Ladybug Grill is another Favorite Restaurant, everything I’ve ordered has been delicious. This is another local spot serving up the Aloha spirit in every plate of Hawaiian Dishes. The staff are friendly and make you feel like Ohana, you’ll forget you need to leave after your meal. There is plenty of parking and they usually have live music on the weekends. Breakfast is served all day and plenty of plate lunch and dinner entrees to choose from. Come in and see Kayley for awesome service, then come back the next day for more🤙🏼

This is a small little Hawaiian/Japanese restaurant with delicious food. We had the teriyaki mixed plate (chicken, beef, and salmon), Spam musubi, and the spicy tuna 1/2 roll. The vibe is Hawaiian with thatched wallpaper, Hawaiian pictures, and a surfboard. The people are pleasant, there is a massive parking lot in the back, and the food is good.

Excellent Hawaiian diner. Greet selection of food, variety for kids and adults, and plenty of aloha spirit. The French toast is unique and their American Japanese fusion take is worth trying. Highly recommended!

The butterfish may very well be the best fish I have ever eaten. Perfectly tender, moist, with a miso glaze (I think) and a little bit of char, it is superb! Expensive, but its that good.

Food was really delicious. We ordered a chicken Katsu curry and a loco Moco.Only reason I am giving 4 star because service was ok. Two server was there but they were constantly talking to each other and we need to ask a question about the food while we are eating because it’s not described on the menu what kind of meat on the curry sauce?? I waited few minutes raised my hand 🤚 no attention at all so I had to call them loudly “excuse me” then they came.Definitely will go again because of the food. They have a big parking lot as well

I would have given this place 4 Stars I ordered Pork fried rice it was tasting great until I found a long black hair in it that just ruined it for me I should have taken a picture of it but at the moment I found it it was in my mouth and I couldnt help but gag and throw the rest of it in the trash.Food tasted great till the hair.Service was great.Atmosphere was niceBut I just wont be returning or ordering from there again.

I love the wait staff here -so friendly and helpful. However Im disappointed the Char Siu Pork Fried Rice hardly has any meat. Back in the day, it had plenty but guess once the ownership changes, so do the recipes.

We had an amazing time. They were able to seat a party of 15 with advanced notice, advised that we order ahead of time and had everything coming out right as we got there. The service was amazing and it quickly became my favorite restaraunt im Gardena so far. Food was bomb, staff was great (thank you Hunter) and everyone had a wonderful time. Parking is a bit difficult but not impossible. Highly recommend trying it out and coming back for more. Reasonable prices, hefty portions, and a good eye for dietary restrictions.

Delicious food at the Ladybug Asian Grill. My friend took me there, being in the area. I had the chicken katsu and my friend had the ladybug chicken combo. The chicken was moist and really tasty. The value for the quality of food was on point! I definitely will have to come back!

Terrible service!!! We pre-ordered because we had a large party and the majority of the food didn’t come out until 45 minutes after our reservation and they never even brought out one dish! They served all other tables faster than ours despite our pre-order. When we spoke to Pablo (the owner) he didn’t take any responsibility and simply blamed the poor service on the fact that we had a smaller group than originally planned. It shouldn’t matter what size group you have, the service should still be treated fairly. He had no explanation when I questioned why a pre-order would be served later than walk ins. Had he simply apologized for the slow service, we would’ve moved on. Unfortunately the way he was blaming us for the entire situation was absolutely ridiculous. We used to come often to this restaurant with parties as large as 20 and they have now lost our loyalty for such poor customer service.

I spoke with the manager and showed him how very thin the burger paddy was. His answer is to order two island burger next time.....wow. We love this place. Japanese/Hawaiian food done properly and really inexpensive. My wife gets the Chicken Katsu which comes with macaroni salad, green salad and rice. I get the Kalbi and Salmon combo and just get it with all salad. Both of us take food home every time. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We drive almost half an hour to get here but it’s worth it.

I ordered a pretty ordinary breakfast plate of eggs and portuguese sausage, so you cant go wrong with that. However, I liked that I had the choice of spiced hawaiian bread! 😁 The potato mac salad was delicious! And it may be very well one of the best Ive tried so far. Would definitely go back for that and to try other things. The place is pretty outdated, but the service was great! I forgot to take pics of the place and I give the bathroom 2 stars just because its dated.

Got the Lau lau plate to go and it was just as delicious as dining in.The Lau Lau was wrapped in foil to keep in all the flavors until I opened it up to reveal a large portion.Rice was in its own container and there was a lot of it.Mac salad was good and the salad is always a delight.Order was called in and ready when I arrived. Service always great.

Id like to say that our first visit to Bob’s Hawaiian Style in Gardena was worth the drive from Fountain Valley! Excellent and extremely friendly service! The food was outstanding! The entertainment by ”local boys” were so welcoming and darn right enjoyable! They sang and played from 6-9 without a break! It was so nice to be in such an ”island style” restaurant. This place has the absolute best sushi I have ever had! It is a bit small though so big parties arent ideal but if you bring a couple friends, youll get seated pretty quickly. They usually dont take long to make your food and the waitstaff is very pleasant. Make sure to tip!

I don’t mind paying for quality, but this, no LOLExceptional service and food. I come in, get seated right away and have my order taken quickly. After about 5 minutes my spam roll and chicken bowl were both ready. Wow! Plus, the food was super delicious and really filling, but not leaving you feeling heavy where you kind of have shortness of breath from a big meal LOL. Nonetheless, I recommend you give them try. You have nothing to lose and if you don’t like them don’t expect to feel that you’ve lost your hard earned cash. I paid only $8 bucks for my meal. That’s super affordable. Give them try! I recommend the lady bug fried chicken bowl and the spam Mitsubi.

First time I have been here. I had the kalua pig with pork Lau Lau. It was good. The chicken long rice was not very flavorful. It lacked the ginger and garlic flavor. We had the pineapple cake which was excellent! I was there around 3:30 p.m. only a few people were there. So the service was good. I will be going there again. Maybe I will order breakfast next time. Breakfast is served all day!

In the city to visit a customer and in the mood for Asian food. We decided for this place, looks like a little hole in the wall but is bigger inside than it looks. Caution there are several Asian type restaurants in this small shopping center... lol Food was delicious and service was great. Went during the lunch hour so very busy first sign of a good place. Bobs is now called Lady Bug Cafe which moved from its old location on Redondo Beach Blvd. The owner is working very hard to deliver a great experience.Good Hawaiian food with Hawaiian Music on most nights (Not during Covid). I like the Kalua Pork with Rice, Chili Fries and Chicken Teriyaki Plate, lots of great flavor in this dish. If you havent been here in a while give it another try I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

I ordered the Kalua Pig and Lau Lau plate. It came with lomi salmon, rice and macaroni salad. The flavors were great but it was very pricey compared to Kings Hawaiian in Torrance. Over $20 for that plate.My sister and cousin ordered the Oxtail Saimin. It looked good but had about one third of the Oxtail pieces that you get at Kings for roughly the same price.

Love Lady Bugs! They actually catered my wedding a few years ago. Great Japanese-Hawaiian plate lunch food. Their chicken katsu plate lunch is my favorite. For around $7.50 (in 2016, at least), you can get a hearty plate of chicken katsu, white rice, green salad, and mac salad. They also have great kalbi, chicken teriyaki, sushi, and other yummy dishes.This is a must if youre ever craving good Japanese American/Hawaiian food!
