Order was ready for pickup in less than 10 min. Chicken Khao Soi is flavorful but egg noodle was hard to eat. May be due to to-go. It came with two leg pieces. Better to have it in dine in. Kee mao was okay. One thing is to note is the spiciness. They have mild, medium, hot and Thai spicy. We have gone for hot on both dishes and felt it was too much. Should have gone for medium to satisfy our taste buds especially for Kee Mao. Now we just feel the spiciness 🥵

Here we have a hidden gem. Simple, modestly priced, nice decor, clean and the best of Thai cooking. Each item with the freshest ingredients. Each item with different tastes. Thinner sauces, not a lot of thick goop. Nice presentation. Easy to park and convenient location. After stumbling on this about six months ago, we take our family and friends here for both small and large occaisions and it never dissapoints. No, we are not in the restaurant business and dont have a clue who owns this. We are in the computer business. This is a real review, not a recommendation from a relative!

Everything was super delicious- super fast service. All the dishes were artfully presented too. We ordered mostly vegetarian versions but had catfish and chicken basil fried rolls too. It’s pretty inside and bathrooms were spotless. Our server was very thorough. We ordered 9 items and personally I loved the fresh veg roll the most - best one I have had.Will for sure come back!Ok wrote the review and this was without talking about their customized boba drinks - we got A couple of those!

Nice host/waiter. always love Tom yum but this was not good, too sweet and no flavor. Even the color is yellow, not red like usual. Very small portion of the RAMA, it was liquidy like a soup instead of a sauce. I couldn’t taste the peanut at all. I wish people realized ESPECIALLY with vegetarian dishes, you need a significant portion, if not lowering the price Tofu is cheap! This was my to go Rama order. It’s literally a cup for $15. Oh, and it was my birthday

People who hate their jobs shouldnt in flick their emotions on customers who show up. Greeted at the door with bad attitude, ignored while we waited for somebody, anybody. Waited until we asked for service. Waited until we asked for beverages. Surly.The food was decent. However the entree of garlic shrimp came out first and all alone oh, just waiting to get cold. Then came the Tom kha lukewarm, too sweet soup. Next came the appetizer of satay, while the garlic crispy shrimp are getting colder. Last, the Red Dragon and finally rice.The woman with an attitude added to the ambiance of the dining room by hand sweeping with a little brush into constantly banging the dustpan. Annoying as all get-out. we observed other diners be treated rudely and without consideration. Seems like the takeout business is good and with such bad service, one can understand well you wouldnt want to be subjected to that kind of treatment and pay for it.What a messed up dinner presented buy servers who didnt care and shouldnt be anywhere near a customer.

First time we ate there things were incredible very flavorful. Went back tonight and the Pad Thai was incredibly spicy and the Pad Woon Sen had no sauce whatsoever. But the real problem was when we tried to get them to remake the Pad Thai. They told us to bring it back. When we showed up they told us it would take more than 20 minutes to remake and that they didnt do anything wrong and couldnt refund. Very rude and unreasonable for a pretty simple ask. Left a very bad impression. Wont be back.

The foods pretty good. 2 of the three dishes we ordered were high on lemon/lime.We were there at around 8.30 and we were rushed to order as their kitchen was being cleaned up (just say no to new customers, it so much better than rushing them).We got the Tom Kha soup (in pic). The soup was good but you couldnt do more than one little bowl as it was pretty high on the lime.The salad course was Som Tum - the raw papaya salad which was good but again very high on lime..We barely got time to decide what we wanted for main course so we ordered the good ol Pad Thai - the only dish that needed lime. It was pretty good overall.Clearly, we got no time for desserts but I would assume they do a good job with them too.

The lamb was a bit chewy with gristle and I found 2 small bits of bone. The flavor was amazing, so I didnt mind. It felt more authentic that way, but my date disagreed. The curry was also very good. Waitstaff was friendly and she seemed genuinely happy. The atmosphere was very richly decorated and I loved the live fireplace on the TV so much I went home and continued that ambiance.

A girlfriend and I came here and we ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp, which was good, and the stir-fry eggplant with chicken. The flavor was good but the chicken was a but chewy. It came with a soup that had coconut milk and cabbage, with hints of ginger and bay leaf(?), which was mild and had a good flavor.

Review for to-go order: food was very tasty, definitely good quality and flavor. Only down side was the portion sizes of the to go boxes. Was basically a children size portion. I understand restaurants are trying to recover from COVID, but the size of the dishes couldn’t event feed 2 adults. I would try again, but would eat there and not get it to go. hopefully the dishes come with more food when you dine in. We ordered basil rolls, chicken pad Thai, Khao soi- (it was 3/4 full of the crunchy topping and hardly any noodles) and chicken curry.

Quality is slowly degrading at this place. Last couple orders seemed like they were made in hurry. Pad see eew noodles showed as one big uncooked lump. Tom kha soup did not taste the same. We have been their customers thru out the pandemic and were regular customer before that too. It used to be our choice if we couldnt agree on any other restaurant. We love Thai food but lately we have been exploring other Thai places since experience has been sub par. Lanna Thai needs to figure out what changed in last one year.

The location of this restaurant is awesome and thats why its so popular. The food quality is not so great and def. Pricey. I like the thai place in Campbell instead. You can taste its not fresh and is a day or two old. Yesterday, I ordered carry out and at pickup I asked for itemized receipt, they didnt give me one. I had to calculate on my phone how did they come up with the grand total. I was talking to the waitress why I wanted the itemized receipt and she just walked away. Point blank rude.

Food is excellent and prices are decent... odd that youre charged extra if you want rice, but the taste of a lot of the dishes makes you forget about the extra cost until youre contemplating returning. Service can be a little slower, so eating in for a lunch break might be difficult unless you have a high-tipping group.

Ive only been here once. Service was nice and friendly. The prices were a bit steeper than other nearby thai places, but the food was bland and there was less of it compared to those places. We had tom ka and two different pad thai orders as well as thai iced tea.*The tom ka was much sweeter than anywhere else Ive had it. It wasnt bad, it was just different. It was decent flavor once we adjusted to the sweetness. The veggies in it were cooked just the right amount to still have a bit of bite, but not require effort to eat.*The pad thais were different. One was thai hot and with shrimp. The texture of the noodles was decent in that one and the heat covered the lack of flavor.*The other pad thai was medium spicy and with tofu. We did have to request that the tofu was fried as they said they normally serve soft tofu in it, so be aware of that if youre a crispier tofu fan. The heat level was on par with what Id consider mild and the veggies were again cooked just right. The noodles, however, were over soft and soggy feeling and didnt have any bite to them, but worst of all, they didnt have much flavor to them.* The thai iced tea was a bit thinner/waterier than most thai tea and it was definitely not at the top of my favorite cups of thai tea list, but wasnt horrible, however for $4.50 for a tapered and therefor smaller than it appears container or $5.50 without ice, its taste was not in line with its price.It was overall an ok but mildly disappointing dinner. The atmosphere and service was nice, but the food was just ok and the prices werent in line with what they were serving.

Terrible, I was hungry because I skipped dinner the night before. Thought Id eat at a nice restaurant instead of fast food. For a lunch menu it was a little steep, most of the Thai restaurants Ive been to have a lunch price around $7-9, for spicy fish it was $11. I ordered and I let them know that I could not eat rice (insulin issues) so could they substitute salad or some other filler. They said NO. Got the plate and it was (I counted) 5 forkfuls. 6 little 1-2 inch long by 1/2 inch pieces of fish, some (very little) onions and carrot slices. I looked at her and said are you kidding? is that all I get for 11 bucks? she responded well you didnt want rice. WTF, Ill never eat here again, what a rip-off, and too make it worse it wasnt spicy and I asked for medium spice, and the fish was bland and had no flavor. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this rip-off artist. Even if you dont care about money the food was terrible.

One male waiter didnt know what is the menu when asked for a specific item, then become argumentative with customer.They assume people should knows all the details about the menu and wont explain to new customers.Chicken soup was WATERY with TASTELSS pieces of chicken.No flavor whatsoever.Tom Yum noodles were also tasteless.Take out order was stuffed in small cartoon container that made the noodle ONE BIG BLOCK OF STARCH by the time you get home.Absolutely No taste.This place is NOT WORTH the money.Go somewhere else.Bad name for Thai Cuisine

This is probably my favorite Thai restaurant thus far, at least it is one of my favorites in The Bay Area so far. I like how this place has the option for the level of spiciness which I usually get Thai Hot, and it tastes pretty good, enough to make you sweat bullets from all the spiciness, if youre into that kind of thing. The fresh rolls are refreshing and a light appetizer, the roti with curry dipping sauce is also very good, and there are a variety of curries to choose from. The cashew duck goes well with rice and I also like their stir fried noodles and fried rice.

Such a cute little restaurant! Went there with my daughter for lunch. Tucked into the corner of a nice strip mall but still surprisingly nice ambiance inside. Feels like a quality place to eat a meal.Service was quick and friendly. Lunch menu was comprehensive without being overwhelming. We had the Pad Thai and the Tom Yum soup. Both came with a starter of miso soup. The Pad Thai was delicious and beautiful in its presentation. I got the shrimp/chicken combo. Big enough portion for me to take home half. My daughter got the Tom Yum and when asked ordered medium spice. There were two higher levels. The medium was pretty spicy for us white girls! LOL! At one point, our waitress noticed and offered to add more broth to bring the heat down a bit. No thank you, these are tears of culinary joy! Bring the pain please! Stopped in at lunch for some take out and ordered Pork Pad Thai. Menu says $10.95. When ready cashier wants $15 & change! I say there must be a mistake and she looks then tells me he ordered a dinner Pad Thai. I said how is that my problem since it is lunch time. Lanna Thai has very good food. I would leave zero stars if I could. Default spice level is none but they dont bother asking the customer of this is OK. Called them about it and they didnt apologize. Apparently it is up to me to know this dumb rule. They said they would forward the complaint but didnt offer to resolve the issue. How about offering to make me a new one?
