Sheeeeeshhh! This place has amazing, simple and delicious plates at a reasonable price. You really can’t go wrong if you’re hungry and want great food. Give them a try, before the word gets out and they get super busy. I believe they recently reopened up again so I was a happy a local business was brought back to life. Enjoy!

The service here is always horrible. The lady at the front desk is rude and does not give you what you ask for. She was on her cell phone and ignored me while I was waiting to pick up my order. I had to ring the bell to get her attention. This time the shredded pieces of chicken tasted rancid, and there were dirt/sand granules in the food. I told /the rude lady, but she didnt care. I wont be back at this place.

I love their rice and Nimoru chicken. Love the sauce they put in the chicken. The bowl that has chicken and white rice is about $8 dollars which I think is very cheap. They make the food pretty fast. It usually isnt very busy the various times I have been there. The agua de Jamaica and Horchata are also very delicious. Parking is always very easy to find. The only thing I didnt like was that the soda fountain wasnt working.

The prices are good, the food EVEN BETTER! We love the nomuraki. We love the food but when it comes to the service it SUCKS. The lady that is at the front is not so welcoming. Her attitude was rude and I felt uncomfortable while ordering.

This place was hit hard by the pandemic and was closed for a while. They now have opened with a limited menu, but still have very flavourful food. The cook is very nice and even if he is busy, he takes the time to greet everyone.

Food is great but the service could not be worse. Sat there for 45 minutes staring at nearly 25 lbs of already grilled chicken yet had to wait 45 minutes to get my order. Cook on shift appeared to only have the capacity to go to the back and bring out a single plate instead of a stack, he did this 5 times and each time he spent 2-3 minutes out back. Ive worked in many restaurants and clearly this could be improved. Said thank you before leaving and cook rolled his eyes, unbelievable. LAST TIME WE EAT HERE

Casanova catered our wedding and they did a wonderful job. After meeting Casanova and loving their food and style, we decided they were the perfect fit. Hector was easy to talk to about planning, and very flexible. We had 4 types of tacos for our guests to choose from, and even just 2 Tacos were very filling. We also had ceviche, chips and salsa to complete the meal. Their prices were very reasonable, and there were no hidden fees for anything. There were over 100 guests at the wedding, and they handled it well. Guests were served on time and promptly, and the food setup was clean and professional. Everyone seemed to love the food, as did we. We would definitely recommend them for your event!

Food was a bit salty. They took a while to cook the food, but I like my chicken well cooked so its understandable. I remember coming here a few years back and the food wasnt as salty. Maybe they over did it this time. The BBQ sauce wasnt that flavorfull. But wasnt bad either. So over all its ok.

Great food. Low prices. Only be prepared to wait 35 to 55 minutes for your food. Cooked fresh by 1 cook. So it takes a while. They also have a food truck. Last I heard at Plaza De Las Americas in San Ysidro. Faster service there.

Food is good if they get the order right, but unfortunately they constantly get orders wrong. I know several people that have stopped going for the same reason. I suggest the owner to look into the staff to improve customer service and sales.

If this is Japanese then I am Russian. Japanese cuisine in essence represents the perfect balance between ingredients. this place is quite the opposite, they make rushed food and saturate your plate with random vegetables with no notion of harmony and restrain, the rice is long grain you cant even enjoy it for what it is... I would call it fusion I suppose but not Japanese.

Ive known this franchise since the late 80s on Mexico. The taste and quality OS the same. Its a restaurant with a fusion between Japanese and southeast Mexican cuisine.

The food is delicious but the wait is usually pretty long. Plan for your food to be ready in 15 minutes on a good day, 20-25 on a normal day, or 30+ on a slow day.

Last night, around 7:35, my wife, daughter and I went to dinner. My wife found out about this restaurant because she grew up in Ensenada and when she found out there was one here in San Diego, she took me to know.Until yesterday we had not had any complaints, since the prices and so on were reasonable to us, except sometimes one of the cooks has a very contemptuous attitude. Just yesterday we had the one who served and he served in a very bad way unlike the others. We arrived and ordered 2 nomuraki and 1 minoru as usual and they told us that we had to wait at least 40 minutes because they had several unexpected orders (which is obvious ) and well it would take a long time... and when discussing it we decided to wait (even though we were in a hurry and hungry).. at the end they had the orders ready more than 40 minutes later and they were missing ingredients (chilis, chives and more teriyaki sauce or whatever). say) that my wife paid to add extra, we noticed the shortage and they told us that they had already put it in (we showed her that it didnt have anything they said) and the girl said that it was probably because they ran out, since When the young man came out of the bathroom, I was going to tell him. When the young man came out, the girl turned away from him to avoid asking until my wife asked her if she could add what she was missing because what she had asked for was nothing... the girl told my wife that She asked the boy because she was scared of the boy because of how he acted and she didnt want any problems because, as a client, it would be better for my wife to ask for it.
