Initial thoughts on this place were sketchy. But once I got talking to owner she made it the place feel welcoming and homie. The food takes a little long to get out but the quality is well worth the taste. It was 2130 (9:30pm) when my family and I got there, so to have gotten fresh cut veggies and fresh cooked meat was amazing. Sadly they were out of tortas when I visited, but that was because they cook the bread in house for the day. When you go and you get to have the torta for me, know its fresh! Overall this place had a great ambiance and service because of the people that work there and poor the heart and soul into it. If Im ever in the area I would visit again.

Middle of the road food with a wide selection, though little garnish or accompaniment - few veggies, no salsa, etc. Sparse decor, no heat. Waited 50 minutes after paying for five plates to be served.

Food is very good. We had sopes, breakfast burritos and coffee. Outdoor dining is basically a covered parking lot. Laundromat next door, kinda odd, but fun to watch.

Absolutely amazing! Food is freshly made to your order (even their bread is made daily) and taste delicious. The customer service is also incredible. They make you feel at home and treat you like family. Will absolutely visit again if we’re ever in town :)

Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service! They were out of horchata and when I mentioned I was from Canada and have a hard time finding horchata, our server went and made us a batch! One of the best restaurants Ive been to!! Go check it out, its AMAZING!

My in laws, husband and I went for dinner after an 8 hour drive and it felt sooo good to our bodies and soul. The food has amazing prizes, as Mexicans, the flavour was awesome, the food was super fast, plates filled to the top and it was delicious, we ate it all!!!We had the three plate option with sopes, enchilada and a taco, my in laws milanesas and alambre, tastes like home and I love that!Highly recommended!

The Chili Rellenos are some of the best anywhere. Im not just saying that. I lived in the Indio area for nearly 30 years and the food out there is pretty good. My buddies do Taco Tuesday every week and have found the Taco scene around here isnt all that great.Well until we found this place. Excellent food the 2 times weve been there.Wouldve gone more except they have been closed when we went by.Otherwise it would be 5 Stars.The chef knows how to cook!

This place is my favorite Mexican food in all of Santa Barbara/Goleta. Family owned and very authentic, I eat here every time I want Mexican food. 10/10 you should eat here!The sign to the restaurant is hard to see though so turn into the Suds City parking lot and it’s right next door to the laundromat.

We just discovered La Guerrerita. Food was fresh and tasty. They even prepared vegetarian refrieds just for us. The owners came out and talked with us. So nice. There is a nice outside area to sit. Not fancy, but really good. Well be back.

We stay at the hotel across the street for work and it’s so convenient to just walk across the street! I absolutely love this place! It’s so homey and welcoming! The owners are extremely sweet as well! The food is so delicious, my bf always gets the chicken enchiladas in red sauce. The tortillas are homemade, the enchiladas have cheese inside with the meat and cheese outside as well. I also try something new and hands down, the mole is so good, the pollo a la diabla is so delicious, I usually ask them for two chicken legs instead of the thighs, it also comes with the most tender delicious potatoes. I just tried the costillas en salsa roja yesterday and dear lord my bf wants that red sauce on his enchiladas now. It was so good! The chips and salsa are good as well, sometimes the green salsa is spicy and sometimes it’s not either way, we handle it and usually always end up eating it all.

Not anything like the pictures. Heres my experience: No chips and salsa on the table, burritos are mostly cheese, and a supreme burrito is essentially pinto beans, rice, protein. No pice, sour cream, guacamole, or ranchero sauce. The water cups had some kind of residue on them and over all a super disappointing experience, especially given these reviews. Save your money and desire for mexican food and go somewhere else.

My family and I came from Orange County & this place was DELICIOUS!!! We came for dinner and then the next day for breakfast. The customer service was oustanding the food took a bit but the wait was worth it! You get tortillas made by hand, the beers were ICE cold & the salsa for chips taste home made. 10/10 I recommend this place you will not be disappointed we ordered quesadillas, sopes, a molcajete, & shrimp tacos everything was super good! Definitely our new spot!

I came here for a family dinner after a hike, and everyone was raving about the fluffy homemade flour tortillas and the Molcajete Mixed. The sauce was flavorful with just the right amount of kick, with a citrusy zest and cheesy garnish and even Nopales as garnish! The owners interrupted their own dinner to kindly provide extra chips, and extra beans and rice for everyone, making us feel a part of their family. Authentic Mexican food with generous servings and an incredibly rich flavor complimented by the assortment of peppers and Nopales. I would suggest this place for hungry travelers and students kicking back after a long day.

I had booked this restaurant for a corporate event. We arranged tacos for 65 people. They quoted me a price and we paid. When the event came, the owner showed up with all the food already prepared. The food was good and everything looked nice. Things started going sideways at the end when the owner informed me that we owed more money because there were more people than what we paid for. I questioned him about this because there was a lot of food still left and there was no way for me to prove anything since so many people had already left. The owner informed me that they brought extra. So why would you bring extra when we paid for 65? This makes it appear that they brought the extra food with the anticipation of charging me and my company more. This is just bad business, especially when you already quoted someone AND you still have a ton of food left. Going forward, my company and I will not be using this restaurant for ANY event in the future!
