We stopped there on our way home from Paintball USA. The service was amazing, the food super tasty and the portions huge! We sat on the patio outside, and were surprised to find hand sanatizer and alcohol wipes on our table. These people know how to take care of their customers! Absolutely a must, take a drive too no matter where you are at right now head over here with family and friends the hospitality and amazing service is freaking great. You can tell these people love what they do and the salsa and bean dip as we say in the ghetto, ijole no mammes carnal. Very delicious.... Hey did I mentioned the Micheladas😌😌😌😛😛😛 very tasteful. Great fresh food! I was at the restaurant with 4 friends and all ordered different things. We all enjoyed the food. Burritos, tostadas, and fajitas. The wait staff were all courteous and made minor substitutions without hesitation.

The food was ok. $18.95 for a cheese poblano 1 and 1 enchilada cheese. You have canned beans and rice with vegetables. Also a salad which was the best part of the meal. Serve seemed like we were bothering him with our order.$4.25 for tea!!!!! Regular unsweetened tea.My brother did say his chicken salad bowl was good. It was the size of a bowl for $11.95.The playe came out so hot. First time I could not touch a plate.

La Cabana is delicious!They start you off with chips, salsa, and beans. Those beans are amazing. You can tell theyre made with chorizo.The food is good, we all enjoyed everything we had. The service is speedy and friendly. The atmosphere is typical for this kind of restaurant, its also clean inside. No sticky tables!

First time here and I can honestly say that food and service was amazing. The waiters are so attentive and always checking in with you to see if you need anything. Also recommend different alcoholic beverages that we could order. We ordered a strawberry margarita, raspberry margarita and a corona Michelada all of the drinks were delicious and tasted like alcohol. The salsa and chorizo beanns with tortilla chips were fresh and very tasty. Highly recommend to come and try this place out.

We were visiting Acton, Ca, and met some friends for lunch at La Cabana. We hadn’t seen each other for a long time and were catching up. We probably stayed an hour or so after we finished paying. The restaurant staff never told us to leave and we appreciated it very much. The food was so delicious. Thank you La Cabana!

The food was good and the portions were large but definitely not what I would consider a one dollar sign place. Id rather pay less and have smaller portions because a lot of things dont reheat well. If youre in the area by all means stop by, I just dont think this place is really memorable.

This is a great little neighborhood place. The staff greets everyone and and the margaritas and chips are served quickly. The food is good and the portions are large. The place usually isnt busy at opening and can accommodate large families or groups.

A great covid survival story. Once threatened to close down but survived with the help of our communities support. Now it appears to be thriving once again. Oh and the Mexican food is delicious and affordable. To get started tgey serve a delicious bean and salsa dips with hit, fresh corn chips then we had the appetizer sample platter which was huge and only $14. We had to take most of it home to enjoy the next morning for breakfast with eggs. My wife had the grilled fish tacos which she loves.The bar makes a mean margarita as well. Ole!Congratulations La Cabana for surviving the crisis and continuing to serve our communities dinning needs.

I really love this restaurant and how based it is, a old gem. Even tho I’m still young and I basically wasn’t alive when it was first opened, they have varieties of Mexican foods. This place is a good place to eat for a night out or a brunch.

1st time eating here 6/25/22, I was surprise there was quite a bit of people eating. For a small town this restaurant gets quite a business. We ordered the shrimp cocktail and 1 crunchy beef taco. The shrimp cocktail was good and had plenty of shrimp in it I think it was fresh. The beef taco was very good crunchy and the beef was tasty flavorful, I would come back here again. Oh we also ordered mango and strawberry margarita. So the bill total for all that was $ $48 and some change I think it was quite expensive because of the margaritas. They also gave salsa with bean sauce for the tortilla chips. I recommend this place and the staff was pretty friendly and the place was clean. So check it out and enjoy.

Its at a very convenient intersection. Tried the Mole con Pollo and i wasnt impressed. No tenia sabor. The free appetizers of frijoles and Spicy salsa helped make the meal taste better. The staff was really nice and helpful.

I first started going here with my husband and his dad and girlfriend, my father in law lived up the road so they were here often, it was a great spot to us then but when my father in law passed away and, this place is our reminder of the good times we had with him, we come here often and bring our kids, the staff always remembers us, if my husband and I are having date night, they ask about our boys and how they’re doing. I really enjoy this restaurant, the food and margaritas are beyond amazing and the staff treats us like family.

This is a good place to grab some food when you are in Acton CA. The food is decent the prices are according but the service is definitely better than average at least this has been my experience however everything can be improved like the kitchen noise and more frequent visits to the tables but it is worth the try.

Ive coming here for years. Its a great hidden gem right off the 14 fwy. Very quiet and secluded. The Mexican food is great and waiters are friendly.Theyve recently updated the outside dinning to include personal clear bubbles which are cozy during the winter season.

We sat outside in one of the bubble tent tables it was really nice to be out of the wind. And my hats off to La Cabana for coming up with a way too go out to eat and feel completely protected . Never a bad meal at La Cabana. The wait staff its so friendly and they work hard to make sure you are taking care of. Lots of space in the back room for large group. An abundance of chips are provided as an appetizer along with 3 dipping bowls - 2 salsa and 1 refried beans. Serving sizes are generous and I always take home enough for another meal.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Acton CA near Palmdale. I dined there monthly for the 7 years I lived in Acton. Great food, generous portions and reasonable pricing. They offer patio dining, a bar area with 2 flat screens, a family section and can accommodate large parties. We held a few family events there. Some of the staff has been there for years and the owners are hands on and know their patrons. Movies are filmed there occasionally. Family Friendly Environment.

I have eaten there about a dozen times. I also would call for takeout. Everything was always very good. I ordered the same takeout dish of mini tacos for a lunch to share with a friend. It was horrendous. Neither of us could eat it and I ended up throwing it away. I dont know if it was a different cook but it was bad enough that I have never gone back. It was rather embarrassing as I had been bragging about this dish. To be fair, I never told them about it so they could correct the situation. Just never appealed to me again.They are very busy in the evenings so my experience must have been very unusual for them.

Great atmosphere. Music in the bar but not so loud that you cant talk to your friends. Great food. I had the chimichanga, my friend had the enchiladas. We were both very glad to find that the food is flavorful and not over salted. Same with the fresh chips. Only drawback was the powdered sour cream..dont like the texture or flavor. Green salsa was tasty pico de gallo was delicious. Service was excellent. Parking was easy and i will definately return for more items from the menu. So if youre looking for good Mexican food that tastes great with a fun, festive and friendly atmosphere, than this is definately the place. Bravo.

Great service, there was not many people when we got there, right away we were given a choice where to seat, right away they asked what we wanted to drink, chips, beans and 2 salsas w/ chips in table while we got our drinks. Ambiance is relaxed and gives you a sense of going back in time because of the cabin decor, it was shocking to see the inside as the outside does no justice to the inside. There is a cantina side and a restaurant side. We sat in the restaurant side, I asked for menudo without hominy and was pleased to the results they took the time to take out the hominy. Asked for a side of guacamole and it was ok, i say add a little garlic to it and it should be more flavorful, i had a mango margarita blended and i was also pleased to taste the tequila on it, meaning it wasnt more mango pulp than tequila, it was well balanced, kudos to the bar tender or whomever made it. The beans are bomb they have a chorizo taste to them. Price wise it was good not too high not too expensive just great. Definitely will come back again.

I love this place happy hour 3-6 p.m. Monday through friday. The guanabana margaritas are extremely delicious, if you love passion fruit you gotta try this unique fruit margarita. We stopped in on a rainy week-end day this month. Id been there 9 years ago and the carpets were so dusty that was all I smelled for dinner :(. This time the carpets were cleaned and there was not a trace of them in the air. We sat in the bar with stone floors and nice rainy views. The food was fresh (not tasting like itd absorbed the fridge odors) and yummy. I had the chili reona and a cheese enchilada. Service was perfect (not over bearing but right there). There was probably music but it must have fit in so perfectly I dont remember. I love that the owner (lives here in Acton for 8 years) is offering 50% off on menu items 21st and 28th in celebration of 25 years family owned and operated. They also have places for horseback riders to tie off and have a lunch on the patio. Ill be back for sure.

Coming from Houston, Texas I will admit that its going to be pretty hard to impress me with Mexican food, Tex-Mex, or most any variation. But, La Cabana really knocks it out of the park. Everyones food (there were nine of us dining) was cooked to perfection, the drinks were very good, and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. I feel that La Cabana could easily compete in a larger city with more competition and still come out on top. The only down-sides to this restaurant might be the price (its a bit pricy for what it is, but then again what in California isnt?)... and the decor will not appeal to fashion snobs or people who insist on eating while sitting on a glossy pearl-black square of a contemporary chair and pretend that theyre somehow comfortable and enlightened. But then again, this place isnt for those types... so not only enjoyed the decor, but also enjoyed the lack of snobs at nearby tables. :)

A real hidden treasure, at least to those who are not locals. I discovered this place ages ago and have never been disappointed. Everytime I get the chance to swing by here I do, although that is not too often as of late. Store bought tortillas that the heat in the microwave not on the grill. I ask for the corn tortillas to be extra cooked thinking they would toasted on the grill, they extra microwaved them tell they were dry LoL!! They Caritas was also dry like it was reheated in a microwave. The smaller pieces of meat reminded me of beef jerky. To this place fresh is making it in the morning or a day before and reheating it in the microwave. FYI the tortillas are store bought, not hand made :(
