Great noodles underpinned by fantastic secret family recipe broth. Everybody enjoyed their food. Also an excellent spot for a craft beer, Tracy and Ed provided excellent service and recommendations on pours.

Awesome family owned restaurant. Really nice owners & servers. I’m obsessed with the egg roles. They come with mint and lettuce to wrap around and it makes it taste super fresh. I also really like the gravy chow fun.They also recently remodeled and it looks super stylish now, more insta-worthy, with a more young, fun vibe. They also have awesome fire heaters outside in their patio.

LHK noodle bar is definitely the spot to go for true comfort Asian food. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years to eat their amazing rice and noodle dishes and still always crave it. They now serve over 10 beers on tap and a huge wine selection.🍜 LHK wonton dumpling noodle soup: egg noodles, juicy pork filling, char siu🍗 Roasted chicken: 1/2 cornish game hen, juicy inside, flavorful skin, the BEST🐖 Garlic pork chops: loaded with crispy garlic, crunchy on the outside, moist pork, a HUGE must🍗 Sampler platter: perfectly battered chicken, fish and calamari with the most amazing garlic chili seasoning🐖 Roasted pork: tender pork belly with a crispy skin🍜 Surf n turf noodles: crunchy fried noodles with juicy shrimp and tender filet🍚 LHK red fried rice: loaded with chicken, beef, shrimp and bbq porkYou definitely can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. They even have TVs so make sure a grab a beer, relax and enjoy some true comfort food!

In Mira Mesa there are plenty of Vietnamese food options. What separates LHK from the rest is A) their forward thinking in wanting to offer unique Vietnamese food options you wont find anywhere else B) an amazing bar with an assortment of craft beers and C) the best customer service you will find anywhere hands down. The owner Michelle, Justin, Ed & Tracy operate a family owned business so you can feel the pride and hard work that they put in. They do a tremendous job making you feel like you are family. Most Vietnamese places are in a hurry to rush you out to make room for the next guest. LHK on the other hand takes their time to ensure youre comfortable and satisfied. My personal favorites are the Red Fried Rice and the Roasted Pork (le chon) bun.

I love the new LHK Noodle bar! Delicious food and generous portion. It’s also a great spot to hangout, have some beers, and watch the game with friends. I would definitely come back here again. :)

Service was A+. The waitress was very nice. I love egg noodles but I have a recommendation for the owners. The soup and be remixed to have much less MSG by increasing the quantity of Salt and Sugar. I suggest them to do so because a lot of people like me are sensitive to MSG and dont like the absolute heavy headed knock out experience afterwards of consuming too much MSG. Please take my suggestion. I think youre business can improve a lot more when the product you serve makes people feel stronger and not a lot weaker afterwards. MSG has this absolute effect of creating a lot of tension in the head and body. Please consider and I love the noodles just not the way I feel after 1 hour of consuming it.

(TL;DR) Conclusion: The food was a-okay. Service was good. Price is reasonable, but no more lunch special. Overall, was pleased with what we got, but I feel that it is a little above average. In the past I would have given it a 4 star, but without the lunch special, I would put it a 3. Still recommend to give it a try though.Came here on July 13, 2017 with 3 of my friends for one of my friends lunch break at around 12. I ordered the Char-Grilled Chicken with extra rice for $1.50. The food didnt take too long to come, probably around the 5-7 minute mark. It came with some soup base. My friends and I often come to this place since it is very close to their workplace and in the past they had lunch specials.The fried rice tastes good and the char chicken was great. The pickle veggies were fresh and good. When I ate the fried rice, it leaves a kind of sticky taste in the mouth. Feels crispy-ish. I felt they used a lot of oil being making my dish. The broth was okay. My friends had no complaints or comments on their food other than that they didnt really like the broth, so I finished it for them. After a little bit of food tasting, I decided to spice up my food. I added a spoon of jalapenos, sriracha sauce, and some other spicy sauce that has seed to it to make it a bit spicy. It was spicy to wash off the flavor.The service here is good. When we walked in the door, the waiter asks how many people, then he brings you to have a seat. They give you the menu and then water cup, gave us enough time to order. They refilled our water cups. To pay, we always got up to the counter. However, the only thing I do not like is the fact that they do not provide a receipt that gives you the breakdown of each of the item that you bought. I guess you have to ask for it, but I hate to ask for it. My friend got up and paid for his share of the food since his lunch break was up. The only way I knew that our price was right is when they told us the total which is $30.71, which sounds about right because our dish cost close to $10. But I wish I knew the breakdown of each of our food cost.Pricing here is reasonable. Most of the items I looked at that I wanted at the menu typically cost between 8 to 12 dollars. The portion of the food was good for the price too. In order to use your credit card to pay, you minimum purchase must be at least $7 (not counting tip). The one thing I was disappointed was the fact that they removed the lunch specials. When they used to have it, the same lunch I had would have been about 2-3 cheaper. I remember some were at $5.95 and $6.95. I am sad to see that go and that was the biggest reason why we came here to eat frequently aside from the fact that it is conveniently located close to my friends work place. There are plenty of other places to eat as well too, but their lunch special kept drawing us to eat here.

👎👎👎This was our first time coming back to this place since they changed ownership. Extremely disappointed with their food due to lack of quality and flavors. We ordered the house special duck herbs noodles soup and beef sate. The soup was salty and tasted very bland. We will definitely NOT comming back. My husband said we could get better food at Panda Express for less $ and more flavorful than at LHK 👎👎👎

Great experience. The owner is really nice and the food was very good. The service is great constant refill of water without asking. Food was fresh and hot. Overall 5 stars
