2023-06-02 01:51:58The Jambalaya was so good and flavorful! I could chose the spice level between 2-5 and 2 is mild. I chose 3 and man! It was so spicy I had to take my glasses off cause I started sweating 😂 but overall it was really good. The Fried Crab Mac and Cheese Balls were delicious. My fiancé had the Étouffée and that was pretty good also! Definitely coming back to try more.

2023-04-27 02:26:42THE place to go when in Palmdale area. Im not a local and come here for work, so jealous of such a legit Cajun place. Everything is on the mark and authentic. You have to experience the food yourself. I just do pickups and its best to order ahead, but if you have the time, eat in the small dining area. Daily specials too, variety is great, prices reflect quality so dont go there to penny pinch, order the Mac n cheese crab balls and youd think youre eating a crab cake with a little Mac n cheese. I just had the Sautéed Shrimp Po Boy sandwich, the smothered cabbage, and the Mac n cheese crab balls. Plenty for two, but I at the sandwich and saved some of the rest for later. Locals know, bit for visitors, its worth going off the beaten path. Its right next to Shogun Sushi too...

2023-02-19 00:06:33So good. So YummyThe best!!!!Thank u for the serviceGenerous sizeI had Cajun shrimp that serve in the bag before as a fun Cajun seafood. So I wanted to have the same taste but guys this crazy Cajun shrimps is new experience for me.I pick 3 stars out of 5 spicy Ness but I tasted 4 stars in jambalaya it was good! So 4stars spicy is not too much at all!White rice can be swoop to dirty rice ( seasoned rice with shredded pork kinda thing. It’s yummy but I enjoy white rice with my Cajun shrimp coz I only wanna taste the buttery garlic sauce)Close at 9We will go there again!

2022-11-03 02:19:45It was our first time here. The place is small but very clean and warming. We had the jambalaya and the Etouffe plates for dinner and the pork/rice balls for appetizers, The food was delicious and spice level 3 is spicy but very delicious, the staff was super friendly and informative. Definitely coming back again.

2023-11-16 08:43:59I grew up on a small farm in Kentucky. I’m not sure how the dish ever made its way into my moms recipe book. But, sometime in my childhood, out of nowhere, it seems, Red Beans and Rice just showed one up one night on our dinner table. I never thought much about it back then. As a kid, it tasted good so I just ate it up. It’s been more than 40 years since I had my moms Red Beans and Rice. And, from time to time, I get a craving for it. But, we live 2000 miles apart now. It’s cold and raining here in Palmdale tonight. I’m from out of town, here on business, and was looking for a place to grab some sort of “comfort food” for dinner. Came across Lee Esthers on the web. Sounded interesting so I drove down, walked in, and was greeted by the nicest lady ever. She took my order to go and I was out of there in less than 5 minutes. Came back to the hotel and settled in. Took my first bite and I was floored. Best bowl of Red Beans and Rice I’ve ever tasted. I can’t even describe it. I know y’all, it’s just some red beans and white rice. But, that’s just the point, I suppose. Somehow they’ve taken these two simple ingredients and turned them into something amazing. That bowl was filled with love, flavor, authenticity…heart warming, soul soothing, southern goodness and true perfection. I’m so glad I found this place. Belly full, feeling nostalgic…think I’ll give mom a call…😢I don’t know who Lee Esther is. And, I’ve never been to New Orleans. But, tonight I feel like I was invited into Lee Esther’s home in New Orleans for a warm, delicious, genuine, Louisiana style, home cooked dinner on a cold, rainy night.I love supporting family owned businesses. I love places like this…. Special place. Not many like it left in the world. Appreciate you, Lee Esther and family!!

2022-12-07 22:37:36Outstanding food and service - one of my favorite restaurants in Palmdale. I would absolutely recommend you give Lee Esthers a try!I went on a lunch break with coworkers and was delighted with my lunch shrimp po boy - perfect portion sizes with a side of fries. The etoufee looked delicious and received raving reviews (both crawfish and shrimp). The tea glasses are gigantic mason jars.Michael, our server, was amazing - he really made the whole experience that much better!

2022-10-15 04:30:07Mom & Pop shop. Wonderful family with a delicious skill of cooking. I got the drunken noodles(Thursday Special). Large portion. Tea is perfect flavor. This right here is a small restaurant with big flavor and potential. Louisiana vibe from mother, father and son. Highly recommend to those in the area looking for a full stomach

2023-11-04 01:07:22I can see why theyve been in business for so many years. It truly tastes like home cooking, just from Louisiana. And Ive never had banana pudding quite like that for dessert - excellent!
