We ordered four tacos - al pastor, carnitas, pollo & birria - and they were all exceptional! The carnitas was some of the best Ive have, though all of the meat was super juicy and tender :)
This place has been great everytime Ive been there! Nice people, fair prices, clean, and the A/C is on. I cant wait to go on a Wednesday for their low price street tacos! My new favorite Mex food place up here!
Been twice and had an awesome experience each time! The service is excellent and the staff are super friendly. Great vibe and the food is amazing. Despite being busy our food came out quick on both visits. A great addition to the neighborhood! Will definitely come back again!

I visited a spacious establishment with a stunning interior adorned with hand-painted murals. The ambiance was enhanced by the pleasant choice of music and the sports being played on the displays. The staff members were attentive and displayed great kindness throughout my visit. The food was outstanding, and I will definitely return to enjoy their diverse menu.
Checked out this restaurant on a late-evening whim and was so, so impressed! The staff were so lovely — it had a really sweet family vibe, and they offered some chips and salsa while we waited for our to-go order. The enchiladas and tacos were delicious and super fresh. It was great to see a menu that had some classic Mexican staples as well as some street food options. Also, great beer selection and a cool artsy vibe. Highly recommend!
I had to come to check it out. Tacos are the way of life. This place smacks! I tried 4 different tacos, 3 types of salsa, and of course some chips. Cucumber lime was delicious. I will be back more!
Glad I found this Mexican restaurant while staying here in Yucca Valley! The food was so fresh and delicious! We had the chicken tacos. Others we saw were having some type of huge bowl of soup that smellled amazing . If I lived here it would definitely be my go to. Oh.. and the place was spotless!!

Tried this place recently. Im a huge fan of authentic mexican food. This place is very good. I have had the carne asada burrito and the lengua burrito on 2 difgerent ocassions and it was very good. Good size burrito. Cant say too much about the atmosphere. Place isnt very big amd the big Elvis mural doesnt fit this place but to each their own at least food is good.
I want to like this place. I tried their food 4 different times. First time I had delicious tacos, I think their opening week. The other times it is not worth the price, especially when they do not wait on you. Inconsistent food. Staff are friendly. The food is sometimes bland and a bit off. I had bacon wrapped hotdogs today, it came out warm, with a small hot dog. The taco stand has better tasting food and hot dogs for a better price.
I was waiting to give our review until after we have been there several times. For the most part, the food is pretty good. We like the street tacos the best. A few items we felt were a bit bland, but we threw this place into our “rotation.” However, the issue we have, is the way the interior is laid out, the music becomes very loud. When we go out eat at a sit-down restaurant, we want to relax and have good conversation. But the music is too loud and usually has a driving beat, which honestly, feels like it is pushing us to rush through our food. Or maybe we are rushing just so we can hurry and get out of there. For this reason, we have taken it off our rotation unless we are getting it to go.
We had the best experience here. The staff is so friendly. The artwork is unbelievable on the walls. The food was to live for! The salsa is amazing. My husband & I have spent years & years going all over the world. We have NEVER had such mouth watering salsa. It really lifted our spirits & souls.

This is THE SPOT for Mexican food in Yucca Valley. Im from LA and having been spoiled with incredible food all my life, its been difficult to find decent food in the area. La Caguama is the best restaurant Ive eaten at in the Yucca Valley area, let alone the best Mexican food Ive had. I know times are tough but I was shocked that there werent more people dining. Please eat here so they stay open! Its legitimately GOOD food.

Amazing, authentic, family owned Mexican. It went from a local taco truck to a great brick and mortar spot. The food and drinks are so good.Unfortunately, the last time I went in the afternoon, the sound system for the TVs was out of sync with the tv image and was way too loud.The bass was cranked up (why for tv?), and it made it impossible to talk (or even to stay long).
Excellent food! Chips and salsa fresh and amazing. Service was great and the atmosphere had a great energy. The interior is beautiful with hand painted portraits all over the restaurant. We will be back soon and highly recommend!!
Best Burrito in the Valley. I’ve ordered the California burrito every time and I’ll do the same next time.Last time I went in they had a special that was $30 for 3lbs of carnitas with rice, beans, tortillas, and salsa.
Great food and great vibe. Had the asada burrito and a pastor quesadilla. Both were incredible. Good sound system so you can hear the music but still have a conversation (not cheap ceiling speakers). Will definitely be going back. Great local family owned addition to the Yucca Valley.

Amazing! We had the Jamaica - perfectly sweet, and not syrupy sweet. Chile rellenos - outstanding. As good as I’ve had in Mexico. Camarones el Diablo - best I’ve had. Huge portions, fast service, great atmosphere.

We have tried all Mexican food places here. Have not been all that impressed till NOW! Wow! This place has knocked it out of the park. Fresh, delicious, and the owners, staff very engaged.. love there attention, talk to customers.
The servers were polite, the overall inside look was ok, it was cold inside the restaurant. It took almost 40min for our food to arrive and to be honest we were disappointed the food was not wort the wait nor the cost. The chorizo quesadilla was not right in taste and just seemed off. The plate presentation left much to be desired with 1 tablespoon of guacamole on top of half a handfull of shredded lettuce with a tablespoon of diced tomatoes and a table spoon of sour cream, just not good enough. I mean if Aldi frozen quesadillas taste better then what they served then that tells you enough. The vegetarian buritto must have had such tiny vegetables it was hard to find them between the rice, black beans and potatoes 🤔 ...maybe the potatoes ate the rest of the vegetables. Then to top it off the burrito was served with pickled carrots in a basket on top of a paper lining that became so soggy it had to be removed.In all honesty if you are charging Las Palmas prices then match the quality of the food cause to be honest I would rate Las Palmas the no 1 Mexican restaurant in Yucca Valley and La Casitas as 2nd best, you guys have a long way to go. I will not be eating here again, and honestly regret not walking out and asking for a refund.

I had the Menudo and it was delicious! I also enjoyed a very delicious michelada. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I cant wait to go back and try the marisco menu and the birria!

Pastor tacos on point!!!!Meat was nice and crispy! Beans and Mayo on the asada tacos were a bit different but a really tasty acquired taste! Definitely coming back soon!

Spent $50 to wait an hour for food that did not meet expectations. The beans were pooling on my plate with to much water the enchiladas were small ate them both in 4 bite total and the only thing with flavor was the rice. So in summary you pay for a wait and eat just the rice.

Save your money go to Taco Bell..It felt like frozen meats used in our fajitas with foreign canned sauce. They dont have menus you need to stand at front to read their items and order at counter..Will not return.

2024-02-17 15:23:50First time visiting. Went on a Thursday evening with a group of friends. Everyone had different dishes & enjoyed their food. I had nachos (chips set aside) and my favorite dish was the jumbo shrimp dish. The shrimp dish is about $20 though flavorful it’s on the expensive side. A huge plus was their mimosa flights which were yummy! I highly recommend and I’ll return. Solid 4 stars.

Dairy free guacamole, no chicken stalk in the vegan rice, and no lard in the beans so customizing is easy. The ambiance was really nice and the staff was incredibly friendly. The food was insanely delicious too! If you’re a local, this will definitely be one of your new favorite spots, it’s going to be mine!

Some stuff was really good like the birria soup but the birria tacos werent good at all. I wouldnt go back. Having to get up to order another drink and having to pay for chips and salsa is just too much.

2024-07-04 18:45:16The service was excellent considering how packed it was, and the gal was very attentive.I ordered the lengua torta, and it was good, but the bottom bread was soaked and fell apart. I would have appreciated a bit more lengua. The onion rings were hard and a bit burnt.The Carne asada burrito (sorry he started eating before pic) had no complaints. It came with a pickled relish on the side. We thought it came with a side of rice and beans ? Maybe it meant in the burrito? We will try it again in the future.

The building use to have a really good pizza place, and I was bummed when they closed. I can tell you I am no longer bummed because this place was fantastic. Keep up the good work. We Will Be Back!

2024-02-02 05:29:03Recently opened, but weve already been there 5 times! Friendly service, great tasting food, reasonable prices. I have tried several dishes so far, and all have been great. My favorites so far are the chile rellenos and the horchata bites for dessert. The place opens early for breakfast and stays open relatively late for the area.

We had six different tacos between us and each was unique and delicious (the quesabirria taco was a standout, definitely get it with the consomme). Didnt catch a photo of the food because we dove in too quickly! The staff was friendly and helpful, there was so much food to choose from, a wide variety of drink options, and just an overall great stop for dinner. Cannot recommend it enough!

Music and atmosphere on point. My SO had the tripa, asada and al pastor tacos. I had the chicken enchilada plate. All so flavorful! Highly recommend!
