This is my favorite Soon Tofu place in Gardena. I have been going here for over 15 years now. My type pf comfort food.I think there may have been changes in the management/ownership. Food tastes the same, still delicious, and flavorful, but they are giving less and less side dishes.The food are still very good. Prices around $15-$20 before tax. Parking is available, but the plaza is kinda busy at meal time, just need to park farther back.

Update: The prices are too high now and the service is bad. Been there many times. The food is still good.Love this place. I always stop here if I’m in the area. Spicy pork and ribs are great. The side dishes are great: sea weed, pickled veggies, etc.

A lot of varieties on the menu. Soup was hot & spicy which I liked! They served white rice in a hot stone pot. I liked that the rice turned crispy at the bottom. Side dishes were good as well. Hot stone bibimbap was good too! Server came and checked on us often if we needed anything else and how we liked the food which was great. Only one thing that I didnt like was the seating. It was too tight and hard to move around.

It was so nice, I came back twice. And I got the same thing: Birria soon tofu. It comes with cilantro, chopped onion and lemon for brightness. If you like fusion food, I recommend that. The first time I came, I also got the seafood pancake. It was a generous size.So when you order your food, it comes with boiling hot, with a side of rice in the stone bowl and banchan. I loved everything.The staff here is so nice. The server saw that I ate all my kimchi and she brought me more.It feels like youre welcomed here, eating in the comfort of someones home.

Great food and service! Galbi and tofu soup combo is really nice to have. Rice was cooked in a stone bowl which was classic but the rice crisp might be too hard to get off the wall.

Amazing and within budget. the entire family will love it. Every soup comes with rice and all the delicious little sides. The combos are the best you can chose from a variety of Tofu soon soups combined with a meat dish and rice. Service is also great, fast and friendly. Love the egg dropped right into your soup after they bring it to your table.

First time here and it was delicious! Everything was fresh and flavorful! Service was slow. I think they need more servers for service so that we are not flagging down one for refills on everything. But their soon tofu is delicious as is the pickled sides.

Parking is a little busy if you go for dinner. Interior is decent and space is good. Staff is friendly and nice. Food is good. I ordered alot of dishes and everything was really good.

Omg… my favorite soon tofu restaurant in California. My wife always eats the intestine soup and it’s just perfect…. And I always order the seafood soup which is just as good. We come down from Culver city every month for this.

Took my sister here to hang out and we always love this spot, the quality of the side dishes is just as good as the main dishes. Their rock pot rice has amazing texture and is a great portion along with their soups. For what you get the price is reasonable and the service is impeccable. I got the mixed seafood sundubu and my sister got their galbitang. Highly recommend, just come a bit earlier than you plan because parking can be hard to find during dinner hours.

As always most delicious sides and tofu soup! Server Lady was excellent, so professional. I entered with my crying baby, she immediately bring some cookies to change her mood. I always have snags with me, but when different people gives (with your permission) always takes big attention of your baby 😊. Other then that again best food, we go here 7 years already. We changed so many living addresses but didn’t change our tofu restaurant 🤍

The food was so so good! Get the kalbi-tang. Each panchan (side dish) was delicious. My only complaint was the hostess wasnt happy that we requested the only open table that was 6 ft away from other diners. It sat 6 and my party was only 2. But she warmed up to us later during our meal.

First time here, service could have been better. I understand the staff are non-native speakers. However, their obvious bad attitude is apparent. I understand it’s close to closing time and we live in a very weird time amidst the pandemic. So we all are trying to live life under the new guidelines. I just wish they were more compassionate and friendly. Nonetheless, the food was good despite the prices being a little too expensive for its serving portions.

One of my favorite restaurants. The soon tofu is delicious, easy to eat and easy to digest. I usually finish my food and feel satisfied but not stuffed. The spice levels are accurately named, I think. Service is quick and professional. Usually not too crowded, but the whole shopping center gets packed on weekend evenings. They offer takeout, and even give you all the usual side dishes; its not quite the same as eating there, but still very good. Theres a small single bathroom in the back.

They have water base Soon Tofu. They have Veggie options. I love their veggie hot stone bimbimbob with no egg. Theyre dishes are served hot and you can choose your level of spice, it can be hot and spicy at the same time so be careful. I usually record my food cause its always boiling and sizzling, but Ill take a picture next time I go. They have sake! Enjoy!

I came into this place with an emptiness in my belly and I left this place with an empty heart empty belly and empty pockets. We ordered the Bimbibap with beef and also the assorted soon tofu soup with beef. And none of these items had beef. We were told that they were low on beef as it was later in the day. We were still charged full price and bad customer service. Go ahead and save yourself. Hit up Wooga down the street.

Galbitang (beef short rib soup) is Amazing! Includes Korean BBQ type side dishes.Used to get the amazing tofu, which always burned my tongue if I didnt wait at least 10 minutes for the boiling tofu to cool. But then found the Galbitang.Small place. Casual atmosphere. Friendly and good service that keeps the side dishes coming and water glasses full.

Lees is the bomb! Always consistently good whenever we go.Hey have 5 levels of spicy on their soon tofu. I usually get beef. They are also very generous on the side dishes, like the small bowl of Kim chi, Nori, and other Korean dishes.

I would have given this place 3 1/2 stars because of the food,however, the service left me feeling sour.The soup is great and so are the sides. It is fairly priced but the portions for the meat dishes are very expensive.If you are looking for a place to eat Korean soup, then it is fine...but here are the reasons i gave this place 2 stars. For reference, I have come to eat here 3 times.The service is not very good.I am multilingual and I have traveled to many places including Asia.The service here is not friendly to non-korean speakers and they often are not attentive. When I finished paying the woman returned to my table and wanted me to pay more tip.I ate alone and my price in total was around 11 ish dollars nearing 12.I was rubbed the wrong way for her believing that tip is mandatory, and that her service deserved more than what I had already given her.I also work a service job and I believe that it isnt a good way to behave with a customer.It hasnt been the first time I have went to a Korean establishment and have been frequently harrased to leave more tip. I believe in tipping well when it is deserved, not because of social obligation. I am still on the lookout for good Korean restaurants with friendly service and am willing to give lee soon tofu the benefit of the doubt and hope it isnt usually like this

Very disrespectful. The service is very lousy and upon payment, we provided our tip along with our total. The employees started to approach us in a rude manner demanding more tips and embarrassing my party in front of other customers. I used to eat here all the time. I received Assorted Sundubu! You could choose pork or beef, and it also included shellfish, shrimp, and oysters. You can choose the spiciness, and its really delicious! ︎It would be a bit of a waste to have too much rice, so it would be nice if you could tell me in advance to reduce the amount of rice. I thought. The side dish, bulgogi, is also delicious!

I dont like to leave comments because I have a restaurant but this surprised me because he went out to the street to ask for his tip. The tip is not mandatory if it is not the clients will.
