2023-06-16 13:42:47We went to see Master Gardener, which was the very last movie to be screened before the theater shut down permanently yesterday. So many audience members hung around in the lobby commiserating with one another at the loss of yet another independent movie theater in the Bay Area. I’m so sad to see such a wonderful theater go. Good bye, Albany Twin, we will miss you!

2018-12-17 02:21:10I enjoyed watching Shoplifters an indie film from Japan. This is an old theater split into multiple screens. The Landmark Albany Twin is part of the Landmark chain. Parking was easy and seating was a snap. It only cost $9.00 for the movie. Ill be back.

2023-03-06 17:05:18Classic old theater, tastefully divided into 3 screens. Classic decor has been retained. Good projection and sound. Clean. Seats do not recline and armrests are fixed.

2023-06-16 19:25:51They closed down as of the end of Thursday, June 15 2023. Went for one last movie and it was great. Wish they couldve stayed...

2022-09-02 05:53:36I went on a Thursday afternoon. There was ample seating and every seat seems to provide a good view. Super clean venue. Staff is friendly. Parking is convenient. Popcorn was a little stale. Soda not super carbonated.

2022-10-07 05:16:40Albany Twin is a classic theater which are hard to find these days. The Albany film fest happens here as do a great deal of independent features. It’s a must if you’ve never been!

2018-02-06 22:22:38Adorable small theatre! Went to watch Call Me By My Name, a scarcely available independent film. Comfortable seats, good popcorn. Hardly packed for a Saturday night, which is good for me but hopefully not bad for business. Great neighborhood: stopped by new modern gift shop Morningtide, Hals Coffee for tea, got my nails done all before the 7 PM showing.

2022-06-26 16:07:40We just had a film festival here for one of our youth filmmaking programs, called Reel Stories. There is a straight forward easy rental process and the staff are super friendly and helpful!
