We visited this place for lunch. The place was fairly empty. The restaurant looked very simple ambiance wise, the seating was in fact a bit torn out.We ordered the shrimp dumplings which were fried, we didnt like it much.Then we ordered combo chowmein with chicken and shrimp, there were like 3 shrimps in the dish, the sauce was not also not enough in the fried version.The chicken banh mi was the only saver in my opinion. Also, the mango smoothie was good. Service is okay.
I had the chicken broth and tofu/veggie pho. That is unusual for a place to have. I usually have to ask for that special. I also got the crab egg rolls. They were excellent. I did like the food, but it was expensive.
Very disappointing. So many reviews about gluten-free menu, gluten-free options, etc. but not true! Staff seems unsure which is always are big red flag. One server says one thing, another something else. Ended up just going with Pho again. BTW, at least the Pho was quite good.
Ordered the beef pho with meatballs, and it was great. Spring rolls for appetizers are good too.
Beef Stew Noodle Soup lover here! The soup isn’t as flavorful as it should be, it should be rich. If you are a clean eater and don’t care as much for the taste then go ahead. I also got the spring rolls and they were very delicious, it’s not something you can ever mess up on. I also got a Bahn Mi and the meat ended up being raw still. Fremont, Milpitas & San Jose has the best Vietnamese food you’ll ever taste. Some suggestions I have would be Pho 99 (Fremont) & Pho Mai #1 Noodle House (San Jose). The restaurants listed will NEVER disappoint you.
Definitely on my best Vietnamese restaurant list! The environment provides great mealtime atmosphere and comfortable seats. I love the beef pho so much! The soup was tenderly mixed with beef flavor and onions. I also impressed by the beef and chick clay pot, the meat and source has a amazing combination with chewy rice! ( Ive ordered it twice.) overall, 5-stars with no doubt.
When you got that Pho craving, you gotta address that Pho craving!!!! LeQuy happens to serve some amazing Pho soup along with fantastic spring and vegetable egg rolls. Its a nice cozy spot located in Campbell that is probably one of the best places that we have been to, for our Pho cravings.Clean and very well maintained along with ample social distancing make it for a perfect dinner spot during pandemic times.Some good old vegetable soup is what i had while my wife got the Eye round steak noodle soup. We always ask for more and more of sprouts and basil. Add that plum sauce to the bowl and the next sip of the soup is pure bliss.Would definitely recommend this spot for any and everything Pho.Would love to go back there soon!!!
Stopped in today with pops.My 1st impression of the outside was it looks a little run down 2 stars. When I walked in I was pleasantly surprised. The color combo of the interior was actually soothing to me. 4 stars.The waitress was very nice and one of the employees actually opened the door for pops 5.99 stars.I ordered my go to drink cà phè sùa noung (I think thats how its spelled) basically the hot version of the coffee with sweetened condensed milk. I like mine 212° HOT! Just a personal preference. This one was just reg hot. The favor of the coffee was a little lite for my taste but they nailed the the sweetness 3.5 stars.I ordered the pork vermicelli Bowl and added egg rolls and asked for extra fish sauce. Over all it was a solid 3.5 stars.Price point 3 stars. ( comparing to other Vietnamese phò)Variety of food seemed geared more twards Americans then the traditional.The inside seems well kept and clean.Overall I give them a solid 3.5 they get the extra .5 for there service total 4 stars.
While the food is good and its close to my house the wait staff was a little understaffed... And I only ordered pho which was much more than I pay elsewhere, but it was good! And they had salted plum soda that I love! Would definitely return!
If you looking for something beyond a regular Pho joint, look no further. This place offer variety of food beside Pho - fried rice, chow mein, stir fired dishes, rice plates, and of course Pho. Staff is super friendly and feels like a good family run restaurant. Price is a bit steep for an order of Spring roll cost $8.95.
Got take out from here during covid, tried to pick things that might travel well. We got the following:Shrimp and crab spring roll (app) - I give this 2/5 stars and wouldnt get again. The outside is very crispy and fried well but it doesnt taste anything like crab or shrimp. The inside looks like a regular egg roll, and has vermicelli. Also for the price you would hope its a little more special.Combination special dry noodle - this is a dry noodle with sauce and you have the option of getting a broth with it. You also get options on what type of carb you want. We did the clear noodles, it was the cellophane kind, spot on for chewiness/al dente. The original sauce it comes with is like a light soy with ground meat and chopped shiitake. The broth on the side is almost like a tom yum (sweet and sour) and comes with the usual toppings of basil, jalapenos, and bean sprouts. You get 4 calamari rings, 1 shrimp, 2 crab claws, and slices of pork. The pork is quite tasty. Slightly pricey but overall 5/5 would get again.BBQ pork vermicelli - usual standard fare, 5/5. Lettuce was fresh, flavor was good, and quantity was decent. Would get again.
I went there for an early lunch. I ordered 28A clay pot with BBQ pork and shrimp. Unfortunately, the clay pot wasnt hot when it was brought to my table. It was disappointing! It could have been very delicious if they use a lot less salt. Everything except the salad was way too salty for me. Staff were emotionless and not friendly. The restaurant was clean and nice though.

This place charges an extra $1.55 per item for takeout and doesnt disclose the fee. Its cheaper to do a pick-up order online, which is very confusing. Im very disappointed in how this restaurant adds hidden fees.
Decent bun bo hue, pho, and bun thit nuong. Clean interior and friendly staff. Good enough to satisfy our hunger, but probably not enough to bring us back again with so many good options in the bay area...

Came here on a Tuesday night before watching a movie at the AMC! The place was not crowded at all and there was no wait at 7 pm.Food: This is a really standard Vietnamese noodle place and I got the combination pho! The pho was tasty and had huge portions, I couldn’t finish and the noodles were plentiful and chewy. I would have preferred more meat.Service: Food came in 15 minutes or so and the waiters don’t come by too often to check in.Ambiance: Hyper casual, diner vibes.Overall a very easy in and out experience with a chill vibe!
I ordered some spring roll, the one with shrimp and a side of peanut sauce. I found there was a finger nail somewhere in the roll or peanut sauce. Dont know which but becareful you might get some human in your dish.
This is one of my favorite Pho places, the soup base is very tasty and meats are fresh. It also has many other dishes that are quite good.
Average pho - wasnt really impressed at all. Service was decent, but one of the waitresses seemed like she really didnt want to be there at all.
Had the No.#33 Combination Beef Pho. Not too bad. Was only disappointed by not having a hot green tea I ordered. Then almost get charged for it.

Better pho places out there. It took about 10mins after seating us for anyone to take our order, even for water. The quality of the food was average, especially for the prices. The cleanliness of the restaurant was not clean, putting it plainly. If Im going to get pho, Im just going to go somewhere else.

Came in for takeout as my regular spot was closed. The staff was chill, and the place was decorated nicely (I love all the plants) but the price point for the food you get was really disappointing. Got the BBQ pork banh mi, steak and flank pho, and egg rolls. Both the banh mi and pho broth was oddly too sweet, and the broth felt like it was missing star anise or cardamom. The egg rolls were nice but for 12 bucks for *three* small (4 inch long) egg rolls, the price is extremely steep. They also were served with sweet chili sauce instead of nuoc cham- so more sweet stuff.I get the price of food and everything is going up, but this is a huge reach for what you get. I dropped about $54 + $10 tip for my food, and I dont even want to finish eating it. Dont think Ill come back for these prices, when I can get larger and cheaper and arguably tastier food at other spots.

Great food! This restaurant is definitely very popular with the locals. The atmosphere feels like a diner, and the food came very fast. I got mixed seafood noodle dish, which came w a side of broth. The waiter mentioned that their pad Thai was also a good choice, so Id definitely recommend that as well.
Pho w/ chicken breast - fresh and tasty! Enjoyed it followed by Viet iced coffee. Service was prompt and friendly. No MSG.

The avocado rice paper rolls were fabulous. I thought the soup was ok but not as flavorful as I’ve had at other places.My big disappointment was that they advertise outdoor seating. When we got there and asked to be seated outside we were taken to a table inside, we were the only ones in the restaurant so we stayed.
While the food was delicious and the service was nice they advertise dishes as gluten-free that are not because they have soy sauce in them. The restaurant was unaware that soy sauce it has gluten. My poor friend got sick after they finally let us know there was in fact soy sauce in the dish after initially denying it. They comped our meal, so I appreciate that. But I’m unsure if they are going to change their menu to correctly identify meals with gluten in them.
Average Pho, portion is good but with $16 a bowl the meat portion is consider very little.

Veggie pho and seafood pho are my absolute FAVORITES! The broth is warm, welcoming and always wonderful! The staff have always been phenomenal too! We go at least once a week :-)
LeQuy is my absolute favorite pho spot. I usually get the 34 and get the round eye beef on the side so i can dip it in the soup. They have lots of other options for food too. The employees are so nice and i love The restaurant. Its the best!
So I went to this restaurant this afternoon, I got beef Pho 🍲, and my girlfriend got Veggie Tofu Pho. Both broths are wonderful. It’s totally no MSG as they guarantee caused my girlfriend is allergy to, and she has not found any problem after we had a meal. ==> good food check.Service here is other really good side, staffs are so nice and friendly ==> Great service check.The atmosphere is so nice and calm, it was not too loud nor quiet ==> nice atmosphere check.We loved this place and will definitely go there again soon.
Love this neighborhood Pho place, family owned business who really take care and whole-heartedly serve their customers. My 10 year old needs more than one plate every time we visit, devouring it every single time. Their vegetarian broth (pho) is so flavorful, I can finish an entire giant bowl in one go. Same goes for all other phos they serve!
This place is truly a hidden gem. Weve been there a few times and always get surprised by quality of food and service. The vegan spring rolls are to die for! In our last dinner we had so many different appetizers and main courses and all were very fresh, well prepared and presented and delicious. All types of fish they serve is wild caught and if any seafood is not wild caught it will be from sustainable sources, and also the green salad was organic. Amazing service, quick and courteous. all prices are super reasonable too. If this place was located in downtown Los Gatos prices would easily be quadrupled! We love this place
One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. The spicy chicken pho was really delicious (and pretty spicy too). The portion size is generous and lasted me for 2 meals. I have also tried the pork rice plate which also very flavorful. The service is very friendly and quick. Looking forward to going back again and trying other dishes as well.
Im not a huge pho fan, but my daughter says theirs is the best, so I will have to go with her word. Other plus, their menu is gluten free so if thats a consideration...I had the chicken bbq rice, which was fine. Flavorful but nothing unique.Servers all seemed very friendly.
They have a variety of dishes which are all so good. The one in the photo is the dry noodle with seafood. I also love their grilled chicken vermicelli, chicken wings and their sea bass pho. They also have the friendliest staff!
I’m a big fan of LeQuy!I’m picky. I’m picky about flavor, I’m picky about ingredients, I’m picky about the staff, I’m picky. LeQuy checks all the boxes. High-quality ingredients, great variety, great flavor and the staff are the best! I accidentally left my wallet there and didn’t notice it... for a day… my bad. The owner of the restaurant actually drove my wallet out to my house before I even realized it was missing! There was no phone number inside so he found my address on my license and drove it out! Who does that?!! So as I was saying, the staff are the best. It’s a great restaurant and if you’re looking for perfect Vietnamese food with good people absolutely go there.
This place is perfect for families. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful and made dining with a wiggly 1 1/2 year old a very pleasant experience. The food was delicious and the price is decent. They have high chairs, fast service, and delicious food. Everything tasted very fresh.
I have to say, this place is pretty nice. Very clean inside, very friendly staff and the food is most excellent. The Pho Soup is Not full of msg, so you can add your own seasonings or sauces to your own personal taste. Price is fair and the waiters and waitresss have humor when needed making everyone feel welcomed. I have a feeling this restaurant is here to stay awhile. Enjoy it while you can.
Restaurant was not clean and had a mildew smell. Utensils were dirty and the table was sticky (gross). Wait staff was polite but inattentive. They essentially ignored me when I walked in. The food was not good. I ordered Pho Ga. The chicken taste old, broth bland, noodles were overcooked. Food was cheap and I know why.
Hung, the owner, is almost always there making sure everyone is handling their duties. The young waitresses are sweet and efficient, and you are greeted like family.What I genuinely appreciate is that Le Que uses no MSG, serve brown rice and egg noodles for the health conscious.Lots o parking, easy to get to and very reasonably priced for the quality of the food you get.
I had the ubiquitous combination pho. Somehow I felt that the soup flavor was a bit off compared to Kim Long and house of pho. I understand that every restaurant do things a little differently, but I guess I just prefer the others better.Service was GREAT! Everyone was extremely friendly and courteous.
When I went there with my friend, they put us at the table next to the big window which was nice. It was a sunny day and we could see plants, streets and people passing peacefully through the window. There were many people eating but still it was calm.For the soup, you can choose only one portion, there is no large or small but just one. It was quite big portion. It was nicely hot and tasty. We liked it. I think I probably come back there.
There is one dish that brings me back weekly for and it’s the amazing chicken or shrimp curry! It’s one of those dishes that’s fills the stomach while also feeding the soul.Lots of great gluten free options! Celiac friendly.
Not bad. We both got the Pho Tai and it was pretty good. Also had the fresh rolls which were pretty good. However, $10 for fresh rolls is pretty steep. The same amount is literally half the price elsewhere. The waiter forgot our drinks and really never checked on us until the bill came. Thankfully the drinks werent on the bill lol
They charged takeout food 25 cents more for one dish/order. We ordered two of beef noodles soup, so we got charged 50 cents more. And the prices are expensive. The noodles soup we ordered was too salty, not good for people with high blood pressure and kidney problems. So we diluted with lots of water to make it edible.
Sticky floor, dirty bathroom, and slow service took away the delicious food experience. I was surprised by the sticky floor, then I witnessed sevwral times the service staff just swiped trash and food onto the floor and stepped over them. The bathroom was unusable (strong smell). The food was tasty, but because of the questionable cleanness, I was not able to enjoyed the food.
Double the price but half the flavor... Only thing saving this place is customer service and cleanliness. You are always treated well here and restaurant decorations stay cute. However, I came here for the food where satiation wasn’t met so.... NEXT!!!Pho was 13.50+tax=15+tip=18=ripped off
I am not an expert in Vietnamese food, but we did like the Pho very much (both beef and chiken). To Go orders are very large, and very well prepared so you finish them at home and get the best result. I am sure we will be back regularly.

The old short Vietnamese man at the counter is a reckless bigot. I ordered takeout online and came to pick up my food, and he immediately looked at me with suspicion and refused to believe that I was the one who ordered and paid for my food. I told him the name for my order, and instead of just giving me the food, he demanded to see my receipt in my smartphone. I showed him the receipt, and he told me he couldnt see the name. I pointed to the name. He scowled and abruptly turned around without saying anything, and he went to look onto a computer. He then told me to show him the part of the receipt where it showed what I ordered. I showed it to him. Finally, he picked up the bag of food which was sitting there the whole time, and he dropped it on the counter in front of me with a scowl on his face. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY regret including a tip when I ordered my food. Now Ive learned my lesson: Never tip ahead of time, in case you encounter a bigot employee. He also wasnt wearing a face mask, endangering the lives and health of his customers and co-workers. What a selfish, reckless person! And in addition to all of this, the food was totally MEDIOCRE. Ive been to several other Vietnamese restaurants in San Jose with high quality food (and wonderful service). The food that I received from LeQuy was filled with stale vegetables, and the meat did not taste fresh either. It was a very bland meal. (If you are reading this post and youve also been discriminated against by that man or anyone else in that restaurant, please send me a message.)
Ive always drove this place and was curious about this place for a long time and Im glad I finally try it out. Ive got their beef combination pho and it was very good. Nice clean flavors that doesnt over power your taste buds. I havent been to ESSJ to try the pho over there but this place is close to home I would gladly come back to get my pho on.
I was craving for a bowl of good Pho without the noodles drenched in MSG, and I found it! This place has a good portion and is fast with our order. ( ordered spring rolls and beef combination noodle soup.)
This is the best Vietnamese restaurant Ive been to in 38 years! My sister and I had an excellent bowl of pho, a chicken noodle dish and the spring rolls. Im returning there tomorrow.
We eat at LeQuy probably once a week! The food is fresh, delicious. The staff welcoming, pleasant, helpful, speedy. Hong the owner is often there and chats with us when we come in. I would go hungry without LeQuy! My favorite dish: Try the Pho with beef brisket. The Fresh Rolls are also tasty.
Foods not bad, but a little watered down (e.g. the spring rolls hardly have any mint; ditto for the vermicelli salads, which never have enough mint or fish sauce). Sadly, for Vietnamese food thats more authentic you have to go to Southeast San Jose.
Very delicious soup and egg rolls. Also have wonderful seating with some games playing on the TV and peaceful music playing. Not a lot of noise or distractions. The egg rolls are a little over priced tho.
Service isnt superb but adequate. Lunch time was quite busy. Food came out fast, which is expected for a pho place. I ordered a #33. Broth was light and lacking deep flavor. The meats inside were sparse and few. Compared to other pho places, this was a dissapointment.
Do it! Get the bun bo hue, resist the temptation for familiar pho Tai or Tai chin.. this one isnt too exotic and the lemongrass base (with copious odd on limes) approximates a tom yum noodle soup.
I came here because I live in Campbell and the pho restaurant I go to is by El Camino Real I ordered the spicy pho with pork and beef I believe when I got it the smell of the pork nearly made me gag. Once I picked off all the pork from the pho it still had the gross pork essence in it but after some rooster sauce and tinkering it wasnt that bad.On a side note the customer service was great and our server was very nice and attentive.Not that I wouldnt come back just that food I ordered was pretty gross-2 stars for meal

The food is really good, but I have to knock this place down two stars because it takes a very, very, very long time to get your food once you order it. Additionally, the man who serves the food is somewhat unfriendly.
Beef stew, also known as Bo Kho, is not good here.They do not carry thick rice noodles, and the beef texture taste and feels like it has been boiled for 3 minutes, and not steered.Better off getting pho from another place.

Pretty good, not as much as I hoped. Got a kick out of the entire crew taking their lunch break while I was there. If they all eat there together, it has to be good. Maybe I just ordered the wrong meal for my taste.
Campbell has few independently-owned restaurants. This location used to be a BBQ restaurant and before that, a corporate chain. The high rents mean higher food prices but as one of two legit Vietnamese restaurants in Campbell, it’s hard not to root for its success. The BBQ chicken vermicelli bowl is my favorite here, and you generally can’t go wrong with a chicken-based choice. (March 2018)

Try the rock and roll beef. Enjoy a Thai tea. The avocado spring rolls are amazing yummy peanut sauce too. The chicken wings appetizer is sticky goodness.

One of the few Vietnamese restaurants in Campbell. This family owned restaurant served a full menu, not just pho. They also have breakfast dishes. Unlike some Vietnamese restaurants this place is very friendly and welcoming.

Great spot for lunch or dinner. A good selection of soups, noodles and rice dishes. They have the only good Bún bò Huế that I have been able to find in a while.

2023-07-31 05:57:30Update: Almost 2 years visiting, and its still a favorite. Broth flavor is well developed and on point regardless of what soup you get. Been trying the other Vietnamese dishes and its always exciting and very authentic.Original post:Delicious pho and spring rolls thats low sodium and no MSG. The staff there today was very friendly too, eager to explain the menu to my uninitiated husband and very accommodating.

2022-11-16 01:24:21Ive been coming here since 2016 and I hadnt been here in almost three years until today.Le Quys food has and continues to be super comforting. The staff would often recognize us and the service is always speedy.I agree their pho doesnt taste as intense as other places, but it tastes very clean to me. They have the option to make the broth spicy, which gives it a kick that you can appreciate, but not enough to overpower any other flavors.Weve also had their calamari (I call them squid nuggies) and their avocado rolls.Their bun bo hue, chicken pho, and beef stew are pretty great, too. Ive yet to try a non noodle dish here...Heres to 6 more years!

2022-04-11 05:42:12I love this place! As a vegetarian I appreciate all their veg-friendly options. The menu is diverse but not overwhelming. I love their spring rolls, noodle dishes, and fried rice. The food comes out lighting fast and the service is fantastic. I’m so glad this place survived the pandemic and I’m happy to continue to support them!

I also ordered a BBQ pork vermicelli ($16). Pretty good.Staff was friendly. They have a lot of seating inside. Parking is easy as well.Follow the adventure @shoyuthebest on IG!

2023-12-06 10:08:28Mi Bo Kho didnt have carrots.Bun Bo Hue didnt have cooked blood.Im a little disappointed. Probably Im used to the restaurants in other parts of San Jose near Vietnam Town. If you dont know those missing items, youll do fine here.

2018-06-25 03:33:36Very impressive menu, pleasant dining experience with a family atmosphere. Like the decor with the added touches of new and old blended together. The crab and shrimp egg rolls is not a typical offering at most places. It was crispy and flavorful, maybe more crab. Got the beef onion rolls special. Wow great flavor. The onions were cooked through, beef had good grilled taste with medium well done. It came with mint and green leaf lettuce. The Specials was spread throughput the menu. The wait staff was efficient and helpful. I’m looking forward to my next visit.
