La Strada in American Canyon

Very lovely restaurant! The food was amazing and definitely filling. So much flavor in every bite. The bread with olive oil and vinegar for dipping was delicious too. It is the perfect place to go for a classy dinner out, but they also have outdoor seating for causal dining. We ate here with my in-laws and our two toddler boys. My 3-year-old accidentally dropped a water glass, which broke and was embarrassed. However, the waiter and busing staff were so sweet and kind to him, which made him feel better. They brought him a kid friendly cup with a straw and problem solved. At the end of dinner, they even brought the boys a scoop of ice cream each just to be nice to the kids. Overall I loved this place, as they have exceptionally high quality food and staff!!!

Very pleasant staff. Classic/antique feel. I wasnt extremely excited with my meal option, but I am planning to return sense my first experience was through a private party.

Ok! Sports fans, we did a few days in the bay area, San Francisco, Vallejo, and we found this restaurant. The food was so fresh it taste like they cooked it in seawater. If you love Italian seafood, this is the spot.

Oh thank Jose for taking such good care of us. We had a most wonderful experience and the food was excellent! We highly recommend everyone to stop here at this hidden gem. Jose was on point, he recommend some wine tour ideas and we introduced him to geocaching!Thanks for everything!

We popped in La Strada for a last minute dinner on a Friday evening & thoroughly enjoyed it! The food was delicious and the service was spectacular. We never had an empty glass! I had the bread and oil, spaghetti & meat sauce, and triple chocolate cake which were all delicious.

One of my favorite spots in Napa county! The food is Delicious and the service is Top Notch. The management and staff are super friendly and go out of their way to ensure that your dining experience is excellent.One of the things that I really like about La Strada is that it doesnt have the stuffy vibe of some other restaurants. Its a family style restaurant, very personable. Theres been a few times where Ive come in off peak hours and the staff would all be having a meal together. Ive even joined them a couple times! That says a lot and thats why I keep coming back (Been a regular customer for about 15 years now.Because of that I always recommend this place to friends and family when they come into town.They also have a pretty decent outdoor seating area if you want to eat outside. Speaking of outside, if you come for a meal on Sunday, be prepared for the Flea Market crowd. It is adjacent to a large lot (Vallejo-Napa Flea Market lot) and it can be crowded. They have their own dedicated parking area, just be prepared for a lot of activity.Lastly, they are one of the very few restaurants that offer a cannelloni. Theirs is veal and it is DELICIOUS!!!!Give them a try, I doubt youll leave disappointed.

Holy smokes. I dont even know what to say. While they claim they are an Italian restaurant, its a far cry from authentic. The picture I posted is apparently meat lasagna. It was more like a meat soup from a can. One top layer of noodles, and the rest was meat. Literally. The chicken parm comes with a side of mashed potatoes, but they were like instant mash. The veggies were mush. My Caesar salad seemed to be tossed in a tangy mayo dressing and had soggy croutons. Gross.Ive never seen chicken wings, a cheese burger or cheesy garlic fries on the menu of an Italian restaurant. Maybe our expectations were too high but if you are looking for an Italian experience, this isnt the place. We were a group of 7 (2 families) and a 20% tip was added but no mention of it by the server. For the 3 people from our family it was $200 with tip and we left hungry. Heading to McDonalds now for dinner.Id rate the place a zero if I could but I cant. 1 is the minimum. Wont ever come here again. The garlic bread wasnt bad- stick with that if you find yourself forced to dine here.

Was here for the first the other night for my daughters birthday. There were 11 of us-big group. Our server was very attentative and helpful to our party.I had the gnocchi with alfredo sauce, while it delicious, I wish I had ordered a protein with it. Our server also asked if we wanted him to cake the we brought with us? (which I was very happy they allowed it inside)-I knew there might be a fee for this, but didnt realize $24.00. It is what is though. ☺Good food, service and family. My daughter had a great birthday dinner- Thank you!

Rustic Italian restaurant.Good was excellent. Service was great. Went for late lunch for my husbands birthday. Loved his rack of lamb and the special of the day, the red snapper was finger licking good.Our new favorite Italian restaurant. Great choices beef, lamb, chicken and fish.

Excellent service, incredible food, and an authentic Italian atmosphere.Jose was an incredible waiter and was very friendly and enthusiastic to converse and help.I thoroughly enjoyed my heaping serving of the seafood fettuccine special and would highly recommend this to anyone eating here.
