Four of us ordered lunch. Lots of healthy choices. I opted for the Avo Toast because I wasn’t too hungry. It was good and the perfect size, but needed a little more spice. Everyone else enjoyed their bowls. The restaurant is clean and bright with plenty of seating, and there’s metered parking in the back if you can’t find street parking.

I had the ahi tuna with sushi rice and tomatoes and avocado. It was very tasty. The blood orange lemonade was really great.The place seemed clean although my wife stated that there was trash left on the changing table in one of the toilets and there was no changing table in another toilet. In addition to the fact you had to enter a code every time you wanted to go in this was rather frustrating.

I ordered an avocado toast and pineapple mango lemonade.The avocado toast was overpriced. When I bit into the toast there was a solid chunk of cold avocado. Very disappointed. The lemonade was good. Just a little bit too sweet. Update: raised my review slightly due to good customer service.

Pretty cute little deli-like cafeteria style shop with unique lemonades. I didn’t try the food (which is said to be excellent), but had a cucumber mint lemonade. It was very sweet so after I drank some I added water to it and it was good. Only came in one size— 20 oz— which seems very large and I couldn’t finish it all. It was tasty but I would like to try something not as sweet next time!

Excellent food and service. Quality was great! The poke bowl really good. The variety and exclusive salads is perfect. There are different kind of lemonade that you can try. My family loves it. I strongly recommend it.

Great food. Had the Masala Mushroom Banh Mi and it was delicious. The different burst of flavors were outstanding. Love this location and service while in Venice. The salad was great as well as the options for drinks.

Cute place in Venice. Clean and spacious inside. The staff was friendly and explained how the menu works. Lots of yummy choices, somewhat pricey for a plate. Parking is free next door for one hour with validation.

Lemonade is always an amazing choice for quick, delicious, healthy food! They have fantastic salads and hot food items as well. Curried cauliflower, avocado tomato salad, and truffle Mac n cheese are some of my favorite items. The gluten free, vegan s’mores brownie is FANTASTIC. Tons of vegetarian options! I definitrly recommend pairing your meal with their delicious Lemonade as well :)

I had the Salmon Poke Bowl and it was so fresh and delicious!! Loved all the toppings and ginger on top. Staff was so friendly and gave us lemonade samples to try since there were so many! Cucumber mint and lavender elderflower were two of our favorites. Definitely will be back!

Delicious food and unique drinks! The staff are very sweet and kind. I hadn’t realized one time that I had come so close to closing and they still served us drinks with a smile and kind attitude. The fact that I didn’t even notice is amazing. I’m very grateful and sorry for coming in so late! Thank you for amazing drinks for my partner and I. We really appreciate your hospitality. 🫶🏼❤️

Great place to grab some fast yet healthy food. On the counter various containers invite you for delicious and fresh looking salads, veggies, and more. I got the Ahi Tuna Bowl: ahi tuna, avocado, seaweed, ginger avocado. It was yummy, but overwhelmingly topped with ginger. Advertised avocado came in a generous portion of 1x2 inches :-(. The giant chocolate chip cookie was chocolaty and good, but nothing extraordinary. The name lemonade did not add to quality of lemonade available, although exciting flavors, they all are made from concentrate and not actual fruit. Another bummer is that this apparently health conscious chain is not so environmental conscious. They serve food in plastic containers and utensils. Their recycle can apart from the landfill trash is not an ideal solution. Location is great, but parking scarce and expensive unless you park in the neighborhood and walk a little.

I have been going to this place for years before we moved away from Venice. .. It was always super fresh & really good. Its been a while since my family & i have been there, so we decided it was time to go back & enjoy. Wow... we were bummed on it.! The salmon was super fishy, the Brussel sprouts were waay over cooked & dry, even the mash potatoes had some wierd crust onem, the Cucumber mint lemonade tasted like they havent cleaned the dispenser since it was purchased. & for $111.58, we were highly bummed. The staff just wanted to finish their shift. There was no love in the comfort food we once knew.

We enjoyed our drinks after a long walk from Venice beach in this hot blazing summer. I love how refreshing the drink was with lemonade and pomegranate in it. My girlfriend got a cucumber lemonade drink. We loved our drinks. The custom service was great as well! No line. Very fast!

First time trying Lemonade, LOVED IT! I got the Turkey BLT with mashed potatoes, its was delicious! Also got the seasalt brownie for dessert which was very rich in chocolate and a perfect way to end my meal. All of this was accompanied with the lavender lemonade which was so good I ordered a second one to go. Strongly recommend! Also, they are only a 15min walk from Venice Beach and Venice Canals. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town!

Amazing food, friendly folks, delicious vegetarian options! My 17 yr old daughter and I walked in for an early dinner aver a day at Venice Beach. We didnt want heavy, greasy boardwalk food. A quick Google search showed us this place a nice little walk away. We got there in about 15 mins and were instantly beyond happy wed chosen this place. Its a cafeteria style, incredibly fresh food cafe. You must try the signature lemonade! Absolutely delicious!

I went into this place with my mom and sister. I got in line to order and my mom went to look for somewhere to sit. As soon as my mom went in the side seating area to look for a table, the man who was working very rudely said that the restrooms are only for customers. I calmly explained that my mom was just looking for a place to sit and that we were going to buy food and drinks. Despite this, the worker continued to disrespectfully tell my mom that the seating area is only for customers. Reminder: we ARE customers. We were in line to buy things. We were treated as if we were an inconvenience. Additionally, it was extremely hot inside, but that’s besides the point. We left before buying anything with no plans of coming back.

Went an hour before closing and half of the selections were gone. They were already getting ready to close an entire hour before the time listed. Staff seamed annoyed a customer was there wanting to order something. Really disappointed in the management of this location. I prefer the one in Larchmont Village less attitude and more selection… even an hour before they close. A suggestion to whoever it is that runs this chain, if you’re going to stay open until a certain time you must serve until a certain time and your employees must behave accordingly. Not returning they lost my business. Delicious food but for the amount of money they charge for their food items, no way I’m putting up with this lack of customer service. Food is worth it and I’m willing to pay but Im not forcing anyone to take my money, they obviously don’t need it. They also have terrible parking at this location.

Visited California for the first time today and I wanted to try somewhere good near Venice Beach. I must say, the Yelp reviews were right. The food here is amazing! Got the Roasted Chicken sandwich - the San Diego way. Very unique in flavor. The jicama slaw tastes similar to apple; it paired very well with the chicken and jalapeño aioli. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. Got the avocado tomato salad which was refreshing. The lemonade is delicious too. The prices here are amazing! I left highly satisfied!

Looks like maintenance is not a priority there, but most importantly customer service is extremely poor. I came to pick up a delivery for two clients and the only person in the store made clear she wouldnt help me until the line of clients get empty. So I waited for 15 minutes but other clients kept entering the store and she kept ignoring me.

It made me upset that the manager or cashier person lied to me about my food. I always order a Tijuana sandwich which I know exactly what it has and she didnt bother telling me they didnt have jalapeños instead she said it was taken off the menu and hasnt been that way for the past 2 weeks 😒 like really couldnt you just say you ran out or forgot to put it in.

Poor customer service!Just ordered here with my wife and 1.5 yo daughter. My wife ordered salmon for the baby but the salmon was given to us cold. We asked if they could heat it up for her and we were told “no that’s the way it is, it comes cold.” Wow what great customer service, NOT!How hard is it to put a pice of fish in the microwave that I see sitting on the counter for a few seconds to warm it up for a baby?!Poor customer service!

Just ordered take out from here. My husband and son had the poke bowl which was good. My daughter had the protein plate with chicken and the chicken was barely edible. My son and I got the miso beef bowl - the beef was so drenched in the miso marinade that it was not edible. I forced myself to eat some of it and my mouth began to get sore from way too much salt - miso beef was terrible. Vegetables were boring and cold. I like the concept of this place, so will try again, but as for now I am super underwhelmed.

I would not go here again. The service was really horrible. In addition, the food was all luke warm. In other words, what was supposed to be hot (mac and cheese) was barely warm. What was supposed to be cold (cold salad) was room temp. It just was not good. Details: I went to the Abbot Kinney location. When the bill came up 54.00 I asked the person behind the counter (Manny) if the cost was right. He proceeded to tell me that I had been charged correctly and it was extra because of what I had ordered. I questioned him and he interrupted me to say that it was all on the sign where I had ordered and that they were not under any obligation to tell me when I was ordering what was extra. Unfortunately, the cash register screen didn’t work so the only way to check to see what I was charged was to get a receipt which means closing out the order. When I got the receipt it was clear that I had been overcharged by an entire meal. I asked for a refund. At that point, Manny informed me that I could not get a refund until the manager came back. He said he didn’t know when she’d be back and that I would just have to wait. I asked if he knew when she would be back. At first he said, no. Then, he said less than 30 minutes. I asked if he knew or not and he said no that he didnt, but it wasnt longer than 30 minutes. He was very condescending and dismissive again and again. He never apologized for the mistake or said that it would be taken care of. We waited until after we were done eating and the manager arrived and refunded the money immediately. It was an outrageous experience. AND the food is just ok. I won’t go here again.

My first Lemonade experience, and the bars been set pretty high. I got the green chile chicken bowl with red rice and cotjia cheese plus the mint cucumber lemonade. Definitely on the pricey side, but the portion was quite generous and all the components tasted fresh. Chicken was extremely tender. Beverage was refreshing without tasting artificial. Service was fast and friendly. Tree-shaded outdoor seating area right at the corner of Abbot Kinney/Venice is also a big draw.

We stopped in to get a drink, but there was a line and I needed to use the restroom first, pretty badly. The bathroom is locked like most places around so I went to the lady taking food orders. Even though she was right in front of me, it took me at least 3 tries to get her attention like she was determined to not acknowledge me. Asked for the code and was told customers only. I explained that we have every intention of being customers but need the restroom first. She acted like I insulted her and angrily told me I have to buy something first. The employees and manager openly mistreat clients - for instance, I was rudely prevented from using the restroom to wash my hands before ordering food.The food became bureaucratic with the years. Gone are the innovative salads and grilled fare: all that remains are a few best-sellers of yore and some ugly, poorly made warm beef and fish.Adding insult to injury, the next-door validated parking is no longer so, costing me an extra few bucks.That was my last call - Im not coming back there.

BEST lemonade flavours I’ve ever tried! Absolutely love them! The eatery has a wide variety of tasty meal choices which are very affordable, particularly considering it’s Abbot Kinney Blvd! They’re giant macaroons are the biggest I’ve ever seen and delicious!Cafeteria style serving which is trendy, however can at times tie up the speed of the service, but that doesn’t take away from the quality of the food (I would still return despite this). When the friendly servers realised there was a bit if confusion with an order we were offered free lemonades and/or desserts which was a nice touch!Love the colour scheme and aesthetics - will definitely return! Highly recommended.

One of the early build your plate fast-casual healthy food restaurants that came out before everyone had one. The food is very fresh very clean very healthy. Getting through the line is generally super-efficient unless you get stuck behind the person that has questions for days when things seem a bit obvious.

Last night was my first time there, and the staff was more than kind enough to walk me through the process of ordering my food (the place is set up cafeteria-style). We stopped in because of the sign out front. My son wanted to try the honey carrots and couscous that was pictured on the sign. It looked so good that I stole a bite (or four). REALLY GOOD. This place is horrible and the manager is a condescending bully! Threatening to call police for someone taking too long to use the restroom?!? Im sorry but whatttt? Like that is just bizarre. Then when she tries to explain the reasoning behind her being in the restroom 20 mins... with a newborn mind you...you raise your voice and threaten to call police and dont even give her a chance to speak?!? You should really get some proper training and learn how to deal with the public. Not everyone is going to be as calm and collective when you speak to them in that manner. Some day you will find the RIGHT ONE and things may turn out different.

Love, love, love this place! Cafeteria style funky foods. I usually get 2 or 3 portions of the cold salads and I am always more than stuffed. Also- make sure to try their truffle mac and cheese because it is AMAZING but super super heavy so I hardly ever do more than just a taste. Cucumber mint and blueberry mint lemonades are my favorites. If you like lemonade less sweet ask them to do half flavor and half unsweetened regular lemonade.

Spent a couple of thousand dollars for my students and me over the years, as we went all the time, particularly to this one on Abbott Kinney. Went with my nephew from Germany last Thursday. We both needed to see the bathroom. Urgently. Offered to leave my credit card and buy our lunch - so urgent it was. I came into the Restaurant intending to purchase after I got out of the restroom the lady called the cops on me and harassed me and my baby for using her restroom called the cops on me! Environment: So-so. Brightly lit, bustling with people and activity, often crowded with family, tourists and such, who can sometimes be messy. This is the only negtive. Venice can be a bit rough around the edges, but Lemonade provides a nice stop for a healthy meal with many different options.Service: The cooks and staff behind the counter are eager to help you select your meal. You have a one hour limit, or longer with validation, but if you dont have validation you are talking about $10 for parking. The restaurant is also very expensive. The drinks are about $2.99 for a cup and the food is individually served and priced so you can make your own plate, but it comes to over $10 for a decent sized portion of food.

I let him know that I thought it was unfortunate that they don’t offer a full menu to all guests during business hours and took my business elsewhere. I’ve been in the game and I can play the game but I have a little more tact. Being Lemonade is corporate I reached out to their regional manager, no names mentioned, kept it simple and suggested an edit to the hours posted here verses there. There was never a follow up on their part, I don’t want an apology or anything for free...I just wanted to let them know my experience to help better others’. My other portion was the pasta orecchiette with red sauce and mozzarella. It wasnt too heavy and overwhelming but rather light and refreshing. Next up was a colorful dish of chicken breast, oregano, almond slivers, and grapes. Sounds crazy but the combination really works. I completed my lunch portion with the creamy dill potatoes and also tried some of Jeff Fs sweet potato with pistachio which I also thought was an interesting blend of flavors.This was definitely a filling meal and hard to finish. I was full after a few bites. As for the lemonade, I tried their cucumber mint. Its a little tart but very refreshing. You cant really taste the cucumber. This is a glorified soup, salad, and sandwich place. There’s no other of it’s kind. Gourmet, quality, flavorful and dynamic healthy fast food. They offer several vegetable side salads that are colorful, nutrient rich and in wonderfully dynamic ingredient combinations. Some of my favorites are: Curried cauliflower that has toasted almonds and raisins, arugula salad with feta and figs, butternut squash tossed in a southwest vinaigrette with corn nuts and fresh corn. They then offer land a sea items which are their seafood ad meet classic items such as seared ahi tuna, salmon salad in an avocado half, curried chicken salad, or buttermilk chicken cutlet. Then they offer various slow cooked braises, stews, and chilis that are all WONDERFUL. Some of these include chicken chili, miso short ribs, chicken meatballs, jerk chicken stew. They also offer sandwiches, and mac n cheese. Before you get to the register you’ll be bombarded with a display case of beautiful and tantalizing sugary treats: cupcakes, cake slices, cookies, macarons, and brownies. You will not be disappointed. Their not named Lemonade for nothing—they of course specialize in lemonades. Their all made with fresh juices and herbs and are incredibly refreshing. My favorites are Blueberry mint, watermelon rosemary, and cucumber lemonades. This place is one of the best things to happen to Los Angeles’ casual and fast dining scene.
