Inedible. I ordered the mango chicken and I could not eat it. It tasted like the color brown and then my tongue just burned. There’s no way this food was prepared today. The salad was limp and bleached of color. The Brussel sprouts had zero flavor. And the sauce was also tasteless. There were 4 tiny chunks of overcooked mango in the entire thing. I tasted zero mango otherwise.My friend had the ahi avocado poke bowl and there were 5 little chunks of ahi in the whole bowl. I made her stop eating it because with food this poor tasting I was worried about the safety of eating raw fish at such an establishment.Service was swift and helpful. The cashier made the bowls to order … meaning they were assembled from premade salads and put onto a plate.Super cute location but oh my gosh the food was truly nasty.

Ill give a solid B. The food and presentation were perfect, solid 5/5. I had the classic grilled cheese. Everything about it was perfect and right temperature.Now, the area where I draw my line from B to A territory, the order line is confusing. Yes, Im aware its a quick service. What is rather confusing, there is no start here sign or order here. You have plenty of great looking dishes along the sneeze guard, yet it just felt a little jumbled. There was also no one asking me what can I start with, may I help you or are you ready?Thirdly, I understand your concept and I enjoy it. Im not the GM, the owner or even the franchisee owner, so this opinion is meaningless. My two cents, I liked the lemonade, I enjoyed it. I know you want to be more on the health side, but, and I say but, if you add a soda fountain, youll have sales increase tremendously.Thank you for a great visit.

This is such a beautiful café located on the second floor with a nice patio overlooking the fountain. I really wanted to love it, but the spicy Hawaiian poke bowl I ordered did not impress. The tuna’s texture is off and doesn’t taste fresh…I’ve had way better tunas elsewhere. The blend of the poke bowl was good though, I just wish the quality is better and more customization options. Never really disappointed with Lemonade. Their selection of sides, bowls and sandwiches will assuredly please every palette (especially my kids). Their selection of fresh lemonades is truly the icing on the cake.This is not a knock on this place as we dont use a lot of salt when we prepare food at home. So when we eat at establishments that uses salt we pickup on it quickly. That being said, I got the spicy tuna bowl, my son got a turkey sandwich, my youngest daughter got the turkey BLT and my oldest daughter got red miso beef bowl. Watching them prepare the bowls made my mouth water. My wife got 3 sides, chicken meatball curry, cucumber avocado and tomato salad and broccoli sides.All of them were savory, fresh tasting and delicious. If youre feeling something light and fresh definitely hit this spot.

This place is awful. My friend and I went to this place for Lunch, I found a cockroach bug on your plate of food. It was a horrible experience. And I was very surprised that the waiter did nothing, she only offered to replace my plate of food and continued to pretend everything was fine . I should have taken more pictures and video . I will never go to this place again . It was a disgusting experience

I finally got the chance to try this place out and the staff was incredibly patient. I didnt quite understand at first how to order but one of the employees, Zach was so friendly!! He let me sample a bunch of the food and even gave me his recommendation. This place was nice but pricey.

Been going here for years and had been consistently good. That sure changed…..portions have been getting smaller and smaller. But now the bread on the sandwich tasted like it was 2 weeks old. It was bad enough I won’t be going back especially after telling the manager lady who gave some sort of bs excuse.

I just came here for their well known classic lemonade and it was pretty good, It has that fresh squeezed lemonade taste which tastes delicious on a perfect sunny day. I tried the guava limeade as well and that was great. Food looked fresh and savory so maybe Ill sit down and get to try that soon.

Very tasty! I had the green chili chicken with red rice, side of mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. All tasted delicious! The mac and cheese was a little greasy and heavy, I couldnt eat it all. Good serving sizes but it was very expensive for a cafetería style lunch. $22 with lemonade (lavender was yummy) I guess its expected since its Newport Beach, Fashion Island!

Wow what amazing food. The classic grilled cheese is legendary. Mac N cheese was tasty. Steak was flavorful and tender with very complimentary chimmichurri sauce. Tried the dragon fruit lemonade and was blown away! My biggest complaint and only complaint, was the wooden cutlery. The spoon and the knife were absolutely useless. I will probably stick to sandwiches the next time I come until they fix the wooden cutlery issue.

The truffle Mac n cheese here was to die for! I also had the cauliflower and green beans and chicken salad and they were all very flavorful also. It has a kick of spice if you’re not used to it, but I loved it. Their outdoor seating area is nice also.I also tried the blood orange lemonade and it reminded me of a mix of grapefruit and orange. A little tangy, sweet and refreshing. Would definitely come back!

I found the food OK, not very impressive. Its expensive in my opinion, because the portions are small and most items are cold. The warm food are kept in slow cookers -- this means everything is precooked but the price they charge youd think every serving is made individually. Service is slow. The upside of this place is you get to see what your food look like before you order. You can even ask for a sample. A meal with four items can easily cost $20+.

I love Lemonade at Fashion Island. They have kept the quality of the food up despite Covid struggles and have no increased the cost or volume of the food being packaged to go. They also have not limited the menu. The flavor was everything I needed and I grabbed a few extra sides to go to eat as a midnight study snack without needing spend time to prep it.

Delicious food and a ton of variety in what you can get. I had the pre set now and it was great, so great that I went back to try more of the options they have. The salads are really good and fresh and the hot options were also pretty good.The lemonade is also really good. I tried the blood orange lemonade and it was perfect.

Disgusting place very rude, customer service is absolutely horrendous went their for dinner the guy turned the music off and lights while me and my friend were still eating and sarcastically said “wonder why the music shut off” “wonder why the lights are off” skinny guy brunette with tattoos really hope he gets fired it was just unpleasant the food was horrible. Made me never want to one go back and to tell people to not eat their as well.

Really more like 2.5 stars. All salads but one have dressing in them already. The one salad that doesnt is considered a large salad. Brisket and mashed potatoes were both tasty. Chicken pot pie was stale and lacked flavor. The chilli was a little better but not great. The chicken salad was good but had too much dressing. Italian salad suffered from the same problem though the dressing wasnt as good. The broccoli was overcooked and soggy. Blood orange lemonade was a highlight. Not sure why all the positive reviews. Came late, an hour before closing. Maybe their food is made earlier in the day and tastes better then. Who knows. Its worth a try if youre a local whos had all the old food options at the mall and looking for a change. But if you dont come to Fashion Island very often theres better choices available.

The food!!!! So good. Creative and originals flavors. You wouldnt know youre putting healthy things in your body. Oh - and the service: so helpful, cheerful, and ready to recommend. My wife accidentally spilled her drink on the way outside and they replaced it, gratis. Easy 5 stars here.

Unfortunately this lemonade is Hit or Miss. While I love the Texas BBQ Beef Brisket Bowl which is nice hearty chunks of Texas BBQ Beef Brisket layered on top of macaroni and cheese with Collard steamed greens although I dont think there are mustard greens or collard greens I think they are just a more robust leafy version spinach and butternut squash cubes, it was a hit when the butternut squash cubes were served warm and then the entire dish was warm and it was an absolute disaster when they decided to put cold butternut squash cubes on top of my BBQ Beef Brisket and warm mac and cheese. Could someone please explain to me why someone will put a cold vegetable in a bowl on top of all of the rest of it being hot food in particular when its a vegetable thats always served warm. Ive almost never had cold butternut squash, sure theres that occasional salad but bear in mind this was an actual BBQ Beef Brisket ball. That being said they have excellent mint lemonade and horrible blueberry juice. Their newest drink is a mix of the two, I highly advise against mixing the blueberry juice with lemonade.

Rating is low due to major delay in delivery of food (20+ minutes for a caprese sandwich). Food quality is very good, but the servers need to know the menu before they help customers. Manager was very helpful while we were in line, not so much when food didnt show. The one person who saved our visit was Huy (he was on break and observed the situation). His initiative to visit us twice to check on the food quality and apologize for the slow service is the only reason for us to comeback. He should he promoted! Thank you, Huy.

Its near Native Foods cafe. Plenty of seating and there was still plenty of traffic despite that fact that I went with a friend at 8PM and they close at 9PM. The line can be long but that is if you wait in it. The way this works is if you get to your station and dont want the next item, you can skip ahead, you dont need to wait for others in front of you at a station where you dont want to get anything (i.e. we skipped half the station in front of us that was being occupied by a family who didnt know what the heck they wanted and spent way too much time talking about random nonsense, ugh, the ilk of fashion island)Would I come back? maybe.
