The food and service is great. We had Menudo and carnitas. Love this place nothing fancy but great food. Ran into a couple of Fresnos finest having Menudo for breakfast.
Went here for lunch. Food was excellent! They make it fresh when you order. The owner was very friendly and likes to give warm hugs lol!
Google this place up and wasnt disappointed. It was a bit intimidating being Asian and walking into a mini restaurant full of Mexicans but so worth it. Tacos were bomb but rice and bean was just OK. Will definitely try something different on the menu next time.

I ordered rice and beans with 3 tacos and the rice and beans DIDNT HAVE FLAVOR! There salsas are flavorless as well. And there tacos i rate them a 2. I saw the man unfreeze rice and beans to serve my mom and I. I get it that people cook larger amounts and freeze it because its easier but i like my food fresh! For sure wont be going back

These guys are just awesome they let me know right away they would be helping soon then they really tried to please me because I wanted a certain meat and they only had enough to make 1 taco and so they offered to make the 1 along with my second choice then they have me everything the way I asked for it which was grilled onions on the plate of 4 tacos and fresh onion in the plate with 2 tacos they made no mistakes made my order Quickly and while walking out another employee opened the door for me. I tipped them but it really was not enough if I had more cash on me i would have gave it all to them...I will be returning to this place to eat over and over the food is very good no fat left on their Asada. See guys women dont want to chew fat up in their bites its just gross and i didnt have not one piece of fat in my taco. Leave the fat for the men they like it lol good job guys see you soon for another meal.
This was probably the best authentic Mexican food Ive ever had. The taste was unbeatable and the service was great, especially since nobody in our party spoke any Spanish. The prices were also super great. I couldnt recommend more.
Without a doubt one of Fresno’s treasures. This is a great place to go eat, if food is what your main priority in restaurants. He makes the best carnitas (they are out hot everyday at 8:00 am) ever and the food is always delicious.

Dont judge a place by its look let me start of by saying that.. small location full of flavor and delicious carnitas.. u have to show up at the perfect timing because the carnitas run out real quick .. they serve tacos burritos tacos your typical Mexican food but the carnitas are amazing and the salsa is always perfect as well .. again dont judge this place by the looks!! Give it a chance u wont regret it .. they also cater for big or small event .
Great food and friendly service, the owners often recognize you after coming just once or twice. Carnitas are great on a taco orv in a burrito, but get there early they run out fast. El pastor tacos and Birria are also great! Good mild, but flavorful chile verde. We keep coming back for more.

Ive been coming here for several years, so take my word, you will enjoy some great tasting Mexican Food. The portions are large and the prize is right! Quesadillas, Tacos, Tortas, Burritos are served daily. They also have other food items that are only available on certain days of the week. This is a hidden gem, almost no parking and the place is small. It is not in great shape, but dont let this discourage you from giving it a try. You wont be disappointed!

Some of the best Carnitas and Fresh chicharrón. I cannot stress how fresh their chicharrón taste. Always busy but not too crazy. Owners and Staff are great very friendly. The have some of the greatest homemade Mexican food in Fresno. It a hole in the wall, dont let the asethetics scare you off. Youll regret not trying their food.They also do catering, great for parties we had them or a b day and our guest left stuffed and happy..no limit on how many tacos guest can have and you always get left overs.

This place is great for authentic carnitas and other mexican food. Aside from the carnitas Id really recommend the Tacos Dorados with pico de gallo and salsa over them. The meat Al Pastor is also really good in a quesadilla, tacos, or even a burrito which are all pretty stuffed with meat. Victor, typically the man in charge is wonderful and charismatic. Also served for an event I had and preordered carnitas and salsas which worked out perfectly a week before. Would definitely recommend !

Nothing that pops about this place. A very simple shop with basic things like goodol fashion service and some good tacos. Dont worry about paying up front, make yourself at home, eat, grab a drink, then pay when your done. They dont skimp out on the taco size, these were monster tacos!
Drove all around town to find a cake ladt minute. This place had it. Their bread is delish. Their bolillos are soft and fresh. Really like this place.

2023-09-23 21:38:34So plenty of people have said this already but this place looks kinda sketchy from the outside - in fact, I couldnt even tell that it was open and theres not a parking lot for it so its easy to pass right by. However, this place is legit! I had the taco plate with carne asada, adobada, and carnitas and wow. Everything was good but the carnitas was seriously amazing - super savory and flavorful and tender and juicy. The red salsa is also fabulous with just the right amount of heat and a really unique flavor, not just hot. Overall Im so glad I have this place a try and will definitely return. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well, and if youre into traditional Mexican snacks, candies, and drinks they have plenty of those as well!

The owners of the restaurant are great family friends, and have catered many events for my loved ones over the years, and are simply fantastic and consistent. Their carnitas are killer, asada, and the crispy tripas are to die for! Their tacos dorados (crunchy tacos) are also perfect with some pico de gallo. They served carnitas, carne asada, chicken, and veggie tacos for my vegan/vegetarian guests, and it was above my expectations on flavor and overall experience. Everyone at my wedding reception was raving about how fresh everything was, and how quick they were taking orders as well.
