It was recommended by a friend.There were 16 hungry people of our group. Crowded .. that says a lot about the place. Talked to a local, Val, whos been coming here for 30 yrs.Highly recommend.Patiently, got our table. Chips n Authentic salsa sauce was great.Time to order .. servers were very busy.Food came ... Big plates n nicely presented. Big portions.I ordered Chicken Enchiladas with Green sauce .. very tasty .. the rice .. tasty but salty .. beans were great.My husband ordered 3 items .. Enchilada, relleno n Taco .. hot mushy Bec of sauces around it.4 of our friends .. ordered the 5 pcs .. ( order you want ) big plate for 2 people .. $28.00 .. great value .. some to take home for another meal.Great experience n great food.

Ive only ever had the mojarra frita and the campechana, and both were absolutely delicious. The portions are ridiculously large for the price you pay. The food is quality and delicious. Service is fast and the staff is very friendly. Also the very first place my BF took me to when I came to visit the first time pre-pandemic, so its extra special.

First time here and service was good and pretty quick. Got a Fajitas super burrito 🌯 that was about a foot long and 4 inches wide! It was $17 and could not finish it all. Salsa was more of a watery, peppery (Like black pepper) taste. Margarita was just ok for the $12 that it cost. Overall, not a bad place but a little pricey.

Been there a few times after moving to this beautiful town. The food is great and the portions sizes are huge. You really get your money’s worth here. Also this place is always packed so make reservations. We always walk in and have to wait 30-40 minutes to get seated.

Have you ever walked into a place and it just was so full of positive energy? Well if you havent, go to La Cabaña. The staff is full of happy vibes. Go early too! Right after we got there, the line started building by 6pm.The portions are gigantic! They do not mess around here! The rice is fluffy and tasty. The refried beans have so much flavor. Did I mention the free chips and salsa? The surf and turf fajitas were yummy as was the chili relleño! And of course the watermelon margarita was refreshing!We will be back to try more items! Ive been coming to La Cabaña for around 30 years. This is the best Mexican restaurant, in my opinion, in California. My father (Mr. Cymanski) taught business classes at Armijo HS. Ramses (owner) was one of his best students. Thank you for keeping your food and atmosphere authentic to your Mexican culture.

Went in for Taco Tuesday and chose the ~ All you can eat: Street Tacos ($22) With a side of refried beans and rice. The tacos were just okay, took a while for them to come out which was expected as it was busy.The chips that you get before you eat were good, the salsa was just peppery water and dripped all over the table/your shirt & fingers.The music is VERY loud. Parking is fine but the area has plenty of pot holes so drive carefully.May come here again and try something else next time.

Weve been known to drive 26 miles from Napa County to dine-in and take-out our favorites. Reasonably priced Yummy food. Portions big enough for two meals. Thumbs up Tasty: Chicken Chimichanga, Shredded Beef Tacos, Fish Tacos, Carne Asade Fries and their Quesadillas :) I also buy extra chips and salsa for later.

Great little place! Lots of options on the lunch special plates, and the portions are quite large. Everything was delicious, and for me there was enough to make two meals out of my one plate! Excellent fast service, and there is a dining room area as well as a bar area. Food is served in both. Good vibes in a casual fun atmosphere.

Yum! This place was so so good. I highly recommend coming here. The environment was great and they were not shy on the burrito size! The homemade tortilla chips were still warm and the perfect combo with their salsa. The tomatillo sauce was out of this world 🤤Every server that helped us had amazing customer service! There were so many drinks to choose from and several TVs to watch sports.

Mixed emotions. Some of the food ordered was good and another wasnt edible (fish taco). The service was great and the price was reasonable. However, the noise level was so loud (especially the birthday song...actually could rupture an eardrum if done over you) it was hard to hear the people we were with. I cant imagine an older crowd going. Im unsure if they have take out. That is likely the only way I would try it again.

This Establishment is terrible for military and groups because of their customer service. We had a going-away with 12 people and 2 kids. When I arrived, I told the waitress I was ordering my chimmichunga to go because I had to leave ASAP. Im the last person to get my food which was fine because I was the last to arrive. As she hands me my food in a to-go, I hand her my card so I can pay and leave. She dismisses me saying we dont separate tickets and abruptly moves on to the next table.Once we flagged her down again, I explained to her that I dont have time to wait with the group and thats why I ordered mine to-go. She repeated that they dont separate orders. I asked her if she can just cancel the order and then ring me up by myself. She said the system wont let her separate orders. I told her well then just cancel my order because I have to go. She took the food from me and left.Its frustrating, because she knew my order was to go while everyone else was dining in. Additionally, she lied to me. If she was able to cancel an order, there was nothing preventing her from ringing up my order separately after canceling it. It wasnt a system issue it was a customer service issue.My unit has a number of going aways often and as a foodie I am always telling people places to get good food at various prices. I will be sure to tell people about the poor customer service at this establishment and Ensure we never have to deal with it again.

5 stars plus! This place has never let me and the family down. Everything from the chips and salsas to burritos. Meats are cooked perfectly and servers are all attentive. I’ve taken my family here 4 times in 2 months. The atmosphere is awesome too.

The food is generally very good. I dont think Ive ever had a complaint about the food. The service is always slow. Generally there is a wait to be sat. But the time waisted waiting on the kitchen is generally a miserable lag. Some variety in music would also be helpful. The floor/table layout is crowded.

Food was good. Service was good. Crowd was pretty loud so dont worry about taking little ones there and disturbing people. Portions are huge so if you have a good appetite, this is the place for you. I had the Tacos Tapatio. Two with Carne asada and two al pastor. It comes with cilantro and onions, grilled onions and whole pinto beans with chorizo.

Great spot for classic Mexican food. Friendly staff. Huge portions. I take leftovers and end up with 1-2 meals after. My favorite is the protein bowl with 3 types of meat, avocado, beans and rice topped with sour cream and salsa.

I wasnt really impressed with my food. The Tamales was super thick..all massa and very little meat, the crispy taco was was hard (would have thought it would be more flaky) and the enchiladas were just ok. Good place to eat. Great atmosphere, great bar and great service. Flat screens everywhere to watch your favorite team play. The wait time however can be up to 25 min when busy and you cant call ahead to make reservations. Its first come first serve here.

My family & I visited La Cabana today, 8-25-21. We had Cheese Enchiladas, Sope, and a Burrito.Everything was outstanding! The Guacamole was wonderfully flavored and the White Jalapeño sauce was tasty, albeit, too tangy for my taste.La Cabana isnt known for its customer service, but our server was very nice & attentive.To me, La Cabana has THE Best Mexican food Ive ever had! Bar none. The Enchilada Sauce is to die for, the Rice is excellent and the Beans are out of this world! The salsa is flavorful, and on the Spicy side like I like it.The burrito was ginormous, the Sope was big, and the Enchiladas had a ton of cheese in it. In other words...the portions were very generous! If you leave hungry, its your own fault.The facility was clean and well maintained. Which is a good sign for their customers.There is an attached bar, yet family friendly.Bottom line....I cant recommend La Cabana enough. If youre in the area, its a Must try.I just wish I lived nearby so I could go more often.

I had the mango salad with grilled chicken. I expected fire grilled, so i missed the grill taste with chicken. Still it was tasty. The salad was fresh and the avocado and cotija made it!! I highly recommend thia dish, next time I will try the shrimp!! The mango salsa was a savory with perfect balance in sweetness. My fiance had carintas plate with camarron de ajo. The plate was fit for a king! The carnitas are the best in town! Shrimp was smothered in garlic—just how we like it. Excellent service too, the gal was friendly and helpful. If I could give this place six or seven stars I would. I don’t care if they’re faking, the staff gives off the feeling that they enjoy being there, enjoy serving the food/drinks, enjoy spending time with each other. Whatever it is, it’s noticeable and trickles down to every aspect of the experience. I had the green eye margarita which was incredible. The menu is expansive and enticing but I opted for a quesadilla because I am a degenerate.*EDIT - upon reflection they did not offer me water:water refills often enough, knocking this place down to a solid 5 (from a 6 or 7)

This place is great, they never flinch when we show up in a group of 20 and the wait is never stupidly long. Toss in the free chips and salsa and you dont mind waiting. They have large portion sizes, a lot of the menu can be split between 2 people and youll still get enough.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this restaurant! We’ve been meaning to try it for some time since pre Covid-19 and we finally made it in. The service was great, so friendly and accommodating especially after refusing a high chair & booster only to find out half way through dinner we actually needed one (gave our 4yo too much credit 🤣) the food was amazing the drinks we literally perfect, can’t think of one “eh” moment. We will absolutely be coming back and bringing all our family next time!Also thank you for implementing all guidelines without making it feel weird or over the top stuffy where it feels uncomfortable to even be in there. I love this place! Gorgeous murals on the walls and decorations. The plates are enormous! My picky eater daughter enjoys the beans and rice here and we often get it to go when we are fishing in the slew. Last time I went I went with my grandmas assisted living outing and they had just opened. The waitress was attentive and came back often to refill coffees and waters. Since they were slow they were able to break up our check which they explained was no problem right now- but on a busy night would be difficult to do. (Completely understandable!) I got the vegetarian burrito this time and I would get it again. There was the perfect mix inside the burrito where you could get all the flavors unlike some places where the big burritos you get pockets of just rice. It is so big you have to eat it with a fork! My grandma didnt find her margarita that strong but they were tasty. Chips were fresh which I always appreciate. The host held the door for my grandmas walker which I found to be kind. I will be back many more times.

My first dining experience in Suisun and Im happy with the decision. What I liked: the atmosphere was fun and loud and friendly. The nachos were loaded with goodies, and I was happy with the price of $13. What I didnt like: Margaritas were watery and not very much tequila but for the price of $6.75 I suppose it lined up. They forgot to put cheese on the nachos and drowned it with too much refried beans. Also, the place could use a good cleaning, its very dusty. Overall, I really liked the bar area with the many tvs and the whole football vibe. The staff was helpful and friendly and the food and drink were good. I will definitely be back!

The quality of the food here is exceptional even down to the small house salad picture attached. If you like jalapenos and spice you should definitely try the jalapeno sauce with your burritos. I recommend you order it on the side in case it is too spicy no sense in wasting a good burrito. However, if you order a burrito make sure you bring your appetite with you.

I was upset at myself for not coming here sooner. Im a shrimp burrito guy and was pleasantly impressed with the behemoth of a burrito I recieved. As you can see, the shrimps are huge, succulent and flavorful. Not fishy tasting either. I will return whenever the wife is feeling Mexican thats for sure. If youre looking for a great, not good place to go, then La Cabana is where to go. Oh! Service was unparalleled, quick and responsive as they are in tune with your eating experience. I have been going to LA Cabana since 1990 when they were located a few blocks down the street in like what I call a shack. I moved from San Francisco and grew up eating from tons of Mexican Restaurants in the city, but my favorite and heart will always be LA Cabana it is truly the best and feeds my soul everything. Service was good, but do to how busy they were on a Saturday night, it did take a little time for some requests. But not a major ding on their status. Go check it out and enjoy a great meal!

We had La cabaña cater a birthday party for my husband on January 15, 2023. The food was fabulous, the delivery service was so professional and seamless. They were on time to the minute, they set everything up and we’re all finished within 20 minutes. Our guests raved about the food! I lost a bet, and had to take my boyfriend wherever he wanted to go for lunch. He chose La Cabana, and I was really glad he did. Our waitress was attentive, and friendly. The drinks and food were delicious. The servings were huge, and we both took home enough food to have another meal. The prices were reasonable. The only drawback was the table of 15 men, who were seated next to us, were VERY loud, and drowned out our conversation numerous times. But, they were there to enjoy a meal, just like us, so I guess we cant fault them for that. We will definitely go back again, and I definitely recommend La Cabana.

I’ve been coming to this place for years.This was the place to eat with my family every weekend. Sadly to say it’s not anymore. The food is great when it’s not being rushed out the kitchen. There’s one hostess that just kills your total vibe with the attitude she gives. Some of the servers that were awesome are gone.Some servers pick and choose who they want to be nice too.The servers at times take way to long to get to your party. Also while your waiting to at least get your drinks other guests that were seated way after are already getting their order. This was a place I recommended to a lot of people before. Now I don’t.

Been here twice and both times it was the best Mexican food Ive ever had. Their portion sizes are huge and you get free chips and salsa. All of the food tasted homemade including the horchata. The staff is also friendly. The only downside is that we had to wait an hour before being seated, but thats just because they were busy. They do everything they can to get people seated quickly. They even have text alerts and a website where you can see how many parties are still ahead of yours.

I was recommended the place by a friend, he hyped it up for me about how great the place was... I arrived around 5 & had to wait about 40mins to be seated. The waitress seemed as tho she didnt want to be there, I asked for no avocado as Im allergic to it but seemed as tho she forgot because when I got my dish it was topped with it... the ambient inside didnt give me a feel of comfortable dining. The tables are all kinda close & just spread on the floor, I cant really describe it but it seemed cheap & not fancy? The food was simply just an OK. Very impressive environment, much like a large sports bar with all the TVs and games going on.. 55 minute wait on a Friday night which was fine. This is an interesting place. I have been here twice and each time initially service is slow but picks up and is slow at the end. The food is good and comes out fast as most good Mexican places do. The best authentic Mexican food in the area. The portion sizes are HUGE, and the food is GREAT. They are usually busy but get you in quickly. They have a separate bar ... separate from the main restaurant but still open to the restaurant. There are multiple TV sets that usually have the big football games on. The restaurant is very noisy and not a place to go if you want intimate conversation but is the place if you want excellent food. They have a childrens menu and offer the kids crayons to color their menu upon arrival. Waitresses are very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for authentic Mexican food.

The michelada was amazing! Highly recommend their surf and turf burrito (we like ours wet with the jalapeno cheese sauce), hubby likes to get the Las Primas plate which was 3 enchiladas. Weve tried the ceviche tostadas and tacos and werent disappointed.

We just showed up there to eat, we walked in the front and stood there 10 minutes. Many employees looked at ya and never came to greet us. We had someone finally come over and tell me thirty minutes to wIt for two people. There were 4 tables empty. We already waited 10 minutes to be told that. We left and after that and not being greeted we will not spend our money there ever again. Our family would come once a week. That will not happen anymore. Good food but not service!
