We recently had lunch here.The place is huge, with multiple seating options. Indoors outdoors, in the back, in the front, seats with cushions and pillows.The food was really good. We asked the staff on recommends and they suggest taco and mussels. So we tried both and both were amazing.We loved the vibe of the place and the staff were sweet. The service was quick. I highly recommend the mussels, it was so simple and yummy!

Beautiful spot in Encinitas for dinner. I came here with a friend during happy hour and she was happy with her margarita. The bartender took time to explain some things on the menu as well. The Kalua pork was a hefty portion of pork but ironically I thought they couldve put more rice on the plate. My friend got a couple of tacos she was happy with. Id definitely come back again to try out some other things from the menu.

Great spot for live music. Great drinks, great food, great night out! Would go again, would bring friends, would recommend to anyone wanting a spectacular night out.

Very good bar food in a neighborhood eatery with a kickback beachy vibe. The fried chicken sandwich consisted of chicken breast fried in batter with a tinge of Tabasco served on a soft brioche bun with cabbage slaw mix (no dressing). It was crispy and crunchy with a hint of spice. Very nicely done. Fries were crunchy and the house made lemonade was sweet. Service was pleasant. Menu has a large selection of sandwiches as well tacos, burgers and a very nice selection of salads. Indoor and outdoor seating with a cute bar and dog friendly patio. There is a tiny parking lot, but theres plenty of street parking. Fun place.

I set up a celebration dinner here on 08/11 and after seeing the menu and pictures posted online, I was so excited to book a reservation. Reserved a table for two for an inside table (this was specified) three days in advance and was ready to go!Got a text message on the way to the restaurant that my table was ready, and I thought this was a great little touch and made me feel like my reservation meant something. It was all downhill from there.Once I got to the hostess stand, she grabbed the two menus and led us to our table, outside, curbside... Im not really one to make a fuss on these situations so I just rolled with it, but it was strike one in my head.We then proceeded to wait 30 minutes until we were acknowledged by ANYBODY. There were tables around us getting served, but we sat there getting passed up with empty glasses of water that were never filled waiting for anyone to acknowledge us.After the 30 minute wait, we finally got our waitress, who I will not name here, that seemed less than enthusiastic to serve our table and made me less than enthused to be here. She took out drink order and disappeared.10 minutes laters, these 2 absolutely beautiful drinks were dropped off without a word, and our waitress disappeared again to our confusion.After another ten minutes she did come back to take our food order and that was the last time our waitress came to our table voluntarily without us having to wave or hunt her down. At times we had to ask the ladies at the hostess stand for assistance regarding issues at our table which should never be the case.The food, however, was presented beautifully. Whoever is doing the plating and drink set up, I want to give you a big shout out! Keep up the beautiful work!The taste did not live up to the presentation. We order the calamari, the paella, and the lobster roll with the Mac and cheese. The calamari had some flavor but the Lobster Roll and Mac and Cheese were sadly lacking in that category. The paella was beyond salty for both of our palettes and ended up getting returned. The bread was fresh though and the pesto accompaniment was a great addition.Overall, I was looking forward to this dinner, but was wholeheartedly disappointed. The celebration dinner was ruined by an disheartening seating assignment, food that was decent at best and mediocre to non existent service.Although the presentation of the food and drinks was remarkable, I could not and would not recommend. However, quite a few people seated elsewhere in the establishment seemed to be having a great time, so to each their own.

We arrived for happy hour and stayed for dinner. The service was attentive and not intrusive. We didnt get moved to a bigger table at dinner even though we had an extra person and our table was reserved for someone else so it was a bit uncomfortable. But the food was good. The atmosphere was very nice outside with heaters at the tables. Service was friendly and helpful and live music in the background was really a nice touch. Would definitely come back. Good food but not for the price sensitive.

Best place ever! My hubby and I have been going there for over 10 years, and food is always great! Sean is my favorite waiter, and Alonso is cool also. Was there just the other day and had the best Pozole ever with their amazing homemade chips and salsa. Go there you wont be disappointed!

A wonderful dinner place with great ambience. A good place to hang out with friends. They have ample food options both of vegetarians and meat lovers. We were having a great time and the last ones to get out. The staff was friendly and was generous with giving us the time to wind up at our own pace.

Buyer beware from Google category: Im not sure that this identifies as Mexican cuisine as mostly seemed like pub food to me. Prime Rib, Salmon, Chicken, salads, sandwiches. Not sure I remember any Mexican food on menu, but certainly not the main focal point for cuisine.But its a pretty neutral experience.Either way, friendly and attentive service from my bartender as appeared to have just finished a busy service.The last call for food was about 45 minutes before their listed closing time. The last call for drink was shortly after.Ill be back if Im in a pinch for later decent food and drink, but its certainly not a destination to build my evening around.

It is our first time to eat to this restaurant. They have live band and bar, i like the ambiance and the arrangement of their table setting outside .
