I forget which one, right outside this property.Cant wait to go back.

They use magnetic door lock cards that needed to be replaced everyday over a four day period, seriously not working. The room turn service is slow and behind, waited until nearly 9 pm in the lobby on one night. There isnt much special about the rooms, TV remote only worked from one location and even then was spotty. Parking can be difficult at particular times, there isnt much of it. Pros, the bed was relatively firm and comfortable, bathroom was clean. Not a four star hotel by normal standards, maybe its the region?
We got a good deal on the room, rate was $189 a night. Hotel was in close proximity to many of the wineries we were interested in visiting. It is also conveniently located next to the freeway. My girlfriend enjoyed the bathroom immensely, she was impressed with the drawers in the bathroom especially. We had the room with the jacuzzi and extra room, in retrospect I would have preferred the room with the fireplace instead. One downfall of the hotel was that they have a restaurant on site that is too expensive. They should have gone more mid range on the prices to keep their guests eating on site. Overall, great hotel at a great price.

Amazing place. My wife and I had an amazing weekend. Staff rocked, food was killer. Had a great Baby Romaine Ceaser Salad! The whirlpool tub in our room was so relaxing and chill. I did see an earlier review where someone had wrote There was a bathtub in the middle of my living rom! WELL DUH!!!! Where the heck did you think you were staying? LOL Anywho-great venue. My two friends and I had an unpleasant stay at this hotel in the month of July 2018. We had gone here to relax, and it turned out to be anything but. This place charges exorbitant rates. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Here are the issues we experienced:- The room advertised as suites are nothing like shown on their website. They are merely small rooms, poorly maintained, with a horrible smell when you enter. The carpets are not cleaned of stains.- The spray in the room had my friend coughing through the night. Calling the front desk was of no help. They had no rooms available and had no recourse to make the room free of the nauseating spray.- The extra bed they brought in for the third person in the room, was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. The sofa bed was back-breaking. Once this bed was put in, there was absolutely no space in the room. The room did not reflect a suite whatsoever.- The lighting in the room was almost nil. It remained dark despite turning all the lights on. Two of the lamps were not working. When we asked the help, they said that these lamps have not been working. Not sure if the hotel was trying to save on its energy bills.- The beds seem to have some mites or something that left us itching. I developed a rash from the mite-bites. It took a week, after my return to slowly get rid of it.- The hotel room had food and drink and we were charged $50 (!) in advance on the credit card for this! I was told that this would be given back only after our stay and their checking in case weve chosen to eat and drink the items. This is something no other hotel does, with its customers. This isnt decent customer service. Who charges for something one wont use, in advance?? The hotel bill reflected this $50 even upon our leaving AND stating that we did not touch the snack and drink in the room.- The bathroom had less hand towels. Wed indicated that 3 of us would stay in the room.- I asked for non-dairy items at breakfast. I was told that they just threw away all non-dairy items (milk etc.) because there isnt a demand for it. There were no options for a person who could not consume dairy products, except plain oatmeal.For a stay that was meant to be relaxing at a costly price, this place turned out to be horrible. It isnt worth its extremely costly rates.I strongly recommend that this hotel be struck off Expedias contract.Upon calling to complain via Expedia, the staff indicated theyre sorry for our stay, and that there is no recourse for us. They lacked remorse and showed no accountability of taking care of the issues I had complained about.
This hotel was a great experience. We stayed in the King Whirlpool two room suite. It was spacious and clean. The whirlpool was a very nice touch. Their are two TVs which is nice. The refrigerators however did not work. The front desk was extremely friendly. I recommend this hotel when staying in Paso Robles.
Absolutely stunning hotel. Made a spur of the moment decision to get away solo for a night and La Bellasera was the perfect escape from reality. Highly recommmend the warm stone massage from Julie - she was amazing! Having a whirlpool tub and fireplace in my room to relax even further after my massage was the cherry on top. Everything was perfect: the spa, the plush bed linens, dinner from their restaurant, and friendly and attentive staff. Can’t wait to come back again!

The hotel was in a great location. The staff very friendly and gave us some vouchers for a few wineries. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed was super comfortable. The only negative was super slow wifi.
Waited 3 hours for check in, was not the only guest waiting and other reviewers mention the same so this is apparently the norm here. After we were checked in a housekeeper just let herself in our room unannounced (again other reviewers mentioned this has happened before). The bathroom stunk like a dirty rag and there was pest control dust along the baseboards (roaches? bedbugs?) The room had a few stickers on the mirror and empty water bottles from the last guest. The next morning the housekeepers working in the halls were yelling and not concerned they were disturbing guests. The purple haired “manager” at the desk the day of check in completely avoided any interactions or eye contact. Candice the regional manager I spoke to the next day really seemed more concerned about tending to her monday reports then taking the time to support her desk associates who very clearly have no authority. No one seemed surprised with my feedback. Instead of showing empathy they tried to throw some free food and a free future stay at the problem which I declined since any further business with this hotel will most certainly be a repeat of this experience.
This was an awful place. By the end, we just started making a list of everything that went or was wrong during our very short (thank god), two night stay. There probably would have been not, but we stayed away as much as possible.-Didnt have the room we reserved--someone gave it away, check in guy straight up blamed it on his co-workers.-Weird front desk experience, as we were checking in, the front desk guy complained about money and his home life.-Water cut off in the middle of my shower--no warning. Front desk seemed unconcerned and spaced out, had no real information, never followed up with us-Broken ironing board-Very poor room and bathroom lighting. Has nobody ever been in here?-Restaurant closed because it was being renovated, but no evidence of this renovation. No information shared at check in about alternatives.-Pool desperately needs cleaning. Hot tub was lukewarm.-No sheers in window-- just gone. Can see where they took them out.-Didnt try gym after all this. Its super tiny, not state of the art as advertised. Pretty sure cardio equipment was from last decade.Asked desk about laundry. They literally said what about it?. Had no laundry detergent, offered us a dryer sheet. Said they ran out yesterday. When asked when they would have some, they shrugged and said probably not until later??-It is very clear that the front desk clerks have never been trained. When approached, they just kind of blankly stare at you.To the owners:YOU NEED TO FIRE YOUR MANAGERS. IF YOU ARE THE OWNER AND YOU ARE MANAGING THIS YOURSELVES, STOP AND HIRE A PROFESSIONAL MANAGER WITH EXPERIENCE.AVOID THIS PROPERTYDate of stay: October 2019
I stayed with my girls that are 12 & 14 years old and are particular about amenities and fluff, they loved it and cant wait to go back. The room was very comfortable and an extremely good value. The view wasnt that great with the location and it didnt matter at all. There are options for secluded places for the views, I preferred centrally located since we did so many activities during our stay. The best part was the refreshing hospitality shown by Carol Ann and Heidi at the front desk. Kind, knowledgable and not in a hurry to push you out the door or to your room. Great experience and good times.
This of place is amazing. From the service to the room, the money is worth it. The tub was clean and carpet was so soft. The bed was comfortable. And bathroom had all the amenities you can think of except slippers. I will go here again next time Im in Paso Robles
Zack and Erin were absolutely amazing, very hospitable and went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was one to remember. Erin was the first person I spoke with over the phone and she was very welcoming and upfront with the policies they had during the COVID crisis, and once we got there to the immaculate lobby, Zack (who after a few interactions informed me he was the new manager for the hotel) was more than accommodating for any request for a very memorable birthday,
This was going to be the most important weekend of my life so everything had to be perfect. When we showed up to the hotel this beautiful hotel and resort exceeded our expectations. I needed help setting up the room to propose to my girlfriend and the staff was very excited to jump in and help and accommodate me in any way possible. The room ended up being set up to perfection with the help of Justin from the front desk of the resort and I would like to thank him personally for making this the most memorable experience and want to thank all staff members that helped as well. The suite was very clean, spacious, nice jacuzzi, huge bathroom and shower, and very comfortable and relaxing stay at this resort. Will definitely be coming back yearly to celebrate our anniversary in this beautiful resort. BTW...... She said YES.

We were given a nice big suite in this nice big hotel with a lovely lobby (and, oh, the doors of their wine cellar!) and we felt quite comfortable and content at this hotel along 101. I wish some sort of breakfast had been included.
I was extremely disappointed when I attempted to check in yesterday. We have been to this hotel several times and absolutely love it. I called on the phone personally to make reservations for this trip. I did this purposely because all of the rooms are unique and because we travel with a service dog. I made the known to the person who took the reservation. We’ve taken our service animal to this hotel previously without any problems. As a matter fact we used to walk in and out through the front lobby and they would cheerfully say good morning to us. That was not the case this time. When I came to check in I was greeted nicely by the manager named Lucas who started to check me in. He was reviewing the features of the upgraded room that we had reserved. He then asked me what type of service my animal provides. I explained that she is used for emotional support. It was at THAT time he informed me that emotional support animals are not allowed in the hotel. I looked at him incredulously because I thought he was just joking, but he again repeated what he said. This occurred at 11:30 at night after we had driven six hours to get to this destination. I was forced to scramble around at 11:30 PM in a small town trying to find a hotel room for us and our small 10 pound YorkshireTerrier. I was mortified. I am a physician and work very hard and look forward to spending time in a very nice property. Unfortunately that was not to be the case last night. I’m truly disappointed in this hotel that used to be exemplary in service.

Very nice, large rooms. Parking lot is small, we had to park on side street. Location is pretty good and close to wineries and downtown Paso. Breakfast at the restaurant was really good. Best eggs Benedict ever.
Outstanding hotel. Very luxurious and great value for the money. Desk staff is absolutely first rate. We had a terrible experience with the restaurant at lunchtime the only day we ate there, unfortunately. But that wouldnt keep us from staying here again.
Hmm. I would go “ neutral” to them.I totally appreciate to their staff. The management should pay them more.Their staff is amazingly FANTASTIC.Kind, Friendly, and full of professionalism.They made fresh coffee, prepared extra bed promptly with smile, and so on. Also facility was perfectly clean at that time.But. For me, their website is not so informational, and wine price(hey they locate on a great wine country!) feels have a space to consider “market price”.I think it would be more guest friendly if they could explain features of their room such as room have jet tub or not. I paid + 300 box/night, because their picture showed in room jet tub, but actually I got a shower booth.Also they charged 50 box(not 15) to a can (not bottle, now we have canned wine) of Pinot Noir at the room bar. I think I had to got BevMo just in front of the facility...

Very poor customer service. We had to cancel our stay due to an illness in the family. Our credit card was still charged and the management refuses to return our calls. They must have continuous meetings at this hotel because the managers are in meetings all day long. If there was a rating below one star, I would have given that
What a GEM! My husband and I along with 2 other couples spent two nights at this wonderful retreat. The hotel is beautiful and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. the restaurant Enoteca is absolutely fantastic, All six of us had meals that were delicious and our server was incredible. She picked up on the fact I needed to eat gluten free and offered suggestions and made modifications in the kitchen; she even recommended incredible wines! We visited several wineries and had one of our best mini vacations thanks to this wonderful hotel! Definitely a do over, We love Napa/Sonoma, but Paso is now far above Northern California for our top places to go.
Great rooms with comfortable beds. The 2nd mini fridge for personal use is a nice touch, as are the two TVs. The whirlpool bathtub is the crowning glory! :-) Good food in the restaurant. All together made for a pleasurable stay.
Quaint, cozy hotel. Our first choice of where to stay when were in the Paso Robles area. Wonderful bar and restaurant. We didnt have dinner here, but did have dessert at the bar when we stopped in for cocktails and wine. Great wine selection, featuring wines from local wineries.
This hotel is a little bit away from the downtown of Paso Robles but it definitely is the luxury option of the area. The restaurant in the hotel is top notch, (the cedar plank Salmon may be the best ever) there is almost always a daily wine tasting in the lobby. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was reasonable for a top hotel.
Our stay here was true perfection. This was a last minute get away trip to celebrate my husband s 40th birthday. The staff accommodated all my requests and went above and beyond. Zaki in particular set up an itinerary on my husband s actual birthday and took care of most of the necessary arrangement. This is a must for honeymooners and anyone that wants a memorable romantic vacation.
The hotel itself has a very prestigious feel to it. Erin was so helpful and kind she definitely made a great first impression. If you decide on staying here, ask for Erin.

The rooms are very clean with plenty of accommodations and comfortable beds, service is very helpful and accommodating. Even better than the hotel is the bar and restaurant which was superb with an excellent wine list and some good house cocktails.
Beautiful hotel with nice amenities. Service in the restaurant could use improvement. I would prefer our server to make our meal right rather than apologize for its inadequacies. TV remote sensor was broken making it difficult to operate. Door lock key cards repeatedly failed.
Completely rediculous they stop room service on Sundays at 11. Came here for our honeymoon, day after our wedding, slept in and went to order room service at 11:02 am.. only to find out they are closed on Sundays t 11 and do not serve lunch. Would have been great to know. We will never be back.
We reserved our room months prior to our arrival. It was a couple weekend for us, we planned to attend the Castoro Whalerock event. Upon our arrival at almost 1030-11 pm, my husband asked what time does the bar close because it wasnt open. He was told it was closed for renovations until October! We were so tired we just didnt say a word. At 230 am I was awaken by a loud noise, I thought it was the refrigerator but it wasnt & I could not sleep! My husband was so upset & so was I, we both were so tired. I called the desk and complained and Kevin was great, he said a maintenance guy would be looking at it at 10 am etc. and I said how do I sleep until then, can you move us? Kevin said the hotel was booked & that he was sorry. He noted my complaint, but not before me telling him I was very upset about this room noise and that we came for a getaway and that the bar was closed. He said he understood and apologized about the bar AND RESTAURANT being closed! I had no idea both the bar and restaurant was closed so now Im flipped out we paid for a room at a hotel with no ammenities!! I told Kevin I was checking out & was super upset nobody called us prior to our arrival to say their hotel wouldnt have a bar nor a restaurant! We couldve stayed elsewhere in Paso if we knew and all of the area hotels were already booked up!! We arrived at the desk in the morning & spoke to Aiden. Aiden & I had spoke in the morning prior to our arrival at 830 & again at 930, as I was checking to see if we could check in early before we went to the Whalerock. Aiden said the hotel was booked & most people still hadnt checked out but asked if he should call me if my room becomes available? I told him yes please, and never heard from him. Im mentioning all if this because my opinion of desk relations was poor. Aiden did reimburse us for most of the 2 day charges however he needed the Managers approval for the last $90 & said he would call me as aoon as he was given the approval. I asked for a folio showing our credits and it really wasnt clear to us that our 2 day stay was credited properly. I trusted Aiden that he would call me on Sunday to tell me my credits were all applied because he said he would. I received no phone call. On Monday i left our hotel we found to stay in & drove to La Bellasera to see if my final credit was approved. As I enter the hotel, I see Aiden at the desk, and I said do you remember me I never received a call from you? He then said, oh I did call it probably didnt go through? I asked what time did you try and call me & he said 2:30. Im pretty technologically savey so I pulled my Android out and said, look my missed calls show no call from the hotel! Aiden is quiet, but assures me he zerod out my folio and I asked for a copy. The personal time I spent with my ruined accomodations, the disappointment, the lack of desk service (except from Kevin) our weekend wasnt as we imagined it to be for us, and I blame La Bellasera for ruining it for us. I think not calling ME to advise me that the owner decided to just unexpectedly renovate the bar & restaurant BUT STILL TAKE MY MONEY for our planned reservation, was purely intentional to do to guests, in order to take their money and not tell them until they arrived!!
The staff are all VERYA NICE. They went above and beyond for us. The beds are so comfortable best sleep I have had in a while. The suite with the whirlpool tub was amazing
THIS HOTEL IS NOT what you think! You wont get any luxury just lies. We never got anything that was told would be left at front desk. Service is TERRIBLE. We made reservation there because it was pretty and it is pretty, but we were overcharged by $100 for reservation ($300 instead of $200), and people at the front desk were the most UNFRIENDLY and UNCARING To resolve any problems...the manager is NON EXISTENT to resolve any issues, we asked 2 days in a row for one and were always told NOT HERE.....Now i have to go thru my credit card company to fix $100 mistake....ALSO they did not come thru with any promises, like to leave coupons for free admission (or 2 for1) to wineries.....much better to stay at another place where you can actually get service
This is our third stay at La Bellasera and have loved every visit. They rooms and great, the staff friendly, and the Enoteca restaurant is fantastic. Perfect pairing for our Paso Robles wine tasting trips!
Great rooms, friendly staff, and great central location for the wineries in the area. Not a lot to do within walking distance, but only a 7 minute drive to the Downtown area of Paso Robles.

My husband and I went for a night on our way down from Santa Cruz. When making the reservations through Expedia, there were some problems. Carol Ann from La Bellasera noticed that Expedia had not cancelled my reservations (after I found better rates on the hotel website and scheduled) and called to alert me. In addition, she also contacted Expedia herself to request a cancellation of those reservations. Upon arrival, she greeted us, apologized again for the confusion and offered an upgrade (in addition to a bottle of champagne). The room was beautiful, comfortable, immaculate, and absolutely quiet. The rate was very competitive but the room far exceeded others where we had stayed. Hotel dinner was good but somewhat overpriced. Overall, the experience was wonderful and we will recommend the hotel to friends and definintely stay there again.

Ive stayed here several times in the last couple of years and Ive always enjoyed my stay. The rooms are nice and the restaurant is excellent!! Its a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Friendly staff, clean accomodations and top notch customer service. We were there for a small service planned out by my daughter for some friends. The manager and staff had everything set up and all ran very smoothly.
The entrance was very elegant and there were people greeting us and guiding us to the meeting. The meeting room is on the left when you walk past the front desk. The room holds 20+ people and water if offered.
The staff was friendly and the rooms were very nice. My wife planned the trip and I was very surprised at the quality of this hotel. I would definitely come back on my next trip to the area.
Nice room but noisy at night making it hard to sleep. Complained and all they could say was You must of been on the second floor, it sits over the lobby so you here everything. which was a bunch of drunk people partying in the lobby all night after everything was closed.

Me and my husband stayed here for my birthday. We live here in Paso right down the street. We stayed 2 nights and hung out by the pool and went to my birthday dinner at Enoteca . WOW. Food and service was amazing . Thank you Tyler for one of my best birthdays ever.

It is 10:30 PM in the evening and I cannot sleep because of loud noise coming from the lobby. A group of people making huge noise in the lobby area for more than an hour and no one is doing anything about it.

We had a large group head to the hotel bar after the wedding and the bartenders were very accommodating and knowledgeable as well as putting up with our shenanigans.
I attended a social event at the hotel. The room and hallways around the room the event was in was very clean. I did not experience any more of the hotel. It was acceptable for the event held there.

I went to their restaurant since it is the sister company of Hampton Inn, the food was good but they basically threw my Korean bbq tacos in the box...I had to use a fork to eat my tacos...I did have a pic but I deleted it
The Hotel was good but I had my car was broken into at the hotel and my third row Denali seat was taking. $2,500 new $845 E-bay The police told me this is the 4th seat taking in the last month and there is a half way house right behind the hotel.

Rooms are nice and spacious however at night when youre laying there in the dark room you look at the door you can see light coming through it then it turns out that the doors dont lock whenever you shut them show me can walk up to the door and push hard and the door will open on them the wet bar you even touch an item in your build Sky High for it even though you have not utilize the service room service and extra towels very Timely I could have went down and did it myself 3 times wasnt really impressed with what I spent for the service I got

Came here for training. Once I arrrived, it took me seconds to check in. The rooms are very nice and well kept. I did not know they wete so many vineyards, next timw I am bringing the wife.

First class Hotel still cant pronounce the name the restaurant is exquisite really loved the pork chops there and the fish very romantic

2023-10-20 18:10:45The hotel had a strong chemical smell the days we stayed there. We opened our rooms window to try to air it out.The location is not walking friendly.Other than the nice young man, the people at the reception were unpleasant. I asked if I could leave my bags on our last day after check out and the lady acted with disdain like this was an unheard of type of request and made a fuss about our bags. It was an unpleasant interaction and we left worried about our bags (they were entirely OK when we picked them up!).The whirlpool was nice to use though! If youre a tub person it may be worth it.

2023-07-22 23:59:59Positive: ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING! Our room was a perfect size, very comfortable and really beautiful! We loved sitting on balcony to enjoy late evening cool breezes. Celebrated our 40th anniversary & was overjoyed to get away from the daily grind! Negative: One thing lacking, was the cleanliness of the carpet. We were quite shocked to feel small bits of food crumbs in the carpet when we took my shoes off (bdrm & living area) after check-in. Someone definitely dropped the ball vacuuming :(

2023-07-15 01:30:20Advertised as a luxury hotel. My husband took me to Paso Robles as a birthday surprise and we were both extremely shocked when we pulled up to the dirt lot hotel. The room was even more disappointing when we opened the door to the hard smell of vomit. It was 80 degrees in the room with the loudest air conditioning. We tried to change rooms and the front desk had a lot of attitude when inquiring. We had dinner at their supposed 5 star restaurant- it was inedible and extremely overpriced. I wish I would have just stayed at the Adalaide inn for a quarter of the price- the rooms are clean there! This room reeks and the furniture looks old and dirty

They forgot to replace the face cloths on the second day. I was chargespd $3.00 for the small bag of pretzels which was the size of the snack pretzels on an airline flight.

2023-03-29 03:53:04This is now our favorite hotel to stay at in Paso Robles. The staff is always friendly and helpful, we feel very welcomed! The rooms are clean, tasteful and the beds are comfortable. The jacuzzi suite is amazing!We love the restaurant downstairs. Excellent food and the bar is worth a sit. Just an all around great hotel.

2023-06-10 03:30:28This is a great location and a very nice hotel! The only issue is all the rooms are lighted with old CFL light bulbs that are so dim we could not read by their light. I hope they upgrade to LED lights soon.

2023-04-24 12:19:15This is advertised as a luxury hotel. We have stayed in many and this is not one. Positives: Staff very friendly and restaurant pretty good. Negatives: Toilet wouldnt flush, bed hard as a rock and worn out and A/C would not work. Had to leave window open for room to be tolerable. Internet went out as well and could not check out. Was told they would email receipt but no email has been sent. For the price point, you would be better to stay at the Hampton Inn directly behind La Bellasera or the other chain motels around.

2023-09-08 13:00:49The staff was so RUDE. The hotel is super loud and beds are terriblly saggy. The guy at the frint desk was so condescending and rude I couldnt believe it. Never coming back. Might as well have stayed at the Hampton inn. No difference....
