The food was good but both the tofu dishes were wrong.Tofu Mushroom with Chicken had no Tofu. Mushroom chicken is fine, but dont have tofu in the name of its not in the dish. Weird but considering the next dish, maybe I lucked out missing the tofu.Ma Po Tofu is not what I have seen before. It is some weird, red soup, not golden fried tofu. Maybe this is the real way. It is kinda boring if it is. Soup was very thin and had very little flavor. Mostly it just had a lot of spice. I like spicy, but if it is just hot without flavoring, it is boring. The tofu was completely uncooked and texturally adds nothing. I miss the fried version. This belongs in the Soup section of the menu.Egg rolls, chow mein, and the beef with string beans were all tasty.Not bad. Not amazing. Good, cheap Chinese food. Worth a try.

We ordered online for Grub Hub delivery on 3/19/2023 and got one of the orders wrong!! We ordered Peking spareribs and gave us sweet and sour spare ribs instead (tasted old). The egg rolls were soggy. The only decent item was wor won ton soup. Never ordering from this place. Their food is NOT good.

I havent been here for a few years and decided to try again.I was told told by owner it just changed ownership A few months ago.We ordered combo egg foo young.Very good taste and portion,Next peking style spare ribs good tasteBut very small portion.And last egg plant spicy garlic sauceGood taste but very weak portions.Very small portions carry out bag to light,Wont be back, still hungry, next up.

Friendly, businesslike, take pride in their service, generous portions, pay attention to detail. And both times I went there, the food was hot and tasty also. The cashier was organized and thoughtful . And she was grateful for my being a customer there. I recommend Lees Garden Restaurant on Thornton Street in San Leandro. They are north of Pelton Shopping Center, perhaps 4 blocks away.

I love these guys so much. They are so friendly. Food is maybe 4 stars, sometimes excellent sometimes just pretty good. We always order delivery and the guy acts like were family, I love it.

Was formerly hong Kong from strip mall near bayfairall. Moved and boy was I mistaken. The menu says lunch all day. ( But not today). Server had the nerve to overcharge me on #3 items. Wrote me a receipt In Chinese? Who does that. Told me that they have ONLY #2 SIZE CONTAINERS ONLY FOR TO-GO ITEMS. Says that the menus that are to-go are no good? ( even tho theres a stack of them at the counter ). When I questioned the prices on my orders was told it was a special order, and that the LINCH ITEMS TO GO HAVE A SMALLER SIZE CONTAINER? Feel ripped off in a sense. These people cannot or refuse to communicate. They just want your $$. Will never patronize again. The previous owner must have sold the business near bayfair mall and now these crooks are just screaming the title of their business. Be careful...

Ive ate there twice first time I didnt buy the food and it was great Second time I bought the food I was going to order pickup from ubereats $21.90 but didnt have enough so I used cash instead.Went to go pay and the order was 23.55. I feel like there pinching dollars.

Excellent combination/house special fried rice with chicken, beef, pork, and shrimp. Spicey and not salty and, by the way, very affordable in comparison to other Bay Area restaurants. This Chinese take-out is one of my guilty pleasures!

I came here because of the good reviews. Honestly I’m not sure if it was my bad luck but I had a bad experience. I called around 8:15 and the person answered really rude attitude saying “were closing in 10 min are you l sure You could make it” with a really bad tone . I advised him I’m literally 5 min away I could be there soon . I got there in 5 min, idk how they where able to cook my shrimp chow mien and beef fried rice in under 5 min?!? They literally had the food bagged up already . That’s pretty weird. When I got home the food was undercooked and it made me really sick . I’ve been throwing up all day . The chowmien felt like they just dumped a full bottle of soy sauce and thrown in the microwave .I told the person who answered the phone and took my money that Google shows they close at 9 PM not 8:30 PM . If they didn’t want to serve me they should have mentioned it on the phone instead of them serving undercooked food . Never going back .

Excellent Chinese food. We love ordering from Lee’s because the food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. They use quality ingredients like a fancier Chinese food restaurant that makes you want to order Chinese food, not just get Chinese food cause you don’t have energy to cook. Our standard order includes the cheese wontons and veggie chow Meir. We alternate getting sesame chicken and Mongolian beef which are excellent!

Another gem in the crown of San Leandro! I ordered fried prawns. Now let me tell you right off the bat, Im super picky how they are made. Never have I had a fried prawn made so right! Its only my second time there. They delivered to my door if I spent only 18.00! Dang! Thats awesome, so is the food. I highly recommend Lees Garden Chinese Restaurant! Come on down and get down!

My Mom regularly comes here and I was craving fried rice while visiting. It was yummy and satisfied my craving! The food wasnt greasy and they didnt skimp on the meat with good amounts of chicken, shrimp, and bbq pork. really enjoyed it and look forward to trying more things.

Food is very good. I’ve going there for years. Under new ownership but in the same family and same recipes. The online menu needs to be updated and prices corrected. The actual prices are double what the inline says. I will continue to go there, but customers need to be able to rely on accurate prices.

Excellent food. I order 5 different dishes. All the dishes were delicious. My 3yrs asked for seconds on the Vegetable Chow Mein. Definitely would recommend. They have good customer service and fast delivery.

They are consistently good. The salt and pepper chicken and salt and pepper fish are the bomb! Lightly coated with batter and never greasy. Mushu Pork is another favorite. Theyre always quick with our to go order. Cash only which is inconvenient sometimes.

My family and I, love this food. I’m very picky with food especially Chinese Food which is my favorite. My husband found this restaurant and I’m so glad. Lee’s Garden Chinese Food is sooooo good we always order chow mein, fried rice, and dry fry ribs. Anything we order taste delicious. Food is hot and delivered fast. We can’t stop eating from this restaurant. We love it!

The cuisine is Americanized Chinese food that is made fresh to order. I was the only one in the restaurant during lunch, but the chef was cooking non-stop, so I guess there were a lot of delivery and take-out orders. The food was good and reasonably priced. Cash only.

Ive been ordering from this restaurant since 2015 for my staff and my family tonight I ordered food and I was very unhappy . I dont understand the change but the quality of food has resulted in very low quality dry rice dry sauteed veggies how isthat possible?, less food smaller wings and presentation is not the same and horrible after taste. Best Chinese fast food in the East Bay. Dont come for ambiance because youll be gravely disappointed, but if yvamosou want good food at fair price this the spot! More importantly, you can get a rice plate any time of the day so you dont have to order excessive amounts of food. Only thing keeping it from getting for stars is they only take cash.

My wife and I have been coming to Lees Garden for more than two years. We come in regularly and alway enjoy our stay. The young couple who own and run the resturant work very hard.
