2023-11-22 01:55:15Finally had the chance to try this sandwich spot located in downtown Millbrae. I walked up to the counter and was greeted quickly. One of the employees asked what would like so I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bagel bun. The place is well-organized and has a wide selection of different sandwiches to choose from. The sandwich was delicious and I would come back again.

2023-10-23 11:03:35My father is a regular and he brought me to this excellent sandwich Deli while I visited San Francisco. I ordered one of the Premium Hot sandwiches and it was very good. The bread was so fresh and the fillings were very generous and great value. I highly recommend this place for Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch. The staff were very friendly, hard working and it was excellent service. I went back again cause it was so good. Highly recommened.

2023-02-06 23:56:12I ordered the Warrior, which has Roasted turkey, cranberry, and Monterey jack cheese on a Ciabatta roll. My friend ordered a Turkey sandwich on a sourdough roll. Both were delicious. Highly recommend.

2023-07-01 22:57:40Got lunch here at the tail end of their lunch rush this past Friday. I saw that they were busy but I had gotten my order for a Raider sandwich before another rush of customers. Unfortunately, the folks behind the counter made at least four other customers’ sandwiches before mine, so I was stuck waiting for a bit. I asked for ETA on my sandwich and was met by rudeness and excuses that they were busy, and the owner telling his employees to make my sandwich because I was “unhappy”. Yes, I was getting hangry and needed my food but didn’t need the condescension. Owner’s son was apologetic enough but didn’t make up for the rudeness of the owner. I was trying to support a local business but not with this attitude. A simple “sorry, your food’s coming right up” would’ve been good. Sandwich wasn’t bad but I don’t think I will be returning.

2023-07-18 06:31:13Walking in Leonardos feels like walking back in time. They have fresh soup of the day on a counter and on a typical morning I see folks get an espresso and people watch. Theres Sinatra playing which mixed with the smell of the soup and sandwiches being made just puts a smile on my face. The sandwiches are highly customizable but I tend to stick with the menu board staples because theres something for every mood & if it aint broke why mess with it?

2022-01-28 19:04:57Im embarrassed to admit that I lived in Millbrae for 23 years and had never had Leonardos until now, after having moved out of state. This place is AMAZING! I ordered the Raider on sourdough and not only are the sandwiches massive, but they are so flavorful. I usually find pesto to be somewhat bland but with this sandwich, your mouth is assaulted by garlic and Im so here for it. Delicious! This place is now an absolute staple for me whenever I come back to visit.

2022-02-10 06:22:08I had the Shaddy Daddy (chicken pesto sandwich) on dutch crunch, which was pretty good. Mac salad was good as well. Friendly folks behind the counter and plenty of tables for dining in or outside.

2020-11-06 19:05:14Walking in to this store is already an experience! this amazing smell of fresh cooked food from the back of the store, a bunch of old men laughing and chatting each on his on table with a coffee in their hand, Frank Sinatra over the speakers and the “Sir, what I can get you” with an italian accent spoken. I love it.
