We only came for a snack. Got free homemade chips for being first-timers. Ordered the chicken lettuce wraps. Everything was tasty. Service was great- attentive and friendly. Great outdoor patio for the doggone. A nice visit overall.

All three of our burgers were excellent. Halfway through the meal we all said we are definitely coming back here.We ordered our burgers medium but they came rare, which is fine, burgers were delicious. Still, that would be the only criticism I could give on this visit.The fries are excellent and the onion rings are delicious and just the right amount of tender and crispy.Our server Rico was so friendly and gracious, really took care of us.Overall, a great pleasant dining experience. Definitely recommend.

Excellent experience. We took grandma for a birthday dinner and it didn’t disappoint. Grandma has a walker so they seated us right away which I much appreciated. They even parked her walker valet style by the hostess.We had the sweet potato tots and goat cheese with jelly appetizers. Chicken lettuce wraps, blue burger, and pork shoulder for dinner. Add a few margaritas and wine for a delicious meal. We averaged about $50 per person which is reasonable for the quality and quantity of food and beverages. I would definitely go back and try a few other things on the menu.

Was my first time here. They gave us complementary chips which was super sweet. I love their history and how they were a family business from a small town focused on fresh ingredients. The menu is very diverse and if you have dietary restrictions, you’ll probably be able to find something to eat. The portions are not huge but just right. The Thai chicken had great flavor - the chicken was a little tough but I think it was because it was white meat, which is healthier but a tougher part of the chicken. Everyone has a great time. I would say expect to spend about $30/ person for food, drink, tax and tip no appetizers.

I never thought a restaurant called Lazy Dog would be so cool. It was like a huge cabin inside with enormous windows, very comfortable booths and a great bar. The food was excellent and our drinks were fabulous. The service was spectacular. I cant say enough about how surprised I was.

Went for lunch with my dog and had a fantastic first experience! Food was great! Had plenty of space on the patio. Service was super friendly (they were busy for sure but still got what we needed). They even gave my dog his own water bowl and I was able to order him lunch as well! (So cute!) he and I loved our lunches (he gobbled his up!). Love that there is such a dog friendly spot close to us!

This is our family spot! Ive never had a bad meal or bad service in all the years of Ive been coming to the Brea location. Friendly staff, excellent cooking, and a menu thats constantly change while keeping peoples favorites on the menu! I always hit a Lazy Dog in Las Vegas, and the experience was about the same: excellent food and great service! I included some extra pics.

Came in from John Wayne Airport. It was late afternoon and not busy. Wait staff was adequate, but just. Food was very good. Fresh, tasty, excellent presentation. Having waited in another life, the worst times (for service) tend to be in that nether region between lunch & dinner. It happens and considering the quality of the food I would think that this is not at all typical of the experience.

It doesn’t get much better than Butter Cake topped with minted Strawberry compote and a big scoop of yummy Vanilla Bean Ice Cream!The Butter Cake was so delicious!!Of course, Queso to share was a great way to start our meal. So cheesy! The Queso Dip has jack, cheddar, queso blanco, pimento, hatch chiles, cilantro black beans with hand-cut tortilla chips. Super yummy!Baja California Burger : it looked impressive when it came to the table but not my favorite. The bottom of the bun was a little too soggy for me. The half-pound beef patty was cooked perfectly. I love guacamole and hatch chiles but I didn’t love it in this burger. I felt like it needed something to have a little crunch or texture. I couldn’t really taste the roasted jalapeno-lime aioli.One friend got the BBQ Ranch Bacon Burger and loved it! I’ve had it before and it’s delicious.A couple friends ordered the Thai Noodles, which had shrimp, ground chicken, tofu, peanuts, stir-fried egg, bean sprouts and peanut sauce. It was huge! Hard to finish so they took some home.Cozy atmosphere and love the decor. It does get quite busy.

Stopped by for a quick lunch on our Anniversary and what a surprising delight of great food and customer service. We ordered street corn fries, wings, corn dogs, and a South western fried chicken salad and all tasted great. Were definitely going to come back for a full feast. They even treated us with garlic chips as a welcome to eating here for the first time.

This Lazy Dog has a great variety of choices on their menu, and the food is of great quality. I would only say that some of the wait staff could be more attentive. It took about 10-15 for us to be asked about our drink choices, and I noticed another server dropping by a couple of girls repeatedly to just chat (and probably flirt). Other than that, its a great place to have dinner!

Great place! Highly recommend! Rich, our server was awesome, attentive & knowledgeable. This was our first time here, and we will be back. The Salmon was Delicious as were the sandwiches & fries...yummm!!!! The manager was also amazing! Very happy!!!! Oh, we also took advantage of their buy 5 get one free $10 Frozen TV dinner style meals for later. Cant beat a $10 meal these days.

New to me Lazy Dog Cafe. Very busy on a Friday night, but we still got seated in 30 minutes rather than the original quote of 60 minutes. Restaurant is large with both indoor and outdoor seating. And yes, people can bring their dogs for seating outside. Our server was awesome and on top of it. The Brussel Sprouts were amazing --the capers were a nice touch. I ordered pot roast. Its a good portion size. The meat was very tender. The food elevated our experience. Great job all around. Hosts did a great job as well.

I like this chain because its consistent. The service was good but got a little slow at peak lunch hour. My blue cheese burger was delicious and they cooked it to perfection. (Very rare). That tells me the quality of the meat is good when they actually can serve it rare).The atmosphere is always pleasant, this location no exception. I enjoy doing business lunches here as they have great booth seating.

Came here for lunch with coworkers. Their menu has a good variety of food choices. Our waitress was friendly and helpful but was not attentive with the water refills. I ordered the grilled lemon chicken and was disappointed in how dry the chicken was when cutting into it. The food presentation was good but tasted a bit bland. Had better experience at other Lazy Dog locations.

I went to Lazy Dog in a different city about 5 years ago. When my daughter wanted to meet at the one in Brea I was not real excited. But we were able to bring our dog and sit on the patio. The food was fabulous, (a bit pricey) the service was perfect, and they had a menu for the pup. Best experience, will do it again!

This is the first time my family and I visited Lazy Dog Restaurant. We picked this establishment because they allow dogs to sit and with their humans in their patio area. They also offer water and food dishes for your dog. We felt very welcomed and the staff was friendly. We ordered appetizers, main courses, desserts, and both alcohol and non alcohol drinks. Service was great, food was delicious and my 7 month old puppy was happy. It was a very enjoyable evening.

The service was good our server was very nice, but there was one lady who seemed middle-aged was very rude. I haven’t seen my server for a long time so I was trying to ask her for help to see if she could do me a favor and let my server know that I need something. I said excuse me but she just gave me a side eye and walk away. Was that too much to ask??? Other than that everything was good.

While I was worried about not finding a restaurant where I could take my dog, I decided to try it after a friend recommended it, and I was satisfied in many ways.First of all, it is a restaurant where you can eat with your dog without worrying too much if your dog barks. Also, other customers also bring their dogs, so you dont have to be sensitive and worry about your dog. Also, because it is a meal on the patio, it has a different atmosphere from indoors and dogs are welcome too. Without getting bored with the interior and the different atmosphere...If there were any regrets, it would be that there were a lot of flies because it was outdoors, the dog food seemed a bit poor compared to the price, and the regular drinks such as coke were very bland and did not taste like the drinks I usually buy. I hope this can be improved. The food was satisfactory in terms of taste, quantity, and price.

This is a very cozy restaurant. They did have gluten free options but made you aware they are not a gluten free restaurant. The food was good but not great. I would recommend skipping the hashbrowns as they were burnt and stiff. Not good. Otherwise the server was very nice and the atmosphere welcoming and cozy.

Casual chain restaurant with an eclectic mix of food. Came here on a Sunday around 6:30pm and the place was pretty busy, but we got seated right on time for our reservation. There’s indoor and outdoor dining. Wear a mask. Credit cards are accepted. Bathrooms are available on the left hand side close to the bar area. Parking is available in their lot. They do offer alcohol.Food-wise, the portions are big and you’ll have leftovers. I opted to split the sticky ribs with umami fries, and even then, still had a little bit of food left over. The ribs were on the sweeter side (which I personally like) and the fries came with a good amount of sauce. There’s coleslaw on the side as well, and the food thoughtfully came already split into two plates. The Chicken Parmesan was similarly large - there’s a generous amount of cheese and a pile of pasta. We also got the crispy wings for an appetizer, which came with ranch, bbq sauce, and a Buffalo spice, which was tangy. Our waitress was really sweet and friendly. Overall, it’s a casual, chill spot to grab some food and/or drinks.

First time went there cause we got an outing with few friends and some of us has dogs; this restaurant has special outdoor sittings for patrons who come with their dogs. Choices of food are good. Prices are on the high side. Customer service were ok. Waiting time to be seated and for all of our food to arrive was ridiculously long. Between this location, the Orange location, the Cerritos location, and the Downey location, this one is my favorite.The food is always good. My favorites are the bison meatloaf, the crispy chicken salad, and the chicken tortilla soup with parmesan crisps. Patiently waiting for them to bring back the lentil soup though.Typical to all Lazy Dog Cafes, dogs are allowed on the outdoor patio. They serve your dog water, and you can order dog friendly meals (I think about $6).

**This is a dog friendly restaurant. If you don’t like dogs or are allergic this is not the place for you. I loved the experience. Lots of friendly doggies around great food and very good service. The special sauces are a nice touch and the unique cocktails are great to pair with the food. They even have a dog menu for your furry friend to enjoy a meal with you. With a Lil effort you can walk south out of Brea mall and within a few minutes have a seat at Lazy dog. With black Lab in tow had great food and drinks on patio with fire ring and space heaters. The restaurant service was amazing Constantly checking up on us and refilling out drinks. My teenage daughter is very very picky and she enjoyed it there . We loved the outside area, and our pup did also. Food was mostly weird tasting as though the chef was trying to make a statement rather than serve well prepared familiar dishes. The fish-and-chips was totally greasy and the end we had to send it back.. The thai salad had no real dressing on it, but some hot spices. My wifes lemon chicken, with mashed potatoes and tasty green bean side, was very good. Petey enjoyed the doggy dish of chicken, with rice and carrots, and fresh water.

Enjoyed the lunch menu on monday july 3. I had the fish & chips. Two pieces of battered cod, coleslaw & more fries then you can eat. Lunch partner had the 5-6 st. Louis ribs. Each rib cut individually, also served with slaw & fries. The service was attentive & the atmosphere very nice. I think I might be missing something. Why do people wait to eat here?This place is so crowded it is borderline crazy. So many people love it. It’s just a normal place to eat.The food is average. Chicken was fried and dry in the chicken bowl.The screens are so small and tucked way high to be able to actually watch a game if you intend to do that while there.Service was great and Fabio was very helpful and polite.It’s not a bad place but it is not something to wait for.

We forgot to mention we were bringing our doggo but they accommodated us and we were able to dine al fresco with minimal wait. Amy,our server, is the best! Super nice and attentive. She didnt let our water glasses go empty and made sure we were taken care of. On top of that the General Manager, Miguel, came out to greet us and to thank us for dining here. We got a little treat! Always good service. Friendly greeting and we were seated immediately. Our server was very helpful guiding us through the menu. The non-alcoholic Strawberry Lemonade was very good and refreshing. My baked roast beef sandwich was huge (could be shared) and served a soft roll making it asy to bite into. Very tasty and better than most places serving french dip style sandwiches with au jus on the side. I chose their coleslaw which was creamy and delicous.There are other options available as a side, but I prefer a good coleslaw when its available. I ended up bringing half of my lunch home and enjoyed it later that day. Still great.I personally love The Lazy Dog. It has a diverse menu to please everyones palate.

The food and drinks exactly what you would expect at a Lazy Dog. The service is above average in my experience at various locations. The atmosphere, especially for dog owners, is a cut above other locations. Unlike the Irvine location, dogs are allowed and welcomed. Awesome food and service. I came here with a group of bridesmaids after we shopped for dresses and we had such a great time. Both Indoor and outdoor seating was available. Our server was so helpful even when it came to one of the girls dietary concerns. He recommended several plates and i ended up loving the ahi tuna salad. It was so fresh and delicious. Ive been coming here for years and closed the bar more times than I can count. The chefs are amazing, as are the servers, hosts and bartenders... This is my favorite place to go for a quick and casual bite to eat out with friends, whether during the weekend or the week. Ive always been a fan of the mojitos, especially the coconut mojito, but the blueberry lemon martini is also excellent. Of course, you cant go wrong with the candy bacon. Thats an absolute must for anyone who is coming here to eat.Bring a big appetite and plenty of antacids. Youll need them when contending with this much fried food.

This is not a place that I would recommend for drinks. They have a full bar, which is great, but the drinks at this location were not good at all. I ordered an old fashion and sent it back. It tasted like watered-down bourbon. My 2nd drink was a mule because I figured that this drink only has 2 ingredients, so how could it be wrong. It was. Four of us arrived at 5:30 pm, the Friday of Christmas weekend. Although finding parking was a challenge, the restaurant itself was not that busy. The front desk staff was very friendly. There was a minimal wait to be seated. Most of the restaurant is wide open space with tables, a high ceiling, and a hard surface floor. I find this to be too noisy and not relaxing at all. There is also outside patio seating with heaters so you can bring your dog. I prefer inside where it is warmer. Luckily, they also have a more contained area with booth seating. I really appreciate this effort to cater to different peoples seating preferences. We got a great booth against the wall and were waited on immediately. This is not the place to go if you are looking for a lot of healthy options. Two of us opted for different hamburgers with half pound patties that came with your choice of one side. My husband got fish and chips that came with seasoned fries and a side of Cole Slaw, and the other (vegetarian) got a stir fry with tofu. All were well prepared and delivered to our table quickly and hot. The food itself and prices were average for similar types of restaurants. Highlights and recommendations are the garlic edamame appetizer and the seasoned French fries. I was disappointed that I chose fresh fruit as my side and just got a small piece of watermelon, but it was tasty considering it was out of season. My generous husband shared some of his seasoned fries, which were excellent. Next time, I will just give up the illusion if trying to be good and get the seasoned fries myself. They brought this electronic thing to the table for us to pay ourselves. I am not a big fan of the new trend of having customers do what employees used to do, but it seems this is happening in more and more places in an effort to save money and time. I know that there are some customers who actually prefer it this way.

Really bad experience I had with this location.He couldn’t get my steak 🥩 medium-well properly. The grill is too hot it burns steak outside but it’s not cooking. I was disappointed ☹️. Be aware however that dogs seem to be allowed and encouraged on the patio outside and there were more than a dozen tables with dogs while we were there. Not all of the dogs dealt well and two dogs next to our table decided to get aggressive and growl at each other less than two feet from my 9-year old son. The owners quickly pulled them apart, but it freaked out my son and he was nervous for the remainder of the meal. Certainly did not ruin the trip by any means, but something to be aware of.

And it tasted like ground steak.If that burger was all I had that night, I would have been happy and satisfied, but no there was more - the fries. For my side, I tried the Umami Fries for the first time and it was surprisingly good. I wish I could describe it, but I really cant. I will leave it up to your imagination, but It comes with a white dipping sauce that has a slight kick to it giving it another dimension.Overall, I had a great birthday meal. Nice change. Worth trying for a change and nice servers. Warning about parking which has spaces that are very narrow. I recommend driving an old junk vehicle. Not much squeeze through space between parked vehicles. Appeared someone drug a purse or lite metal object across my door paint. Keep in mind there are other establishments that share the narrow parking so be prepared to spend a lot of time looking for a parking space.

You can never go wrong with Lazy Dog, but this particular location is really exceptional. The food is awesome as always. The only problem is deciding. I have never had anything but great meals at any LD. But this one has the most beautiful patio. Somehow they have made a spot right by the freeway feel like a mountain resort. It is a really pleasant atmosphere. The service is excellent and the inside and bar are really cool too! Love this place!

I’ve been coming here every weekend and the service, food, and drinks are amazing. We usually sit out on the patio since we bring our dog. The patio is big and peaceful, especially compared to the other Lazy Dogs in OC. Two people that always make our experience a good one is server, Jen Acosta, and manager Marissa. They are always a joy to see and bring a family atmosphere when we come to visit. They are apart of the reason we visit as much as we do!!

Its a really strange restaurant. The name of the store is a dog signboard, and when we brought the dog in, they looked at us with strange eyes... And a strange woman working in front said that dogs shouldnt sit on tables and chairs... I didnt say anything... So when I looked at the floor, it was seriously dirty... I wonder if my dog should sit there... I felt so bad that I just left... I will never go to a store like this again... Starting with the signboard name Please change it to another name LAZY 🐁

As soon as you walk in you know this place is all about quality! I had a bit of an issue with my bison burger but not enough to complain about it. Sandra was our server and she was all about it, she was nice and sweet and didn’t hover! Great place definitely will come back again when I’m in town!

The service was fantastic! We had a first timer to the Lazy Dog and the manager brought us a plate of chips as a welcome, nice touch. The calamari appetizer was good, thought it was strange that it came with rice, but it works - even for non-calamari fans! Stuck with the PB & J Burger - cant go wrong and never do, give it and them a go!

First off we got here just after 5 PM on a Saturday and it was already pretty full. We actually circled and waited a while to get a parking spot. I think people were also waiting for either outdoor seating or one of the regular tables but we were seated immediately at a high-top near the bar.Living in West LA, this place seemed huge with tons of seating yet there were also lots of diners and it was completely packed all night. The service was really good though and they responded to requests very quickly.For drinks, I ordered the Huckleberry Haze IPA and you could definitely taste some berry flavor. The staff was also good about asking about refills when they saw empty glasses.For food, we started with the calamari appetizer which honestly could have been an entrée. I think it was some sort of stir-fried crusted calamari on a bed of rice. I thought I heard wrong when they asked my friend if we wanted white or brown rice with it. The portion was also entrée size. It had great flavor but was big for an appetizer so order if very hungry or with lots of people.For my entrée I got the Baja California burger with french fries. The burger was moist and delicious (I recently had a turkey burger elsewhere so this tasted like heaven with its juiciness). The fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I almost couldnt finish the fries and I LOVE fries.So obviously when it came time to think about dessert, we had to tap out. My friend thought about trying their new triple chocolate mousse but we were so full and also just before dinner we were at a chocolate shop taste-testing way too much chocolate. Next time...

While in town on business I was able to meet up with some family. Hands down unanimous choice when we were deciding on a place to meet. We sat on the patio and as usual the service and food were excellent. As it was a bit breezy and cool the manager noticed, moving a patio heater over near our table. Attention to detail counts.

Fantastic ambience, superior food, excellent service. We went during their happy hour and had the brussel sprouts, the chicken wraps, and the calamari, all excellent and very tasty. I had the pomegranate sangria, which was really just kinda okay, my wife just had the pink lemonade, which was very tasty, however, I cant comment on the alcoholic libations, but from our vantage, the bar looked very well stocked and inviting. We visited right after brunch ended on the weekend and majority of the seats opened up. we ordered off of the lunch special portion of the menu and were satisfied. i feel as though the portion size couldve been a bit more but it was fine. the waiter we had was great and very attentive. i also felt as if some of the items on the menu were a bit overpriced but i think well return soon.
