Staff was awesome and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good, too!
I recently was out of town and was very nervous and confused on where to go not from the area. Upon arrival lobby was packed i was kind of discouraged but to my surprise Dom the front desk receptionist was very patient and helpful answering all my questions. She got me a decent priced room compared to all the other hotels in near by towns! She even gave me the directions to a fantastic mexican restaurant almost walking distance to the hotel! Exceptional customer service will definitely return when passing through!

Absolutely horrible from the beginning the big white girl older lady at the desk with the short hair not sure her name she was so rude and nasty my room smelled of mold they have bed bugs as well
Was there only 1 night. Very friendly, accommodating and helpful. I need handicap services and forgot to ask when making reservations. They were able to get us into another room right away. My husband loved the coffee and upon leaving I asked him to get me one. It was very good coffee. The room was a very nice suite. I wish we could have stayed longer. It is a bit pricey $150.00 per night with discount, however in Ripon there are no choices. We were there for a loved ones funeral. Sad occasion.. Lovely place! The two photos were the view from our room of a beautiful tower with the City of Ripons name on it and a restaurant.

Worst hotel ever. Rudest front desk girl ever. First off, paid $230 for the room and amenities that came with the hotel. One of the selling points upon check in was the pool area. As soon as we settled in to our room I took my kids down to swim sewing as it was so hot out. Once we arrived to the pool it was discovered that the motors where not on or working, there was nasty film like substances floating all over top of pool with multiple bugs crawling at the bottom of it. My kids were so disappointed and so I tried to ask the front desk if there was something they could do. I was told that the 24 hour maintenance guy was called but not answering. Frustrated with the fact that the pool was a selling point but was not notified that it is not in working conditions. Front desk attendant said she could give me the r managers number but that was all she could do. I explained my frustration in the fact that there is nobody else to speak to and we are only here for the night. A reimbursement of some kind would’ve been nice seeing as this room was given to us without full awareness of the main selling point we were looking for. THE POOL. I explained why I was skeptical of an email versus a number or business card of said manager as this does not seem like it will be taken care of and now we are stuck in this situation. The front desk attendant started to speak with a short temper towards me and was giving dirty looks the entire time. As mad as I was at this point, I calmly told the front desk attendant that I understood this is not on her, but it is really upsetting to have her give so much attitude. She responded back with the rudest ugliest dirty look and denied being anyway with me. I then pointed at her and said “this display your doing right now is exactly what I’m referring to”. The girl got up and walked away leaving me at the desk. So rude, so unprofessional I could not believe that this hotel would have someone like this working the front desk. Absolutely upsetting and disrespectful. I tried to call to soak with manager and waited at the desk. The girl came back out and I asked for the email and her name so that I can notify the manager of whom I was speaking with. She wrote the email and refused to give her name as she said it was “none of my business”. In shock at the continued rudeness I asked her again. The girl ignored me and went back in her cell phone. The next person came in and while I was still standing there this front desk person addressed the new patron and ignored me. I let her know this was so disrespectful and it is not how you treat customers. The front desk attendant raised her voice stating “you have to give respect to get it!” Trying so hard to hold my composure i reiterated how this whole ordeal was very disappointing. The front desk staff proceeded to threaten me saying if I did not leave she would call the cops. Absolutely ridiculous! Never in my life have I ever experienced this kind of treatment. This is the first and last time I would ever stay at such a poor managed place. I advise you to look elsewhere when looking for a hotel. There are better hotels with professional employees.
Very nice, clean, well kept, friendly staff! I was very comfortable with the location, no traffic noise. Some food options walkable. The breakfast could have been a bit better but there were fresh waffles, eggs and sausage and muffins.

Very nice place to stay. Comfortable bed, plenty of clean towels, super clean room. Its by a freeway so its a little noisy but nothing terrible. Neighborhood seemed safe. Very friendly staff & accommodating with our dogs. Only reason for 4 stars is because the ac wouldnt stay on. Other than that it was a very nice place. I would stay here again!
Stopped by on my way home to Los Angeles, and I have to say I was very impressed. We stayed in a Junior Suite and the bed was a nice big king size with plenty of room to move around with even with someone else in it. The amenities were easy to use, the TV was on a swivel and could be watched from the bed or the couch/pull out bed and access to DirecTV ment you had many channels to choose from. Personally I was watching the F1 race on ESPN. There was a breakfast to go that included a poptart, and granola bar, and coffee and juice at the bar that you served yourself, but ends at 9am when it was listed at 10am. The pool and hot tub seemed clean enough. There was a sauna room but I didnt go in. The room was spacious, bathroom was clean and big enough for two people to be in there doing there thing in front of the mirror at one time.All in all it was a good stay and would stay again.
The place is great for the price... 140.00 a night for this suite. The staff is so helpful and they are practicing social distancing, and wearing masks is a must here. Life is valuable so wear it to help others. The bathrooms are clean and the towels are new. TV options were good. Definitely a return visit.
Decent stay but witnessed a guy complaining about his deposit not being returned in 5 to 7 business days like they claim while i checking in. Did the same thing to me. 155 dollars was never reversed like they said and ended up dropping my credit score.. Going on 3 weeks. Customer service is non existent.
We stayed nearly 3 weeks as we were evacuated from the Caldor fire. Jan and her staff took great care of us and our pets. The facility is well kept and very convenient to many necessities. Great place to stay if you are traveling particularly with pets.
Surprisingly good. It doesnt look like much when you walk in but... The beds are comfortable and its quiet at night. On top of that, the staff were wonderful and the price was reasonable. The only drawbacks are the tiny pool and sub-par breakfast. This is not a 4 or 5 star hotel, but its exactly what your need if youre looking for a place to sleep.

Great budget hotel. Rooms are modern and spacious. Bathroom is large and clean, with pantene hair products. Bed was very comfortable but the air conditioner is noisy. Breakfast was basic but good choices. Check in staff were very friendly
This is a good place to get a good night sleep. Breakfast is great in the morning. The elevator is available for handicap individuals, and handicap parking is right up front. People are friendly, and helpful to all. There is no parking for semi trucks, but the truck stop is across the street. If your plan to be there on the weekends, make reservations.
This place is great. Picked because of their pet friendly policy, but nice room, and they even have a steam room which was great to relax in. Breakfast pool sauna fitness center and more. Plus a very friendly staff. We could hear some traffic from our room, but it wasnt so loud as to disrupt our sleep.
Stayed on the 3rd floor. What interaction I had with workers was pleasant and they were all very attentive and nice. The room was nothing super special, just your average hotel room, but it was nice and clean. My only issues were the extremely slow elevator that felt like I couldve used the stairs and still had 2 minutes to spare, and the construction noise. Overall, a good experience.

Right off the freeway with easy access. The rooms are extremely clean and maintained daily. We will definitely be back.
The reviews encouraged me to take the 10 mile detour from I-5, but so far not a lot has impressed me. Hallway and room walls are in need of paint, rooms dont smell fresh. The bedside lamps didnt work but we discovered they had been unplugged. Once back in, we saw one of the lamps bulbs had burned out. I called the front desk only to be told she didnt know where new ones were. The shower has no air vent so it completely streamed up. One bottle of shampoo to be shared by two of us, no lotion. No sink trap- make sure you dont drop anything. Cant wait to see what breakfast is like. ..
Overall our stay was not really good but cant say its been the worst. We attended a tournament for our son which gives us lots of down time in our hotel room. When we checked in the day before the tournament we were told that the buildings tv service was down and was being serviced at the moment by technicians, that it would be up in a few hours. Noticed cable boxes in hallways. Asked front desk if we needed to take ours out and was told not needed. We had no tv that day for us to enjoy. No tv the following day either but heard tv sounds in the hallway. Asked front desk again and front desk person said You have no tv? I answered no. She told me oh, we tried calling your room to service it but you didnt answer and we couldnt access your room (We were at the tournament that morning). I was really confused because housekeeping came to our room, accessed the room to freshen it up. Honestly sounded like an excuse and I believe our room was forgotten in regards to tv service. I finally later got a call in the room from the young lady that checked us in the day before and later came by to try and get our tv up. We helped her pull out the furniture for her to access the back to do some rewiring. After a few trip for her to our room the tv was finally up later that afternoon/evening. Got to finally relax and enjoy it for about 1 hour before it was time for dinner and bedtime. We honestly try to not be picky people but this had not been the best experience weve had at a hotel lately.

Definitely a worth all 5 stars. Stellar service, plenty of smiles to go around, easy booking and check-in, and prompt responses to all my questions and more. As a truck driver, its hard to find a good place near a truck stop that treats with the respect and courtesy one desires. Will definitely recommend to anyone travelling in the area and needing a place to stay. Great showers with hot water, comfortable and well maintained beds, and very good WiFi connection throughout.
Great people, great room. Only down side was too many people slowing internet to type 3. Im sure thats a normal problem though being rooms were pretty full. Hot tub was nice pool was as cold as expected lol! Was 46 degrees out. Good job! Breakfast was good as well.

Very nice rooms, and they dont smell at all like cigarettes because there is 100% no smoking aloud on primises which is a plus for me and my children, also they have a variety of different food options for breakfast which starts from 6 to 9 but is always open by 5:30am. I loved it. Great service.

We stayed here from Aug 18 thru Aug 21 2016. We will never stay here again nor would I recommend anyone staying here.The front desk staff are totally incompetent and several people we worked with kept getting our reservation screwed up.I went there in person in June to make our reservation for Aug. We need 2 adjoining rooms with 2 beds in each room.My mom went back there in person to make sure everything was in order. They only had us reserved for 1 night so she got that cleared up.When we went to check in they only had us reserved for 3 nights and our room only had one bed. I asked if they had a roll away and they didnt. I had to pay for a third room and they screwed that up and checked my daughter out a night too soon with all her luggage locked in the room.They knocked on my other daughters room and told her she was late checking out when we still had another night there.Every day it was something new their staff and no one offered any apologies or monetary compensation for all the inconvenience. They ruined our family trip there and Ill never stay there again.
I really love this place. Its nice and quiet. I bring my mom here when Im in town because Im her caretaker. She loves it as well.Every one is really nice. A couple of weird people here and there,but you get that every now and then when you stay in a hotel.Alot of places to eat around. My only complaint is being told its a non smoking room when Im the one who booked the room,nor have I ever smoked in it,pluss Ive stayed a number of days..lol Its routine in the beginning, but three days in to my stay....Anyway, would I recommend this place to associates friends or family?Definitely!Great vibes. So my husband, son and I stayed here. Mainly because it had such good ratings online. We even got a king suite. (One of the more pricey rooms around 175$ with taxes.Literally the worst mistake. The worst hotel ive ever stayed in. First off the door handle to the bathroom was hanging, the shower head had black mold on it and there were black hairs underneath our clean hand towels. Thats just to say a few. So I immediately went and spoke with the front desk to ask for a new room. They pretty much told me they didnt have any thing else available. But they had those clean stickers on the door, so you know its been cleaned well. Well there was alot of rooms around mine that had those stickers on them. So why did they lie about them being occupied? So I couldnt move rooms? Correct me if im wrong.. Maybe its some kind of policy? But anyways... They over charged me for a really dirty room that they made me stay in. -100.
Right from the start the team was friendly and courteous. The breakfast bar was well stocked and warm. The rooms were clean and smelled fresh. Since it was got outside they turned the air conditioner on to cool the room.
Was in town for a wedding. Had a king sized room to begin with but needed to get a two bed instead. Hotel was very accommodating. Room was adequately clean with only a messy box spring. Shower worked well and ac preformed phenomenally.

I love the service here and the rooms are very well put together but some suggestions would be to add an extra trashcan on the sweets and an extra light near the couch and a mirror over the dresser and possibly a toaster where the microwave is right below the microwave and small portable fans or fan/heaters inside the bathroom so be cool and I loved the breakfast every morning you guys have a great of your variety and sending this is pretty good I think the rooms does it use better cleaning on the floors I think they’re only swept and the knobs and handles and high traffic finger touching areas need to be clean more often because of Covid but I’m not great but not bad for the price
First and foremost the environment is comfortable and safe. The front desk service is absolutely amazing. I am a single mother going through some ruff times and through these times I have engaged in a family oriented environment. Service is excellent and the House keepers are extremely on call to all our needs, Very Clean,drama free,loving environment...I have planted my seed at LA QUINTA since last year...I Am officaly a LA Quinta Girl...I rate this a 10 plus...God Bless Land...

Why are there dogs barking across the hall?? The breakfast in the morning is always appreciated. There is no fan in the bathroom so the bathroom gets really steamy after showers. Our room wasnt cleaned one of the three days spent at the hotel.
This room was crazy expensive, but it was the last room available, so my so called boss had to get it for me, and he gave me the key and being from Idaho and he is in California, he said and I quote heres your room and I will help you get a rental car to get home, well days later Im still waiting for him and no response or answers, . Northwest logistics out of Petaluma CA, strands me in CA for being late because my best friend, roommate and business partner died days before and I had a surprise gathering for him as I just loaded, I delivered the frozen fries the next morning, and they stranded me with no way home. Tell the wineos just how great they are and what a heart they have. They have no heart, he says he will ship my stuff, heres 2 weeks and still nothing, so far they stole my stuff too and it was all I had that he didnt let me get. I need a lawyer this guy cant get away with that. Any attorneys willing to help and be famous???.
Staff was hospitable. Our rooms were clean. Nice little 24 hour gym. Close to fast food chains, restaurants, gas stations, and freeway.
Our room was spotless and comfy. Just not used to all the noise. Maybe if we stayed in an odd numbered room.
I gave 3 stars first my 9yr old daughter was having a slumber party and they couldnt guarantee the rooms (i could only check in early) be next to each other. Second they dont take cash. Third there were dirty socks in my closet so it made me wonder what else was skipped on cleaning. Fourth the breakfast was normal la quinta besides the sour creamer me and my daughter had in our hot drinks everything else was good. Its in a good location you can walk to most of the food gas stores from there. Late checkout is awesome

Very clean. We were a bit disappointed with the inoperable television. Some times blessings come without a TV. We had a full room of Family from 4 to 60 years old and thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Thanks!! 😉

The room way nice. For being near the freeway the noise was pretty muted. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Its not as complete as I would have hoped. It needs more fresh options.

Room smelled like sewer coming strong from the hot tub kinda nasty smell stuck in both rooms I rented and hotel was more like a motel 6 with breakfast . I never really seen a la quinta so small an more less low quality like this one .

La Quinta always has clean rooms for a good price. They are pet friendly and they have complementary breakfast which has eggs, pancake on a stick, muffins, toast, waffles, yogurt, cereal, and a few other items. My only problem with them is; even though they arent fancy every La Quinta Ive stayed in has a toilet that isnt properly attached in some way. It still works but it rocks when you sit on it. Just a minor thing but Ive stayed in La Quintas from Virginia Beach to San Diego to Rippon and they all have had something wrong with the toilet. Its weird.

Hotel looks recently remodeled. As with another La Quinta (Salida), in-room AC unit is noisy and its housing vibrates. Ambient noise is reasonable considering proximity to the freeway. Room decor is modern, there are plentiful outlets and USB charge points. The bed which seems plush at first seems less supportive the longer you lie on it. The television is on the small side and is connected to a DirectTV receiver. Wi-Fi is fast and open (no logging in required; be sure to use a VPN). Hotel is walking distance to a Carls Jr and a Starbucks. The free breakfast is sparse at best. Id recommend going elsewhere for breakfast.

Our room wasnt ready upon arrival had to wait an extra hour basically. Hot tub was a little tight but felt good to relax. Bed was comfy. Glass over jacuzzi tub was dirty and no kitchenette to heat my food from Yummys California Soul 😪

We visit to see our Mother, always walk in feeling like we are home away from home. So clean and I sit in my chair and read my book while my husband gets comfortable on the bed and watch’s a movie. Thank you !
Disgusting professionalism!!! Billed my card 3 Times for 1 night stay than when asked to get a print out of the charges the lady at the front who said she was the manager said I d have to call la quinta corporate number... The owner said it ll be refunded back to my card however that was 2 weeks ago. Today I went back to ask about the charges being reversed and the same lady said she is busy today but to call tomorrow when another worker is there that knows the system. The owner than came out not 30 seconds after she said he is not there and than he introduced himself as the owner said he ll be right back and left . These people are horrible and do not trust them with your debit card. I had 3 fraud charges to my card the night I was there as well. Coincidence ? Thieves work here do not trust them
Dont go here if u hate dogs. Place is pets friendly which we did not know. Room next to us had a dog and was barking all night. Also our room was not clean properly, dog hairs all over and in the sofa bed was dog food when we open the bed. Never coming back here

Absolutely redicoulous! Took 15 minutes to check in guy was new but still didn’t know what he was doing. I’ve stayed at at least 30 different la quintas over the past couple years as i travel for a living. This is the first time this chain of hotels made me mad. I ordered DoorDash. Can you believe they have a policy in where the driver can’t bring me my food to my door!!!?!?!? I sure didn’t wanna go downstairs that’s not my job. I’ve stayed at many different chains of hotels literally over a hundred and this is the first time I couldn’t get food delivered to my door. I will never stay at a la Quinta again ANYWHERE! You should’t either. For the price you would think you could get food delivered to your door.

Not the fanciest hotel, but cool, clean, & quiet. Friendly staff, easy off and on access to freeway. Great policy towards animals so this my go-to hotel when traveling with pets.

I work for the railroad and I travel alot. I must say this place knows how to make customers happy. Sauna, steam room, weights, nice comfort rooms. I stay here Monday thru Thursday ..Heck if your gonna travel why not do it the right way. It will be worth it in the long way.PLUSThey had a lot of American Made stuff as well, which makes a huge difference. USA Made means better Us and our Future. Thanks for keeping USA Made.
One of the worse experiences I have had in a hotel. Dirty room. It was covered in filth. A/C didnt work. And customet service was poor, she didnt even care to help. Do not recommend
I had a problem at check in with my payment, the lady at the desk was very helpful and i was able to pay for just one night of my 3 night resevation. The next morning the manager helped me fix the problem and even helped me use some of my rewards points for a free night. Thank you La Quinta your staff is always the best!!
Front desk clerk not at the desk at the time of arival nor at 10am next morning when someone else needed them. Room had dirty tissue on bathroom floor when we entered. I didnt have breakfast but it looked good.

Needs updated! Severely disappointed with the quality of this hotel considering you can stay at the La Quinta in Modesto/Salida for the same price but have higher quality rooms and service. Unfortunately, we waited to late to book so we had to move from the Modesto location to the Ripon location. However we were so unhappy with the quality that we turned our three night stay at the Ripon location into a one night stay and transferred to a Holiday Inn in Oakdale for our remaining two nights!
We have used this hotel for about a year now reserving their meeting room for church functions. The staff are always so nice and when ive forgotten important notes always make copies for us.
Friendly staff, closer to the freeway (make sure you request a room facing away from the freeway if you are easily awakened by noises like me), next to places to eat and a gas station. A keeper in my book.

Nice place to stay considering is between Modesto and Stockton, parking lot is secure Ive never had anything damaged or stolen there, and Im a regular there because of my work, rooms are good always fresh towels and linens, dont know what the other reviews on here about no towels and place been a dump are about, I guess if you dont like it dont stay and ask for a refund, usually they are busy so they do run out of double bed rooms, and I suggest people bring their own soap and shampoo, besides if you are traveling you must or should have luggage with you, that way you dont complain about hygiene products that you should bring when you travel.
Horrible customer service. Never staying here again. They overcharged my card 450 dollars before I even got my room key and then another 300 the next morning. Having a hard time getting my money back they don’t have to worry about me coming back
This place smells. They spray perfume to try to hide it, but there are really bad smells all through the building. If I had it to do over again, I’d sleep in the car or stay just about anywhere else.
David the man up front at night makes you feel welcomed. The rooms are clean and the place has been remodeled. Recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in this area.

It was disgusting they gave us a room with dirty sheets then the key didn’t work for the new room after that when we were gonna open it but the room was used n people that stayed two nights . and the front person at the desk was high and didn’t understand why we were frustrated 💀

Extremely loud rooms. You can literally hear the conversations of the people in the room next you when they are talking at a normal level. If you happen to be next to a room of people partying you will not sleep at all
Very noisy room was next to freeway and windows are not upgraded so it sounds like your sleeping on the freeway.And the halls reek of pot smoke.Noisy upstairs neighbors all night long .Needless to say no sleep could have taken a hundred dollar bill and burnt it up and got the same result.No never again would I stay there a total waste of hard earned money!!

2023-06-27 01:08:36Eugenia at the front desk is an absolute rockstar! I reached out on behalf of one of my truck drivers who was without air conditioning in his truck to set up a reservation. She quickly sent everything needed for a credit card authorization from my company and greeted him moments later to let him know his air cooled room was ready for him! He went from entrance to room in 2 minutes flat so he can get a great night sleep! Ive never dealt with someone so prompt, friendly, and efficient! This girl needs a promotion and a raise!

The people waiting entering the elevator were noisy, but the noisiest of all was the ice machine . It was so loud and it caused us insomnia!

2023-01-13 05:38:27My sister and I have stayed here twice in 5 months, 2 of our Uncles have passed away and the location is the perfect distance from our Aunts houses and the Church serves. our 1st room back in August 2022 was awesome huge bathroom counter, we could put our stuff out, made it super easy to get ready in the morning, however this trip January 2023 we got a much smaller bathroom counter and no place to put our stuff out to get ready and we woke up to lots ants in our bathroom probably due to the construction on the 2nd floor, we were on the 3rd floor and the price for 1 night was $160.00, last trip we did 2 nights and it was around $200.00. The breakfast is awesome, lots to choose from. we love the waffles. I gave this room only 3 stars because of the aunts and bathroom counterbut I will stay here again, location, breakfast and the staff is very friendly

2023-05-08 13:54:11Nice room. Friendly staff. My room had no view only of a roof. Staff could have spoke English it was difficult trying to communicate with some because they didnt speak English. This is America people should be speaking English.
