I posted this on Yelp as well and I’ll post it here.Ive been coming here for years for good reason. The food is always amazing and the loyal staff are the kindest youll find anywhere! Not to mention that the place was packed but the SPEED OF SERVICE was still exceptional. Downright outstanding restaurant!

Best Chinese food in all of Westlake!!! Best hot and sour soup anywhere in the world! This place has been here forever and Ive been coming here since I was a teenager. We have not been in years but came tonight and it is just as good as I remember. We plan on coming a lot more! Right next door to what used to be the Westlake twin theater, but its now the Regency Theater.

Small, family-style restaurant. Good service, decent prices, and friendly environment. The food was just ok. We ordered the sweet and sour pork and chicken chow menu. The portions were relatively small and flavor was bland.

Far and away the best Chinese food in the area. The sauces are rich and thick, not thin and watery like I find in most Chinese realstaurants out here. Generous portions, too. Only complaint was the won ton soup broth lacked depth of flavor, however, it was chock full of goodies.I also enjoyed dining in, the music is low volume and seating is very comfortable. The place is obviously popular, there were a ton of walk-ins picking up to-go orders. All in all, I think its my new go-to Chinese place.

After giving up on Chinese food in LA for the last 3 years. I finally found a place that satisfied my particular Chinese food cravings. I didnt find II picked up and it was quick. Portion size is family style, and the staff was great. Couldnt ask for a better experience. I will be ordering from here again soon.

Was looking forward to some Chinese food as most around us have closed. Ordered the Moo Shu pork, chicken with snow peas, and mixed gourmet vegetables. Food was okay, I liked that they were not skimpy on the vegetables however I thought the sauce was quite bland on vegetables and chicken dish. Dining area was quite nice which I find is the exception to most Chinese restaurants. And service was prompt and friendly.

Great service and best spring rolls!They are so friendly here and we love it when they tell us to enjoy dinner!. My wife wont get spring rolls from anywhere else anymore. Mongolian chicken and Szechuan broccoli are our current favorites.

I have been coming here with my family and friends for many years. It is in such a convenient location and they have all your favorite Chinese items on the menu. Its comfortable, and very approachable. I love going for lunch because the lunch special includes a main dish, rice, soup, and a cookie at such a good price. Its great to have such a high quality, reliable Chinese restaurant in the area.

Havent tried the food. Tried ordering takeout, as there was a promotional on seamless and we are new to the area. We get a phone call from the restaurant saying that they wont honor the promotion unless we buy two of the promotion. Very confusing. After some polite back and forth we just cancelled the order and chose to order from somewhere else.

Its a mainstay for good, fast, and tasty Chinese food. They have a few authentic dishes but most of them are standard fare prepared very well. Been going here for years and will continue too. The staff is great, friendly, and quick. Take out is just as good!

Tried this place for the first time, because golden dragon was closed that day...absolutley rancid food . Ribs tasted spoiled...beef noodles were two different colors and dry ...bizare. orange chicken was dry and tasteless. Sweat sour pork also tasted wrong . wierd! . I will never go here again . Droped a c note to feal ill all day ...Gross Gross Gross...go to golden dragon for edible food .

Its difficult to enjoy a meal when youre being cheated.We live a few blocks from this restaurant, and my wife likes their war wanton soup when shes not feeling well. She instructed me to get her soup tonite.I ordered by phone from their online menu which says War Wanton soup for 4, clearly listed as $10.95.I ordered by phone & drove over to pickup. When I arrived, my order was waiting.The young man at the cash register presented the bill with the soup charged at $13.95. I told him that the price listed in their online menu was $10.95. He disagreed with me. His sidekick told me that was the price for 2. No, thats the price for 4. Another of the cash register gang volunteered, thats the lunch menu. No, thats the price listed on the website. I paid & left.In my car, I rechecked the online menu on my phone which confirmed War Wanton for 4 $10.95.I went back in & presented my phone. The full family was assembled at the cashiers area - father, sons, two officious well dressed, jewelry bedecked older women.I showed them the menu with the entry. One, then another examined the phone, then another. One argued that it was not the right restaurant, but the website clearly showed the name of the restaurant,?telephone number, photos, etc of the restaurant. Another went back to the lunch menu argument.Bottom line: They cheated me out of $3. The experience did not make the soup taste very good.

Probably the best Chinese Restaurant in the Thousand Oaks area. I never eat Chinese anywhere else except maybe Chinatown in San Francisco. Good selection of traditional dishes. No MSG added to anything. They cheerfully accommodate food requests, like low sodium etc. And, not the least of which, being in the company of very amiable & friendly hosts. Popular place but service is always top notch. And theres a movie theatre next door so its a nice convenient spot for dinner & a movie. Its a relatively classy spot but food prices are very reasonable.

Our favorite restaurant for Chinese food in Thousand Oaks. Hidden away in a small shopping center just off the 101 freeway, the food is consistently good and the service always friendly and quick. Dont miss the lunch specials, a full meal for around $10.

I dont know who these people are that are rating this place 5 stars, but I can only imagine they have never in their life had anything even close to resembling real Chinese food. We ordered sweet and sour tofu, veggies in white sauce, and veggie mooshu. The sweet and sour tofu, while not good, was what youd expect of fast food type Chinese like from panda express. But the veggies in white sauce has little flavor and were mostly just slimy. The mooshu, though, was the worst. Really awful. I dont think I have the words to do it justice.Isnt it the one of the most disappointing things to get awful food that you were excited about? :(Do yourself a favor and save yourself a little disappointment and money.

Its amazing that this store got such good reviews. The waiter was rude and could hardly speak English. My buddy wanted to swap the rice for a small salad - theres no such thing.He ended up shelling out $8 for a small salad and got a plate of entree with no sides.The $8 salad was a bad joke by the way.There are definitely better options in the area if you value friendly and knowledgeable staff and dont want to shell out $10 for overcooked chicken.
