2023-10-27 18:01:41La Quinta Cliffhouse is the perfect venue for hosting events and parties, as I recently experienced when we organized a gathering for over 10 of our cherished clients. This establishment exceeded our expectations in every way.First and foremost, the service was impeccable. They accommodated our party with a level of professionalism and attentiveness that truly stood out. Its a testament to their commitment to excellence. The atmosphere at La Quinta Cliffhouse is charming and inviting, making it an ideal setting for a memorable event. The ambience added a special touch to our party and left a lasting impression on our clients. Now, lets talk about the menu - its nothing short of outstanding. The options are diverse and delicious, ensuring theres something for every palate. Whats even more impressive is their willingness to accommodate unique menu requests. That level of flexibility was greatly appreciated and set them apart. If youre looking for a spot that can truly make your event special and cater to your unique needs, La Quinta Cliffhouse should be at the top of your list. They know how to turn gatherings into unforgettable experiences.

2023-10-31 06:09:22This is a restaurant with a very beautiful outdoor patio that is created next to a rock formation. We had reservations for the patio but because there were 2 reservations at the same time with the same name, they mixed ours up and originally told us there was no patio requested and sat us inside. However, they realized their error afterwards and were very apologetic and moved us to our correct table outside!Once outside the ambience was beautiful. The rocks with the outdoor fireplace and patio lights made it very romantic. I just wish they had made the patio space bigger! It would have been cool if the patio wrapped along the sides of the rock in a circle. We both had the corn soup to start. I was surprised with how tasty and delicious it was. It wasnt like a Chinese soup with corn kernels but more of a corn puree. I wish it was a bigger portion tho because it was on the smaller side.We also had the short ribs. The short ribs were good but not my favorite. I didnt like the paired brussel sprouts and would have liked a sweeter veggie like carrots to go with the short rib sauce. The short rib meat had a decent amount of fat which I liked. We had some drinks with dinner (my bonanza red wine was good) and instead of dessert had some boozy coffees.Aside from the reservation mix up, the service was very attentive and quick!

2023-12-04 06:49:27My wife and I have been wanting to try the Cliffhouse for a while so we came here for our anniversary. The best way I can describe the Cliffhouse is to imagine Dukes Malibu in the desert. A lot of the menu items are similar, and if you swap out the ocean with an giant rock cliff in the desert, WHAM, you have the Cliffhouse. My wife and I just so happen to really like Dukes so we both had a very pleasant evening at the Cliffhouse. We started off with the mussels and the calamari. The calamari was decent, but the mussels were pretty good. The only thing that was missing was something like bread to soak up the curry broth. They provide complimentary bread when you sit down, but unfortunately, I had already eaten all the bread. For the mains, we shared the bone in ribeye and the half portion of the ahi tuna. This all this was plenty of food for the both of us. The ribeye was very tender, and while the ahi tuna wasnt as good as the ahi tuna at Dukes, were also in a desert over 100 miles from the ocean, so I cant really complain. When we made our reservation, we mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. Im not sure if this is normal, but they provided us with a complimentary Ice Cream Wedge. My wife and I had no idea they did this, but we also laughed when the dessert came out because it was identical to the Hula Pie at Dukes. We loved this Ice Cream Wedge and it was the perfect way to end our night. The service here is great, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant is unique.

2023-09-17 02:57:44Atmosphere and decor is elegant and rustic. However, limited amount of privacy as tables are grouped quite close to eachother so the volume is quite loud. Food is decent but personally I prefer to be able to order al la carte sided and this is a fairly fixed menu. Food came out incorrectly but they did did fix the order fast. Service was fairly slow as our waiter was quite busy with the whole room we were in. Often times we had to ask for refills and items we needed for our meal (napkins, ice ect). Very pretty views and located in part of the valley that is gorgeous

2023-08-12 14:29:07La Quinta Cliff House is a wonderful restaurant. The setting is lovely. There are several dining rooms and a full service Bar. Service is very attentive, you are welcomed upon entry, and checked on by staff throughout the dining experience. The food is delicious including fresh fish. Short ribs, salads and appetizers. There is also a Bar menu offering lighter fare. Well worth a visit.
