A La Waffle is a neighborhood gem.PROS: Cute little spot in a generic shopping/food area, hidden away yet noticeable with neon lights and signage. The staff are wonderful, especially the owner - nicest person, friendly to all. And the waffles are a delight. They are unique in taste and style, with an earthy airy texture and taste (mixed in with sugary treats). Love the menu, many options but not too many or too overwhelming. And rightly priced. Great evening treat, for kids and adults alike.CONS: I wouldnt say there are real cons, but if I had to pick something - the seating is limited. But thats small, and worth it nonetheless (take-home works).This is one of my go-to spots with my partner. Highly recommend 👍👍

A La Waffle, A la amazing creation. Though many things in life hit your taste buds like you would imagine. The dessert creations here are unlike anything you have ever eaten. The fusion of micro thin waffles drizzled with chocolate, caramel, and ice cream compliment each other like like a 60 year old marriage on their last anniversary. The taste is so well blended, the presentation of each dish is immaculate. I would say this is one of my favorite dessert dishes this year. If you are trying to impress a date take them here for this food experience, they will remember this experience for years to come. I highly recommend this stop on your foodie list.

Loved this spot! We split the creme brûlée waffle and it was amazing. Fun vibe inside and the staff were super friendly. We will be back to try more soon!

Overall pretty fun place. Atmosphere was great, staff were friendly, and they had lots of options. Comparing these waffles (the actual waffle part, not ice cream or toppings) were average. Not as good as similar offerings I’ve had at other waffle dessert places.

Id call this sweet heaven!!! Who else could make waffles keep a little softness and crunch together under layers of sweet goodness (ice cream, crème brûlée syrup and whip cream)!!! They got the magic here!! It was open after 10pm when wed just left a birthday dinner! This place is the bees knees baby! Definitely hit the spot!! The people helping us were very kind and helpful, I mean it was after 10pm and they were still smiling!! I love that!! Its also super cute and cozy.

Best waffles!! Seriously they make better waffles than I do. I don’t know what it is but it’s one of the best waffles I’ve tasted. Very airy and full of flavor. So much goodness!

It was another HOT day in Long Beach and we wanted to get our ice cream fix. We found this place on yelp and thought why the hell not? Everything was clean and there was a lot of attention paid to the design. Each table had a little succulent which added a lot in their minimalist design. There were large group seating arrangements and smaller seating areas for just a few folks. There was also cucumber mint water that you can pour yourself.Service (5/5)The service was fast and friendly. We didnt have to wait a long time to get our food and everybody genuinely looked like they were happy. We even got to speak with the owner and baker Sarah!Food (5/5)We got the unicorn Belgium waffle, granitas, and a 6 pack of the macaroons. The unicorn Belgium waffle was adorable. The ears were decorated with little marshmallows and there was a tiny horn made of fondant. It was definitely photo-worthy. The flavor was amazing. The waffle was topped with a layer of birthday cake butter cream, candy pearls, and sprinkles. Normally, waffles are very crispy and heavy. These waffles were very light and aerie. My wife was not expecting to be able to finish the entire thing, but it was a breeze to eat because it was so light on your stomach. The butter cream added this sweetness that was fulfilling, but not overpowering and the powdered sugar was a great touch to even out the after taste.The granitas were great, but although it was cold and shaped like ice, it was tasted more like cooled sugars. All of them used natural fruit flavors, which is an amazing touch for someone with allergies. These are served with ice cream that was also very creamy and smooth.The macaroons were amazing. The filling didnt feel cheap like the ones that you get from trader joes. There was a lot of depth to the flavor. The shell was so soft that when I grabbed it to take my first bite, I was expecting it to crack and shatter. Instead it just kind of folded in on itself. I could have taken a bite out of it if I didnt have any teeth at all.Price (5/5)This was the hard part because the food is expensive when you think about it as a cup of ice cream, macaroons, and waffles. I didnt mind the price tag at all because I didnt think about it like that. It was a far superior product when compared to any cup of ice cream, macaroon, or waffle that Ive had before. I have had ice cream, but I have not had a granitas where the ice cream was silky smooth, allergy friendly, and topped with sugar crystals. I have had macaroons, but I have not had ones so soft, that I felt like I was biting into a cloud. I have had waffles, but I have not had ones so light and aerie. This is why I struggled so much with this section of my review. Its expensive, but I feel like I only think that way because the market is flooded with lower quality alternatives.

Best dessert place! All of their waffles are very light with premium toppings. The vibe is very chill.
