Finally Simi has a top notch bakery. This place is so delicious. I got the Kyoto matcha melon bread (no it doesn’t taste like melon) and the peach danish. Me and my friends demolished them both in no time, tasted incredible. The person working said they make them all in house daily and it shows. Just be aware, they are only open Thursday through Sunday. 100% recommend a try

This is an incredible Japanese French bakery in Simi Valley! All the pastries, pies, cookies, and sandwiches are made to perfection. And great coffee and teas, too. You must visit! 🥐🦔♥️😋💯👏

Friendly staff and Very tasty baked items. An employee told me the owner is a chef from Japan who studied in Paris a few years and is now fusing both worlds together. I’ve had a Matcha latte and a few pastries so far. Everything was really good! It’s a new go to spot for me. Highly recommended!

Finally! A 5 star bakery in Simi! I always say, you can judge a bakery by its custard. In this case it was smooth and delectable. Everything we tried so far has been high quality and delicious. Even the most sophisticated palates will be satisfied.

I love this place. This is what baked goods should taste like. Croissants that are like a crispy light cloud of butter. Cinnamon rolls that are delicate and just the right amount of gooey and sweet. These are not corporate cinnamon rolls. The croque monsieur was hot melty goodness on a freezing cold morning. For the fusion cuisine there are matcha muffins and matcha danishes. The matcha muffin is unusual but I loved it. Its a dense, green reminder there is a Japanese baker in charge. Im sure thats why there are yummy pastry balls filled with sweet bean paste or Japanese curry. The matcha latte was a perfect hot, creamy, foamy accompaniment to this perfect flavor parade. Loved the egg, bacon and cheese pastry as well as the sausage and jalapeno peppers covered in cheddar cheese. Did I mention she makes banana cream pie? Everything we ordered was delicious and baked to perfection. Great place to spend a Saturday morning or grab something to eat at home. If you have friends in town who will be visiting the Reagan Library, I would tell them to swing by Le Herisson and pick up a hot coffee or tea and take along some incredible pastries. This place is a keeper and another reason to be proud of our city.

All I can say is WOW. Can’t believe this gem is in Simi Valley. The hand made croissants and danishes are insanely good. I’ve cooked my whole life and this place is special. Highlights so far are everything I’ve tried: Pastrami croissant, Cappuccino croissant, Apricot Danish, the popeye, all 10/10. Just do yourself a favor and go.

Im sad that I forgot to take photos of gorgeous pastries we got here!!! They were gobbled up so quickly, simply forgot. So you.must just go and see for yourself.The chef is classically trained and her beautifully executed recipes do not disappoint!!! We tried the apple, the pear, the chocolate.crossant. the cowboy(my sons personal favorite) a matcha croissant. The pear had a little sprig of mint under the pears, and it was a great surprise!Such a treat to have this spot in Simi. Thank you, Chef!!

Absolutely, love this place, the people are super friendly. The coffees delicious the pastries are to die for I do not like super sweet heavy pastries and these are so light and refreshing and delicious.🤍🩷

Delicious almond croissant and good coffee. A delight! The server explained the shop name means “hedgehog” in French. Very sweet!
