Good doughnuts, not quite as good as Bob’s in the city, but better than average doughnut, and very friendly service, and clean and convenient to get to space. Nice variety of doughnuts. 🍩

Picked up a dozen donuts for $19.50 this morning for a meeting. I was in and out pretty quick. Donuts were good. Staff was very friendly.

Delicious donuts, eclair and bear claws (the breakfast sandwiches are good too the last time i had them), amazing Thai Tea, great prices and its all baked fresh! Owners are very nice, always a line out the door, 10/10!

If Google allowed me to give this man more than 5 stars I’d give him 10 million! Hands down the best donuts I’ve had in my life and the #1 thing I miss not being an Alameda local anymore. No where sells magical, amazingly delicious, perfection of a donut like this place! The drive from Vallejo to here just to get my donut fix and it’s 100% worth it every time. Thank you for being the best donut maker ever!!! You make life sweet, literally!

First let me say that they have the BEST donuts. It had been a year since my last visit and the owner recognized me and mentioned that it had been that long. I was so impressed by how welcome that made me feel. Makes me realize how important it is for us to get to know our community!

Of all the donut places in Alameda, Lees gives you the best value. Always quick in and out. Good croissants. Love the old-fashioned glazed. French crullers are great too! Folks behind the counter are super nice.

The undisputed best donuts in Alameda (imo). If you desire high quality donuts, good size, and great price, this is your shop. If you want fancy donuts then I recommend donut petit. They are also good but a different style of donut which is not my personal preference. Lees is more of a blue collar style.

Delicious donuts ! Made on site, the glazed donuts melt in your mouth.Get them in the morning while theyre still warm.Staff is super nice too. One guy is always making everyone laugh.

I kind of have this obsession with their croissants.Theyre huge, fluffy, delicious, and cheap!The donuts are really good too!They sell out of things quick depending on the day. I was there on a Wednesday morning at 10 and they barely had anything left. The secret is out about this place.The owners are really nice, and shell throw in a couple donut holes for free.$10 minimum credit card transactions.

This is by far the best place to get donuts in Alameda. Everyday their donuts are made fresh unlike some other places I want to. If your looking for a fresh donut without a big line, this is the place to go.

Did you know that the proper spelling for a ring-shaped cake made of dough that is fried is doughnut? Apparently someone found the ugh in doughnut to be too long and it was shorten to donut. Well now you know, youre welcome.I come to Lees Donuts for the stuffed jelly donut holes and stay for the breakfast bagels. The shops donuts are like most fried sugary dough, freaking delicious. The fact that the donuts are great is not a big shocker; the fact that Lees Donuts make a great breakfast bagel is awesome. Lees donut places the majority of its focus on its donuts so dont expect a large selection of bagels. I personally enjoy their Everything Bagel with bacon, egg and cheese.Lees Donuts is a small mom and pops shop that carries your standards donut selection (see list below), a large selection of beverages (sodas, juices, milks, coffees, espresso, teas) and of course cigarettes (I dont get the cigarette and donut connection). Came here the morning after celebrating a friend’s housewarming and, well, yeah, these weren’t the highlight of the trip.I love a good doughnut. Heck, I even like an average doughnut. Happily for them, these fall firmly into the average doughnut category. However, what their average doughnut bring to the table (the best compliment you can give them is “fills the doughnut itch if you must have one”), the service negates.I enjoy some sass from my servers when it’s well-intentioned good fun sass. When it’s just plain not-nice sass, however, I’m less keen.That’s exactly what I received when I was here with my friends. We ordered two dozen doughnuts and it was a bit of an adventure. I picked a few, then asked for them to fill in the rest. That just wouldn’t do. Got quite the scolding for my gall.Once we got our doughnuts, I was happy to eat them as I’m a big fan. As I said though, these are just average at best and slightly less on the worst. I can’t really recommend them, even if they’re in walking distance.

Once ordered a croissant sandwich here. Left with it and was already driving away when I realized the inside of the croissant was totally burnt, I mean pitch black. Had to go back and tell them and she just told me to just give her the half of the croissant that was burnt so she could replace it while i hold on to the rest of the sandwich. She seemed annoyed that we came back when she could clearly see the whole thing was black on one side and she had the nerve to serve it. There was no way anyone could miss it if they were putting the sandwich together.
