Food was excellent. Small place. The employees were nice. Hard workers. At the time I went it was very busy. I waited for 30mins for a pick up order but at the end I got my food and the food was excellent. I think I would just go and eat at the resturant instead of ordering take out food go and have some good authentic Mexican food.

I dont recall being to this place before, though my wife begs to differ. I really enjoyed my breakfast along with the lemonade I ordered. The service was great and so was the food. The flavors reminded me of my childhood. I recommend this place for a homey meal.

Some of these reviews I see on here are about the food going downhill or being just ok are ridiculous. We literally have been going here for almost 5 years as a stop on the way to AZ and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience. We have had the ceviche, California burritos, tacos al pastor and menudo and they we all cooked to perfection and the portions were phenomenal. They have a superb homemade salsa and their iced tea is one of the most refreshing I’ve ever had. It’s a lime as opposed to lemon tea and great after a long road trip. The meat used in their burritos doesn’t have a ton of gristle and the ceviche is fresh. Don’t know what else you can ask for. I have hit this place on the way to AZ and then on the way back to CA, it’s just that good.

Okay this quaint family run restaurant has good salsa, good chips, good beans, very good shredded beef, very good hope. Best chile relleno sauce I have had in a while. Unfortunately the chili relleno did not live up to the sauce. Would I eat there again? Yes, just no chili relleno. The staff was very nice.

I got the machaca breakfast combo, my tia got the Chile Colorado and honestly, sorry, but I finished the food before taking a picture.Very home style, very home feeling, and great service. It’s a stacked Saturday morning but the servers never failed to acknowledge us and tend to our needs.This is a great family spot.

Chose this place due to the highest rating in El Centro. I was passing through and wanted some authentic fish tacos. I was disappointed.... The rice and beans were good, but the fish tacos lacked any sort of flavour. Maybe their meat dishes are good but sadly im a vegetarian and only eat seafood, The fish was bland, the toppings were ok, but didnt do much to overtake the disappointing fish. 4 out of 5 because the ingredients were fresh, the rice and beans were really the star for me and I would venture a guess that their meats are good, but Id stay away from the fish.

Delicious, affordable Mexican food. Friendly staff in a small, unassuming restaurant space. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The chips and salsa are great; the salsa has a really lovely, smokiness. The California burrito is sizeable and phenomenal. Wonderful chicken fajitas with awesome tortillas.

Delightfully surprised!!I haven’t been here in YEARS….. like 15. My husband and I stopped in at 12 noon on Saturday, 01/28/2023 and had a late breakfast. I had chicken chiliquilles with beans and he had a combo plate of chiliquilles, eggs, beans, rice. We both really enjoyed our food. Everything was hot, seasoned, and cooked just right . The chicken practically melted in my mouth. The employees were happy, attentive, helpful, and always found something to keep them busy.The building itself is older but clean. Tables are somewhat close together.Go. Enjoy!

Lettys is a small restaurant and given the good reviews, I suspect it gets busy. We arrived early so it wasnt a problem. The food had different tastes than we are used to - I liked it, my companion didnt. We agreed the chips and salsa were excellent. My carnitas were deep fried chunks of pork - I am more used to shredded pork. But the flavor was good. Service was quick and friendly and the food came fairly quickly.

Still has very friendly service. The quality of the food is not as good as it used to be. The portions are somewhat smaller. However, it doesnt matter since the food had a lard aftertaste.Upon my return this month(May) it was great to still fine the same great service. However, and in all fairness, Lettys returned to their old recipes and the portions and quality were excellent. I recommend that viewers try out this authentic Mexican food restaurant.

This is a fantastic spot. Everyone was extremely friendly and they were patient with my attempts at speaking Spanish. The food was fantastic. I loved the enchiladas poblanos and my wife and kid loved the carne asada. The place has a fantastic hometown feel and again, the people there are absolutely wonderful. Cant wait to go again!

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in the Valley. The food is delicious, the prices are great, and the service is phenomenal. The very few times Ive had a longer wait, it was because the restaurant was full, and I know theyre making plates fresh every time.Fast food is fast food for a reason; I hope people can realize that and appreciate the value in waiting for a scrumptious dish. My go-to recommendation are tacos de borrego, and Ive yet to be disappointed when trying a new dish. Seriously, if youre in the Imperial Valley, youve got to try Lettys Casita.

Very good food. My husband had 2 ground beef soft tacos that were big and stuffed with product. My chile relleno was big and the egg/breading was not too thick with good amount of cheese . My shredded beef enchilada was served with an excellent salsa verde. All at a reasonable price.We were sad that they use breaded fish on their fish tacos so we couldnt have them.

Maybe they had an off day. The customer service was fine, but my wife and I had the carnitas platter, and carnitas burrito, respectively. I could not stomach either. The meat was dry, and tasted rancid. The cilantro did not carry any resemblance to the expected flavor, and was soggy. The beans were watered down. All in all a horrendous meal.

Ive had Lettys in the past for their $6.50 Friday carne asada burrito special, and the service was great in the past. This last time I went, the service was lacking; it took the servers a while to notice us and give us menus. It took at least 20 mins for them to give us waters, and I had to be the one to go up and ask for cups of water. We ordered, and while the food came out in a decent amount of time, I asked for a side of sour cream that took the server a long time to give to me. By the time I got it, my family was already done with their food, my burrito was cold, and never once did the servers come to check on us to see if we needed anything else. I love this place, but I was frustrated and disappointed by this latest experience.

Sometimes, it feels like the person on the phone doesnt care honestly about what it it is that you are inquiring to eat. Especially, if you live in the same block as their business is on, just on the other side of the street. It becomes furthermore embarrassing, when you take into account that around every 2 weeks, for about 3yrs ordering the same thing each time, (with minor changes), just to receive the order with no resemblance of the food I had previously ordered. But on a high note: their have a bomb ground beef burrito/taco that is worth the complaining, traveling back and forth, again and agoin. 3.5 stats if it were possible. No more than that because, it seems, when I walk in, Im being mean mugged by everyone in the place, either awaiting theyre order, or is awaiting to order. I ordered the Carnitas Plate which is 2 Carnitas tacos with fresh guacamole, a side of mexican red rice, refried beans, and a small portion of lettuce and tomatoes to add to your tacos as preffered.
