First time here. May be I should have tried Tacos as most of them mentioned in reviews, I tried Chicken Burrito and it was so bland with no spice on it. I asked to dine in but the waitress packed and just said thats it. There was no authentic Mexican salsas its the regular bottled hot sauce the provided.
Dont be fooled by its size, Las Chiquitas is the best Mexican food in Redwood City. Chef Guillermo and his wife Olivia work very hard to make sure you always get quality food. Highly recommended.
I come here all the time. Lobe this place for breakfast and lunch. Everything Guillermo makes is delicious. Very highly recommended.

Went here based on good reviews I saw online. The chef/owner introduced himself and the employees were all very friendly. The chef explained how he makes everything fresh and by hand and he wasn’t kidding. My burrito was absolutely delicious. I am glad I stumbled upon this hidden gem, but sad I didn’t find it sooner! Will definitely be back.
Breakfast burrito is INCREDIBLE! Went back to get a regular burrito as well. Staff is so friendly and food is amazing. Must try spot!
This is my #1 favorite Mexican place in Silicon Valley! Their veggie items are especially delicious — they fry up all the veggies with fresh garlic when you order. Yum! I recommend the veggie quesadilla. Also appreciate the free chips and salsa with your order :). It’s an independent restaurant and The owners are really nice. Shop here and enjoy the best food, reasonable prices, and support local business!

Dad in the back, Hotel Chef retired cooking out of fresh ingredients you can taste on these Off The Hook tacos and burritos. We tried a super steak burrito and a regular taco. Very tasty and filling. We shared the burrito and each had one taco. Lots of meat on the taco which was a huge plus. Flavorful food. Staff was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We will be back!
Authentic Mexican at its Finest! I often eat Mexican food all over the bay area as my job requires me to travel everywhere and this place is hard to beat. Small place but the Tacos are some of the best Ive ever had. Friendly service and my respects for the chef he is the only cook and owner I presume. His Barbacoa Tacos are a must. Will definitely be the only place I think of when Im in the area.

Pretty good Mexican food. Its a small place so dont expect to seat a large group. Lots of options if youre having regular food, but considering theyre open starting at 7 am, it would be nice to see a little more breakfast items on the menu. I enjoyed the breakfast burrito though.

Yesterday my husband brought me the pozole. I love pozole and cook it myself but this was the best pozole I have ever had! The broth is unbelievably good. He also also brought home the special burritos which are sublime, no other burrito even compares to the flavor. I cannot wait to meet Guillermo and Olivia in person and thank them myself.
I got a super burrito Al pastor, One will think because it’s in establishment it will be better than a lunch truck, but not !I payed 17,65 $ for a super burrito and a soda, and it wouldn’t be too bad Except the quality wasn’t there, for a “super burrito”with no sour cream no avocado dry out meat, it was way too expensive, makes me wonder how they’re still in business especially in these hard times

Seriously good carnitas. Got a few tacos, guac on the side. Tortillas heated up on the grill perfectly. Meat wasnt overly fatty but still full of flavor. Super fresh salsa 👍🏽

If youre a fan of Mexican food, its an awesome place. Plus, a few home cooked specials such as Dorado shrimp wrapped with beef. Husband/wife owned/run. Very frendly!

The best food in Redwood City downtown (sorry Vesta and LV Mar). Barbacoa everything (taco, burrito) is excellent. They have some of the best rice/beans. They have excellent daily specials.

I have been to Las Chiquitas a few times and I love the food and the service. I love taqueria places and this one is by far the best in the area that ive tried so far. I love their carne asada (steak) I personally got the tacos and loved them but my husband likes the burritos
I love their fish tacos. They also make fresh carrot juice and chicken vegetable soup that is great for the winter months.

I came in and ask for something that was not on the menu, and most places they would turn you away and say we dont have it.... Well the owner which happen to be also the one who does the cooking fixed me a fish plate and was amazing, I became a weekly regular and always leave satisfied.....
Literally never open. Why close at 7pm? And every time you come, you get some hand written sign that they’re closed.

I remember the first time I visited this place and from that moment it became one of my favorites, the food is not Mexican-American, the dishes are really Mexican, the chilaquiles and pozole are my favorites. The owners of the business are the cooks and waiters, they are so nice and friendly, I hadnt visited the restaurant for 2 years and they still remembered me, I loved it ❤️
The breakfast tacos are very good. They are chorizo with egg accompanied by a very tasty tomatillo sauce

The place is fine, the man attends very well. What I dont like is that they ask for a coffee and they dont even pay attention when its over and you ask them and the ladies kind of get angry. The huevos rancheros are good but they should have more sauce in the broth.

This is the best we have found so far (still does not meet the standard set by Mexican joints in TX, hence only 4 stars). The green sauce here is superb and pretty much makes anything taste good. The customer service was excellent.

2019-08-25 16:55:46Mom and pop restaurant with the finest tasting Mexican food Ive had in the US (and Ive lived in LA for 6 years). Vegetables are fresh and wonderfully seasoned. They spend an entire weekend preparing sauces and all other fillings are made to order. Friendly service with a smile!

2023-05-12 16:12:09My tires blew out and I had to spend 600 on replacing them close by at Americas Tire, BUT while waiting I got some amazing breakfast burritos. I would have never known this place was around if my tire didnt go out on me. 10/10 definitely made my day
